Chapter 1

A normal Day?

It was a nice day in Ponyville. The Sun was shining and everypony was enjoying the nice weather.

The weather ponies made good work today.

The marketplace was very busy today, the shop owners were opening all of their windows and many ponies were sitting around all the cafes. There were some fillies playing outside.

Away from all this stress, there was a purple unicorn enjoying the day.

Twilight was in the fields to relax, read a little bit and enjoy the sun. Unfortunately a rainbow coloured flash was flying in front of her.

“Whoa!”

Rainbow Dash was landing in front of her with a big smile.

“Hey, why are you so upset?”

Twilight asked.

“Oh nothing, just a little bit nervous about tomorrow.”

Rainbow had still a big smile at her face.

“OK, and what’s so special about tomorrow?”

Twilight asked with a confused look.

“Ah nothing, just that I’m get visited by SPITFIRE!!!”

Rainbow shrilled like a little fan girl.

“Wow, what a surprise!” Twilight smiled “And why is she coming to visit you?”

“Ah, I was just flying some goods to the Wonderbolts academy and she decided to bring me a little gift for helping them” she squeaked.

“Well, I hope you cleaned your house” Twilight said.

“Oh well, hehe, got to go. See ya’ later Twilight.” And with this sentence Dashie flew away with high speed.

Twilight giggled.

She was reading hear book for hours until a purple and green baby dragon was coming to her.

“Hey, Twilight. Are you still reading that boring book?” spike asked her.

“Spike!” Twilight looked at him serious “This book is about magical powers of the everfree forest. It isn’t boring” she told.

“Well it’s time for dinner now.” the hungry looking dragon said.

The sun was about to go down when Twilight got up and took her book in her bag.

“Allright, let’s go home and eat something” she said.

They were on the way home when a pink party pony appeared out of nowhere in front of Twilight.

“HI THERE!” she yelled.

“Aaah! Pinkie! Don’t do that again!” Twilight angrily looked at Pinkie Pie.

Pinkie was giggling a little bit. “I was right on the way to sugarcube corner to get some cupcakes for Dashie, but now you two are here and  I have so much to say because today is such a nice day and-” Pinkie was interrupted by a purple hoof. “Pinkie, calm down” Twilight said when she took her hoof down. “Oops, sorry” Pinkie giggled.

“Spike and I were just about to go and get something to eat. How about you join us?” Twilight asked.

“Oh thank you, but I have to visit Fluttershy, she wants to dinner with me and all her animals” Pinkie smiled.

“See you tomorrow!” Pinkie said in her high Pinkie- voice.

“Bye” Twilight answered.

“Now come on Spike, it’s late now.”

They went to the Golden Oak library and Twilight was cooking some nice food for them. Especially for spike she bought some Diamonds.

They ate until the sun was completely down.

“Ahh, that was delicious, wasn’t it?” Spike yawned.

“I think there is some baby dragon that needs his sleep” Twilight smiled.

“Yeah” spike answered. After helping Twilight with the dishes he was going upstairs to get some sleep. Twilight was doing some cleaning in the kitchen when she went to bed at 12 o’ clock.

Every pony was sleeping deep at this night.

It was very late in the night when black fog was coming slow but dangerously out of the everfree forest, covering everything in darkness…

At the next morning Twilight got up early.

She was going downstairs to get her some breakfast. Spike was sleeping deep in his bed and she didn’t want to wake him up.

Twilight looked outside the Window. It was a cloudy day.

She was just drinking some apple juice when someone was hysterically banging on her door.

*BANG, BANG, BANG*

Who could disturb her so early she thought.

Twilight got up and was just on the way to the door. When she opened it, an orange pony with a cowboy hat was standing in front of the door.

“Applejack, why can’t this wait until later!?”

Applejack looked a little bit worried when she started talking.

“Twilight, ah’ got bad news for ya’” she said.

Twilight made one step away to let Applejack come in.

“Wanna get some breakfast?” Twilight asked but Applejack refused “There is now something more important than this” she said with a serious look.

Twilight went her full attention to Applejack. “Ok, what happened so important?” Twilight asked still a little bit tired. Applejack started “Well, how could ah’ tell ya. Some ponies on tha’ marketplace were talkin’ about some strange phenomena yesterday night”.

“And?” Twilight was asking her.

Applejack continued “They were talkin’ about all pegasi disappeared last night. First ah’ was thinkin’ they were just jokin’ but then I went ta’ Fluttershy’s cottage ta’ see if she’s allright, she wasn’t at home. She left without tellin’ where she went. SHE NEVER DOES THAT’” Applejack was getting louder. “That does not mean that they were right. Why are you so sure?” Twilight answered. “Well, ah’ went ta’ see if Dashie is allright. I was runnin’ ta’ her house ta’ see after her. But s-she wasn’t there”. After Applejack was done telling her the story, Twilight was saying frightened “Well, then there’s just one way. We’ve got to find them! But where should we start?” Twilight looked a bit desperate. Applejack was looking at her “They were talkin’ about some strange fog that came out from the everfree forest”.

Twilight shouted for Spike “Spike, SPIKE?!”

A small sleepy dragon appeared at the stairs. He was looking a little bit grumpy. “What is so important, that you need now!?”

Twilight answered him “Bring my Bag and prepare some lunch, Applejack and I have to go for a trip”.

“Yes ma’ am” Spike answered.

They had a long way before them…
