Personally, she would've loved to go and get some muffins, but she still didn't know if The Doctor actually liked muffins, and she didn't want to do something that displeased the handsome stallion. The Doctor smiled. "Well, we could always, oh, I don't know, go to a muffin planet in the TARDIS." Derpy's crossed eyes widened, "Wow! You'd really do that?" He nodded. He loved to please the pegasus with the beautiful golden eyes. "But, when will we leave?" She asked, "Any time you like." The Doctor grinned. "Wow, a planet made out of muffins!" Derpy gasped, " But what if I eat the muffin-ponies?" "Oh, no! There's no civilization on the Muffin Planet!" The Doctor shook his head. He loved the way she was so sweet and considerate. "But I'm meeting my friends tonight. Would you like to meet them? I'm sure they'd love to meet you!" Derpy excitedly hopped up and down. "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to meet a couple more ponies." The Doctor hesitated. But if he met more ponies, he might fit in a little. So he agreed to meet her buddies. That night, right after Princess Luna rose the moon, the two partners arrived at Lyra Heartstrings' house. The Doctor looked at the four mares that were staring at him. "So, Derpy, who's your friend there?" A white unicorn with a blue mane asked. She had a rather raspy voice. "Vinyl! Mind your manners, a guest is a guest you know." The gray pony next to her scolded. The Doctor noticed that the pony had an accent. "Girls, this is my friend, The Doctor." Derpy waved a hoof towards him. "Doctor Who?" A light teal unicorn demanded, pointing her hoof at the Time Lord. "It's just 'The Doctor'." Replyed The Doctor. A pony with a blue and pink mane made a puzzled face, "But Lyra is right, you can't just be 'The Doctor', so who are you?" She looked helplessly at Derpy, who was puzzled herself. "No, it's just 'The Doctor' " she smiled. Vinyl spoke up. "Woah! What in the name of Celestia is that thing?" She pointed at the TARDIS. "That, uh... Vinyl, is my big blue box, other wise known as, The TARDIS." The Doctor grinned proudly. "Wow! Bon Bon,you see that?" Lyra's eyes were quite wide by now. "Oh I see it alright, I see it." Bon Bon gasped breathlessly. "Does this mean humans are real?" Lyra asked hopefully. Bon Bon frowned, " Of course not, it's just a... a TARDIS! " Lyra hung her head, "Oh." Octavia inspected The Doctor. She pulled out his sonic screwdriver, "What's this?" She asked, " Oh! Don't touch that! It's terribly dangerous!" He exclaimed, pulling it away from her. "How's it dangerous?" She asked, pulling it back carefully, " Well, listen!" He turned it on, causing a terribly high-pitched noise. All the ponies screamed except Derpy and Derpy and The Doctor. "See? Sonic!" He chuckled. Once all the ponies got to know The Doctor, he looked at them and said, " Do you like muffins?" They looked at eachother and nodded. Bon Bon cocked her head. "Why muffins?" she asked. Derpy smiled, "a surprise."

Derpy cried, "Not them, not here! Doctor, do something!" Odd metal creatures emerged from the muffin-shaped shadows. "Gosh, what are those things, robots?" Lyra screamed frantically, running with the others. "Not robots, Daleks!" Yelled The Doctor, "it's armor!" They looked like metal ponies, but the four un-expierienced ponies didn't know that there were brain like aliens inside. "What armor?" cried Vinyl. "The metal," replyed The Doctor, preparing his screwdriver, "there are aliens inside." "ALIENS!!!!.??????" Shrieked Octavia, galloping even faster. The Doctor frowned, "Just run to the TARDIS, I'll meet you there!" Once they had the time to look back, there was the brown pony, standing around some daleks. The daleks weren't moving, just lying on the soft ground. "Oh, Doctor, you did it!" Derpy rushed over to The Doctor, "Are you alright?" The Doctor panted, "Yes Miss Derpy, I'm fine." Lyra stared at the daleks breathlessly, "Oh my gosh, that was-" "Awesome!" Vinyl interrupted, "Doctor, you're cool!" The Doctor turned red in the face. "No, really, I do this all the time!" They entered the TARDIS. "Guys," said Bon Bon, "I just noticed something. This thing is... bigger on the inside!" She inspected her surroundings. "Woah, you're right, Bon Bon, this thing is huge!" Octavia gasped, looking around, "is... is it magic?" She looked at Derpy. "No, I don't think so." Derpy looked at the doctor, taking a huge bite out of her muffin, "No, not magic." he said, "just a... disguise." Lyra looked puzzled, "Weird." They all laughed. "Back to Ponyville!" Sighed Derpy, "We have to get The Doctor a house there!" her face brightened. The Doctor smiled. "But where shall I stay while I'm looking for a home to my liking?" "You could stay with me if you want," Volenteered Derpy. He nodded in agreement. "So how long have you two lover- ponies been together?" Vinyl looked mischeaviously at the two. They both blushed. "Oh, no I... we..." they laughed because they said it at exactly the same time. The Doctor chuckled, "No... we're just... friends." He smiled sheepishly. "Yeah, uh, just... friends." Derpy hung her head. She'd have loved for him to open up to her. Really, she would've told him about her feelings for him, if he had actually told her that he loved her. But when they got to Derpy's house, and they were alone, The Doctor said something shocking. "So, my my golden-eyed love, did you like the trip?" Derpy stared at the stallion. "What?" He frowned, "It was to hard to say infront of your friends. I love you. More than anypony ever can." "D-do you really mean that?" Derpy looked at her secret love. "I do. I love you more than anything. I don't care if you have funny-looking eyes." "I don't have funny-looking eyes!" Derpy said defensively, stepping back. "I didn't mean-" "No, Doctor, it has gone too far." Derpy yelled, "Nopony insults my eyes! Not even you, no name!" The Doctor was fuming, "I DO[/i/] HAVE A NAME, DERPY!!!!" Derpy looked hurt. "YES! THATS RIGHT! You're DERPY!!! And your cutiemark is probably because of your bubbly BRAIN!!!!!" Derpy gasped, "It's DITZY!!! ONLY MY FRIENDS CALL ME DERPY!!!" She screamed all this right at him. "NOW GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!!" "F- fine. Derpy." He snickered as he exited the room. Derpy's heart sunk. He was as cold as everypony else. "Oh, what have I *done?" she sunk to the floor, "It's all my fault."*

He growled. "Hahahahaha ! Good one!" Laughed the mare. The Doctor had forgotten that he didn't have the power to do this, but he knew who did. "Oh, but the power of Discord is strong enough." He smiled. That night, he would get Derpy back. *** That night, The Doctor arrived in Canterlot. Once he was allowed to get inside the castle, he got into Discord's room of chaos. "Well well well, what have we here?" Discord grinned as The Doctor entered, "What brings you here, stranger?" "I'm here to request something. Secretly." Discord narrowed his eyes, "Why so secretive, my friend?" The Doctor shifted uncomfortably, "Well, revenge. I guess." "Aha, what's the request?" "A switch in species. I'll give you description." "No, I sense who it is." Discord waved his paw, "go." ********* "Huh? Oh, it's morning!" Derpy yawned as she slowly opened her eyes. "Time for my flight excersises!" She tried to fold out her wings, but she felt as if they weren't there. She looked over to see if they were tied up, but they weren't there! Derpy frantically ran to the mirror. "What!? I have a horn!" sure enough, there on her forehead, was a pointed horn. She galloped to Vinyl's house. "Vinyl, what's wrong?" Derpy gasped as she saw the ruined furniture. "I don't know!" yelled Vinyl , flapping her wings. "I have wings!" then Lyra ran in with no wings or horn. Then Octavia with a horn. Then Bon Bon with wings. "Aww, no fair, I'm the only earth pony!" Lyra whined. "Ugh, Lyra! That's not what we're worried about!" Bon Bon flew clumsily over to her. "I think I know who did it!" Derpy trotted over to the nearest window, "But it's all my fault. Vinyl narrowed her eyes, "So you did this to us?" "No, but I'm the reason that The Doctor did it." Derpy held back tears. Octavia put her hoof around derpy, "Don't worry, we'll fix this madness. I hope." "We got in a fight yesterday because he said he loved me. He said he didn't care about my 'funny-looking eyes'" Derpy sighed. Lyra smiled comfortingly, "But that's good... right?" Bon Bon frowned, "No, he pretty much insulted her eyes," she turned towards Derpy, "I'm so sorry about that, but it's not your fault. He insulted you." Derpy sighed again, "But I got mad at him-" Vinyl held up her hoof, "And you could! It isn't your fault." Derpy yelled, "It is my fault! I got mad at him. I kicked him out of my house! I cried myself to bed that night! I'm the one he hates! I AM THE REASON THAT WE ARE ALL MIXED UP!!!!!" There was total silence. Nopony said a word. Finally, Lyra spoke up, "Hey, I think we should fix this. We'll go find The Doctor. We'll get back to normal." All the ponies agreed. They knew that this would not be easy. ******** The Doctor lay on the floor of the TARDIS. His eyes were glazed in thought. "Was this right?" He said aloud, "Whas this the perfect way to get Miss Derpy? I still love her. She knows it." "Yeah, I do." The shape of a unicorn was visible, "And I love you too. It was a secret... no name." "...Ditzy?" "Derpy." Once she was visible, The Doctor exclaimed, "My goodness, Derpy, what-" he stopped short. He knew what had happened, "Miss Derpy, I'm so sorry!" "I thought you would be." Derpy didn't look very happy. But soon, her eyes pooled with tears. They hugged for what felt like years. Then, they did the only reasonable thing. They kissed.
