Love Can create New Life

Nyx's eyes cracked open as a beam of light hit her eye lids. Her turquoise eyes blinked for a moment to adjust to the light. She looked around her room, her now constellation purple mane blushing across one of her eyes. Her mane had stayed that way since the nightmares. She didn't have them anymore but her mane just had to stay like that.

Her horn glowed as she closed the certain forgetting she had school. Then she felt a weight on her that keep from the feel of it jumping up and down as she lay down.

''Nyxie, Nyxie School time! School time!" yelled a happy and fully awake filly's voice. Nyx looked up to see her little sister. Her sister was a pegasus. She had a orange coat like her fathers but her mother's straight dark bluish-purple mane and tail with streaks of pink and violet. One of her eyes was blue, the same shade as her father's and the other was purple, the same shade as her mothers. Her flank was still blank.

''Misty! Go bug, mom and dad or even Gusty,'' Misty got up. Her full name was Love In The Mist but everypony just called her Misty. Misty had a unicorn twin sister called Gusty. They were identical in nearly every meaning of the word, they were some differences such as Gusty had her cutie mark which was wind blowing over some trees. It meant that her talent was using her magic to make wind and their ponies types.

''No their already up. All that's left is you, Nyxie,'' Nyx groaned even Crystal Shadow, her boyfriend's little sister wasn't as annoying. Oh well.

''Fine!'' She slowly got up stretching out her wings as she did. She trotted downstairs with Misty. Gusty was sat reading a weather book while Twilight was making breakfast. Flash was sat drinking some tea. She took her seat as Misty sat down next to her twin. After breakfast, Nyx trotted off to the high school that she and the CMC went to now.

They were waiting for her outside the gates. They smiled as she flow in.

''Morning, guys,''

''Morning, Nyx,'' At that moment a more teenage Shadow Bolt came flying in. His wings had darken over the years for no reason that anypony could figure out. They were not the light purple they were before, they were particularly black but still owned a glow of purple. His cutie mark was a dark lighting bolt.

''Morning Nyx,'' He landed and planted a kiss on his girlfriend's lips. She kissed back smiling.

''Morning Shadow,'' Said the alicorn. He smiled down at her. He was a load taller then her now.

''Should we go to our lessons?'' Nyx nodded. ''After you, Princess Nyx,'' Nyx smiled and walked in and to her classroom. There was gonna be a gala soon as it was near the end of the year. Their one was a basic gala since it was freshman year. Nyx was intrested but not as much as most of the teens in the school and most of the other mares.

As she grabbed one of her books from her locker which was inside her classroom, Diamond Tiara showed up. The mare hair had grown longer and although she still had a diamond tiara on, it wasn't the same one. This one was more sparkly.

''So, Miss Evil Nyx. Tell me what's it like to be Nightmare Moon reborn. I bet everypony hates you. You little lying brat. I bet Princess Twilight doesn't even want you now that she has 'real' foals,'' She put a huge amount of force into 'real' as to say that Nyx wasn't a real pony at all. Tears creep into the corners of Nyx's eyes at the comment. Nyx might as well been an alicorn princess but she had most of the powers of a full grown unicorn not alicorn so she couldn't just stop DT.

''N-no mommy does want me.....''

''And, I don't think that Shadow Bolt even loves you,'' said DT not even hearing Nyx. ''And don't even brother coming to the dance. You little evil lying brat,'' More and more tears fell from the alicorn's eyes.

''No, no. Shadow does love me. He does.....'' DT grinned and said.

''Just die. Leave everypony in peace!'' That when Nyx's sobbing turn into pure crying. ''When we sent you into the everfree, we never should have told Twilight. Then we wouldn't have had the eternal night that YOU created,'' She added more force to the you then she did in 'real'. More tears fell for the poor alicorn. Sliver Spoon came over and said.

''Yeah, If you had just died back then we wouldn't have had that'' The CMC walked over and hit DT in the face. SS was caught of guard by this and ran to help DT.

''Ugh Applebloom!''

''No ah ain't moving. After what you just told Nyx. Ah ain't moving. Ya hear me,'' DT glared at the apple family member.

''Of course I hear you.Your southern talking apple. I mean apple bucking wood maker! And no im not leaving bratty Nyx'' She pointed towards Applebloom's cutie mark after saying that.

''Mah cutie mark, may be nothing to do with who ah am but that doesn't matter as mah sister loves me still. That's all that matters to me,''

''Of course it has something to do with who you are. I mean all your family members have apple cutie marks or something related to apples,'' This angered Applebloom.

''So Miss Ah all rich, How would ya feel if ya had the same cutie mark as everypony else,'' Diamond Tiara contiued to glare at Applebloom.

''Oh well and Nyx remember who you are and that it does matter,'' More tears came from Nyx as DT walked away. Applebloom noticed this and helped her friend up saying.

''Don't listen to her. We love ya for who ya are,'' Nyx looked up at Applebloom.

''Really?''

''Does it look like ah lying cause ah ain't,'' Nyx nodded still depressed about what DT had said.

The night of the gala for the freshmen.

Nyx stood in her dress that was black with highlights of purple, Her headband was now a purple ribbon. Her wings were neatly folded on her side as she waiting for Shadow.

Shadow appeared wearing a black outfit with a purple tie.

''My mare would you care for a stallion to take you in and dance with you?'' Nyx giggled and said.

''Of course I would care,'' She smiled as he took her hoof and took her inside. The music started. Sweetie Belle was up on stage singing some love song. Shadow keep hold of Nyx's hoof as she placed her hoof on his side. They began doing the waltz. Sweetie Belle and the other CMC plus Twist smiled. Diamond Tiara however glared over towards Nyx.

Shadow and Nyx finished their dance as Shadow whispered something into Nyx's ear that made some tears fall.

''I love you,'' He said out loud before kissing the tears away.

''I love you too,'' She said as the two kissed.

''Do you wanna go somewhere different, out of the music a bit,''

''Sure,'' replied the alicorn. He nodded and led her out of the gala and towards his home. When they made it to his home. Shadow kissed Nyx and said.

''Nyx do you wanna do 'it' I mean I have been wanting to do it for a while'' Nyx thought for a moment before kissing him on the lips hinting for a yes. He smiled and they walked into his bedroom and got onto the bed. It was gonna be quite the night.
