Cold
Speaking my mind
Previous ChapterCelestia looked dead at me, an unamused expression plastered over her face. I just met her look with a glare, putting a hand on the podium for balance. My earlier rage wasn't entirely gone, and was screaming obscenities at Celestia.
"Are you going to answer me, Frosty?" Celestia asks, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Evidence was found that could help catch my homie's killer. There's no way in hell I'm gonna sit and do nothing. Especially when I was supposed to be the first person told about this!"
"I didn't have you informed because you were recovering-"
"Oh, so you kept me in the dark intentionally?!" My anger is almost boiling over at this point. I can feel my left eye twitch and veins in my neck bulging.
Traitorous bitch!!
The sound of approaching hooves reaches my ears, and Twilight stands between me and the princess, her face reflecting disbelief.
"Frosty, what's gotten in to you?!" Twilight asks. Finally, I boil over.
"What's gotten into me?! What's gotten into me?!?!?! I'll tell you what's gotten into me, the fact that you fucking horses think it's okay to murder a guy who did nothing to even upset you, then not tell his best friend when you've damn near caught the culprit!" Everyone, save for Celestia, flinches at the sheer venom in my voice. "You think we wanted this? You think he wanted this?! To be ripped away from his only family, the only life he's ever known, dropped on our asses in this fucking world we knew nothing about, then when we finally have a stable life here, get his throat slit?! BY ONE OF YOU SO CALLED PEACE LOVING PONIES?!?!?!"
"F-Frosty, please, calm down!" Twilight's eyes were brimming over with tears.
We're not finished yet, girl.
I look her dead in the eye and lower my voice, "I'll calm down when the murderer publicly has their wings ripped off and shoved down their throat."
"That's enough, Frosty!" Celestia cuts in sternly, her eyes narrowed dangerously.
"So, are you going to tell me who did it?!" I say challengingly. Celestia says nothing, Twilight looks away. "Didn't think so."
With that, I turned and started walking down the street, each step bringing a wave of dull pain with it. I didn't stop, though. The ponies quickly got out of my way. All except for one... Sparkler. Before I could tell her to get out of my way, she pulled me into a hug, catching me (and everyone else present) off guard.
"Frosty... I had no idea you were so hurt..."
"I'm not hurt, I'm pissed."
She just sighs, then looks up at me sadly. "Come on, Frosty. Let's go home."
