No matter what kind of life you lead, no matter what job you have or what kind of people you spend your time around, you can be sure that there will always be trouble brewing just under the shell of that facade so many ponies keep up. That small and oh-so-easily broken surface like the still waters of the ocean. Everything looks nice and calm on the outside but behind it is hidden roaring currents just waiting to sweep you away if you are not careful.
A certain trio of musicians were a group of such ponies. Ones that kept up a facade while the currents beneath roared in a chaotic display of emotions that none of them seemed to be able to sort out. Their names were Lyra, Octavia, and Neon Lights; two classical musicians with one DJ. Their interests were primarily in music which, considering their occupations, was not a very hard conclusion to come to, but music was not their only shared interest.
Just like they all liked music, so too did they all have a particular interest in picnics and spa treatments. Neon would never admit to it, but he was always more excited about spa trips than the mares, if not more so.
That is not to say that they shared everything, or even very much at all. No, they were quite a different set of ponies. Octavia was supposedly the prim and proper lady, but the mare had a serious naughty streak, and a bit of a dirty mind. Lyra was more frivolous. While she knew how to act like a lady when the situation called for it, she was more of a light-hearted spirit that was as difficult to get moody as a mountain was to tip over. Neon Lights was the most outgoing of the three which was required for being a DJ . He was often loud and was cursed with a sailor’s mouth that had a tendency to run wild when Lyra or Octavia weren’t near to reprimand him.
No, they were quite different and had their quarrels from time to time. But there was one thing that each of them had in common. One thing that they thought they were alone about. Neon Lights was stuck at a crossroad. The path was splitting in two, and he didn’t know which one to step onto and follow. At one end of the path stood Octavia, and on the other stood Lyra. He was in love with both, but did not know which one he should pursue. He wanted both, but was unsure as to who he should try his luck with. Which of the two lovely mares was the one he had the best chances with?
What he did not know, however, was that Octavia was standing at the very same crossroad, only with her image replaced by that of Neon Lights himself - and so was Lyra. All three of them shared the same feelings about each other, and yet none of them seemed to be able to make the first move, all of them too unsure about who they should choose.
Despite this they lived happily together, having fun most days, chatting with each other all evening long or watching movies. While they were crushing hard on each other, they still lived as just friends. And sometimes went out as just friends. It was at such an outing that they had what could possibly be the strangest night they ever had. It was the night they met Vinyl Scratch.
“So… where are we going?” Neon Lights asked, making a giddy jump in anticipation. His job forced him to spend a lot of his weekends in clubs, almost always as a DJ. It was a rare occasion that he was a visitor.
Lyra, rolled her eyes with a smile playing at her lips. “For the last time, Nylon Tights-”
“Neon Lights.”
“We’re going to the Demon’s Lair,” Lyra continued, as if nothing had happened. “This new and totally awesome club in town!” Her smile slowly morphed into a lopsided grin. “They say there are real Succubi and Incubi working there! Y’know, real demons!”
Neon was about to say something in return but was interrupted by the bell-like laughter of the other mare walking with them towards the club. “When are you going to stop reading those silly fanfictions, Lyra? I know you’re a fan of that Monster World comic series, but demons and monsters don’t really exist.”
“Oh hush, ‘Tavi. At least I didn’t read that failure of a book ‘fifty shades of hay’. I mean, come on! That was the worst story ever!”
The cellist cocked an eyebrow, one corner of her mouth pulling up into a half-smirk as she shot the lyrist a side-long glance. “I read it for the sex. The story was pathetic, but the sex was very interesting. Why else would anypony read that book?”
“Perv~!” Neon sing-songed.
“Never claimed otherwise,” she retorted, causing all of them to giggle. “Regardless, it should be just around this corner and - wow!” Octavia stopped in her tracks which resulted in Lyra bumping head first into her haunches.
“What is it?” Lyra asked, walking up beside Octavia so that she, too, could see what she assumed was the club. She gasped. The entrance was anything but humble. A giant, horned head sat atop the door which was made to look like the maw of the beast occupying the space above it, with a red carpet functioning as its tongue. “Okay… overdoing it a little, don’tcha think?”
“Pfft. You shoulda seen one of my gigs,” Neon Lights chimed up, grinning at the display like a child in a candy shop. “Some rich guy booked the entire club for a whole night and requested that everything was hentai themed. I mean, our bartender was forced to dress as a tentacle monster! ...Luckily he was a unicorn. How he handled the drinks,” he pretended to wipe a tear from his eye and made a fake sniffle, “it looked so epic.”
“Yeah… Even I don’t wanna hear more about that. Sounds gross.” Octavia shuddered and started trotting forward. “I need some alcohol to knock out that particular image. Thanks Neon.”
“You’re welcome… What image?”
“You getting raped by the bartender?” Lyra shot him an innocent smile before following Octavia, paying no mind to the stallion that was holding a hoof to his mouth, trying not to barf.
“You’re disgusting!” He exclaimed, shifting into a light canter to catch up with the two. “Could you at least be kind to dear old me?”
“We’re both half a year older than you, Neon,” Lyra retorted with a small smile that mirrored Octavia’s. “Sorry to bust your bubble, but you’re the child here.” She turned and gave him a playful pat on the head before returning her hoof to the sidewalk.
“Yeah, yeah.” He made a shooing motion, swatting her leg off of him which only resulted in him hitting nothing but air. He couldn’t suppress a small grin, however, as he looked towards his friends. He felt himself staring for too long at the pair, and his cheeks flushed as he turned his eyes back to the club. “I’ll let you pretty mares win this time,” he suddenly turned around in front of them, stopping them in their tracks and raising a hoof in a mock threatening manner. “But mark my words! One day… One day, I will win!” The grin reappeared, and he strode towards the entrance of the club again, the two mares following him while shaking their heads.
The three of them had been standing in line for upwards of half an hour by this point thanks to the massive line of ponies.
“Are we there yet?”
Octavia glanced behind her, a deadpan look on her face. “No, Lyra, we’re not there yet.”
“How about now?”
“Not you too Neon?”
“Yup! Me too!”
Octavia shook her head. “I’m surrounded by children.”
“Super hot children!” Lyra exclaimed.
“Celestia help me…”
Several more minutes passed until finally they stood in front of the bouncer, a monster of a stallion wearing an all-too-tight suit through which his muscles were easily visible.
“Names?”
Neon stepped forward, ready to introduce them. “Lyra, Octavia, and Neon Lights.”
The bouncer looked down at his clipboard, eyes scanning the list. “Lyra and Octavia are on the list, but there’s no Neon Lights - only a Nylon Tights.”
If looks could kill, then Lyra would be in for a very painful death.
Luckily for her, she decided to save him. “He is Nylon Tights. Lyra Heartstrings, I made the reservation.”
The bouncer paused for a moment, then looked down on his clipboard again for a short moment before nodding. “Alright.” He held aside the rope that separated them from the door. “Come on in.”
Neon pushed open the doors and made his way into the Demon’s Lair with Lyra and Octavia following. They turned their heads this way and that way in an attempt to see everything at once. The club was huge, with a massive bar with at least five bartenders on the right side of the room with a ridiculously large dancefloor and private booths just past the bar. At the far end of the club was the stage, upon which was placed a set of turntables, a large subwoofer, a couple floorbasses and whatever else a DJ could wish for. One could almost see the sparkles through Neon’s shades.
Octavia and Lyra knew that, even if they were to try and get him to look away, he would not avert his gaze from the equipment on stage right now. They did not know, however, that it was the equipment he was fascinated by, and not the current DJ. They both looked somewhat sullen at seeing him so fixated on something that was not them. Looking up at the stage, they could see the white unicorn with the dual-toned, blue mane. Her cutie mark was hidden by the turntables she was standing behind. She, like Neon, wore a pair of shades, though hers were a dark purple as opposed to Neon’s dark grey.
They were brought out of their reverie as Neon came up to them and nudged each of them in the side. “So, ready to party!?” he shouted over the deep, rhythmic thumping of the bass. Now that they were actually paying attention to the music, they could hear that it was one of the fresher tracks of this year. It had hit the scene a week before, released by the relatively new and yet incredibly famous DJ PON-3.
“You bet,” Lyra replied with a grin, making no move to remove the leg Neon had put over both her and Octavia’s shoulders. “Now,” she pointed at the bar, “first booze, then the dance floor!”
“Booze, then dancing. In a club, late at night?” Octavia shook her head, a smirk teasing at her lips. “Sounds like a recipe for some plot!”
Lyra shot a nervous look at Octavia. She shuffled out of Neon’s sideways hug and trotted over to the cellist’s other side, patting her reassuringly on her withers. “Leave the jokes to me, please,” she said, forcing eye contact with the other mare before giving a demure smile and motioning for the bar again. “Anyway, let’s go!”
Octavia mumbled something inaudible, presumably something about her jokes being funny, if Lyra knew her well enough. It was a typical thing for Octavia to make bad jokes. She could crack some pretty good ones when they were on a perverted topic, but when she tried to tell jokes outside of such topics… she’d fall and crash like a brick, more often than not. That is not to say that it never worked, however. Every once in a while, a comment of hers was the source of raucous laughter among the three friends.
With the part time joke-disaster that was Octavia, Lyra and Neon continued towards the bar and took a stool each. They waved over one of the bartenders and ordered a drink. Dry Martini for Octavia, Bloody Mary for Lyra, and a Sex on the Beach for Neon Lights. The two string players knew better than to comment on his choice of drink. They’d done so before, and it always ended in him trying to explain how ordering such a drink with a straight face was something “real stallions did.” The excuses were hardly convincing, no matter how often he tried.
One by one, they twirled around on the stool 180 degrees and leaned against the counter, sipping their drinks as they watched the Dj play. Hesitant, sidelong glances were exchanged between them, none of them catching the others’ looks. They sat there, the heavy bass rocking through their bodies, and thought about their relationships, each one as confused, and willing, as the next.
Pumping bass. Blinding lights. Grinding bodies and rivers of booze. That was the way the club was at the moment, and it was just like how Vinyl Scratch liked it. The DJ was currently standing behind her turntables, turning knobs and spinning records, doing what she loved. Well, one of the things she loved.
Vinyl Scratch was a pony of many talents. You only ever had one. For Vinyl, that was a mirror image of a double eighth note. It showed anyone looking of her talent for music, especially the unorthodox. Hence why it was turned the wrong way, it was different. She also thought herself as having quite a bit of talent when it came to romance, especially the unorthodox and less widespread kinds.
And such a couple were the ones her eye was trained on at the moment. Or rather, a trio. Neither seemed to be more than friendly with each other, but her experienced eye could see the subtle, telltale signs of ponies in love.
She grinned, smashing her hoof down on a big red button, changing the disc to one she knew would soon unleash the mother of all bass drops, then went back to studying the three of them. A mint-green unicorn mare, teal and white mane and tail, golden eyes and, Damn, I swear she could make it as a model with that body! Vinyl whistled, the sound drowning in the loud music coming from the speaker in front of her. She was relatively thin, but by no means unhealthily so. She was just thin enough, and with enough curves to her body, that the DJ would bet her entire savings that any model catalogue would kill to have her onboard. Musician, though, if that Mark is anything to go by. But… that ass! She bit her lip, eyes glazed and half-lidded behind her glasses.
Shaking a few dirty images from her mind, she looked to where said unicorn’s gaze was directed. What she spotted was class, style, and beauty all in one. This one was much more plain than the unicorn, with a grey coat and charcoal black mane long enough to go past her knees, a tail to match that had to be raised slightly so as to not scrape along the floor. Where the unicorn had been sexy as all hell, this one was elegance and beauty incarnate. She was fit and toned, like most earth ponies, but this went beyond just that. It was like she had done everything conceivable to get the most out of what she had. There were no significant curves to speak of, but...
Vinyl shook her head, there was no words to describe it. That earth pony was just fucking gorgeous in a plain way. She simply could not describe it differently.
Following her glance, she looked to the next of the three. She could not keep a small frown from her face. Her nose scrunched up ever so slightly. Stallion, she sighed internally. Mares are so much more entertaining. But still… gotta give the guy props. He’s managed to catch the interest of two gorgeous mares, if the glances they give him are any indication, and he does seem to be working out just a bit- Gah! She stopped for a moment and glared down at her blank sides. She lifted a hoof to scratch herself, muttering to herself. Would you stop itching, please! I’d rather nopony knows about you two! I’m trying to keep it a secret, damnit!
Returning to her attention to her turn tables, she mulled over what she had seen as she worked on changing track; a slower one this time. Cautious glances at each other constantly. Slight blush that is definitely not from the alcohol. They haven’t been here that long, I don’t think. Thoughtful frowns… A smirk worked its way to her lips, morphing into a devilish grin soon after. Head over hooves in love with each other, indeed. No doubt about it. And not just a love triangle where one pine after the other, but ignores the one interested in themselves, no sir, they’re all in love with each other. No weak link or third wheel. Her grin lessened to a more friendly smile. She peeked over her glasses at them, the world losing its purple tint for the moment. Standing at a fork in the road, one way or the other. She chuckled. Why not go between the two roads and ask them to join you as you make a third road yourself?
She continued to watch them for a few more minutes, her gaze shifting between all three, only leaving one to look at the other. Most ponies she observed were only ever interested in one pony, and even when there were three or more ponies involved it was usually always one pining after the other, and the other pining after a third. If she had to be totally honest, this was the first time she’d ever seen a situation such as this. Her face split into what could only be described as the grin of a maniac. This couldn’t be more perfect.
Let’s give them a little push.
Life as a high-class cellist of the Canterlot elite was often filled with boring soirées and mindless chit-chat to get a contract here and a favor there. It was grey and dull, not like the seizure-inducing lights and loud music of the club. She’d never admit it to anypony like Beauty Brass, Harpo, or any of the other high-society snobs she played with, but she far preferred the club to a soirée. That is not to say that they weren’t great friends. No, Beauty and Harpo were certainly some of Octavia’s oldest and best friends, having known them for over a decade. They had just become a little bit too uptight for her liking during the past few years.
She couldn’t help but let out a sigh as she shot a sidelong glance at Lyra. Fame could make one become too full of oneself. Lyra, on the other hoof, was modest. She knew how to accept praise, but still appear humble about it. Octavia had never seen the mare be even the smallest bit arrogant or selfish.
Well, whenever it didn’t involve strawberry ice cream, that is. That mare could become a veritable monster should anyone steal her ice cream.
She chuckled, the sound drawing the attention of the mint-green mare.
“What’s so funny?” She asked, her smile slowly morphing into a smirk.
“Nooothing,” Octavia replied, leaning over and doing her best impression of a drunken nuzzle. Leaving a little hint couldn’t hurt. “Just thinking.”
“About the DJ?” Lyra turned to look at the white unicorn behind the turntables. She could’ve sworn that she was looking right back at her, but brushed it off as an impossibility that PON-3 would show interest in her. “No wonder, she’s kinda hot!”
You. Are. Dense! “Yeah, she is, but that wasn’t who I was thinking about.” Warmth that didn’t come because of the alcohol rose to her cheeks.
“Oh? Who was it then?” She couldn’t keep out a slight tone of hurt from her voice. She let out a sigh of relief as Neon sat down between the two, not sure how much longer she could’ve kept acting like she didn’t care who Octavia thought about.
“Hey, girls!” Neon half-shouted above the music. “How’s it going?! Been up to anything while I was gone?”
“Lyra thinks I was checking out the DJ. I told her no.”
“That’s a lie, and you know it, Octavia,” Neon said. He waved over the bartender and ordered a cocktail. “I mean, I know I’m hot-” Lyra snorted her recently ordered drink, “but that DJ… dayum! I know a looker when I see one, and I refuse to believe that even a mare would not check out somepony like her.”
Octavia sighed and leaned back, the back of her head hitting the counter with a slight ‘thump’. Why could they never just take her word for what it was? Why’d they always have to twist it? A faint smile played on her lips. Because that’s who they are, and it’s part of why I fell for both of them.
They sat and chatted amongst themselves for the next few minutes. None of them were busy with dancing or anything of the like. No, it was enough for them to simply be by each others’ sides and bask in their company.
After about twenty, or so, minutes of them chatting and drinking, the DJ announced that this would be her last song for the night, and another DJ would take over after her. The DJ’s horn flared to life, and a black vinyl floated up from somewhere behind the turntables.
“Alright, everypony! With this, I bid you goodnight! Be nice to my colleague, and DJ-PON3 is off!” She turned around and walked towards the back, exchanging a few brief words with one of the bouncers before disappearing behind the stage. A sky-blue pegasus stallion took her place behind the turntables shortly thereafter.
“I like that one,” Octavia said after a few moments of just listening to the track. “It’s slow, soothing, but still has that beat to it. What do you think, Lyra? Neon?”
“Catchy,” Lyra replied. She had closed her eyes and swayed gently bobbed her head in time with the beat.
“Not quite my style. It’s good, but I prefer something with a heavier bass. Much like the monster drop she unleashed about half an hour ago. It rocked the entire building. It was awesome!” He let out a loud, almost mad, cackle and leaned back in his chair. “I need to know how she did that. Maybe I can get backstage if I tell them who I am?” He lifted a hoof and scratched his chin in a contemplative manner.
“Speaking of which, why’s that bouncer looking at us?” Lyra asked, nervously looking at the approaching unicorn stallion.
“More like, ‘why’s he walking towards us’.” Octavia glanced about; there weren’t many other ponies sitting at this part of the bar at the moment. The majority of them were out on the dancefloor, waiting for the new DJ. That alone, and the bouncer staring right at them as he got closer, clearly showed who he was walking towards.
He finally reached them and stood towering over all three of them. He was huge. Octavia could’ve sworn she heard Neon gulp even through the loud music.
“DJ-PON3 has invited the three of you backstage. Please follow me.” He turned around and started a brisk trot through the crowd. Everypony stepped aside for him, obviously not wanting to get on the bad side of this behemoth of a pony. The trio followed after exchanging a few brief, confused glances.
Lyra, Octavia, and Neon Lights stepped through the door that the bouncer held open for them and heard it click shut behind them.
They looked around, marvelling at just how well made the place was. A carpet decorated with complicated patterns and symbols stretched from wall to wall, covering the entire floor with what could only be described as concentrated softness. There was barely any sound from their hoof falls, but that wasn’t the best part of it all. Right in front of them were two three-pony couches, two chairs, and a large coffee table standing in the middle of it all. One couch was pressed up against the right wall, the other in the far end of the room. The two chairs were placed adjacent to each other opposite the first couch, the nearest on with its back turned to them.
On the left wall dominated a large fireplace with artificial fire, presumably magical, that lent the room a cozy, ambient lighting. There were even a few shelves with golden vinyls and other prizes. Who had won them was a mystery.
Beside the couch, to the direct right of the door they stepped through, was another door.
“So, the three of you done staring?” A feminine, yet slightly scratchy, female voice asked.
They all jumped and immediately pinned the nearest chair with the combined power of their gazes. The chair slowly started moving, turning around until it faced them. The occupant, a white coated unicorn with a two-toned blue mane, looked up at them from it, grin plastered on her muzzle.
“I have been expecting you,” she said, her grin never wavering the slightest.
“Okay that,” Neon said, rubbing the bridge of his nose with a hoof, “was possibly the most cliché thing you could have come up with. I mean, seriously?! That’s the worst of the worst, Miss Scratch!”
“And they loved it,” she pointed out, gesturing at the other two mares fighting to hold back their snickers. “That, or they like to see you trying to act smart.” She scratched her head thoughtfully. “Or perhaps they just find it funny that you try at all. I wouldn’t know.” She shrugged and stood up, flashing them all that smirk of hers. Any more facial expression was hidden behind the purple lenses she wore.
“So… If I may ask, Miss Scratch-”
Vinyl raised a hoof, asking Lyra to stop speaking for just a moment. “Vinyl. Just Vinyl, please. ‘Miss’ makes me feel older than I already am.”
“Right, Vinyl, then. I just want to ask, why have you brought us here? It’s a really nice place and all, but we’re just three ponies out for a night of fun. Getting invited back here is quite a surprise.” Octavia and Neon nodded their agreement.
“To help you,” she answered with a lopsided grin. “The three of you,” she swept a hoof in front of herself, motioning at all three ponies, “are in a bit of a predicament, and I want to help you with it. Solve your problems, unscrew the lid, loosen the knot, that kinda stuff… I’m not even sure if my analogies made any sense, but you get the idea. You have a problem, and I want to help.” While she was talking, she’d started to walk around them, looking them up and down as she did.
She decided that what she’d seen before from behind the turntables was spot on. The green one was hot, the grey one was somewhat plain, but gorgeous, and then there was the stallion. He was good enough looking, for a guy. He was well enough toned, obviously somepony who know how to take care of their body, but he wasn’t all that interesting.
“Pardon me, Vinyl, but I am quite sure you’re in the wrong. We, or I at least, have no problems to speak of.” Octavia tried to follow Vinyl with her eyes as she walked around them, preferring not to move too much in the presence of this… this mare that seemed more like a predator than anything: A predator circling its prey. “But regardless of whether or not we have any problems I don’t think it’s your-”
Vinyl made her way up beside Octavia and leaned in until her mouth was right next to her hear. “Which one?”
Those two words were enough to cause her to freeze and stare wide-eyed into nothing. Slowly, she turned to Vinyl who had stopped circling them and was now standing in front of her with that infuriating grin on her face. “What did you say?”
“Which one?” Vinyl replied, this time loud enough for the other two to hear. She gestured at Lyra and Neon. She turned to Lyra and Neon, grinning at them the same way. “I could ask you that, too. Which one?”
All three of them now stood and shuffled uncomfortably, none of them really sure how to react. What’s more, none of them seemed aware of the others. It seemed as if they were all shut off from the other two, unaware of what their reactions meant.
“H-How’d you know?” Octavia’s ears lay down against her head, her cheeks taking on a slightly pink hue.
“I saw the three of you. You were fairly easy to read.”
“Huh?” Three voices said in tandem.
“Yeah, I mean, you were glancing at each other all the time. All of you were looking as if you hoped the other two to fall into your hooves the next second. How could you have been more obvious?”
It still seemed as if the three friends were unaware of each other. They didn’t glance at each other, didn’t try to ask the other two if what Vinyl said was true, if they really had been glancing at each other ‘as if they was going to fall into their hooves’.
“Look, Vinyl, I don’t know what you think you know, but you know nothing!” Neon Light exclaimed, snorting. “I don’t care what kind of pony you are, but you don’t know jack about who I’-”
Vinyl absent mindedly scratched her side with a hoof. “Twenty seconds ago you were imagining the green one-”
“Lyra.”
“Falling into your hooves and embracing you while the grey one-”
“Octavia.”
“Is swooning across your back, batting her eyelashes at you and holding a hoof to her forehead. Then you imagine yourself making out with Lyra while Octavia caresses your body. Am I right?”
Neon’s jaw would have hit the floor if either Discord had been nearby or he had been in a cartoon. So surprised was he that his mouth hang open in stunned surprise. “How, to fucking Faust above, did you know that?”
“Well… I’m not exactly a normal pony. Things regarding intimacy is something I’m quite good at, for one.”
“Intimacy?”
“Horizontal tango? War of the Thighs? Licking slash Pounding the flower? That kinda stuff?”
Heat spread across Neon’s cheeks, painting them a bright red underneath his fur. “Oh… Sex.”
“Yup!”
“So… Seriously, how the hell did you know?”
The sound of Vinyl’s hoof connecting to her chin in a series of small taps seemed to shake the other two ponies out of whatever stupor they had been in. They both glanced at the other two briefly before returning their attention to the bespeckled unicorn.
“Y’know, it’d be easier to show you. Oh! And Neon?”
“Yes?”
Her horn flared a light red and took of Neon’s shades. “If I’m not wearing shades in here, then you’re not.”
“But you’re still wea-”
“Not anymore!” Vinyl’s own shades were lifted in her red aura and levitated over to the coffee table with Neon’s. She blinked a few times to adjust her eyes to the new light level.
Lyra, especially, stood with her mouth in a perfect ‘O’, staring without shame at Vinyl’s now revealed eyes. “They’re red!”
“Part of the package, dear,” she chuckled.
“What package?”
“This one!” She closed her eyes and scrunched her entire face up in concentration.
While her facial expression was a somewhat comical one that was not the centre of attention at present time. No. Octavia, Lyra and Neon’s attention were at the sides of her body. Within seconds they had bulged out and made it look like she was pregnant, and they would have almost believed it had it not been for the lack of her belly expanding downwards.
Her sides continued to bulge as if something inside was fighting to get out of her body. Something big, that was for sure, something that was unnatural.
With a loud tearing sound her sides seemed to burst, but no blood or gore welled out. Instead, a pair of raven-black, webbed wings extended from her sides, attached to her just beneath the shoulder blades. They made a single flap before folding and settling at her sides.
“Aah! That’s nice. They’ve been tucked away for so long I had almost forgotten how it felt to have them out!”
“Y-Y-You have w-w-WINGS?!” Whatever composure Octavia had was now gone. “How?” She asked timidly as she cautiously made her way closer to inspect the appendages.
“Of course I do,” she said, watching Octavia as she got closer. She even smiled and extended one of her wings to give them a better look at it, especially Octavia. “All Succubi and Incubi have wings like these.”
“SUCCUBUS?!” The shout from all three voices, one very close to Vinyl’s ear, was loud enough to be heard by the bouncers, she was sure. Lucky the room was muffled, so little sound got in or out.
“Yup!” She pushed her chest out and folded her wing at her side, head held high in pride. “I am! And damn good at it, if I do say so myself.”
“Okay…” It was Lyra this time. “And that means what, exactly?”
“That I want you three to follow me.” She turned towards the door on the right side of the room, opened it and shot a look over her shoulder. “Come on!” She stepped through, the others following.
There wasn’t much in the other room. There was a single large cupboard on the far side of the room, a massive amount of pillows in the middle of the room, and two loveseats on either side of the pool of pillows. A large chandelier hang in the middle, its many candles shedding light on everything inside.
The three guests looked around, taking it all in with both curiosity and hesitation. The looks on their faces clearly showed that they didn’t know what to expect, and were a little afraid to find out.
It wasn’t like anypony could blame them; Vinyl had suddenly sprouted a pair of wings - and not just any pair of wings, but a pair of webbed wings like those of a Thestral. What’s more she had revealed herself to be a succubus. The blood red eyes didn’t much help either. Sure, ponies came in a wide variety of colours, but blood red was one of the colours that you never saw unless someone was albino, and Vinyl bore no signs of being one. A white coat was perfectly normal, and her mane and tail bore no signs of dye.
“So…” Neon began, gulping once, “what do you want to do in here?”
Vinyl turned around and looked at him with a deadpan stare. “Duh. I’m a succubus. What do our kind do?” She shook her head and smirked. “I brought you here to fuck you three silly.”
A few seconds ticked by before Vinyl realised just what she had said. Her hoof promptly met her face, colliding with a ‘smack’ sound.
Before either of the three could really react - they had all been staring dumbfounded at her - she walked over to, first Neon, then Lyra and, finally, Octavia.
“I. Didn’t. Say that,” she said, hitting each of them one the head once before they could react. They had all been dumbstruck by how bluntly she had stated her intentions, so getting close enough to hit them, and then doing so, wasn’t very difficult. Stationary objects usually didn’t move very fast, after all.
Neon and the other two mares rubbed their heads where they had been hit. Vinyl had returned to where she stood before.
“Oow… Why does my head suddenly hurt?” Neon complained.
“You all fell on the way inside. Don’t ask me why. You’re clumsy.”
“Huh… Okay, so what is it you want to do in here?” he continued.
“I want to help you.”
“With what?” Lyra chimed in. She was walking around the room, inspecting the pillows and whatever else of interest that might be in here. Even so, her ears were turned towards the others, not wanting to miss what they said.
“Yourself,” came the answer. I’m not sure ‘my’ kind of help is exactly what they want without a little persuasion. She reached within herself and, with a flex of her will, sent a portion of her being out into the room, covering everything in a little bit of herself. It wasn’t mind control by any means, it was more a sort of aphrodisiac. A powerful one. She was a succubus, after all, and it wouldn’t do to only do a half job.
There was already a slight blush on their cheeks.
“What do you mean, ‘yourselves’?” Octavia asked, flicking her tail in slight irritation.
“I mean,” Vinyl said and began trotting towards the pillows, and then around the. Octavia and Neon followed for a while, but stopped when they reached the pillows. “That I’ve seen how you three act around each other.” She smirked and looked straight at them. “Do I really need to repeat myself? I told you earlier that I could easily see how much you wanted each other.”
“Huh?” All three were turned to her - Lyra having returned to her two friends.
A soft smile replaced the smirk that Vinyl had adorned until now. “You’re in love with each other, all three of you.”
Octavia and Neon looked at each other, eyes wide and almost disbelieving. Octavia then looked to Lyra, and found herself face to face with Lyra. Both gulped, though neither moved. Seconds that felt like hours ticked by until, finally, Lyra started to move again. Slowly, ever so slowly, she moved forwards and let her eyes flutter closed and pressed her lips to Octavia’s.
It was, for lack of better words, glorious. Octavia didn’t move, she just stood there like a statue, marvelling at the feeling of Lyra’s soft lips against hers. She couldn’t move, didn’t want to; all she wanted in that moment was for that feeling to last forever.
Lyra slowly pulled away and was met with the shocked and pleasantly surprised face of Octavia. “S-Sorry… But I-I… I got caught up in the moment, sorry.” She fidgeted in place, tail flicking from side to side in embarrassment and a little bit of arousal, though she didn’t want to admit the latter.
Her head hung and her eyes were clenched shut, not wanting to meet Octavia’s gaze. Well… There goes any chance of popping the question graciously. Here’s hoping she won’t think I’m an idiot or someth- “Hmmph!” Her eyes shot open and all she saw was Octavia. But even the sight of that beautiful mare so close did nothing to distract her from the feeling of said mare’s lips on her own; In fact, it only made her more aware of what was happening.
Sh-She-She… Screw it! Stop thinking and do something!Ecstatic at this development, she closed her eyes and returned the kiss.
“That’s not fair,” Neon mumbled from only a metre, or so, away. He was envious, and with good reasons. Both his crushes, and beautiful mares to boot, were currently engaged in possibly the most emotion-filled kiss he had ever seen, and even though he knew - or hoped, since he couldn’t be entirely sure as to whether or not Vinyl’s claim was true - that they were in love with him as well, he couldn’t help but feel a little envious.
“I want a kiss too.”
“I can arrange for that to happen,” Vinyl replied, walking closer with a small grin on her lips. “All you have to do is say it.”
“I… I’m not sure. You’re a succubus, a weird creature that I’ve only heard of it stories. You do nasty things to stallions, or so the stories claim. I’m not sure kissing you would be a good idea.”
“But you still want to.”
Neon looked down, his hooves suddenly very interesting. He couldn’t deny it; Vinyl was attractive, to say otherwise would be a lie, and a big one. She was just plush enough that her curves were enhanced to be soft without any excess. There was, he was sure, several stallions in the crowd outside these rooms that would kill to get the chance to so much as touch her; and here he was, with the offer of kissing her.
“To Tartarus with it, yes, I want to. How you can figure it out I’ll probably never know, but I want to.”
Vinyl smirked and stepped closer, eyes gleaming with mischievousness. She stopped in front of him and leaned in closer, eyes closing as her lips puckered ever so slightly.
He was caught off-guard by how fast it all went. One moment she was moving forward slowly and the next she had pressed her lips firmly against his. She was hot, both figuratively and literally; the warmth of her lips and the subtle way they moved about his proved too much for any resistance he had built up. Wrapping both front legs around her neck he pushed harder into it. He parted his lips and let his tongue dart forward. Vinyl did the same and allowed him access to her mouth and, as she did, showed him what a succubus could do.
She pulled away not long after, smiling at him as she drew a line down his cheek with the soft tip of her leathery wing.
“That wasn’t so bad, was it?” She asked sweetly.
“No… It wasn’t. In fact, it was amazi-wait… What’s happening?” He cocked an eyebrow and lifted a hoof to scratch at his mane. It felt… odd, almost as if something inside him was trying to get out.
It was then that he caught sight of it out the corner of his eyes; something he normally couldn’t. What’s more, he felt his tail grow up as well, becoming long enough to just scrape across the floor. His mane had stopped growing once it reached just past his shoulder.
He stood and stared blankly at Vinyl, the mare just grinning, as he felt more of his body start to get tingly.
His haunches widened, the bone structure changing to become wider, just as his waist narrowed slightly. A portion of the muscle he had built in his flanks softened, adding a soft layer of plush around his widened hip bones. He felt himself shorten, coming to eye level with Vinyl as opposed to being a few centimetres taller than her, as well as his face becoming smoother, less blocky and more rounded. With his reduction in height came the sensation of more of his muscles softening to become a layer of soft flesh, giving him a curvaceous figure that many a mare would kill for.
Following this came a powerful tingling sensation on his forehead back followed closely after. One too powerful to simply ignore. Not knowing what else to do, he reached a hoof on to his forehead; there was nothing. He then chanced a glance behind him, and what he saw was more than he could comprehend. On his back was now a pair of feathery wings the same colour as his coat. But even that wasn’t the worst. No, the worst was the realisation of what was happening.
Slowly, and very hesitantly, he lifted a hoof and brought it beneath him, slowly trailing it down his barrel until it came to the place between his legs.
His eyes became wide as saucers and his mouth opened and transformed his face into what could only be described as horror.
“WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!” she screamed, her voice several tones higher than it had been just a minute prior.
On the sideline, Lyra and Octavia had stepped away from each other and were now watching Vinyl and Neon with interesting. Well, Octavia was watching with interest while Lyra was holding a hoof to her mouth and, if the muted snickers were of any indication, trying not to laugh.
Neon, in the other hand, was staring at Vinyl in a way that demanded an answer.
“I made you into a mare,” she replied.
“Why?!”
“...I don’t like stallions all that much, but I didn’t want to let that get in the way of helping you three.”
“And this is your way of helping me?”
“You’re hot.”
“I-what?” He turned to look at Lyra and Octavia, the former of the two pointing a hoof at Neon.
“I said you’re hot,” Lyra replied. Octavia nodded her agreement. “Seriously, as a stallion you’re good looking, but now…” she trotted closer, circling the former stallion. “Just… look at you! Damn!”
“I have to agree.” Octavia trotted closer as well, inspecting Neon closely. There was the tiniest bit of drool hanging from the corner of her lips. “You look… amazing. I almost wish I had your body.” She quickly turned to Vinyl and raised a hoof to interrupt any comments from her. “And no, I would prefer to stay as I am. Though I appreciate the offer.”
Vinyl lowered the hoof she had raised and closed her mouth. Her entire expression making her seem a little miffed. “Okay, then. The offer still stands… Though not for you Lyra, I’m afraid.”
Lyra whirled around. “What? Why not?!”
“Because I can’t do anything to improve on you,” the succubus stated simply.
“Oh…” Lyra’s cheeks lit a bright pink at the compliment, likely made more prominent by the aphrodisiac. “Thanks.”
“You’re welcome! ...Heh! They got at it fairly quickly!”
“Eh?” Lyra turned back to Neon and Octavia, only to see Neon standing stock still and Octavia’s lips planted firmly on hers, her front legs wrapped around his neck.
“She was quick to latch onto him,” Vinyl muttered.
“Yeah… She’s a bit of a pervert and, well, she just stumbled upon a hot piece of, well, you know. You’re the one that made him like that. Props for that, by the way, and how come I take that change in stride? He just swapped gender, for Celestia’s sake!”
“Well, first of, thank you for the compliment.” She trotted over and pulled Lyra into a side-way wing-hug. “Secondly, it’s because you love him - her. You love that pony, and you don’t care much whether or not Neon’s a mare or stallion, or even if she’d pegasus or unicorn.”
“There’s that too, how the fuck did you change her into a pegasus!”
“Magic~!” Vinyl sing-songed. “Also, wouldn’t you all agree that he fits the role of a maid much better now?”
Before either Lyra or Octavia could react, a loud “What?!” echoed through the room. Turning to Octavia and Neon, they could see the latter of the two staring in horror at the DJ.
“W-What are you t-talking about?”
The grin on Vinyl’s face was a terrifying mix of both mischievous and malicious. “Oh, y’know, I recognised you.” Neon’s face was almost as pale as Vinyl at this point. He gulped. “I once DJ’ed for a hentai-themed party, and I thought I had seen you back then. You cross-dressed as a french maid.” Vinyl looked between Octavia and Lyra. “Wouldn’t you say he fits the role much better now?”
The muttered “You’re evil” could barely be heard through the high-pitched laughter of both Lyra and Octavia.
“Y-You really cross-dressed as a french maid?” Lyra managed through her giggles. “T-That is too rich! Pfft-hahahahaha!”
“S-So how did it go with the bartender, then?” Octavia managed, trying and failing to stop herself from giggling.
“I hate you.”
“No you don’t. If how you acted just seconds ago when I kissed you are of any indication.” she raised an eyebrow and smiled suggestively. “Then you certainly don’t hate me.”
Neon sighed. “Maybe I don’t, but it… what you did. Argh!” She stomped a hoof and shook her head, her now longer mane flying all over the place. It took several snorts to get the hairs out of her nostrils. “Though, it isn’t that bad. I feel… sexy.” She shot a glance at Octavia.”Especially with how she reacted.” Neon sighed and couldn’t quite hold back the smile that threatened to burst forth.
In truth, she did feel sexy and didn’t find the change all that disturbing. Sure, it was a shock unlike anything she’d ever experienced before, and something she’d rather avoid ever trying again, but as it stood, it was a fun thing to try and experience everything from the opposite sex.
“If it’s any consolation, it’s only temporary. It won’t last forever.”
“How long will it last then?” Lyra piped in from the sidelines.
“Until this whole thing is over.”
“Until what’s over?” It was Octavia’s turn to speak up this time.
“This night.” Vinyl took a step closer to the cellist. “Where the three of you, four if you include me, will have a bit of fun.” She stepped even closer and brushed her leathery wing across Neon’s withers, eliciting a tiny yelp and caused her to stiffen. She was now face to face with the cellist. Red eyes peered into amethyst. Vinyl smiled, but all Octavia saw were those eyes.
She felt drawn to them, felt like she couldn’t look away even if she wanted to. She returned the smile and leaned just a little bit closer. “There’s something about you,” she whispered. “Something I can’t put my hoof on.”
“And do you need to? Is it not enough knowing that the ones you loved, loved you in turn?”
“Still… You seem lone-”
“Pfft. Look at them!” Vinyl snickered and motioned towards Neon and Lyra.
The latter of the two was mounting the other as best she could, nibbling at the Neon’s ear while she did her best to not fall off to the side. Neon, on the other hand, stood with beet red cheeks and a half open mouth, letting out tiny moans every now and then. “C-careful with the wings.”
“Hmph?” Lyra glanced down, only now noticing how her front hooves were massaging Neon’s new wings without her meaning to. She smirked around the tip of the unicorn-turned-pegasus’ ear, and then started massaging the sensitive limbs, watching with growing amusement as Neon kept getting redder and redder in the face, not to mention that she started flickering her tail more and more, and this wasn’t out of annoyance at its new length.
“Something the matter, dear?” Lyra asked teasingly, licking along the rim of the ear while doing her best to hit all the sensitive nerves on the wings. The fact that they were new additions to Neon’s body did nothing to lessen the pleasurable sensations; quite the opposite.
“Why does it f-feel wet down there?”
“That’s what we call arousal, love.” Octavia came up in front of the pegasus and put a hoof under her chin, lifting her head up to look her in the eyes. “And you’re not the only one here that is ‘a little wet’ down there.” She leaned forward and kissed Neon as softly as her own arousal would allow her to which, to be honest, wasn’t very much.
“Having fun?” Vinyl stepped around Octavia and came up beside Neon and Lyra, brushing a wing against the latter’s flank, lingering just a little longer than socially appropriate at her cutie mark.
“Uh-hm!” Lyra replied, deeply engrossed in trying to remember the anatomy of pegasi wings, and where they were most sensitive. She suddenly stiffened and let go of Neon’s ear and whipped her head to look at Vinyl, locking eyes with her.
Vinyl stood with her one wingtip beneath Lyra’s tail, smiling innocently up at her as she slowly moved it back and forth, eliciting tiny mewls and whimpers and caused Lyra to cease the massage on Neon’s wings altogether. She smirked and pressed a little harder with her wing, pushing almost hard enough to press past her folds which only caused Lyra’s whimpers to grow in volume.
“Feel good?”
“Yes,” she replied, blushing brightly. She gasped as the very tip of Vinyl’s wing brushed against her clitoris. “Oh, please don’t stop.”
The smile on the succubus’ lips widened; It wasn’t like she would stop with what she was doing. I’d be a terrible succubus then, wouldn’t I? She chuckled, lighting her horn as she reached for Octavia with her magic. She lifted her up off of the unicorn-turned-pegasus and placed her on a pile of pillows in the centre of the room.“I won’t,” she replied, pushing a hoof to Lyra’s chest, and gently pushed her backwards until she rested on her back.
Lyra watched curiously as she was lifted with magic, but she didn’t fight. It wasn’t so much because she felt she wouldn’t be able to defend herself, but more that she trusted Vinyl, for some inexplicable reason. Her golden eyes never left those red ones, and they never left hers either. That is, not until she started feeling kisses being placed on her jaw and down her neck, already trailing quickly down her chest and belly. She closed her eyes and sighed, relaxing on the pillows as she felt those magical lips go lower, and lower, and lower, and - “Ooh!” Screw horns, that tongue is magical!
Octavia had taken the dominant role, like Vinyl, and had pushed Neon down on her back and never once ceasing their exploration of each others’ mouths while their hooves ran across their respective bodies.
“I… This isn’t a dream is it?” Neon gently pushed Octavia away and disconnect from the kiss, giving the both of them the chance to breathe, something for which they were both grateful. “Because… You have no idea how long I’ve dreamt of this.” She smiled up at Octavia and received one in turn, though it quickly turned mischievous.
“Vinyl?”
The pony in question glanced over at Octavia and smiled, having pulled away for a moment before burying her muzzle in Lyra’s nethers again. Something that, if the heavy breathing and occasional whimper was of any indication, she was very grateful about.
“Have anything… fun?” She shot a quick, suggestive glance down at Neon, one she didn’t notice, and flashed a small grin.
Vinyl didn’t answer, but the way her eyes twinkled in delight showed that she had heard and understood. Her horn flared to life and from the drawer of the cupboard flew a neon blue, phallic object of medium size. Octavia caught it and held it between her and Neon, the latter’s eyes growing wide as the earth pony’s intentions became clear.
“That… Isn’t that thing… big?”
Octavia just smiled and brought it down between them, slowly rubbing its length against the both of them, lubricating it. “Not really.” She leaned down and placed a small kiss on her nose, then whispered in her ear. “Trust me, you’ll like it.”
Neon barely had any time to reply before her breath was taken away by the tip pressing against her folds. Just the feeling of it pressing lightly sent shivers of anticipation, and some fear, flowing through her system. It was with a mix of both delight and fear as she felt it press harder against and past her folds. Any and all squeals of pain or discomfort drowned when she felt those heavenly lips upon her own again. She moaned into the kiss as she felt the dildo push farther into her and spread her wide for the first time before it was slowly pulled out. Before she could make her displeasure of it being pulled out again known, she felt it being pushed in again with much more fervor, eliciting a squeak of delight.

Octavia tilted her head slightly to the side, smiling down at Neon - never once stopping the slow in and out motions. “For what?”

“So you’re telling me you like it?” Her face was the very definition of smug at that very moment, with a raised eyebrow and lopsided grin that managed to be both cocky and alluring.
Neon blushed and looked away, trying and failing to look defiant. She lasted all of three seconds before conceded. “I do, but… O-oh fuck it. Faster,” she blushed, screwing her eyes shot. “Faster please!”
Octavia complied, leaning down for yet another kiss as she started moving the toy faster, slowly increasing the rate at which she did it. She needed no more encouragement to keep going than what Neon’s moans and squeaks provided.
While Neon was fine with being the submissive one for the moment, it was not so with Lyra. Vinyl’s tongue felt like magic, but she didn’t just want to receive. So it was much to Vinyl’s surprise when she was suddenly lifted in mint-green magic and deposited on the pillows, Lyra’s nethers positioned right above her muzzle.
She reached up and grabbed Lyra’s haunches, pulling her down and burying her muzzle in her nethers. Her tongue ran over both outside and inside, flicking over the sensitive nub from time to time. To her delight, she felt Lyra do the same only seconds after. Even she couldn’t hold back the girlish and, frankly, adorable squeak that came from Lyra’s tongue dancing a magic dance in and around her most sensitive place.
Unlike Vinyl, Lyra used her tongue to probe past the folds and into the warm depths. She grabbed the lovely flanks on either side of her and squeezed, using the extra grip to help push herself deeper into Vinyl’s velvety embrace, which earned her pleased moans from Vinyl.
It wasn’t long before the need for a little change came to Lyra. Her horn flared to life and surrounded the base of Vinyl’s tail in her aura, pulling lightly. She was rewarded with a little squeak of surprise as the succubus drew her head away from Lyra’s nethers.
“Kinky,” Vinyl said, making gentle circles with her hoof on the golden lyre Cutie Mark.
Lyra smiled and pulled again which elicited yet another small squeak. She grinned and shut off her magic, stood up, and turned around. Now face to face with that unfairly attractive mare, she leaned down and pressed her lips to Vinyl’s, forcing a passionate kiss on her that was returned with equal fervor, wings and legs wrapping around her.
When they separated several moments later, Vinyl stood and helped Lyra up as well. Without uttering a word, she motioned towards the other pair. Her eyes twinkled with both delight and mischievousness as her magic was brought to life again, sending another item from the drawer soaring through the air.
Lyra grabbed it in her magic and brought it up for inspection. Her eyes bulged at the sheer size of it. It was a pure white, nearly as long as her leg and about half as thick. She shot an almost terrified look at the succubus before her eyes fell back to the monstrosity in front of her.
“That prim and proper lady there will love it, trust me.” Vinyl winked and reached a wing behind her, pushing her closer while also ‘accidentally’ brushing the tip against Lyra’s privates, causing her to yelp before stepping forward.
Neither of the two mares on the floor noticed her as she approached, not even as she stepped up behind Octavia and leaned forward. Only when she spoke was she noticed. “Hello, Tavi.”
Any answer she would have given was completely drowned by the loud shout that came from her then, a shout of both pain and raw, unbridled pleasure as the enormous toy penetrated and bore into her depths, splitting her wide. Her own ministrations on Neon seized and her legs shook making her fall to her knees.
The force with which it had been plunged into her was enough to cause even Vinyl to wince. That’s gotta hurt… But hot.
“Again.”
“Huh?” Lyra stood above Octavia, looking down at her worriedly.
“Do it again!”
Not daring to disobey, Lyra pulled it out until only the head remained, and then pushed it back into her, but without quite as much force as before. She had thought that her own moans were loud, but they were nothing compared to the ones coming from Octavia. She smiled and rolled her onto her back, laying down on top of her and capturing her lips as she continued working her magic.
Neon was left unattended for all but a second, Vinyl’s magic taking over where Octavia’s hoof had left off. She slid out the object inside of her and pushed it in hard, rocking Neon’s body with the thrust behind it.
“V-Vinyl?”
The pony in question stepped closer. “Yeah?”
“Got anything bigger? Something more… for two?”
“One second.”
She flapped her wings and flew over to the cupboard, digging through it and throwing aside various toys that she deemed unfit for the situation. Only a short time passed before she was back over Neon, her magic having never stopped pumping the toy into her. Now, however, she let it slide out entirely and deposited it away from them. Instead she brought a long, silicone ‘rod’ into view. It was a good bit thicker than the one that she had just discarded - just as Neon had asked.
Her ruby eyes gazed into Neon’s blue, a need present in them but one that was controlled. Her smirk widened for a fraction of a second before it was replaced by one of utter bliss. The rod slowly slid into her, parting her her lips delightfully. Once half of it was in, she placed herself atop Neon and used her magic to guide the other half into her.
For perhaps the first time the entire night, the stallion-turned-mare didn’t make any sound. Her mouth was open in a blissful, soundless moan. Her eyes were closed and both wings and legs were spread-eagle - and it had only just begun. Vinyl started moving, pulling herself back and then forward, pulling it out slightly before pushing in again while gradually increasing the force and speed of each thrust. This elicited a delighted squeal from the pegasus, something which only encouraged Vinyl to move faster and harder.
Vinyl couldn’t help but chuckle. “Like it?”
Neon, not much for prolonged debates at the moment, answered with a response worthy of the greatest poets. “S-shut up and… do me.”
Don’t need to tell me twice. Had it not been for the high pitched and lust filled shout that came from behind them she would have rocked Neon’s world, but as it was her attention was drawn to the panting and dazed form of Octavia, with an equally dazed Lyra on top of her, trailing kisses down her neck.
Chuckling, she turned her attention back to Neon, mirroring what Lyra was doing to the cellist, but never once stopped the grinding and gyrating of her hips.
She was about to bring her wings into use when, suddenly, she felt something wet on them. Glancing back she saw a certain grey mare bringing her tongue along the outer bone structure while shooting her the sauciest look she’d ever seen. She shuddered, her wings being far more sensitive than even that of a pegasus.
“O-hoh, got you there, didn’t she?” Lyra stepped up in front of her and looked at her with half-lidded eyes and a lit horn.
Vinyl was about to reply when there was a pressure between her legs. A quick glance revealed the same massive toy she had given to Lyra. Her eyes widened as she felt it press harder against her nether lips, already trying to push into her even with the dual toy already there.
Her eyes scrunched shut as she was forced apart, the thing trying in vain to push into her. She knew they weren’t gonna stop so she did what she could. She quickly took a hold of the double-toy and pulled it out, allowing for the other one to take its place. Even as it was forced into her, she didn’t cease her ministrations on Neon. Not even the admittedly wonderful work Octavia did on her wings stopped her, though she was now forced to use magic rather than her own hips..
She was a panting, sweating mess within a minute of Octavia and Lyra starting on her. Her wings were her weak spot, and she had a feeling that Octavia had been close-up with pegasi before. That, coupled with the two large objects spearing her, left her quivering in pleasure. She was rolled onto her back and found Octavia’s hindquarters hovering above her face and immediately went to work; dragging down her hindquarters and starting to probe and lick, burrowing deep and seeking out every sensitive spot she could find. The squeal that followed when her tongue pressed against a small bump inside her canal proved that she’d found the spot.
While Lyra continued to use her magic to pound the toy in and out of Vinyl, she went over to Neon and rested on top of him, locking their lips in a kiss even as she brought a hoof down to the pegasus’ privates. She was rewarded with some moans muffled by her own lips, almost drowned out by Octavia’s squeals, but even then she could see the almost longing look directed at Vinyl - specifically the lower part of her body.
Realising what it was that Neon wanted, she split her focus and took the long silicone double from where Vinyl had left it and instead let it slide back into Neon. The sigh of satisfaction that followed was cut short when the force behind it was suddenly multiplied, thrusting hard and fast, a throaty moan taking its place.
It was difficult to maintain two different paces, so Neon ended up with roughly the same treatment as Vinyl, which was, to say the least, rough. While Vinyl received the most brutal treatment thanks to the sheer size of the object penetrating her, it affected the other mare far more. Having only ever been female for a good half hour meant that all the sensations she experienced were new and had therefore far more weight behind them.
“D-Don’t - ah - sto-op.”
Lyra leaned down and bit lightly in the tip of her ear, whispering as seductively as she could. “I.” She forced more magic behind a single thrust, rocking both DJ’s worlds, timing it as she finished her promise. “Won’t.”
Neon didn’t even hear the last word. Her entire body was overloaded with sensation; everything from the feeling of being penetrated to the feeling of it sliding in and out, to the feeling of one of the mares she loved the most trailing kisses, licks and love bites all over her body. As she felt her entire body getting pushed by the force of the thrust her mouth opened as if in a scream, but no sound came out. A fire was building where embers had glowed for the past several minutes, growing hotter by the second. She knew she was close, it was only a matter of time.
Opening her eyes she looked straight into the golden orbs that were Lyra’s and wrapped both her front legs around her neck, pulling her down into a kiss, not of lust, but of love - her new wings wrapping themselves around Lyra almost of their own accord. The pounding didn’t stop and the fire continued to build until, finally, it exploded. Her entire body felt like it stiffened for just a brief moment before every muscle seemed to spasm as bliss overloaded her body.
It took several seconds before the spasms stopped, but when they did both her legs and wings fell to the side. She was left panting and sweating, but smiling widely.
“That… Was fanta-”
The loudest moan so far echoed through the room, silencing everyone as their gazes were drawn to the white coated succubus. She was panting heavily with her eyes closed, chest falling and rising rapidly as the orgasm wore off. Above her stood Octavia, legs shaking as she herself seemed to have been drained of all energy.
Lyra cut off her magic and let the toys slide out of both Vinyl and Neon. Looking down she caught Neon’s eyes and smiled, kissing her quickly before stopping off of her and settling down on some of the pillows.
“Good heavens, Lyra,” Vinyl said breathily, having rolled out from under Octavia and onto her belly. “You know how to handle that thing.” A tired but happy smile took its place on her muzzle.
“Thanks… Had some practice.”
“I believe that.” Neon’s hoof was raised as she spoke, falling back to the floor once finished.
Octavia groaned and went over to a pillow herself, sitting down on it as gracefully as she could. The awkward gait she walked with made Lyra snicker.
The lyrist tilted her head to the side, smiling knowingly. “You liked it too, Tavi?”
“What if I tell you that I sound like a harpy when I am done good?”
Neon snickered. “‘Harpy’.”
One of Octavia’s eyebrows rose, her purple eyes narrow slightly as her smile turned mischievous. “You want to try it yourself?”
One glance at the monstrous toys was enough to make Neon consider stopping her teasing and jokes all together. She gulped and looked at Octavia and chuckled sheepishly. “Please no.”
“What? You scared, Limelights?”
One of the pegasus’ eyebrows rose, her face a mask of confusion. “‘Limelights’?”
The succubus grunted as she stood up on legs bereft of energy. “Yeah, ‘Limelights’. Neon Lights is a bit too masculine, and you kinda need a name for when you’re female. Don’t you?” She smiled and grabbed all the discarded toys and floated them over to the cupboard. “I don’t know about you, but I think it’d be a bit difficult to explain why ‘Neon Lights’ turned into a mare, and a pegasus no less.”
“She’s got a point.” Octavia, too, had stood up, and walked over to ‘Limelights’ and settled down beside her, nuzzling her briefly as Lyra did the same, sitting on the opposite side. “It would be awfully difficult to explain.”
“So… Does that mean that I’ll stay a mare?” Limelights looked almost horrified at the fought, eyes wide and ears splayed back with her mouth open just the slightest bit.
Vinyl shook her head. “No, it’s just momentarily. You should return to normal by tomorrow morning… but until then, how did you like it?”
Limelights gulped as she felt those ruby eyes lock her in place. The devilish grin or the politely interested looks from either side did not to help either. “It umm… It was… nice?”
“You’re not fooling anypony,” Lyra said, biting lightly on Limelight’s ear, making her squeak and blush in delight. “You loved it.”
An embarrassed nod was the only response they got, the pegasus too busy staring abashedly at the floor. She was saved from further inquiries by Octavia posing a question to Vinyl.
“Something I can’t help but wonder,” she said, “is how you managed to get us all so… riled up, I suppose? We were all attracted to each other, if your words and our actions here are of any indication, but I find it a little strange that we so openly had sex with each other.”
“Ah… that. Right. Well, it’s easy to answer, really. I put you all in heat.” She was met with only dumbfounded stares. “Heat, y’know? Baby-making period? That, yes. Let me explain a bit about what succubi like me can do. First of all, we can basically make a pony horny with but a thought, but the ‘victim’ needs to be at least a little willing before we can do so. That was how I got you three going; there was so much sexual tension between the three of you that it was easy as pie.”
“Being so attuned to sexual things, I am also capable of sensing your thoughts when they deviate towards things of sexual nature. That was how I,” she nodded to Limelights, “knew what you were imagining.” A chorus of understanding noises came as a reply.
“And your wings? How’d you hide them?”
Vinyl blinked, a little surprised by Lyra’s question. “Oh! That’s a sort of glamour. I can alter my appearance a bit, and hiding them falls under that. It’s itchy as Tartarus, though. How I changed Limelight’s gender and race is something along those lines as well, but much more powerful and only really usable on others, and only usable once.”
“So you’re saying that you can only change someone once, and you used it on me?”
Vinyl nodded. “And it was a hell of an experience, wasn’t it?”
Limelights could only nod.
Any further conversation was cut short as an explosive yawn came from Lyra. “Sorry, I’m a bit tired.” She stood up, shaking her legs one after the other in an effort to get the blood flowing again. “I’d like to help clean up, but… I’m tired, and I think my friends are too.” They nodded. “So if it’s okay with you, we’ll take our leave and-” she stopped suddenly, ears perking as if she’d just had a brilliant idea. “Excuse me a moment, Vinyl.” She then leaned close to Limelight’s ear and whispered something, then waited for Limelights to whisper the same thing to Octavia. The pegasus and earth pony both nodded, smiling at Lyra.
As one, the three of them stood up and stepped over to Vinyl. Each of them leaned forward and planted a kiss, one on each cheek by Lyra and Octavia, and Limelights full on her lips.
Vinyl could only blink as they took a step back; three beautiful mares looking at her, each with a smile on their lips. “Woah, thanks.” She chuckled and shuffled her leathery wings in an almost embarrassed way. “Anywho, I don’t mind cleaning up alone. It won’t take a minute.” She smiled and raised a hoof in a mix of a salute and a wave. “I’ll see you at some point, and thank only yourselves for tonight.” Good luck, gals. You deserve each other.
It had been a little over two weeks since that fateful night when the three roommates realised their affection for each other. Those ten days had been filled with joy, laughter, and more cuddling and kisses than was strictly necessary. All in all, it had been a wonderful time and Neon knew that it would only get better.
He had woken up the next morning and found himself a stallion again, something he was so pleased about that he all but kissed his own reflection in the mirror.
He strolled down the late night streets of Canterlot, heading home to his two gorgeous fillyfriends after a successful performance at the Demon’s Lair; Vinyl had apparently pulled some strings and set him up for a gig that night.
Everything was wonderful, he thought. The air was chill and crisp, his fillyfriends were waiting for him at home - having promised to wait up for him - the gig would pay a lot, and the full moon was bright and round.
As he looked up at the moon he felt a strange tingling through his entire body. At first he thought nothing of it, but as he continued to stare at Luna’s moon he found himself feeling strange, very strange, and it wasn’t a strange that he didn’t know about. No, it was strange that he had felt once before, and something he had hoped never to experience again.
Gulping he craned his neck and looked across his back, watching as his tail grew visibly longer and a pair of wings seemed to extend from his back. Where his height decreased, so did the width and plumbness of his rear increase.
“Glad we found a name for you now, eh, Limelights?”
Neon Lights, now Limelights, looked back in front of her and saw Vinyl leaning up against a lamp post not far away from him with a wide, lop-sided grin plastered on her face and her eyes hidden behind those purple lenses.
“What. Did you. Do?” Limelights took a threatening step closer, ears splayed back and eyes narrowed.
“Me? Nothing.” Vinyl chuckled. “Lemme explain a few things. I can only transform somepony once, but it becomes a permanent thing.”
“What?”
“You, essentially, become a mare every full moon.”
“So it only lasts a few hours?” She seemed almost happy about that, anger evaporating into a restrained relief.
“No. It’s a little different. See, it lasts for quite a bit longer. One moon cycle, to be exact… you’ll be a mare for a month, then a stallion for a month - rinse and repeat.”
“...You’re kidding me.”
“Actually, yes, I am.” She flashed him a grin, a very infuriating one at that. “You see, you can become either male or female permanently.”
“Vinyl?”
Vinyl blinked behind her glasses and looked Limelights in the eyes. She put a cheeky and faux-innocent smile on her lips. “Yes, Limelights?”
Limelights took a step forward, blue eyes locked onto those purple shades and the eyes behind them. “Tell me. Now.”
“Hmm,” Vinyl tapped her chin with a hoof, then shook her head. “Nah.”
“I’m warning you,” she practically growled, spreading her wings and baring her teeth. “Change. Me. Back!”
“Nope! You’ll have to stay like that for the next month, then maybe I’ll consider it.”
The sight pegasus in question standing with her wings spread as wide as they could, narrowed eyes and one hoof pawing at the ground made even Vinyl reconsider for a moment - but only for a moment.
She turned around and ran, leaving Limelights standing dumbfounded for a few seconds before what had just happened caught up with her.
When she finally realised what had happened, she sprang into a gallop and sprinted forward, charging after the succubus while shouting as loud as her lungs would allow her. “GET BACK HERE!”
Vinyl continued to run away from the raging mare, a gleeful and highly amused glint in her eyes as her laughter rang clear in the night.

After three, or so, months since I promised to write this for Skeeter, it is finally done and over with. That is not to say that I'm glad I don't have to think about it anymore, but more that I'm happy to finally be able to fulfil that promise I made so many weeks ago... and to think it all started with a joke on my part, eh?
That being said, I dearly hope that this lives up to the standard I set with Magical Callgirl. This story contains twice the number of characters, and it was not easy, but it was a fun challenge. Now, however, I will retire to my lair and typewriter from the 1960's and write out what exactly happened to Clover the Clever.
