When the Sun Shone, it Shone on the Heroes that helped summon it. There was a story not told, of another that had no relation to the Heroes.

A small boy, by the name of Aran Ignis, age thirteen, was hit with a stray Ray of Light, how this happened is not known. The boy dissapeared, and no trace was discovered. As if the boy had not existed.

When the Ray hit the small boy, he gained an amount of Understanding of Alchemy. Aran already had within him the blood of powerful Mars Adepts, but he had no control over his power. Now he Understood, but couldn't Control.

For a moment an Inferno as intense as the sun raged, but only for a moment. Aran felt himself falling, but that was impossible, he rationalized, for he was in the middle of a small field of stone before. All he could see around him was the colour red.

He was falling, fast. Aran moved a hand to pinch himself, as you would when you want to know if you are dreaming.

As he did so, he closed his eyes and smiled, wondering what type of breakfast he will have when he wakes. Aran continued to fall through nothingness.

His smile faded, and he began screaming. This is where the story of Aran Ignis, a thirteen year old boy who has no Control over his Alchemy, but somewhat Understands and has

tremendous Power.

Third Person - Equus, 1500 Before NMM - Celestia

As her Day Court came to an end, Celestia rose to go lower her Sun, and be with Luna to raise the Moon. Passing windows walking to the room in which they held the cerimony, Celestia caught sight of the sky.

Such a beautiful sunset... Celestia, still thinking of the problems of her Day Court, did not realize that she had not yet lowered the sun, so there should be no sunset. She turned her gaze higher and saw her Sun still high in the sky.

It finally clicked. Celestia jumped out the window, shattering the glass, scaring the guards walking past her. Celestia spread her wings and flew high into the sky, searhcing for whatever had the power make the sky look like a sunset.

As she flew higher, she saw flames dancing across the sky, and if she listened closely she could hear would sounded like an adolescent colt screaming what sounded like a mix of the Zebra's language and the Minotaur's language.

Now slightly enraged and worried for the colt, she flew closer to the flames, which she noticed, were slowly descending into the forest. Before she flew to far away, she yelled to her sister Luna, "Luna! We art going to find the disturbance of these flames! Do not worry!"

Treetops were being lit on fire now, Celestia hoped none of her little ponies living in scattered housing throughout the forest would be injured. Desperate to find the source of this Inferno, she flew faster, the heat and fire getting more intense. As she neared the center of the storm,

she could start making out the figure causing it. It appeared to be a Minotaur with a smaller lower half, and no horns. Just as Celestia was starting to make out the figure, the flames stopped. The only flames that raged was the forest, already lit. The strange figure fell into the forest.

"Sister! We hath come to help thee-" Luna flew up to Celestia, but stopped speechless as she saw half of their forest, the Everfree, burning. Luna, calling upon the power of the Moon, gathered the moisture in the air, Willing it to put out the fire, and so it did, mostly

All was not without losses however. The fire had claimed half of their forest. Luna heard Celestia gasp, and start to cry. Celestia pointed her hoof down to the forest ground, where few small fires still raged despite Luna's efforts.

Luna too gasped, and shed a tear as she saw numerous pony bodies lying dead, burning, melting. Both Sisters enraged, flew to the spot where the figure fell.

First Person - Aran - Everfree

When I woke up I was in a world of pain, all I remember was standing in a field of stone, waiting for the local Venus Adepts. I thought they had wanted to rob me, and that was why I was waking up with a major migraine. I opened my eyes, and saw a burnt forest around me. That was the first clue I had there was something wrong. The second was the two winged unicorns flying down to me. I don't know how I knew, but they looked angry. I rose to get a better view of where I was.

It all came back to me in an instant, seeing a bright second Sun on the horizon, feeling it's rays. Understanding Alchemy, but losing Control, even less Control then I had before. Then the falling, as if I was pushed from the ledge of a cliff. I saw red everywhere, and flames. I had thought I was dreaming, I wasn't then. Perhaps I am now, I had thought. I pinched myself once more, to be sure. I was confident I was dreaming then, winged unicorns? Surely, no such thing could exist.

The smug smile I wore vanished. This was very much real. How, I didn't know. I had never heard of such fantastical creatures. They flew at me with grace, and speed. They were angry, that much I was sure of. Angry at me, I rationalized.

I took a look around, and saw the destruction around me.

What looked like small horse skeletons were littered about, but not many. I saw burnt trees, some still on fire. It finally clicked, and I remembered being in the middle of a great fire, an Inferno. I did this. I Understood Alchemy, but I could still not Control my Psynergy powers. My head drooped in shame, surely these winged unicorns were going to kill me.

Thumps on the ground in front of me confirmed that they were after me. I looked up at them, taking in what would probably by my killers appearance. After all, I cannot Control my powers, I cannot defend myself. One was blue with a starry mane flowing behind it. The other was white with a multicoloured mane flowing in a nonexistent breeze, as did the first.

Strange, female like noises came from the blue one. It sounded angry, and I decided it was female. She wore regalia bearing a crescent moon. I decided I would call her Night. The other white one spoke something as well, thought I could not understand her either. I took a better look at her, she also wore regalia and was slightly taller than Night.

Deciding that this one too, was female, I named it Day. Further shouting from Day and Night convinced me they were very angry with me, and I knew why. I remember being at the middle of the Inferno that fell on this area, once a forest. I dropped my head in shame, shrugged and spoke.

"I cannot understand you beings, but I acknowledge what I have caused. By not being able to Control my Power, it seems I have taken life, and burned a forest. I accept whatever punishment you see fit."

Third Person - Celestia and Luna - Everfree

Celestia and Luna looked at eachother in shock. The strange minotaur had just looked at them when they yelled at him, for when it spoke it sounded male. At least, they assumed it spoke, all they heard were different pitched growls. It hung it's head.

"Sister, what shall we do with this strange minotaur? It burned down half of our Everfree, and killed some few ponies." Luna carefully spoke to her sister.

"Luna, you know King Roxas would be upset if we did not hand over any minotaurs that commit crimes in our lands, he is strict with his subjects. But..." Celestia trailed off.

"He does not have to know. This would cause too much trouble were it to get out." Luna finished.

"We have come to an agreement. As much as I hate to agree with thee sister, we must be rid of him." Celestia spoke, as she activated her half of the Elements of Harmony.

Luna activated her own half, each sister realizing they needed to exterminate the threat to Equestria before it bloomed. An intense rainbow washed over the strange minotaur, and it let out a low pitched growl, seemingly in pain. The sisters did not stop, but shed a tear as they sympathized with the creature.

The creature fell, and looked as if it was kneeling, and spoke it's supposed final words, and the sisters Understood it. Somehow, they perfectly Understood what the being said.

"I... was Aran Ignis. I was able to Understand Alchemy, just a little bit. I had Power, but no Control, and this is my fate. Remember me, The Uncontrollable Flame."

Third Person - Aran - Everfree

He had no idea what he said, it sounded as if he spoke the winged horse's language, if only for a moment. He was in extreme pain, the winged unicorns cast some spell he presumed on him, it was a very pretty rainbow. But all he felt was pain. He felt himself slipping, melting. Cremating, he was turning into ash.

He made this realization, and suddenly the pain stopped. He felt serene, at peace, as the rainbow continued on. Strangely, he could feel himself rematerialized somewhere else. He could feel his limbs, but not see them. All except his torso and head were gone now. His arms and legs were surrounded by what felt like silk.

Aran was beginning to feel pain again, but only in the limbs he could not see. He felt burned. One last time, as his body was fading, he looked at the winged unicorns. They were crying, as he smiled. Then Aran blacked out.

Third Person - Celestia and Luna - Everfree

Just as he was turned to ash, the Sisters saw the being who named himself The Uncontrollable Flame, return unfazed by the rainbow of the Elements of Harmony. Or so they thought. They saw the Rainbow turn him into ash, but there it was. A statue, depicting the man in his last moments, kneeling with a smile on his face. He was obviously in pain, but still he smiled.

And both the Sisters agreed that they would put this statue in their garden at their castle, to commemorate the evil creature that let they captured. For at it's end, it seemed remorseful.

Third Person - Aran - ???

I regained conciousness, and felt so comfortable, but in pain. I felt burned all over. That didn't feel right. I tried to recall what happened, but could remember nothing. What is my name? I can't even recall that. Where am I from? Where am I now? I can't remember! I opened my eyes, and I found myself to be in a sterile looking room. I saw strange objects, and heard a strange noise. I looked myself over. I'm in a strange bed, with rails on the side. Looking at my arm, which is burned, there is a tube in my wrist. I panicked for a moment, looking around the room I was in, I recalled why it was familiar to me.

It was similar to a hospital, I had heard of strange hosiptal facilities in other parts of Weyard, but never been. I thought for a moment, and realized I remembered that! Weyard! That's where I'm from, the land where I was born. Where am I now, and why can't I remember anything? I heard the door open, and I quickly laid back down. I glanced at the door, and saw a woman like figure walk in.

Third person - Woman - Aran's Room

"Hello? Are you awake yet sir?" The doctor, her name Amber, asked the patient she was assigned to.

"Where am I? Who are you?" The boy sat up and spoke.

"You are in the hospital, being treated for burns. I am Doctor Amber, also I was tasked with finding out how you were burned. You were found in a forest that had recently caught on fire, the firemen who put it out were the ones that found you. Do you remember anything? What's your name?"

The boy looked confused, but deep in thought.

"I can't remember."

Omniscient Third Person

Life went on for Aran. Plagued by Amnesia, he learned as if he was newborn, the new world he was in. Before one could be given to him, he remembered his name. Aran Ignis was adopted, and grew up as a normal child. He grew up normally. He made friends, went through school. All was not well for him though, he was plagued by strange dreams. Aran saw himself, in a strange land, and then in a forest with winged unicorns.

Aran grew up, and thought nothing of the dreams. Quickly through school, he was in his final year of High School when he stumbled into Video Games. One such series was called Golden Sun. It looked much like the land in his dreams, and he fell in love with the series. He made friends also interested in games as he was.

Aran at this point had a personality of being nice to his friends and being a bit rude to strangers and his enemies. It was at this point in his life that his friends invitied him to a gaming convention. His friends dressed up as characters from video games, and he as a character he made up from the Golden Sun series he so loved. He dressed as his original character he made, a Mars Adept.

Now the real story begins at this convention. Aran saw many characters from video games he knew at this convention. He saw Solaire of Astora from Dark Souls, someone dressed in a steampunk outfit, and some dressed as the main characters from Gurren Lagann to name a few.

The adventure begins when Aran strays from his friends to a prop store. Aran found a sword here, a really good replica of the Sol Blade from Golden Sun. He bought it, for a good price. Around one hundred and fifty dollars. Quite the steal for how good of a replica it was. As soon as he left the store with the Sol Blade in hand, all Aran could see was the colour Red. Aran felt like he was falling, and then he blacked out. Unbeknownst to him, this was the second time.
