A long time ago, before even the first alicorn born, in a time where all races lived in peace, they decided to make sure this peace would last forever. To ensure their peace, each race would choose a champion, one that could represent their people while protecting those who needed them. This group of champions formed an order to keep harmony in the land and, for such, were known as the Knights of Harmony.

However, one enemy made them battle against each other. Their thrust grew thin and suddenly broke apart, each tribe now electing their own champions. The ponies and their three champions, though, kept their knights and they took in disciples, while other races slowly forgot about their once valued knights. The knights of Harmony then, became the order of the most powerful warriors of the pony nations. But even the ponies grew apart, fighting among themselves and separating their champions, and after a terrible battle against a powerful enemy, the order of the Knights of Harmony was completely lost. All but two knights were killed...
