The Reason for Cupcakes

The empire was as beautiful ever. The crystal ponies were going on their usual routine. I love it here because it is so peaceful. I turned to Fritter and Cloudchaser both awestruck. Who wouldn't be? The scenery is gorgeous.  The crystals are shining as bright as Celestia's Sun. Then I felt somepony nudge my shoulder.

"Come on we better get going. I think we could just look at this place forever, don't you agree?" It was Cloudchaser. I looked at her as her eyes wondered in amazment. I simply gave her a nod and we were all on our way. Cloudchaser despite knowing we had to get to the castle as quickly as possible she went shopping. That her weakness if there is something that catches her eye don't stand in her way. Not even even Flitter would be able to stop her. If you were to look at Flitter and Cloudchaser you could tell they were twins but urneath are ponies who couldn't be any more different.

I decided to give her five minutes if she doesn't I'll have to drag her out. It would be fun but when you personality is sweet and bubbly, it would make you look really suspicious.

Five Minutes Later

"Cloudy did buy the  the entire store!" Flitter exclaimed after see her sister's ten huge multiply color bags. I let out a little gasp of my own, it wasn't because of how stuff she had it was the fact she was able to carry all of them. Maybe being on Pony ville's Weather Team really does strengthen your muscles.   Then again, by the way she shops I wouldn't be surprised if she was a champion weight lifter.

"Oh Flitter you know my salary wouldn't be able to cover that."  She smiled and said as she pulled out a newly purchased navy blue scarf from one of the bags.

Part of me dreaded this day because I never thought I would have to take another life but it's hard to dread when everything around is shiny and gorgeous with clear sky and a warming sun. I looked around and realized the castle was right in front of us. I gulped some air and began to trot to the Castle.  My hooves felt heavier with each step I take. I know it was all in my head but my Pinkie Sense keeps giving me a slight tingle every second. I have this funny feeling that what I'm about to do might change me forever. I can't shake off the feeling.

"Miss Pinkameana, Miss Cloudchaser, Miss Flitter" I shook as a voice broke into my thoughts

I realized it was Princess Cadence.  It was obvious that she didn't expect to see me by the way her eyes widen.

She coughed nevously and continued her greetings."It is my greatest honor to welcome you to the Crystal Empire" She forced a smile as she turned around to lead us to our destination. I stifled a laugh after all I have been to the empire many times. It seemed strange to be introduced to this place again. I lifted my head up and began to pick the pace. After all an order waits for no pony.
