Discord managed to convince

the princesses into going on a vacation where they could relax. He promised that he would look after the kingdom. But the moment they were gone he started phase 2 of his plan. He began to hunt down the bearers of Harmony. As much as they tried they could not stop Discord's magic without Fluttershy. Rarity was the first to die as she did not have much power. Discord wrapped her in her own fabrics and slowly stuck pins in her. The next was Pinkie Pie who was devastated from the death of her friend. Discord lit her on fire, stuffed her in her own party cannon, and shot her into a wall of spikes. The next on the death list was Rainbow Dash. Not even her extreme speed could save her. Not only did Discord kill her, he drove her insane. Discord knew he couldn't catch her so he filled her mind with images that I dare not speak of. Discord found her in a corner screaming he quickly ripped her apart with a bulldozer. Applejack and Twilight Sparkle knew their time was short. So they went into hiding using Spike to do two things. The first was to contact the princesses. The second was to encourage the other citizens to fight against Discord. I was the one who was contacted to start this rebellion. Her letter wrote

"Dear Dragon Scar as you may know by now. The Bearers of Harmony are being killed by Discord. I have chosen to contact you because of what you did for my brother many years ago. You are brave, courageous, and most of all you are the one who openly resented Discord. You warned us not to trust him. I now realize that you were correct to think so. Now back to business. You must do what I could not. You must find a way to defeat him. But beware as I'm sure you are well aware of. He is Chaos itself.

I learned the next night that Twilight and Applejack were killed. I gathered up as many ponies as possible including Shining Armor. It was difficult to tell him of his sister's death but he took it well. If anything the death of Twilight made him want to fight even more.

We still don't know how he did it but amazingly he got Chrysalis to fight with him. Chrysalis may be evil but she would never try to destroy the entire world. Then there would be nothing to rule. Either way he convinced her. I had gathered up an army of 50,000 warriors but I knew without the princesses we would not win. Chrysalis sent the changelings to fight us under an oath to not change into us. Discord did that saying that it would make the fight more interesting. During the fight Shining unleashed his pent up anger and ran into battle. I can personally say that there were about 95,000 changelings there but alone he took down 30,000. When he was done he had a crazed look in his eyes and charged the enemy again. Except this time the changelings were smart enough to run. We chased them to Discord's palace picking off 10,000 more. That was when they made a stand. I do not know how the battle ended because me and Shining charged to confront Discord himself. And sure enough the weasel was there laughing as he watched the battle.
