     "Hi Rainbow Dash. I'm happy to be spending the weekend with you." Rainbow ruffled her little cousin's blue mane.

     "Like I wouldn't do it for my favorite cousin in Equestria." she told him, "Now how about I get Scootaloo to show you around. I gotta go to lunch with my friends."

     "Alright!"

     "I should have kept a better eye on you."

  "Rainbow Dash! Help me!" the red pegasus colt yelled as he fell.

     Rainbow heard his scream from across town. "Don't worry, Lightning! I'm coming!"

     "Rainbow Dash!" Dash flew faster, even conjured a sonic rainboom. All for nothing. With a thud, Lightning's blue eyes closed forever.

     "Lightning, I'm sorry." the cyan mare cried, "I should have been there for you. I'm sorry, Lightning. I'm so sorry."

     "Rainbow Dash, I'm sorry." Scootaloo said, 'I really am. I should have done something."

     "Scoots, it's not your fault. I'm the one who couldn't save him." Rainbow sighed. She hugged the orange filly.

     "I'm sorry, Lightning." Rainbow cried, "I truly am. I couldn't save you. I was a horrible cousin. You have every right to hate me."

     "Rainbow, you're going to have to fly again." Twilight said.

     "My flying couldn't save five ponies. So no, I'm not going to fly again." Rainbow said angrily, "First, Lightning. Then Pinkie. Then Applejack, Then Rarity. Then finally Fluttershy. I can't cave any pony! I've lost it."

     "Rainbow Dash. All of them would want you to do this." Twilight tried to reason with her friend/

     "NO!! I've lost everypony I care about!" Ranibow Dash yelled at her friend, "It all started with Lightning."
