Hiya! I'm Hurricane Bash, and this is my story. I will tell you about my past, and some of the adventures I have had. I hope you enjoy, because a lot of pain and tears were in my past also.
The day after my fifth birthday, my parents went out to the Music store. Tey were really into music, especially my mom. We live in Cloudsdale, you see, and music is hard to come by up here. Record Bash was my father, and Whirlwind Crash my mother. Funny when your parent's names rhyme. Anyway, they went out to the music store, but they hadn't come back in three hours. I called my friend Club of Spades to ask if she had seen them. "Hey, uh, Spades," I said. "Hey, guy," she replies. "What's up?" "My parents are missing. Have you seen 'em?" There was silence for a moment. Then I heard her yell, "Hey, pops! Have you seen Record or Whirlwind? Hurricane says they're missing!" A muffled voice speaks. I can't make out what it's saying, I wait for a while. Soon, Spades' voice comes back onto the phone. "Naw, we haven't seen them. I can help you look though." "Yeah, thanks." Silence for a few seconds. "I'll be over in a jiffy."
She was here in five minutes. She was, of course, dressed up in military camouflage. I facehoofed. "Seriously?" I asked. She looked at me like I was the one who was crazy. "There might be ninjas, she said, doing a really bad karate kick. I facehoofed again. I went up into my room and looked for something cool to wear. I saw my red Daring Do pith helmet. I had ordered one that would match my cot. I also grabbed my red scarf and donned them both. I walked out, and Spades laughed. "You look like a walking target!" "Oh yeah, well you look like a skunk that fell in the dumpster." Her jaw dropped. "Let's just get going already."
They died. They both died at the same time. My mom wasn't paying attention, and she hit a lamppost. She fell unconcious, and fell through a shink in the cloud cover. My dad, as self-preserving as he normally was, didn't notce and ran into the same thing. They both plummeted to the ground and hit it hard. They both died instantly. Spades and I saw their bodies from high up in Cloudsdale. I flew down to them at near lightning speed. Spades chased after me. I stopped abruptly. My whole body was shaking. "No…" I said, after about five minutes of silence. I could feel the anger coming off of myself. "No," I said, louder this time. Spades backed away. "Um, Hurricane? Your colors are melting." I looked down. Sure enough, they were melting into white. Then, at the edges, new colors started filling in. My mane started to fill in orange, and my coat started to fill in sky bue. I had no idea what it meant. "Dude, you look like you're going Super-Pony!" Spades exclaimed stupidly. I turned around slowly. "I wish that were all it is," I said. I had no idea where those words came from. Spades backed away even more. She had a worried look on her face. "Hurricane, are you okay? You're starting to freak me out." I had to explain. I opened my mouth to say something, but I didn't get the chance. My body's new colors filled in completely, and I lost consciousness.
I was trapped in my own mind. I saw all the things I had learned over the years. There was the Wonderbolt's history lesson, my last Hearth's Warming Eve, everything was there. There was another pony, too. He looked like me, but with the coat and mane colors I mentioned above. And his eyes. His eyes were both green. Mine are mismatched. One is red, and the other is green. "Who…" I started. He finished for me. "Who am I?" he said in an asking tone. "I am Tornado Slash. Have you ever wondered why you have mismatched eyes?" He pointed at his own eyes with a hoof. "That would be me." I stared at him in disbelief. "You… you are the reason that I get bullied at school." He nodded. "Why did nopony tell me about this?" He looked at me with fake sympathy. "It's because nopony knows, yet." On the last word, his tone became harsh. "And I would prefer that it stays that way. At least, for now. You can go back to your life now." Everything went black.
A WEEK LATER
"Are you sure that you two foals will be okay?" It was Spades' dad, King of Clubs. I had decided to move to a new town, and Spades' mom, Queen of Hearts, had told her to go with me. "Go make some new friends," she had said. "Maybe some of the ponies you meet will gamble!" So, anyway, we were about to get ont the train. We had bought tickets to the very fitst stop, which was a small town named Ponyville. "Yessur, Mr. Clubs!" I answered. He nudged us toward the train. "Well, you better get going, then." "Weeeell…" Spades said. "I'll play you in a game of Blackjack!" I smirked. "You're on."
