The Watcher Ch.1 Awakening.

I faded into consciousness feeling a lot heavier than when I went out. I looked around and noticed that I was in a small stone room with bars on the windows and doors. At this moment in time I started hyperventilating because y'know I thought I had been fucking kidnapped of arrested overnight.

That was when I noticed what looked like a fucking horse in the other corner. Woah scratch that thought and praise the sun. This thing was a Pegasus......... Unicorn......... Thing. The hell? Is its..... Oh my god it's hair is made of an aurora. With the sun tattooed on each ass cheek.

By this time I noticed it had woken up and somehow hadn't noticed me yet, it looked around and that's when I assumed it and me had the same thought, why is it here. It slowly started to notice me, and I was not ready for what happened next.

"Where am I? What are you?" It asked in the most soothing voice you could ever hear from one that is terrified. I couldn't stop myself and answered in the weirdest way ever, which also brought me to notice what I was wearing.

"I am known as the Throne Watcher, me and my partner kept guard over the Throne of Want, waiting for either our king to return or for one more worthy to emerge." I was wearing the exact same equipment as the one that had caused me so much grief, in a cell, with a talking pegacorn. "I know not how I arrived here, this is certainly not Drangleic." She nodded in vague understanding.

"I am princess Celestia of Equestria. This appears to be an entirely different realm from wha I'm used to, I feel no connection to its sun." She spoke as calmly as she felt necessary. "It seems neither of us belong here, and we both have somewhere we need to be, let us depart."

She spoke with the authority of royalty and I felt compelled to agree with her statement we both rose and I went to the cell door, it was locked. I saw someone run by, he looked somewhat familiar, he tossed a key through the bars to me as he went. I didn't even have time to thank him before he was gone.

"Well that was peculiar." Celestia stated. I nodded and set us free from our room into the rest of the asylum. I was the throne watcher. In Lordran. Sweet.

We quickly found our way to what was surprisingly challenging to get passed. A ladder. She was quadruped so she wouldn't be able to climb normally, and there wasn't enough space for her to fly. I couldn't leave her so, I knelt and gestured for her to get on my back. She seemed embarrassed, but accepted.

Once we made it all the way up we noticed these giant doors. Naturally we pushed them open, and immediately regretted it. I spun back while a giant hammer crushed the area I was just in, I drew my sword and held it in front of me. It went to swing again and I dodged under it while Celestia flew over, kicking it in the face on the way over. Me and her were getting ready to strike it in the back. When the man from before leaped overhead. And brought down an axe on the fucking demon's head.

He jumped off and threw a fireball into its face during the descent. The shock knocked the thing off balance and Celestia bucked its right leg out from under it. As it fell I brought my sword up through its eye and the entire beast disintegrated instead of crushing me.

Me and Celestia were catching our breath while the other guy looked like he was just getting ready for a morning jog. He was in the middle of opening the door.

"Hey, who are you?" I called out. He just finished opening the door and ran to the edge of a cliff. He turned to us.

"The name's Vendrick, and I'm gonna put an end to hollowing." He said before falling off the side only to be caught by a giant fucking crow. Fucking show off.

"He said his name was Vendrick, is it common for your people to have the same name?" Celestia asked. I shook my head and she continued. "Nevertheless I suggest we follow the crow, you helped me, it's my turn." She knelt forward giving me easy access to get on her back. I was nervous because I thought my armor may be a bit heavy, but she just shrugged it off. Her wings opened and holy shit, that crow ain't got shit on her.

I had to hold onto her mane which I'm glad doesn't have nerves in it (although I don't know how I managed to grab it), as she broke the fucking sound barrier I looked behind her and it almost looked like she was farting rainbows, whaddafuq. We passed the crow and landed in the middle of Firelink Shrine.

Celestia POV

"Well now, aren't you an interesting creature." I followed the creepy voice to another biped dressed in chain mail.

"I am an alicorn, ruler of light." I said to the imp, deeply unsettled by his presence.

"Interesting, yes, very much so. Perhaps you will assist us, as light seems to be fading from this land." He laughed creepily for a moment. "Not that it matters, I doubt anyone could fix the curse." What's this about a curse, hollowing, is it the same? I look to Watcher, he doesn't seemed fazed, which means that this curse has been going on for a while. What is it? These are questions for once we've settled in.

"Let's set up camp here, it seems a good location to do so. It seems to be a crossroad of sorts." I hear Watcher say as he ignites the small fire in the center of the area. Vendrick drops down from the crow as it flies overhead.

"Not even going to ask how you flew that fast sunshine, you guys set up here, I'll go on ahead and see if I can open up a few more pathways." Watcher turned to him with a bewildered look on his face.

"You're not gonna rest?" He asked.

"The cursed don't get tired, at least not physically, besides I have a job to do." He said before scaling the side of a cliff.

"Alright then, well Celestia. If we're going to help eachother let's start here and get to know eachother." He said before offering me a seat next to him.
