Gentle Shimmer

Luna and Sunset had been alone for a few hours already. Normally, they would have at least kissed once, but Luna hadn't even given a long reply to any of Sunset's questions. Sunset could feel the anger inside of her boiling over. But surely Luna wouldn't resist a little kiss… she grabbed Luna's chin and leaned in, but Luna pushed her away.

Wait a second… pushed her away?!

"What's wrong, Luna?" she taunted angrily, "Too scared?" Luna didn't answer, and this made her even angrier.

"Actually, Sunset, I've been questioning your methods for a while now. I do believe that I'll head back to Equestria now, where I'll  be safe. Goodbye." Luna said stiffly. She tried to stand, but Sunset pulled her down.

"What's this I see?" she murmured, running her fingers over Luna's face, "Hate? Anger?" She laughed. "Good! You're like me, Luna. You're just like me."

Luna wriggled out of her grasp, but Sunset grabbed her again. She poked her head onto Luna's shoulder and held a glass of wine to Luna's lips.

"Here, have a drink," she said soothingly, "and it'll all be better."

Luna pushed her away once again.

"Get out of my life, Sunset!" she screamed, "And leave me alone! Let me go home!"

Sunset stood up.

"How about… no," she said, and started to walk away. When she was near the door to the office, she turned back.

"Here, have a drink," she said, and threw the wine glass at Luna's head.
