“Man I wonder what he has got himself into now” Blaze thought to himself as he waited for a train. He looked at the clock and sighed. The train was late. As Blaze looked at all of the happy couples, he began to think but he was quickly stopped as Psy-Psy approached.

“You too Blaze?” he asked.

Blaze just smiled and nodded. Psy-Psy face hoofed as he sat down next to Blaze and waited for the train.

About half an hour passed. As the train arrived, Blaze turned to Psy-Psy and asked if he knew anything about what was going on but he didn't so they boarded the train to canterlot. As they did, Blaze saw something out of the corner of his eye. It looked like Applejack but he couldn't tell.

“Something the matter Blaze?” Psy-Psy asked.

“It’s nothing, just thought I saw a friend” Blaze replied, he seem a bit unsure.

As the two found their seat, they were greeted by Smasher

“Both of you?” he asked.

They nodded

“What has that featherbrain got himself into now?” he continued.

As the three got comfortable, Blaze was thinking if it really was Applejack or just his mind playing tricks.

As the train pulled into the station, the three got up and look around before being stopped by a voice.

“You're late” he said.

The three turned around it was Commandos in his guard uniform.

“The train was late oh and gold looks good on you. Maybe not the helmet but still good” Blaze replied in a jokey tone.

Commandos chuckled.

“Yeah well back to the reason why we are here, which is?” they stared with blank faces. Commandos sighed as they began to walk.

Blaze asked, “So where are we going then?”

“Some fancy cafe but other than that I don't know” Commandos replied as they finally got to the cafe. Thundurus sat down, he look inpatient.

As they approached he sprung up, “Oh thank Celestia you’re here!”

They all looked at him and at the same asked, “What’s the matter? Why did you tell us to come here?”

He giggled, “Well... um... you see...”

He was interrupted by his brother, “He’s fallen in love and he wants you to help him” said Tornadus.

Everyone sighed except Blaze who slammed his head on the table.

“WELL who’s the one?” asked Psy-Psy.

Thundurus pointed across the street

“That’s her...” he said in lovely tone.

Everyone looked over and began to laugh.

“You can’t be serious, that's Fleur de lis, one of the most popular unicorn mares in Canterlot. She probably already got thousands of love letter by now. You stand no chance” Blaze stated.

Thundurus sighed, he knew he had no chance.

“Saying that Blaze, she looks upset. Maybe he does if he plays his cards right” Commandos pointed out.

Thundurus began to smile, “You're right, I’ll never know until I try right? I'm going for it”

He flew off hoping for the best.

“50 bits says that he fails in five minutes” said Blaze as he put a sack of money on the table.

“75 says that he will get denied before she tells him her name” Smasher said putting his bag on the table.

“100 says that he lasts ten minutes” Tornadus putting his bag on the table.

“115 on being told no before he even says hi” Psy-Psy added his money to the table.

“200 says he get at least one date” Commandos said confidently as he added his bag too.

As they look over they saw Thundurus just about to talk to Fleur.

“Um hey there miss”

She interrupted him, “Let me guess you're here to ask me out or give me note like every else” she snapped. Fleur continued, “Well too bad, I'm not interested”

Thundurus replied “Actually no. I came over because you seemed upset and I wanted to know why”

She was in shock, “Really! Well I'm upset because every hearts and hooves day its the same countless letter pony everywhere I go asking me out. Its so annoying” Thundurus sat down next to her.

“Hmm I can see how frustrating that could be...” He carried on, “The name’s Thundurus. What’s yours?”

She smiled, “Fleur, Fleur de lis”

Thundurus looked at his friends but Blaze was gone. Then he look up and saw a large group of storm clouds rolling in and before he could say anything it started to rain hard.

“That's strange, it shouldn't rain today” he said puzzled.

Fleur got up and began to walk away but turned and said “Well are you coming”

“Excuse me?” Thundurus replied.

“to mine its obvious your not from around here and i don't live far so come on” Thundurus smiled and followed her.

“Phew we're lucky we didn't get too wet” said Thundurus.

Fleur handed Thundurus a towel and sat down.

“I wonder why it rained all of a sudden. It wasn’t forecasted” Fleur asked.

“Its probably some prank” Thundurus replied as he finished drying himself.

He sat down and looked out the window.

“By the looks of it, it should be about half an hour until it stops raining...”

Fleur give a puzzled look “How can you tell so easily?”

“It's simple really, you look at the darkness of the cloud; if it’s getting white at the top then it's almost out”

“Um Thundurus why don't you tell me about yourself if you don't mind” asked Fleur.

 “Well first off I was a thief but after our boss went a bit loopy me and my brother quit and now I'm a weather pony for manehatten. That's the basics” he replied.

The sun shined through the window as the canterlot weather team started to clear the sky.

“Hmm well I don't want to overstay my welcome. Thanks for having me Fleur” said Thundurus as he began to leave.

“7pm” said Fleur.

“Excuse me!?” asked Thundurus in shock

“you heard me be back here for 7 and dress smart” she replied.

“Oh, okay sure. 7 it is” he dashed off, smiling greatly as he went to find a suite.

“Well consider me impressed but try not to screw this up Thundurus” said Commandos. He continued, “and you lot pay up!...”

Thundurus look at and smiled as everyone else handed over their money which Commandos handed to Thundurus.

“Erm what?” asked Thundurus.

“She said dress smart and its... hmm half five so get going” Commandos said as he looked at his watch. Thundurus dashed of waving his friends good bye.
