My Little Frozen

Rarity told Twilight where they were going.

They were going to the new Ponyville Diner that opened up just a few weeks ago. Twilight's friends treaded across the snow covered road made by Twilight.

Twilight ignored it and walked ahead. They entered the restaurant. They heard a little bell ring as they opened the door.

The diner itself was retro with chrome seating and walls to give it a retro look. It had the retro checkered walls and old cars sitting on shelves above the walls and seating. It was overall trying to make it look like an old diner. Give it a retro theme. That was trying to be stylish. The tables were wooden in structure and had a metal finish on top. The seating was red.

They sat together at a booth near the corner of the diner. It was lunch time already. Twilight didn't even realize how much time had gone by. It seemed as if the days were getting faster and shorter in length of time. Twilight scrunched in at the end of the corner of the table. Getting situated she moved around the seat for a few seconds. Snow covered the seat below her. She crossed her arms in frustration. "Ugh!!! Why is there always snow below me!" Twilight yelled blatantly, ignoring the weird looks she was getting.

There were menus sitting down on the table and Twilight immediately picked it up and hid her face.

A waiter came to take their order. She had a name tag that said "Hello my name is Lyra." Her hair and mane color was a light green. "Hello sweetie, can I get you anything to drink?" She asked, holding a notepad waiting to take their drink order. They ordered their drink and they came within minutes. Lyra set the drinks in front of everypony and then she asked, "What would you like to order?" They ordered four plates of hay fries and hay burgers plus two salads.

Lyra delivered them as fast as she could. Twilight wondered why Lyra was in such a hurry to serve them. Lyra didn't show any fear in her facial expressions. So maybe it was because Twilight was a Princess now. But that didn't mean that she should be treated as royalty. She wanted to be treated like a regular pony, but she knew that wouldn't happen. But Twilight thought she should let Lyra know that she wanted to be treated as normally as possible.

"Lyra you don't need to give me any special treatment. Just treat me as a regular pony, please?" Twilight asked sweetly.

Lyra nodded and went back to get other ponies meals and deliver them to the other tables.

Twilight took off her gloves and picked up the burger with her hooves and raised it to her mouth. Her burger became encased in frost. "Ugh! I can't even eat a simple burger!" Twilight angrily exclaimed.

"Twilight don't worry about it. I'll share my burger with you," Applejack sliced the burger in half with a knife and set it on Twilight's plate. Twilight eyeballed the food for a moment. Then she picked up the food using her magic. The burger was surrounded by a light blue aura instead of a pink aura and levitated in the air. "My magic is even starting to change," Twilight said solemnly.

Twilight started continually coughing. "There's...something.. in....my. throat," Twilight managed to say coughing between every word. Applejack patted Twilight on the back to help her throat.

"You okay Twilight?" Applejack asked sincerely.

Twilight kept coughing until Twilight coughed out a white puff of snow. It looked like a snow breeze coming out from Twilight's mouth. Her friends looked around the room to see if anyone had noticed the strange occurrence. Twilight heard the gasps from everypony around them.

"That's never happened before.." Twilight said. Looking at the snowy puff that came from her mouth. Applejack quickly got rid of the evidence by moving her hooves quickly in the air. Getting rid of the puff. Applejack smiled falsely at everyone else.

Twilight put her hands on the table forgetting that she had gloves on. The table and food became encased in snow. "Sorry," Twilight apologized.

No matter how hard she tried to keep her powers a secret it was useless. Her attempts to be normal for today had utterly failed. Seeing that she could no longer be normal she left the diner table and headed towards the door. Twilight hung her head in shame and left the building. "Twilight don't go.." Applejack tried to say, but Twilight closed the door on her and she didn't hear Applejack's words.
