Light Runner

"Okay, try to levitate the feather."

I am sitting in a chair, some kind of machines connected to my body and head. I concentrate with full concentration to levitate the feather, but after a minute I sigh. "The machine does notice something unnatural in your head when trying to use magic. However not strong enough to actually work. Something in your head is blocking you from it. Something that got rid of both times you almost got killed and yesterday. What I try to do is, that you learn it to control. The question is however, what exactly blocks your mind from your magic ..."

She puts the stuff from me, sighing. "Your magic is powerful. It can be a great help... or our biggest doom."

"I know, just ... I don't know how." She nods to me. "Mayby the princess knows more. AJ wanted your help, you can go for now."

"No guarding me?" Spike waves to him. "Got it."

The walk trip to Applejack was very uncomfortable. The ponies are still nervous about all the things I did. Applejack waits already by some apple trees. "Ah hope ya hindhooves still buckin' good, Light."

"I hope too." She nods, leading me to some trees. "Not much of work today, just 10 of 'em."

"Let me guess, I do all of them?" She chuckles. "Nah. Equal five for each."

I nod and start bucking the first tree, managing some apples to fall in the busket. Spike leaned against an empty apple tree, watching. When I finished number 2 of 5, AJ already joined Spike, watching over me. Confused I look to her trees, only to see she's done already. I let out a loud groan, but surprised at how loud it actually sounded. "Light, watch out!"

Confused I turned around, only to get painfully hitted on my cheek, crashing against one of the full apple trees. Everything is bucking blurry, owww...

I hear screams and growls, but can't understand what exactly they are saying. I slowly stand up, but get thrown, by an orange blurr, to the ground, before hearing something crashing nearby. I shake my head to shake the doze off. Blinking few times I look directly in a wooden creature, face to face. TIMBERWOLVES!

It roars loud at me, before his face is getting kicked by Applejack. She then grabs a stone, but get smacked away from the Timberwolve. She crashes against a tree and then doesn't move. "AJ?! Spike?!"

Looking for the little dragon, I see him uncouncious hanging on a branch of one tree. Before beeing able to do anything, I get thrown to the ground, the Timberwolve standing over me. It snaps at me but I grab both sides of the jaw, trying to give a bit more time keeping him away of making me food. I can see his maw's inside.Itry to keep it in distance but my hooves slowly getting limb, not able holding the jaw any longer. NO!

Giving more strength into it, it suddenly goes easier and easier, pressing it's jaw more and more open until-
CRACK!
The timberwolve jumps back from me, crying in pain before running away. As I look in my hooves I see myself holding the lower part of it's jaw. I blink in surprise, before running to Applejack, shaking her. "AJ?"

She groans, rubbing her head, before looking at me. She jumps in shock for a second, as she sees me holding the jaw under my own lower jaw, looking like, my lower jar is from the Thimberwolve. "H-How?"

"Magic. I feeled magic building up my hooves, breaking of it's jaw." She just looks stunned before chuckling. Istart chuckling too before hearing a voice nearby. "Uhm, guys? Somepony help me down?"

We chuckle more, AJ standing under the branch as I climb on her. "Come on pal, jump on my back."

Spike jumps on my back and then to the ground. "Hehe, looks like I *ride* a pony."

"As if that ever happened somewhere, shall Ah wear a saddle too?" We all three chuckling and I swear I hear a faint Pinkie chuckling and saying something about humans riding ponies. I shake my head, leaning against the tree. She sits down next to me. "Thanks."

"What are friends for?" She nods. "By the way, Ah got around town, managed to earn some ponies to let ya help 'em. Ah'll bethere to watch too, a chance building trust again."

"R-Really?" Before she could say something, I grab her into a big hug. "Thanky ..."

"How can a package be so heeeavvvyyy ..." My hooves are shaking and my back hurting, as I crawl my way trough Ponyville, on my back a big package that feels like 2 full grown Celestias sitting inside. I see my target tough, a building, a birthday party for some little colt called Rumble or something. I helped already a few ponies here and there, I doubt they trust me already. But since them it seems to be a better aura near me again.

I crawl trough the open door, collapsing finally. I push the package of my back. Everypony is looking at me, before the package comically explodes into confetti. "SURPRISE!"

Left behind was only Pinkie Pie ... HOW CAN SHE WEIGHT SO MUCH?!

Right ... she is just beeing Pinkie Pie.

AJ walks to me applauding. "Ya did great today."

"Thanky." I stretch myself, walking out to a tree nearby and leaning me on it. AJ follows me, leaning next to me. "Already tired?"

AJ looks at Light, but he doesn't seem to hear her anymore, directly fell asleep. AJsmiles, leaning on his body before drifting off herself ...

"Just 5 minutes, mom..." I shot my eyes open when I hear an explosion and screams. I was still leaning on the tree, but everything is burning. Ponies run around screaming in fear and pain,some running or rolling on the ground, burning alive. "What the-?"

I immediately stand up, running to the library that is still standing. I break trough the door only to wince at the sight of Twilightand Spike hanging dead on the ceiling, with the other elements. Turning back out guards standing there, already holding there spears. They make place for a shadow-formed pony approaching me. Red eyes glowing. Only as it stands right in front of me, I see who it is ... me.

Before doing anything else, it turns into a more mare-like shadow, wings and horn spreading out. "Keeeey, freee meeeee!"

I jump up, panting hard, only to realize that everything is like it should be in town ... just darker now. AJ looks at me worried. "Nightmare?"

It feeled so real ... dear Luna let it be a nightmare.

"Y-Yeah, terrible one..." I slowly calm down as a pony approaches us. It was Big MacIntosh. "Therewas a letter for ya."

AJ takes it, reading trough it. "It's cousin Braeburn. Want us visitting him."

I stand up, stretching myself. "Where does he live?"

"Appleoosa. Ya wanna come with us?" I nod. "Never was there before and I need a break from this town."

"Alright, Ah think in a half hour comes another train, should be there in da morning hours. Ya tell Twilight, Am here too watch over ya." I nod and make my way to the library. Twilight was still awake, so I told her. She just nodded before walking to bed.

A bit later we meet at the train station. "Where's your sis and granny?"

"Tomorrow's school again and somepony need to watch over ma sis." I nod. We then went into the train...

"Wake me up, if thou notice something suspicious." The batpony guards nod and salute to Princess Luna before she closes her bedroom door. The guards going there ways to guard around for the night. One of them is a experienced guard named Sharp Fang. It was his trick during the invasion of Canterlot, that no changeling found the night princess.

And still, the clueless guard next to him has no idea, that Sharp Fang is no more. Once the two are clearly alone in the gardens, hundreds of shadows overrun the poor newbie. Once hidden nearby and covered in green slime to not escape, the shadows salute to the other night guard, before said bursts in green flames, revealing Blood. "Stupid guards. We have the surprise effect on our side. Remember, I don't care what you do with anypony, just kill the princesses. This willl be the day, they shall fear me and us. And then Light better comes freely, because I won't stop until I got him or I die. My family and friends, you always stayed loyal to me, not all will survive today. But you all will be remembered. Chrysalis is a failure compared to me and once the ponies are history, we will continue with my mother's hive. Now go, show them who rules truly over Equestria!"

Loud cheering comes, before breaking apart to take out the princesses and everypony in the way. "Good..."

"Soooo, how ya doin', cousin?" We sitting on a table, eating all sorts of apple products. "Am fine, Brae."

She stands up, walking to the door, probably to get the newspaper. I was just going over a delicious applepie, as a loud scream appears. AJ runs back in, smashing the newspaper on the table. "We gotta go Light!"
