Chapter 3: Answers, sort of (Raw)
Previous ChapterNext ChapterShe took a deep breath and pressed on through her story. "She looked strange." She said fear beginning to take place of her confusion. "She was darker and she looked hurt. I tried to help her, she just limply floated up, and when I watched her float away into the air a giant arm was holding her. It lifted her away and all I heard was this horrid laughter as it all faded away." She went on, looking at the floor. "and then I woke up here."
"Well, I guess trying to help her is going to be tougher than I thought" I thought."For now I'll just play along."
"I don't know if it was a dream or real or...I just don't know."
Alright listen, I'm gonna help you, but your gonna have to work with me. Alright?" I asked being serious.
She only nodded. I got up and walked over to the door. I waved for her to follow and stepped out. I quickly jogged across the street to Justin's house. I pounded on the door and waited, nothing. I pounded again and waited, nothing. 'Twilight' stood patiently beside me.
"Stay here." I ordered, jumping down from the porch and walking around the house. I walked over to the garage in his backyard and opened the door to be greeted by Justin holding his magnum to my face while he kept looking over his car. I froze in place, "I hope he's not on PCP right now." I said to myself.
He turned around and lowered the gun. "Oh, hey man. What's up?" He asked nonchalantly.
"Oh nothing, just thought I could come over, say hi, get a .44 shoved in my face." I said sarcastically.
"Sorry, gotta be cautious man."
"Yeah well, I don't feel like having a hole in me just 'cause my friend was being cautious."
"I said sorry."
"Whatever."
"Listen, I'm working on my car, what d'you need."
"I need to borrow your car." I said plainly."your street car."
"I'm working on my street car."
"Then I'm fucked." I said now irritated.
I looked at a bike that stood suspended from chain over a work bench on the other side. a West Coast Choppers CFL, 2032cc twin cam engine coupled to a 6 speed transmission with a chain final drive. Mine.
"Why do you even need it?" He asked wiping motor oil of his hands with a dirty rag.
I put my arm around his shoulder, and guided him out of the garage. We stood in the driveway and I pointed toward 'Twilight' who was looking around the corner of the house at us. "That my friend, is why."
He looked at me with a grin and I followed him back to the garage where he opened a door into a separate room where I saw the most beautiful thing (to me). There sat a 2012 Mustang Boss 302, which he avidly used for street racing. What made this one so unique was that it was a Laguna Seca. He had kept this room separated do to the fact he stole the car and had quite a few illegal modifications, though none visible.
I stepped up to it an placed a hand on it's hood, looking at the custom paint job he had done himself. on the hood was a large white eagle. The rest of the car was a solid ebony with red, blue and yellow striping and details. The tires were white walled and he had dark silvery rims, which, knowing Justin, would probably be steel.
He dug into one of his pockets with his greasy hand and pulled out the keys, which he then tossed to me. I caught them and looked back and forth between him and the car. "Seriously?"
He only nodded. Excited, I opened the door and slid in feeling rather tight being six-six and at shoulder took up roughly sixteen inches. I sat comfortably in the black leather seat. I placed my hands on the wheel and stuck the key in and turned it. My heart almost skipped a beat as I heard the car start with roar.
Justin patted the roof and I rolled down the window. "Don't have too much fun." He said walking over to the garage door, opening it. I eased the car out and he yelled to me. "What ever you do, don't flip the red switch!"
"Red switch?" I thought to myself. I looked in the rear view mirror to see Justin standing next to a large canister of nitrous oxide."Oh, red switch."
I pulled up to 'Twilight' who sat on the steps of the porch and leaned over to the other door and opened it. "Hop in."
Wide eyed, she stepped over to the car. "What is this?" She asked.
"This is three thousand six hundred and fifty pounds of Kick Ass, now get in." I said looking at the console with the largest grin I ever had.
She eased into the cabin and looked around, bewildered by the whole of the machine. As we drove down the road she opened the glove compartment and looked in at its contents. A map, a flashlight, A towel, but pulled out what caught her eye the most. "What's this?" She asked.
I turned to her, to see her looking over a rather large pack of condoms. I placed the palm of hand to my face and shook my head. "Please put those back." I asked her, trying to stay calm about it. "God dammit Justin."

Yes, I still want comments on these after all the progress.
