I yelled

"End this nonsense and surrender!"

"Oh? Why on earth would I ever do that?"

He asked

"Ha! Can't you see the battle? We are slaughtering your changelings!"

I boasted

"Not only that! The princesses are on their way!"

"Oh dear! The princesses! What ever shall I do!"

He fell over himself in mock fear

"Oh mommy! Mommy! The princesses are here and I will soon perish! Bwaaaa!"

"Hey wha-"

"Whaaaa uh uh awahhhh"

"WHY me? What have I done ugawaaaa!"

That went on for a long time.....

Then he looked up at me and grinned. He grinned like he knew something I didn't.

"Do you not think the princesses would have noticed the moment I killed someone? Do you really not think they wouldnt come rushing here to stop me?"

He asked

"Well sure it was a little confusing..."

I muttered

He laughed

He pulled back a curtain from behind his throne to reveal Luna and Celestria chained and beaten

"HAHAHAHAHAHA"

He howled

"They're really just dead husks now! I sucked the magic right out of them!"

He grinned

"Oh if only you had heard their screams!"

That was all Shining could take.

But with a flick of his wrist Discord threw Shining out the window.

Discord once again howled with laughter.
