Princess Celestia has a secret. She had no idea that she was with child when she turned Discord to stone, and he was the father. For over a thousand years, she has kept this half draconequus half alicorn boy, named Lonely, a secret, knowing full well how he would be treated by her subjects. Not to mention, she knew his father wasn't dead, and if - no, when - he came back, he'd try to use him if he knew.

Lonely's life was very true to his name. The only two ponies who knew about him all of his life was his Mommy Celestia and his Aunt Luna, and finds every pony else to be quite alien to him. His mother taught him an invisibility spell, so he could leave the palace every now and then, as well as memory spells, to use in case he's ever seen. He has gotten used to being alone all of his life.

So, when the secret is finally out, will he be able to cope with all of the attention he's getting?
