Power is Corrupt
Pinkamena
Previous ChapterNext Chapter“We are now landing in Goresville, South Equestria, prepare for landing, and we thank you for flying with South Equestria airline.” The sound of the intercom woke spike and Blackfield from their slumber.
Spike stretched and groaned, not being a big fan of waking up in a plane (or any place for that matter) turned up his music and took a sip of the energy drink sitting next to him, while Blackfield was all ready to go.
When they exited to the plane and walked into the station, they were surprised to see a girl with long, flat, pink hair, a black long-sleeved shirt with a picture of three balloons on the front, with one of her shoulders exposed as well as her bra strap, tight jeans with handcuffs connected to two of the belt loops, and black and red sneakers, holding up a sign with their names on it. Killestia never mentioned anything about an escort but they weren’t about to complain. Spike gave a questioning look to Blackfield but she shot him a glare and walked up to her.
“Hi there…. You are?” Blackfield asked the girl.
“Pinkamena Diane Pie" she responded. "I’ll be taking you to your new home here in Goresville”.
Blackfield thought about it, she was getting a bad vibe from her…. Oh well, free ride, right?
Spike and Blackfield walked over to what they assumed was her car. They could tell this girl has had some “special” passengers when they saw the blood stains in the back seat. They hesitated getting in, expecting some kind of trap to spring or a burst of knockout gas, but Pinkamena just started the car and drove off. Spike looked out the window to get a good look at his new home and with each bit of chaos, his heart sank a little more, he was most definitely going to die here. The car screeched to a stop and Pinkamena started swearing at some kids out the window. Blackfield took a look out her window to see who she was screaming at and saw four teenagers running across the street.
One had purplish messed up hair and was wearing an orange hoodie with a skull design on the hood, torn skinny jeans, black eye makeup that made it look like she was crying some kind of tar or other black gunk, and an AK-47 strapped to her back. Another had white and light purple looking hair, pale skin, and looked like she had gotten her outfit from the junk yard, with the entire thing being made up of cleaned off torn clothes, and a few bits of scrap metal on the leggings and sleeves. The last one was a red head that had a skull decorated bandana wrapped around her mouth, a leather jacket with a devil head decoration on the back that said “Ready To Burn”, a black and white checkered belt, baggy jeans, black combat boots, and fingerless leather gloves, and she seemed to be carrying a smoke grenade and a six-shot pistol.
Then finally, one ran across them that had red and orange striped hair, a tanktop that looked a little too small for her, some really baggy camo jeans. heavy work boots, and a loose belt. the jeans were so loose you could actually see her green underpants a little bit, but just the very top. she had a six shot revelor in one hand and what looked like a Blundergat strapped to her back.
The last one looked directly at Spike and mouthed what seemed to him like “welcome to hell”. Spike raised an eyebrow and wondered what they were up to. Blackfield suggested that they were probably just going to rob a convenience store or something like that. When they car stopped, pinkie unlocked their doors and introduced them to their new home. It looked pretty interesting, a tall building with probably about 10 stories to it. When they went inside, they discovered that half of the building was a library filled with incredible knowledge from even the greatest of scientists and authors, which pleased Blackfield incredibly, and for spike, there was a little hang-out spot for him on the roof.
The place seemed like a pretty good place to stay, so they unpacked and decided to rest there for the day. Before they started, Blackfield turned to Pinkamena and asked her who those kids were that she was yelling at, it was nagging her quite a bit.
“They’re just some kids who are dead-set on becoming certified criminals. They call themselves ‘The Tramp Stamp Terrorists’ though they’re just a group of wanna-be’s” She responded with little enthusiasm.
Tramp stamp terrorists….. Sounded like a group of drug dealers and bank robbers… Blackfield was just too damn tired to think about it, so she found her room, climbed into the already-made-bed and fell asleep.
During her sleep, Blackfield began to dream. She dreamt of being in the middle of a desert with another girl who looked just like her, who called herself “Twilight”… the both of them stood there facing each other, not saying a word. Finally, Blackfield unsheathed her sword and dashed after the doppelganger, as did she. Just as they were about to collide, she shot up from her bed, awake and out of breath…
“Another dream….. That same girl… That same place…. And that same feeling of appending doom….” she said between breathes.
Blackfield had been having this same dream all her life… She tried all she could to figure out what the dream meant, but so far, she kept coming up empty handed… She checked her clock and saw that I was still midnight. She flopped back down into her bed, just wanting one night of sleep. That when she heard the sound downstairs. Not bothering to get dressed, Blackfield grabbed her sword and tiptoed downstairs in her white tank top and boxers.
She passed by spike in his bed to she knew it wasn’t him. As twilight got downstairs she realized that even if she did get to whoever is was, it was too dark to- suddenly, the lights came on. She looked to the light switch and saw… Pinkamena!
“W-what the hell are you doing in my home!?” Blackfield shouted in a whisper.
Pinkamena set a paper back on the table in the kitchen and sat down.
“Just bringing a new friend some dinner” she responded.
Blackfield, hesitated, but she grabbed the bag and pulled out its contents. Inside she found some stir-fry, beef with broccoli, and some rice. This was good, but it was still no excuse the break into her house at 3 in the morning!
“Thanks, but did you really have to do it this late at night?” she said angrily.
Pinkamena giggled, which for some reason ran chills down Blackfield’s spine. “Please, EVERYBODY’S up right now!”
Blackfield stared at her with a look of confusion and questioning. “What….?”
Blackfield walked out the door and found that the city was a busy as when she got there. The only difference was that the street lights were on and there were only a few less people there.
“Do you people EVER sleep!?” Blackfield practically shouted.
Pinkamena giggled again, this time she looked a bit darker around the eyes when she giggled, Blackfield could only shutter at the thought of what ran through her mind.
“Of course we do! Just not on the night before the Great War ceremony. Everyone’s preparing for it.” She said with a terrifying smile on her face.
JEEZ THIS WOMAN WAS CREEPY!
Blackfield’s heart sank at the mention of the Great War ceremony.
She completely forgot that Killestia had left her in charge of the preparations! Blackfield did a complete 180 and sprinted for her room, making sure to yell at spike to get up on the way. Blackfield threw her clothes on, straightened her hair as quickly as possible, sheathed her sword and ran out just as spike sluggishly put on his torn jeans and walked to the door. Twilight inhaled her share of the food Pinkamena brought them, threw spike his and told him to bring some plastic silverware because they were gonna have to take it to go.
