Even after most of Equestria had been populated by the new human visitors from another world, the city-state of Stalliongrad had closed its borders for years, in fear of a human revolution. Now the independent nation has finally opened its borders to Equestria, where both ponies and humans are eager to enter through the city gates.

My job as an immigration inspector is to control the tide of applicants entering into Stalliongrad, either denying or approving their entry with a mere stamp. Among the throngs of immigrants trying to enter the city, such as visitors and people looking for work, there are also hidden smugglers, spies and terrorists.

However, one of them is different. A human by the name of Jorji. Even while surrounded by such despair and misery, he is the only one who seems to be genuinely happy. Maybe there's something more to this human than just a stupid grin?

I 'm not keeping my hopes up, that's for sure.
