"Holy apples ..."

The train stopped hard, what cause all of us to hit the walls. I look outside, to see the bridge is collapse, making it impossible for any train to come and leave. But the heavier stuff lies beyond the bridge. Most buildings are burning, even parts of the castle. Ponies scream in terror. "Buck! Twilight, Rainbow, Flutters, Rising, help us get on the other side!"

The other elements, Rising and Star joined the train at Ponyville to help. The three pegasi took each one of us and flied them over while Twilight teleports the rest there, before joining again. "I bet my flank, that's Blood's doing."

"Why the changelings tough?" I shrug. "No idea, but hearing about that Chrysalis at the wedding, Iwouldn't be surprised if they work together."

"Chrysalis back and forth, she and her changelings didn't killed anypony back the-WATCH OUT!" Twilight pushes me away before blocking a green spell. A trio of changelings make then directly there attack. Twilight blasts them away easily, to my surprise however, the three don't look like they are still alive. Twilight's friends looking shocked. Fluttershy shivers hard. "D-Did you just-"

"If those buggers have to do anything with Blood, they don't deserve friendship. Also look around!" I start looking around to see her point. Several dead ponies laying around. "See? Let's get to the castle, find the princesses and get rid of this plague!"

We nervously nod and following Twilight. Some of Celestia's and Luna's guards fighting too, occasionally we get interrupted by few of the changelings. Twilight stayed merciless, killing every changeling in our way, while we just fight them uncouncious. Sooner or later we finally reach the main entrance of Canterlot Castle ... that is completly collapsed. Twilight however already flies trough a destroyed window nearby. Before we could think up how to follow we suddenly stand next to her in a hallway. Teleportation, I assume.

The inside of the castle doesn't look better then outside, wounded our dead guards, maids, teachers ... "What a massacre ..."

"Well look who finally joined the party." We all immediately turned around to see another changeling. She looked however not like just a drone. "Unfortunalty those two slutty princesses slipped away. They get what the deserve another day. Guess I care for you all then."

That voice ...

"Blood..." She looks at me, slowly applauding. "Wohoo, congrats, you got a point! Yeah, it's me, my real me. The stupid child of Chrysalis. What she failed, I do better myself. All this time I worked for idiots, no matter if my mother or that unicorn. But I will take this world and everypony shall suffer!"

Twilight's horn charges already, but I stopped her by asking more. "Why do you need me for this then?"

"Simple, your antic magic. They need this magic to make somepony return, a princess." Twilight immediately stops, her curiousity took over her lust for revenge. "A Princess?"

"Exactly." She immediately shoots at Twilight. Twilight looks surprised, but I manage to block the attack with a magic shield. Wait, how?!

"Looks like you got better with your magic, not bad. But useless. DIE PRINCES-ARGH!" A combined mix of golden and blue magic hits her, blowing her out of the castle. Shortly after Celestia and Luna landing next to them. "You all okay?"

"Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, thank Celestia you blow her into pieces." Celestia was just going to say something, when Luna interrupted. "She glowed green for a moment, protection spell."

I look immediately at the broken wall, no sign of her. "Darn it..."

"She got away?! GAH! I better hope the tracking spell works then. We will track her down and then-"

An explosion right next to us gets us all in surprise, catapultating us right of the castle. I manage to produce another shield, that helped us crashing safe enough to the ground. I immediately look up to the others. Star and Applejack where next to me whhen the explosion hit us and they look mostly fine, few scratches and burned fur, but alright. The others tough where closer to the explosion, looking more hurted. They all more or less stand up too tough, no death among us. Luna winces, seeing a changeling further away just blowing up with magic. "They kill themselves..."

I help AJ and Star up. Then I notice Twilight standing with pain written on her face. A hoof bends in the wrong angle and one of her wings seems damaged too. "MEDIC!"

"Appleoosa. Find her..." Twilight looks up too us from the bed. "You tree can make it,we are not in the, unghh ... condition to help."

"We will."

And here we are, me, Applejack and Black Star, alone on our way to Appleoosa, to end this once and for all. We sleeped trough most of the train ride, collecting energy. Well, mostly Star.

Applejack snuggles up on me. I look to her. "Uhh."

"A know with all the trouble right now, but it might be our last chance, who says we all get out alive?" I chuckle, kissing her cheek. "How long?"

"How long?" I nod. "Since when actually do you love me? Working with you in the farm?"

"Since I saw ya as a colt actually ..." I blink in surprise. "Why you never told me then?"

"A was too shy and then the whole thing with Star ..." I frown. "But know a think it's time to tell ya. Don't be mad."

"That must be it. According to Twilight, she must be here somewhere..." We three start looking around in the small village, but except for skulls and bones and dust, there was nothing. "Let me try something."

Star's horn glows, a magical wave surrounding the area. "There!"

She runs to ... sand. Seriou-

Her horn glows again, using it to open a trapdoor. "Ta-da!"

We both climb down the ladder until we reach ground. A few candles lighten the area. We keep walking until we come to a bridge. "Alright, I can feel it, we are close. Today we finish this business and stopping Blood once and for all."

And so we start passing the bridge to our destiny ...
