Twilight rubbed the sides of her head trying to fight off a migraine from the information she’d gotten.
“So let me get this straight. You’re a time traveling space alien…and this is a living time machine…that you stole? Am I getting this right so far?”
“Yes, that’s pretty much it.” The Doctor nodded his head.
“And you’re big plan for fixing all of this is to just go back in time and stop all this from happening?”
“Yep, that’s it.”
“IF YOU HAD A TIME MACHINE ALL THIS TIME, THEN WHY DID WE EVEN BOTHER GOING TO CANTERLOT IN THE FIRST PLACE?! We could have come here from the beginning and stopped all of this before it happened!” Twilight erupted.
“I’m not really supposed to interfere with the timeline. If we change the wrong things, we could bloody well destroy all of space and time. The only reason I’ve even considered this as a viable plan because honestly, we’re out of options.”
Twilight sighed in defeat.
“I see. I suppose your right. I know, fist hoof, from that one encounter from my future self that messing with time can be dangerous and should be avoided if ever possible. I have one last question.”
“Go on.”
“How do you know Derpy?”
“Well, you see, now that’s an interesting story. When I first arrived here in Equestria…”
He began to explain when, suddenly, he was interrupted by a pounding on the door. Twilight and Whooves both turned and looked at the entrance.
“You both are worthless! You can’t even open a stupid door.”
Discordia voice could be heard chastising her two minions on the other side.
“You two better shape up or you’re going to end up like Rainbow Dash. Am I understood?”
The door began to glow with dark magic.
Whooves looked nervous. “On second thought, I’ll tell you later. We should get going before they get in.”
“Agreed.” Twilight nodded
The doctor pulled some levers and twisted a few nobs on the control panel, causing the Tardis begin to rumble and make strange noises.
From the outside, the box was beginning to dematerialize, traveling to a new point in space and time.
Discordia struggled to pull the door open, but it disappeared before she had a chance to do so. She was furious and turned on Pinkamina and Rarity.
“You two have failed me for the last time!” She shrieked, approaching the two mares.
The glowing whites of her pupils grew, engulfing her eyes as she filled with rage. A magical aura began to glow around her and burst into magical violet flames.
“Wait! I have an idea! I can fix this.” Pinkamina pleaded, holding her hoof out as a gesture to stop while using the other hoof to shield her face.
Discordia halted out of curiosity.
“How?” She asked, regaining her calm.
Pinkamina got up and smiled.
“I gotta go get something. I’ll be right back.” She said, zipping out the door.
Discordia raised an eyebrow and looked over to Rarity, hoping for answers. She just looked back and shrugged her shoulders.
Seconds later, a heavily modified DeLorean crashed through the back wall of the clock shop. The gull wing doors opened as Pinkamina stepped out wearing a denim jacket covered by a red vest.
With her was another pony. He was old with a crazy white hair and wearing a white jumpsuit, goggles resting on his forehead. He turned to her in excitement.
“Great Scott, Pinkie! It worked!”
He beamed with joy as he jumped up in down.
“It worked! It worked!”
Pinkamina grabbed his front hooves and jumped with him to share in the excitement.
“This is great, Doc! But this is your stop.”
“What do you mean, Pinkie? We’re just getting started.”
Pinkamina smiled, pulled out a knife, and buried it in the old pony’s chest repeatedly.
He looked down at his wounds, not believing what just happened.
“Why, Pinkie?”
She stared and smiled as he bled out.
“Nothing personal, Doc. Your time just ran out.”
Pinkamina giggled as he collapsed over the hood of the car. The pink pony then turned to her friends and waved at them in excitement
“Hi! I’m back.”
Discordia and Rarity were both speechless as their jaws dropped.
The white unicorn was the first to speak up.
“What…is that ugly thing?”
“It’s a time machine, silly.”
“No, I mean what is that ghastly thing you’re wearing.”
“I think it looks cool!” Pinkamina pouted, sticking out her tongue.
“Never mind that!” Discordia cut in. “Where did you get this time machine?”
“Well duh! The Future! Where else would I find a time machine?”
“What!? You just left two minutes ago!” Rarity chimed in, sharing her master's disbelief
“I didn’t leave. I’m just standing outside waiting for the future.” Pinkamina waved out the door to herself. “Hi, past me!”
The Pinkamina outside waved back. “Oh! Hi, future me!”
Discordia became even more confused and irritated
“But…that doesn’t make any sense!”
“Look, we really need to catch up with Twilight and stop her before she can stop us from stopping her by stopping us in the past”
Discordia just stood there for a moment with a blank expression on her face.
“…WHAT?”
Pinkamina let out a deep sigh. “Just get in.”
The pink mare pushed the body out of the way to make room, and stopped Rarity as she trotted up with Discordia.
“I’m sorry Rarity, but this thing only has room for two. You’ll have to stay behind with Slendy, but we’ll come back for you when we’re done.”
Pinkamina smiled to her friend as Discordia got into the car.
“Let’s just go.” Discordia said impatiently.
“Okie dokie.” Pinkamina smiled as she closed the doors. She pressed a few buttons on the dash and grabbed the wheel. The flux capacitor lit up and the wheels tucked under the car as it lifted up into the air, crashing through the roof.
“Oops.” She said as the car took off into the sky, disappearing with a fiery trail behind it.
Rarity looked over to the slender pony, and he slowly turned to look back at her.
“So…what do you want to do now?”
He turned his head in the other direction and walked into a shadow on the wall, disappearing from sight.
“Fine! Be that way.” She said dramatically turning her head away to snub him before walking outside.
Pinkamina playfully called out as she saw Rarity pass by.
“Hey, where you going?”
“To the spa. Mommy’s had a rough day.”
“Can I go too?”
“I thought you had to wait there till you got that time machine in the future.”
“Pfft yeah, but that’s all the way in the future. It doesn’t mean I can’t have any fun right now.”
Pinkamina said, as she caught up with the white unicorn.
“Besides, I already killed Lotus and Aloe, so there isn’t much for you at the spa. How about we go back to Sugarcube Corner and finally have that ‘Private Party’ I promised you?”
Rarity smiled as her cheeks flushed a rosy red.
“Oh, Pinkamina, I thought you’d never ask.”
The two ponies leaned on each other, smiling as they walked back to Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkamina proceeded to tie up Rarity in the basement and cut her up for the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes she’d ever made.
