Scootalove
Introduction
Previous ChapterOkay, this is the real story, no mind screws in this one. I'm sorry if the crazy Rainbow annoyed a few people (I figured it wasn't that confusing but I guess it's probably because I wrote it). That one came to me in a dream a while back, it's actually the inspiration for this one, lol. The real story is more fluffy and less crazy than the other one, note I suck at fluff.
I probably should have put both chapters on at the same time (since I had both already written) but the uploading system here makes me lazy. Luckily, I have a google account else this would have probably took a month because of my laziness.
After this is where the hiatus starts. Fluff is hard for me!
Fancy Foods
“I love her,” Scootaloo realized with a feeling of self-hate. It wasn’t right! She didn’t care that both of them were fillies or even that Twilight was bit ‘too old’ for her. None of that really mattered to her.
No, what really mattered was that Twilight already had another. And that pony was Rainbow Dash! She couldn’t steal Twilight from the Rainbow Dash. It was impossible, or was it? What if she could really steal Twilight Sparkle away from Rainbow Dash? How awesome would that be?! Scootaloo shook her head for thinking such a dark thought.
She couldn’t hurt Rainbow Dash like that. Besides, it was very unlikely for her to get Twilight’s attention when the purple mare already had somepony really special in her life.
Had she admired Rainbow Dash so much that she just became another ‘Rainbow Dash’ and so she desired the rainbow-maned pegasus’s mare-friend? No, it was real love for Twilight Sparkle! Scootaloo reasoned. But the second one was just as bad as the first…!

“You are so cute, Scootaloo!” Twilight said as she raised a hoof under Scootaloo’s chin. “It’s almost like you’re our little sister.”
“I told you that the Squirt’s alright, Twilight.” Rainbow Dash laughed as she leaned in a bit too close to Twilight as they walked, Twilight almost fell over from her mare-friend’s playful shove.
“Rainbow! Not around Scootaloo!” Twilight blushed as she eyed Scootaloo through the corners of her eyes.
“Geeze, Twilight! Scoots’ older now, she knows how nature works.”
“It’s still embarrassing, Rainbow.”
“O-Oh, don’t mind me, Rainbow Dash and Twilight!” Scootaloo tried her best attempt at a smile, failing horribly but none of the older mares noticed her. “I’ll-I’ll just be going…elsewhere?” With that, she quickly hurried off to anyplace but here.
“I told you that she was uncomfortable with us!” Scootaloo could hear Twilight lecturing her mare-friend. It was true that she was uncomfortable, but for entirely different reasons than Twilight had originally thought.
“Hey, Squirt! Wait up!” Scootaloo stopped to see Rainbow Dash flying at her. “I’m sorry about that. I didn‘t think about your feelings.” Dash gave a poor attempt at a chuckle. “I guess your idol is pretty disgusting, huh?” The rainbow mare scratched the back of her head with a hoof.
“No…? Oh, Celestia, no!” Scootaloo panicked at her idol’s assumption. “No! I don’t mind that you’re into mares, not at all!” ‘I mind that you have somepony who is rightfully mines!’ She couldn’t believe the thought that came out of her mind after saying that. “Besides, even if I was, how can I hate you?! You’re like the closest thing to a sister I have.”
“I’m glad to hear that, Squirt!” Rainbow slapped a hoof at Scootaloo’s backside. A thought seemed to fill Rainbow’s mind as her smile turned from amusement to a compromise. “I’m sorry, I just remembered that I can’t help you with stunts at the moment, I got a date with Twilight at a fancy-smancy restaurant.”
Scootaloo’s ears perked up at the mention of Twilight and the word ‘date’. She watched as she saw Rainbow Dash catch up with the librarian in the distance and they soon disappeared out of her sight.
“I shouldn’t…but…I want to know!” Scootaloo turned flustered. “Should I?” She started to pace back and forth. “No! I am not that kinda mare. It’s Twilight’s and Dash’s private life. I shouldn’t….” She took a loud gulp. “But I wanna know…! Eeeh!”

“Those two are really going at it!” Scootaloo shrieked quietly to herself as she watched Rainbow and Twilight eating at the restaurant. The two older mares were cuddling besides one another, seemingly lost in their own world. The table that they sat at seemed to be a bit empty due to how close they were sitting to one another.
Rainbow Dash was right when she had said that this was a fancy restaurant, Scootaloo had to spend her entire month’s earning just to come in and order a meal. Albeit, she was only working part-time and wasn’t really being paid much. But still, she was living a meager lifestyle as it was already!
Her parents would be so furious to know that she was wasting away her bits on this one night.
“I need to get enough bits to buy my own home and get away from my parents,” Said Scootaloo with a quiet resolve. “I don’t need them on my back cramping my style.” It came off a bit meaner than she had intended but she shouldn’t feel guilty since she was just mumbling to herself. Right? But it still felt so wrong on her lips.
“Mademoiselle, your honey-roasted sunflower seeds on grilled lettuce, for your appetizer.” The waiter, wait, waitress had said and laid the food down? It was confusing, it was obviously a mare but she was wearing a butler uniform.
It was a bit hot, though. ‘Damn it, Scoots, this isn’t the time!’
“Thank y-you!” Scootaloo said as she tried to look unsuspicious and failing horribly at it.
The butler mare seemed to notice but didn’t say anything and just left it at that with a quiet smile.
The orange pegasus turned back to look at the couple at the other table. Twilight had ordered a daisy sandwich and Rainbow opted for apple cider.
Scootaloo could make out Twilight Sparkle chastising her idol for drinking alcohol on an empty stomach. She managed to catch Rainbow Dash saying something along the lines of, “I’m not empty, I had a nice and moist Sparkle sandwich, earlier!” The mare said seductively.
Twilight Sparkle turned red and spat out some of her sandwich. She reached for a glass of fruit punch to wash away the contents of her mouth. “Dash!” Twilight complained, wiping her mouth with a hoof. Before Twilight could say anything else, Rainbow shut her mouth with her own and made the purple unicorn forget all about why she was furious.
“Wow,” Sighed Scootaloo in amazement. “That was a good one, I gotta write that one down.” She pulled out a notepad and pen and started scribbling away. “That goes to show, Dash has the best pickup lines!”
This was a very intimate and personal moment for those two, Scootaloo realized. And she was watching them like some sort of…stalker. No, not a stalker. She was just curious, really!
By the time Scootaloo had finished her appetizer, the mare from before came with her meal. The mare, she noticed was an earth pony, not a unicorn like most of the other restaurant servers.
“Here you go, madam.” The butler mare smiled and put down the large tray. She lifted the top with her mouth and revealed a large honey-glazed yellow squash, wrapped in deep-fried cabbage, and garnished with sliced eggplants and cucumbers. The roasted squash was still fresh from the oven as the flavorful smoke flew out visibly from the dish.
“Wow, this looks so delicious!” Scootaloo couldn’t help but drool at the meal before her.
“If you need anything else, don’t be afraid to ask.” The blue mare said softly before waltzing away.
“I wonder if I can eat all of this?” Scootaloo picked up a fork and started to dig in. Stalking, eh, observing her friends took a lot out of her.
Speaking of the two mares, Scootaloo momentarily took her eyes off of her meal to watched the mares again.
They, too, had their meals delivered to them. Twilight had ordered what looked like a cheese fondue with a whole assortment of vegetables and fruits to dip into. While Rainbow Dash, on the other hoof, had ordered a medium-rare pumpkin steak with barbecue sauce.
Who knew that the restaurant had pumpkin steak? It seemed a bit too fancy for that sort of southern take.
“Hey, Twilight, can I try some of that?” Rainbow had asked, peering over her mare-friend’s shoulder.
“Eh, sure, Rainbow. Do you want to try the celery or the tomato or the rose—?” Before Twilight could finish her question, Rainbow stuck a piece of her pumpkin steak into the small pot of cheese before stuffing it into her mouth.
“Mmm~tasty!”
“Rainbow!” Twilight shook her head, “You ruined the fondue, now it has barbecue sauce all over!”
“Sheesh, Twilight, it’s no big deal. All of it is going to end up in your stomach, anyway.” Seeing that her explanation was useless Rainbow Dash added, “Look, I’ll clean it up for you.” She leaned over the pot and stretched out her tongue and started to lap at the red saucy cheese.
Even Scootaloo was a bit taken by Rainbow’s apparent lack of table manners. She couldn’t help but giggle, though, she could see how Rainbow grabbed Twilight in her clutches.
“That’s even worse!” Twilight complained but started laughing when she saw Rainbow’s face covered with cheese in all kinds of places.
“Come on, try it! You’ll like the cheesy barbecue, trust me!” Rainbow ignored the cheese on her face and grabbed a chunk of the pumpkin, dipped it in the cheese, and tried to spoon-feed her mare-friend.
“I can trust Applejack, she’s the Element of Honesty. You, on the other hoof, are not. You are Loyalty but you love your pranks a bit too much for my taste.”
For the third time that night, Rainbow Dash interrupted Twilight, this time by stuffing the barbecue and cheesy pumpkin into the unicorn’s open mouth.
Twilight seemed confused as her eyes widened in shock and horror. She slowly calmed down and gave Rainbow a look that said that she wasn’t pleased.
Rainbow made a motion with her forelegs that said, ‘Go on!’.
Sighing, Twilight started to chew on the morsel and slowly swallowed. “It’s not as bad as I thought.” Twilight said with a small smile. “It was pretty delicious but don’t stuff something in my mouth at random! Celestia knows that you do too much of that in bed, already!”
At that, Scootaloo stopped eating her squash, dropping her fork. Her mouth hung opened as she absentmindedly drew a picture in her mind. Her wings grew rigid and extended outward.
From where she sat, she could see Rainbow Dash doing something similar. The prismatic-maned pegasus just had her mouth agape, stunned senseless.
After Twilight finished wiping her face of any gooey cheese or barbecue, she looked up from her napkin to see Rainbow’s shocked expression. “What’s wrong?”
She turned to look around to see a few other pegasi with similar expressions and wings scattered all over. A few unicorns had sparks coming off of their horns and the earth ponies had their coats puffed out with sweat. “Oh my.” Twilight blushed.
Apparently, Scootaloo wasn’t the only one listening in on the two’s love-making.
Rainbow Dash waved a hoof in the air, “CHECK PLEASE!”
“Wait, what are you doing?”
“When we get home, I’m so gonna plow that plot of yours until you can’t walk straight! You made me so hot!” Rainbow declared, making Twilight gulp.
Rainbow Dash couldn’t get out of there fast enough! She took a glimpse at the bill, pulled out a hoof-ful of bits before flying up and grabbed Twilight. “Keep the change!” Scootaloo could hear clearly as a rainbow flew overhead pass her.
Scootaloo raised a single wing. “C-Check please…!” She blushed, heavily.
The butler mare from before came by and dropped the check. She gave a small knowing wink before leaving.
Looking at the check, Scootaloo found that she was going to have to work overtime to get all of those bits back. After she picked up the check, she noticed that under it was a small note.

“Oh, my.” Scootaloo mimicked Twilight as she reached for her bits. She remembered Twilight’s perverted comment, making her wings spring back to life. “I’m gonna need my magazines, tonight.” She took a deep gulp.
She walked away with stiffness in her steps and empty pockets.
