In the year 2601, the Principality of Equestria was no more. Destroyed by a civil war from 2596-2600, the nation has been conflicted over what the next course of action should be. Should they trust another monarch, or will they lead their country to take advantage of others yet again? Should they establish democracy? Or a republic? Or perhaps a socialist state? The conflict is heated enough that people are killed for the control of what was once Equestria, Saddle Arabia, Gryphonia, Zebrica, Draconic Territories, Buffalo Confederacy and the Crystal Empire.

Add to this fire not just regular magic, but weapons designed to kill like no other has ever seen in Equestrian Sub-space, bore by those who had once fought one another, but formed a council of peace, only to be used as unwitting pawns by the leader of Equestria, Princess Celestia, and stuck in the remains of a country they had immigrated to.

But yet, there are those who bear hope. People such as a Doctor David Olsen, who calls for compromise between the warring factions, have gained enough traction that a convention has been called to create a compromising government.

The following is The Lunar Charter, the founding document of The New Lunar Republic of The Lunar Domain, a document that has stood the test of time, and one that has ended the conflict it was created to end.
