My Little Frozen

"Okay everypony we need to find out whats happening to Twilight. So to start out-," Applejack said

"I think it has something to do with that necklace! That was the only thing different about Twilight that day." interrupted Rainbow Dash,

"Why don't we look in the spells. Anything that has to do with spells or curses. Because the worst possibility is that Twilight is cursed and we don't want that to be true!" Rarity looked through her big book shelf of books. "Let's see... should we look in curses, spells, dark magic, magical jewelry or anything else?" asked Rarity, flipping through one of Twilight's book and tossing it aside.

Rarity was right. They all nodded in approval and they started looking.

Rarity used her magic and started putting the books into piles. She stacked the books that had to do with a specific magic subject and put them all into groups. She sorted them by magical curses, dark magic, and other spells.

Pinkie flipped through one of the books and found something useful. "Hey guys I think I found something!" She said waving her hooves up in the air to get their attention. They came over and looked at what Pinkie found.

"This is it!" Applejack exclaimed.

It showed a picture of a crystal snowflake. It looked like the one that Rarity and Twilight found.

"That is most certainly the necklace!" Rarity exclaimed pointing at the picture with her hoof.

The description said that it was called the Crystal light darkness because of its tendency to lead a person towards darkness even though the necklace seems very beautiful.

There was a story behind the necklace as well.

Rarity read it aloud, "There once lived two beautiful Princess sisters named Eris and Anita. They were great sisters who got along great with each other till one day her sister Eris found an Amulet of unknown origin. It was as beautiful as the snow  and soon Eris started developing ice powers."

"One day Eris and Anita were playing together: Eris caused an accident. Her sister Anita wanted to have fun and build a snow mare. Eris used her ice powers and made the room an indoor winter. They played in the snow until Anita did something dangerous. She jumped on hill that was being made by her sister and the hills got larger. Anita moved faster across hills until Eris couldn't keep up with her. She hit her sister in the head with her ice magic. Eris tried to help her sister and that's when her parents stormed into the room."

"Her parents took her sister to a wizard who could help her sister, but the consequence was that Anita could not remember her sisters ice powers. Eris would have to learn to control her powers. Her parents locked her up keeping her from the outside world. She barely had any contact with her sister let alone her parents."

"Her parents left for a trip and never came back. They died in a ship crash and Eris lost her necklace that day. The only way to stop the curse from continuing was to use the necklace with a certain spell. Eris had her emotions tied in with her magic and that's when they started going haywire. The necklace corrupted her memories and made her forget about her sister and family. She disappeared into the night. Her sister luckily was a light sleeper and followed her out into the wilderness."

"Anita was close friends with Princess Celestia and notified her behavior. Her sister's heart became ice and she froze her sister. Turning her into an icy statue. Eris then decided she wanted to takover Equestria, but Celestia stopped it from happening. Celestia came and defeated Eris. Celestia put Eris in the San Franciscolt prison where she has stayed since then."

"Well that was a little...." Rarity said.

"Dark." Rainbow Dash answered for Rarity and gulped.

The time had gone by too fast and it was already morning. The sun was starting to peak through Twilight's window. Everyone yawned after the long nights read.

Everyone went silent for the moment. They listened carefully and heard the sound of Twilight clopping downstairs.

Spike had made breakfast to help Twilight wake up like he usually does. He made some of his famous pancakes for Twilight.

Twilight walked slowly to the kitchen. Her eyes slowly adjusting to the morning brightness. She blinked a few times to get them awake and aware of what was happening in the kitchen. There was the chatter of her friends talking with each other.

"Twilight we've found an answer to your problem." Her friends said together in unison. They all smiled at her.

Twilight was however in a different mood. She felt grumpy and tired and wanted some more rest. "I'm sick of this necklace I don't even deserve it."

"Don't say that Twilight you deserve special jewelry. This one in particular is not good for you to wear." Rarity said.

"I'm glad to hear you agree with me Rarity." Twilight heard her wrong. Twilight tore the necklace off from her neck and threw it to the floor. Those few seconds felt like minutes when Rarity saw Twilight throw the necklace. It fell to the floor and shattered into a million tiny crystal bits.

Her friends gasped, "Twilight! You shouldn't have done that! It could become permanent!" Applejack yelled.

"What?" Twilight was confused.

"I SAID IT COULD BECOME PERMANENT!!" Applejack yelled, furious at Twilight. Applejack growled at Twilight and She stepped back a few inches. "Let me at her!!" Applejack yelled, but Twilight's friends were holding her back. Applejack tried to stretch her hands out and get Twilight, but it was useless.

"We were going to tell you that you had a cursed necklace and that if you kept wearing it you would become corrupted like Trixie did with the alicorn amulet!" Applejack yelled.

Twilight looked at Applejack in fear. She did this to herself. She was the only one to blame. She caused the spell to become permanent. Twilight sat in a corner in a fetile position. Rocking back and forth scaredly. Twilight hid her face by covering herself with her hair. The tips of Twilight's hair had started turning a crystal white color.

This was a start off to a bad day.
