The King of Dragons

Spike stood on the battlefield in his armor along with over 300,000 of the kingdoms strongest warriors while three divisions of The Equestrian Pegasus Elite Air Force took up positions above them.

Beside him Griffith and Twilight stood their ground as the minotaur army marched towards them before stopping 20 feet away.

"King Spike I presume, and you have Princess Twilight and former Princess Griffith I see." The huge minotaur said as Spike nodded.

"We have come to offer peace King Spike. Our leader, Empress Xen has sent her strongest daughter, Princess Yang to fight for our peace in glorious battle." He said as Spike nodded while a large female minotaur stepped out of the ranks wearing her armor covering most of her body.

Spike could see she was powerful and from the runes on her body she was able to use her inner magic at will. He would have to be cautious, he stepped forward nodding to the minotaur as she was tossed a large battle axe while Spike pulled his bladed double spear.

"Begin!"

Yang shot towards him with surprising speed while he stood his ground waiting for the last minute as she brought her axe down and dodged to the right coming down with the spear cutting into her leg making her grunt in pain.

He rolled out of the as she brought the axe where he was and popped back up to his feet charging Yang as she swung midways trying to cut him in half. He dropped sliding under her legs slicing into her legs once more, getting pained yelp from her.

As he got to his feet he was blindsided by a fist hitting him square in the jaw sending him tumbling to the ground.

'Sweet mother she can hit hard!' He thought as both sides roared for their side.

Spike rolled out of the way as Yang brought her hoof down cracking the ground leaving his spear.

Spike stood landing a solid punch to her stomach, making her bend around his fist before he flew up a little and then brought her hard into the ground.

He pulled his sword from his waist and leveled it at her throat while stomping down on her stomach making her cry out in pain.

"Yield, Princess Yang." He demanded only to dodge a blast from her nearly taking his head off.

"I won't yield to the likes of you monster!" She growled as he glared at her sheathing his sword as his eyes started to glow.

"Monster? I never tried to invade your homeland, you let a few thugs run rampant and then blame my whole race with war! But here we are fighting each other because you were itching for a fight! I should just kill you and take your country here and now, you think you puny army can stop my soldiers!?" He roared along with getting a cheer from his guards and troops.

"You hear that? At my command this could become a slaughter of your people, you want a monster I can give you the worst one you have ever dreamed of." He snarled as she quaked under the dragon king.

"Or you can accept my hand in peace and friendship, become a ally to the the dragons. Forge a new future for your people." He stated his eyes stopped glowing as he held his hand out to the minotaur.

"I-" She looked over at her fellow comrade who only stared at her.

"I will." She stated as many roared calling her weak.

"SILENCE!!!!!!!" Spikes voice boomed over the land as everything seemed to freeze at his command.

"You call her weak for accepting peace!? Then why did you come here? If you love war so much go fight the changelings or each other for mother's sake! I offer more than a grand fight. I offer you a lasting friendship with my kind so the killing can stop and for once in the last 2000 years true peace can become real!" He yelled using the Canterlot voice so all could hear him.

"There is no more reason for you to fight, my troops never wanted to fight you! They love a good fight as much as the next dragon, but enough is enough! How many broken families on both sides will it take before you deem that it was a good fight huh?" He said looking at each of the minotaur's as they began to talk.

"Be silent, the king is speaking!" Akhe roared making them clamp up.

"Let me ask you this. What will you do once I were to bring the full might to bear on your nation? Hm? What would you do then when your homes and lives are crushed, you're in chain and sold to slavers and separated from your families? Would it be a good fight then?" He asked as they looked around at each other.

"Thank about it, your homes, wives, husbands, children, families, and friends. All dead, dying, or sold as slaves and separated to the farthest corners of the world. What then? Would that be a glorious fight?" He asked as they all looked at each other.

"I'm done fighting." Yang said dropping her weapon into the mud as more and more dropped their arms before heading back to their lines to give the news while the large minotaur walked towards Spike.

"King Spike, on behalf of my people I want to thank you for- wait. I know you." He smiled taking off his helmet beaming at him and Twilight.

"Tell me, how is Fluttershy doing? She taking any of my new lessons?" He asked as Spike smiled and playfully punched the minotaur in the chest.

"Iron Will! I take it you were drafted into the armed forces?" Spike said as he nodded sighing.

"I wouldn't say drafted more like forced, we were getting beat so bad they were pulling male and females off the street." He said as Spike nodded.

"I see, and Fluttershy is doing fine. She has a kid now with Snowflake, one of her childhood friends. She has to put him in his place every once in a while but they're happy together." He said as Iron Will smiled.

"Thats good to hear and I'm happy for her. I'll have to stop by and congratulate her and see the baby." He smiled while Yang limped over to where Twilight was.

"Princess? How does the king know Will?" She asked as Twilight smiled.

"Years ago Iron Will taught one of my friends to be assertive, but it made her into a bully and hurt some of her own friends in the process. After her and Will had a talk Spike found him and offered some advice at the Grand Galloping Gala, after that they have stayed in contact until seven years ago." She mumbled the last bit as Yang looked at her concerned.

"What happened?" She asked as Twilight sighed.

"I don't really want to talk about it, lets just say it was a very hard time for a lot of people that knew Spike." She said as Yang looked back to see Spike and Will laughing like old friends.

"Well buddy, I got to get going. I'm sure my troops could use some R&R after all of this." He stated as Will nodded.

"I agree, and thank you Spike for talking some sense into them. I think they need to visit Equestria for a while and learn to curb their lust for battle, or go out into the badlands and fight the dune worms." He shrugged as Spike laughed.

"See you back in Equestria Will!" He called over his shoulder waving

"Yep see you later Spike." Will called back.

"Oh by the way, you should come by and see the school, I'm sure you will love it!" Will yelled as Spike smiled.

"I'll be sure to come by when I get the chance!" He yelled back before turning to his troops and smiled.

"Alright, commanders take charge of your soldiers and release them for a year of R&R. Dismissed." He stated watching his troopers beamed at their king while the commanders barked out orders while he headed to Yang.

"You know you don't have to-MMPH!" He didn't get to finish as he was pulled into a passionate kiss making his mind go blank. Yang pulled back and smiled down at him as he panted with a glazed look in his eyes.

"Sorry my king, but you beat me fair and square. So now I'm yours." She blushed before blinking at Spike who was busy trying to get his breath back.

'Wow, hard hitter and mind blowing kisser.' He thought before he felt himself be shaken a little bit.

"King Spike are you ok?" She asked as he blinked and smiled using his finger to motion for her to come closer.

When she leaned in Spike pulled her into a blazing kiss making her moan and her eyes roll into the back of her head as his long tongue invaded her mouth claiming it as his. He pulled back and looked at his handy work while they both panted.

"So are you ready to go home Yang?" He asked only to get a goofy smile from her.

"Oh yeah." She smiled pulling back from him still trying to get her breathing back and her mind to stop being fuzzy.

'WOW! I really got me a good one! Wonder how good he is in the sack.' She thought looking down at Spike licking her lips.

'Oh this can't get any better.' She thought as they made their way back to the dragon lands.

Later that night Spike sighed as he headed for the shower to the dirt and grim off him along with the blood that was on him.

He sighed feeling the water on his sore back and wings as he washed himself.

'Wow what a week, got two new girls along with bringing peace to my nation for the first time in over 2000 years. I wonder if my birth mother would be proud of the choices I made? Or even my father? Doesn't matter, I'll make my own path and any who stand in the way of me and my home will just have to get crushed.' He smirked stepping out of the shower drying himself off as he made his way to his bed.

'Oh man can't wait to get home, I wonder how the other girls are going to take it.' He thought letting his eyes drift closed. His ears perked up as he heard the door opened as the sound of claws clicking on the marble floor.

He felt the someone climb into the bed and straddle his waist before he looked up to see Akhe's glowing red eyes looking down at him.

"Akhe? What are you doing here so late? Is there something-MMMPH!!" He was silenced by her lips shocking him for a second before he started to kiss back deepening it as claimed the others mouth for themselves. Akhe panted as she pulled back and smiled at him biting her lip.

"When did this come on?" He asked as she rolled her eyes.

"Since nearly a year ago, you idiot. You really are slow on the pick up aren't you my king?" She asked diving down and attacking his chest making him shiver.

"Ah! Akhe, why didn't you just tell me before hand and what made you decide now was the best time?" He asked as she laid her head on his chest.

"I couldn't take it anymore, I stood by while all these outsiders were given happiness that I wanted with a dragon that could provide and love me for who I am." She said burying her face in his chest inhaling his scent as she gently drug her claws down his chest, smiling as she felt him shiver.

"I can't take it anymore, you were the first to ever show me true kindness, you were there for me, you listened to me and gave me the beauty of our friendship." She said starting to kiss her way up his chest nibbling on his collar bone.

"But, want to be more. I want to be with you Spike." She said looking up at him hoping that he would accept her.

"I don't know Akhe." He said as she looked down as regret and disappointment began to take her.

"I don't know if you can handle me." He smirked as her head whipped up at his smiling face before she bit him.

"You stupid jerk." She growled before slamming her lips into his as he moved the covers over them.

"I love you Spike, and I want to be yours." She said as she felt something begin to hotdog her butt and continue to grow till almost the top of her lower back.

"Mm is that for me my king?" She asked working her ass while biting her lip.

"Ooh. Wow Spike I never knew you were so big." She moaned as he flipped them over looking down at the gorgeous dragoness.

"Don't stare." She whimpered covering her chest while he smiled. He leaned down giving her a passionate kiss as her arms snaked around his neck pulling him deeper into her before they had to separate for air.

"There is no need to hide yourself from me Akhe." He said kissing and nipping his way down her neck, shoulders, and collarbone.

"Spike." She moaned his name as she arched into him.

Down the hall Seru smiled as she listened to the cries of ecstasy from her sister and king.

"About time you made a move sister." She sighed and headed towards the guest rooms where the griffon and minotaur were being held er staying.

'Like hell I'm going to let either of those to sleep in the same bed as my king." She huffed as Eingana walked up to her.

"So Seru, how is your regiment doing?" She asked.

"Happy to have some time with their families." She said as Eingana fell in step with her while they walked towards the guest rooms.

Spike sighed as he looked over to the sunrise letting his claws brush over Akhe's head spikes hearing her purr on his chest while keeping a grip on him like he would vanish if she let go.

"Never in our lifetime." He whispered watching as a small smile came to her face as she snuggled closer to him.

'Man what a week.' He thought before following his new lover into a deep sleep.

The train ride home was eventful to say the least. Twilight had spotted Spike and Akhe kissing earlier that morning and couldn't stop giggling every time she looked at them.

'Oh Rarity is going to have a field day with this.' Spike groaned but smiled feeling Akhe lean against him as he wrapped his arm around her seeing the giddy smile spread across her face.

"I'm glad you accepted me Spike." She said rubbing her now flat stomach knowing that she would be expecting soon and she couldn't wait. Spike had gone to the council announcing that for great service to the royal family Akhe, Seru, Eingana, among other soldiers that had done a great service to the nation were given the elite armor of the ancients.

Twilight was given a set of royal platinum armor for her help in ending the wars. While the all the pegasus that had come at the kings request were given medals as a sign of personal thanks from the king himself.

After that he announced that the wars were officially over with the kingdom as the victors. Far and wide the kingdom celebrated peace for the first time in centuries that lasted for a record two weeks.

As the celebrations died down Spike had announced Akhe as one of his queens and it was confirmed that she was carrying his child.

The counsel was outraged and denied the two to be together, but Spike was prepared and only smiled as he told the council that they themselves had agreed to crest her with the armor of the ancients, and now she was only considered one step below him and only answered to him.

With no other choice they had approved of their relationship in the end since any other ways they thought they could to him were shot down by Spike countering any loop holes they knew of but one.

(Flashback)

"Ugh, you are indeed your fathers son, King Spike." One of the great dragons sighed as he rubbed his temples.

"Thank you council drake." Spike smiled as they others groaned.

"There is one thing though my king." A female great dragon called to him getting his attention.

"Yes?"

"While most of our efforts to dissuade you on this relationship of yours with one of your subordinates, there is one thing you didn't count on." She smirked pulling out a large dusty book.

He could feel his sisters penetrating gaze settle on the book and he was pretty sure he could hear a moan escape her.

"And that would be?" He asked as she opened the book while Twilight whimpered.

"It says here that if the king so chooses to marry a subordinate after the passing of the ancient armor and the king has no offspring to take his place immediately should his death come. He is required to sire 12 offspring in three years time so the royal bloodline has more than enough to continue for generations to come." She said closing the book with a smile before looking at the king.

"So I have to have nine more children before the end of next year huh?" He asked as they nodded.

"If it helps the kingdom then I will be honored to carry King Spikes children." Akhe said as the council smiled and nodded.

"Thank you Elite Arms General Akhekhu, your service to the royal family is unquestionable. We are in a great debt to you." They said bowing to the surprised dragoness.

"Very well council members. We will meet in four months to discuss this marriage with the griffon princess." He said as they all hissed.

"Indeed we will our king, safe travels and happy baby making." the female great dragon chuckled as he smiled rolling his eyes.

"Um excuse me counsil dragoness?" Spike turned to see Twilight flying up to the dragoness that stopped along with the others to see what was going on.

"Yes?"

"Do you mind if I borrow that book?" She asked as Spike groaned while the most of the council chuckled.

"Of course princess, be sure to return it when you come back with your brother. It's one of my favorites." She said handing the large tomb to her as she took it in her magic.

"THANK YOU!!" With that Twilight flew out the door to begin reading her new book.

"She's never going to change." He groaned as Akhe leaned into him giggling.

"You wouldn't have it any other way my king." She said wrapping her arm around his waist and laying her head on his shoulder while their tails wrapped around each other as he wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Yep, wouldn't change her for the world." He smiled.

Spike sighed feeling more at peace than he had in a while.

"Hey Spike."

"Hm?"

"Why don't we see how good the beds are in first class?" Akhe asked nibbling on his ear.
