Lana walked into the tree house only to see a massive gaggle of ponies crowded inside, she blinked and then looked over at her comrades to see them standing not to far from where she was, she stood over by them looking at the mass of ponies.

"Ma'ams? Where did all of these ponies come from? I was only gone for exactly 13 minutes." She looked over at them as they continued to stare at them just blinking.

"No words." Was all Akhe mumbled while Seru continued to blink with a stupefied look on her face as Twilight walked past them before stopping at the look on the three's faces and smiled.

"Don't worry, you'll get used to it just try not to think too hard on it. Pinkie is on her own level and I've never been able to make sense of her, even the princess' are baffled." She giggled looking back at the three dragons that just stood there blinking she laughed and snapped her fingers in from of their faces as they shook their head.

"Oh lady Sparkle, when did you get here?" Seru asked only getting a laugh from her.

"I just came from the kitchen why don't you girls go find a hiding place before Spike gets back." She suggested.

"OH YOU CAN HIDE BY ME!!" The three dragons shrieked and before they knew it were crouching behind the bottom of the stairs with a giggling pink mare next to them.

"This is going to be great!" She squealed as all the lights turned off. The three dragons looked at each other and then the pink demon that was giggling next to them with the same thought on their minds.

'She'll be a great ally or the worst enemy the world has known if she were to be upset." They shivered as Pinkie turned to them in the dark and gave a vicious smile.

"You just remember that if you hurt our Spikey." She giggled but the dragons couldn't help but shiver at the look of murder in the mares eyes.

'She's scary!' They three huddled together in fear of the little mare.

"Come closer you silly fillies! You'll hit your heads when you stand to shout surprise for Spikey." She whispered wrapping a arm around them pulling them right next to her just when the door open.

"SURPRISE!!!!!" The crowd roared while the three dragons watched the happy smile that crossed their kings face making them smile as well.

'The king looks so handsome when he smiles like that." Akhe thought as she blushed when he looked at her and winked.

"Wow thank you everypony!" He smiled at their shocked looks while many mares blushed at his body.

"HEY!" A rainbow blur shot towards him poking him in the chest.

"Spike why didn't you say it was you on the cloud yesterday!?" Rainbow asked with tears in her eyes only to be brought into a bone crushing hug by the large dragon.

"Now that would have ruined the surprise wouldn't it Dash?" She sniffed burying her face into his chest only for a yellow blur slam into him making grunt and turn to see a sobbing yellow mare latched to him.

"SPIKE!" She cried as he smiled.

"Hello Fluttershy, I missed you guys." He said pulling them closer to him as they held onto him like he would disappear.

Spike couldn't help but smile as they squeezed him and didn't let go while he mingled with the crowd welcoming him back till he saw his old crush and smiled as she stared at him with a faint blush on her face.

"Spike." He smiled shifting the other to mares as he walked up to her towering over her before taking a knee and her hand kissing the back of it.

"Hello lady Rarity, it's good to be home and see your smiling face." He grinned watching the blush take her face and she looked away bashfully.

"Spike I-I-" She couldn't get it out before she jumped up wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I missed you so much!" She cried while he sat down holding them nuzzling the three.

"It's good to see you all as well." He smiled when he felt another set of arms around his neck from the back hearing giggling.

"DOG PILE!!!!" Was all he heard before the crowd jumped him laughing as they did but three younger mares and a mare with a cowboy hat that just stood there staring at the large dragon.

'Spike.' Applejack thought as tears ran down her face while she watched her friend laugh and easily wrap those powerful arms around many of his friends before everything calmed down.

The mare watched as Fluttershy refused to let go of him while Dash flew up with a blush on her face looking around embarrassed while Rarity moved back over to where her stallion was leaning into his side.

Spike looked up to see Applejack with tears running down her face and moved over to her taking her face gently in his large hands making her jump at the contact and looked up at his worried face.

"Are you ok AJ?" He asked using his thumbs to wipe her tears away, only to hear a sob escape her before she walked into his embrace crying hard while she felt him wrap his arms around her.

Applejack couldn't help herself as she cried holding the big dragon pressing her face into his stomach. It was like a family member had come back from the dead and after losing her parents, she was so happy to see him alive and well after so long.

Spike was a little shocked but smiled hugging the mare closer to him letting a few of his own tears fall.

"I'm home AJ, and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon."He whispered in her ear as she smiled but cried harder.

It was a while before Fluttershy and Applejack pulled back looking up at the understanding face of his while three young mares slammed into him crying out his name.

After a while and everyone had calmed down the party was in full swing while Applejack, Pinkie, and Twilight never left his side. He smiled feeling Pinkie lean into him with a contented sigh feeling his warmth wash over her till he got up.

"I'll be back in just a second Pinkie, I have to go pick up Derpy." He stated while she pouted.

"Aww but you're so warm!" She whined holding onto him tighter making him smile.

"I pinkie promise that I'll be back as fast as I can." He stated going through the motions as she smiled but sighed.

"Fine but hurry up, you're really comfortable." She groaned while he smiled and gave a salute taking off out the door and down the street.

Spike landed outside Derpy's house and knocked on the door hearing a yelp and a crash.

"DERPY!?" He yelled and rushed in to see the mare tangled in a blanket on the couch and a smashed lamp on the ground. He quickly walked over and untangled her just as Dinky came down.

"MOM! Are you ok?" She asked getting a nod from the mare as Spike took her hand and pulled her up.

"Yeah I guess I loss track of time and fell asleep." She stated looking down in shame before she heard Spike chuckle.

"Oh man that reminds me of the time I fell asleep in the middle of our delivery route when I was younger." He smiled with a light blush while he heard Derpy snort with laughter.

"I remember that! You would give me packages from my basket but I guess you found a comfortable spot and fell right to sleep, I didn't have the heart to wake you so I just took you to my house and put you to bed." She smiled while he blushed harder while Dinky grinned.

"Yeah I remember finding Spike curled up on moms bed and he just looked so comfortable that I couldn't help but curl up next to him." Dinky giggled with a small blush along with Spike's blush getting bigger.

"OK! Enough of my embarrassing moments, so Derpy you ready to go?" He asked getting a confused look from Dinky.

"Go where?" She asked getting a look from the two of them.

"Oh well we were going to go to a party to celebrate Spike's return home." Derpy stated while Dinky's eyes sparkled.

"Can I come!?" She squealed giving a pleading look to her mom and Spike.

"Sure I don't mind." He stated while Derpy nodded just when he scooped the two up.

"Well we should get going I have a Pinkie Promise to keep." He grinned walking out the door locking it with his tail before closing it and taking off like a shot down the road, with the two girls tucked safely to his chest never noticing both mother and daughter inhaling his scent with a dreamy look on their faces.

On a rooftop Akhe sighed shaking her head watching the three make their way back home.

'How are we going to protect you my king if you won't tell us where you're going?' She thought to herself taking flight back to the tree as well keeping the three in sight.

Spike made it back inside and felt something crawl up his back before wrapping her arms around his neck letting out a contented sigh.

"Much better." Pinkie sighed rubbing her face into his neck making him blush and a few mares growl at her.

"Pinkie, I'm surprised you're not with your herd. Didn't you invite them?" Spike asked.

"I'm not in a herd silly filly, that was my cousin Bubbleberry and his wife. They left yesterday after their visit." She chirped holding him tighter.

"Huh, ok then." He stated walking over to where AJ and Twilight were while both mares looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Comfortable there sugarcubes?" AJ asked the three mares only getting sighs from them while Twilight giggled.

"Well Spike looks like you found your first three candidates." She laughed watching his face explode with a blush.

"Candidates for what Twi?" Applejack asked as she blushed.

"I'll tell you later when there isn't so many ears around." She said getting a nod from Spike and the other girls as Rarity, Dash, and Fluttershy came up to them.

"Comfy?" Dash asked the mares getting nods from them just when his guards came to his side.

"My lord, I brought some refreshments for you." Akhe said handing him some cake and some of Pinkies special punch while the other girls looked confused from what they called him.

"Thank you Akhe. Please enjoy yourselves and have some fun! Mingle a little with the ponies here." He suggested as they smiled.

"You are your fathers son that is for sure." Lana said getting a proud smile from him as the mares smiled at him.

"What was my father like?" He asked as the guards smiled at him.

"We only heard stories from my father who was leader of the Royal Arms at the time, he told us that your father ruled fairly and had a heart of gold but was not someone that you wanted mess with when angry. He said that he was a great personal friend of his when they were younger along with your mother, he loved her very much and loved the dragon empire along with his subjects." Seru smiled looking at Spike's proud face.

"Your parents are probably rolling in their graves now looking at what has become of their once glorious empire. But with you here now and will be taking the throne soon, the dragons will be lead into a new golden age and unified once again under one banner." Akhe smiled watching the fire of determination blazing in his eyes.

"I'll be sure to lead my people into an age of peace and prosperity that all races will look up to as they should." He stated getting proud looks from the dragoness' and his friends.

"I'm sure you will make a great king Spike and lead your people into a new age well above the rest of us." Twilight smiled nuzzling his cheek.

"I'll try my damnest to do it." He said just as two flashes went off in the middle of room showing Princess Celestia and Luna who blinked seeing three spears in their faces.

"At ease ladies, it's Princess Celestia and Luna. They are not a threat." He said while the dragoness' backed up by his side while he got up with Pinkie, Dinky, and Derpy still clung to him while he looked down at them.

"Princess'." He greeted bowing a little along with them.

"King Spike, it's good to see you alive and well after all this time." Luna smiled looking at the mares.

"I don't believe we have any room to properly show you how happy we are to see you friend." She giggled while he blushed.

"Ladies make room for the princess huh?" He said to the two mares who gave a sheepish smile and let go of him regretfully while Luna pulled him into a bone crushing hug that he was all to happy to return.

"We are so happy to see you home." She said before pulling back feeling a bit cold all of a sudden.

Spike turned to Celestia a little worried while she stared at him with a calculating gaze.

"Politics can wait till I have taken the throne princess." Spike stated snapping her out of her thoughts while a small blush went to her cheeks for being caught before she felt him pull her into a hug much to the shock of everypony around them but Twilight.

"Momma's drake." She whispered watching as Celestia started to sob holding him once more as she nuzzled his face.

"Oh Spike I'm sorry, I missed you so much." She cried not caring if her subjects were there as she felt her little baby dragon in her arms once more after so long before she burst into tears of joy.

"Shhhh, it's ok mom I'm not going anywhere anytime soon." He cooed to the goddess running his claws up and down her back while holding her close to him as she cried holding onto him for dear life.

After a while she pulled back with a smile wiping her tears looking up the powerful dragon in front of her now.

"I'm so happy you're home, now I believe this is a party correct? So why don't we-

"PARTY!!!" Pinkie screamed from Spike's shoulder getting a cheer from everyone.

Meanwhile deep in the dragon lands a black dragon rose from the news of one of his spies have just sent him.

"So one of the royals still live and has been living in Equestria this whole time. Well played young king." He stated looking over to one of his spies.

"Keep a watch on the young king and report his movements to me, I want to be the first to greet our new lord when he returns home for the last time." He chuckled getting a nod from the spy.

"At once Lord Zu." She said flashing away as the dragon sat back down with a calm look on his face.

"Lets see if you're just as powerful as your father boy." He mused.

The next morning Spike woke up to find Celestia, Derpy, Twilight and her friends, along with Dinky and his guards all around him near the fireplace making him smile while blushing at where he found Pinkie, Derpy, Dinky and Akhe. Derpy and Dinky were snuggled into his sides while Pinkie was in a little ball on his chest and Akhe was using his arm as a body pillow.

'Oh man, and I have to pee really bad to.' He thought trying to move only to get groans and whimpers from the girls making him sigh.

'Sorry girls but I really need to go.' He thought pulling up some of his power and sank into the floor before coming back out inside the bathroom from the wall to take care of business.

Back in the living room Pinkie stirred no longer feeling the warmth from Spike making her moan.

"Spike? Where'd you go?" She called out to him sleepily just as she heard the toilet flush making her giggle a little. She looked around seeing all the girls that were snuggled up to Spike getting a little lustful grin from her.

'Oh happy fun times in the future.' She squealed inside before she came up behind her dragon.

'Mm that sounds nice, you will be mine Spikey. No more Rarity to get in the way and you've grown up and filled out so well.' She thought eyeing the muscle on the dragon in front of her licking her lips slipping her hands around his waist feeling him jump to her touch getting a giggle out of her.

"Oh good morning Pinkie, I didn't wake did I?" He asked while she nuzzled into his back making him blush.

"My warm pillow left and the cold floor didn't agree with me." She smiled up at him as he rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah sorry but I really needed to go." He said getting a little giggle from her.

"So do you need any help with breakfast?" He nodded and the two got to work preparing a feast for everypony just as Akhe walked in yawning.

"Good morning my lord." She said rubbing the sleep from her eyes before spotting Pinkie who was a little close to her king.

'What is she up to?' She thought as the mare turned to her and grinned while Spike smiled at her.

"Good morning Akhe, pull up a chair. Do you want some coffee?" He asked while she kept looking at Pinkie nodding.

"No need to trouble yourself my lord." She smiled just as he brought her a cup.

"No trouble at all my dear, you have a long day ahead of you along with the rest of you girls. Your sister will be going with you while Lana stays with me so she can begin my training, if you need to take some of my gems to pay for the house that the two of you will be hunting for." He stated as she went wide eyed.

"You will give up some of your horde!?" She shrieked as Pinkie giggled.

"Spikey doesn't need a horde silly filly, Spike only cares about his friends and that they're well taken care of! Besides if it's going to a good cause then he won't think twice for something like that." She smiled up at him as he nodded.

"Couldn't have said it better myself, the truth is Akhe I was brought up around books and such and I never really saw the need to keep those types of material things when I have the love of my family and friends to keep me warm at night." He said smiling at the pink mare beside him as she blushed and bumped her flank to him.

"Aww Spike that's really sweet." She giggled while Akhe saw something sparkle in the mares eyes as she looked at him.

'No way.' She thought just as Derpy and Dinky walked into wrapping their arms around him snuggling into his back making him blush.

"Where did you go Spike, you're comfortable." Dinky mumbled while Derpy flew up to him wrapping her arms around his neck.

"You smell good Spike." She sighed breathing in his scent.

"Morning yall." Applejack came in rubbing her eyes while Pinkie waved to her friend along with Derpy and Dinky who greeted her with a 'good morning'.

Akhe narrowed her eyes at the three mares and how they were way to close for her comfort to her king but didn't say anything since he looked like he didn't mind at all.

"Hey Derpy could you make some of your awesome muffins this morning for everypony?" He asked while she groaned a little as having to let go of the warm dragon.

"Ok." She said floating over to begin her own baking while he turned to Dinky.

"Hey Dinks could you help with the gem bacon and eggs for my main dragons when the rest wake up?" He asked while she sighed and nodded detaching herself from him to start her work.

Akhe smiled a little now that he wasn't being so crowded by the mares.

'None of you could handle such a dragon like my king so don't bother.' She smiled when she saw Pinkie look at her with a cocky smirk on her face.

'And you can?' She heard getting a shocked look when the mare giggled as Akhe began to picture herself under Spike as he dominated her feeling her face light up with a blush and her wings twitch.

'How long has it been since I had a real mate?' She asked herself looking down at her coffee.

Pinkie smiled and looked back at Spike licking her lips as the others came in.

'You will be mine Spikey, you can count on that. I've wanted you since you found me after my last bad breakup.' She thought thinking back to when he came to her rescue.

(Flashback)

Pinkie sighed as she laid down on her bed, she could feel where her tears had trailed down her face. Pokey had just dumped her saying she was just too much of a handful for him and immature to be around anymore.

"Pinkie? It's Spike, Mrs. Cake said that you were up here." She heard her favorite little dragon friend through the door. She smiled a little knowing this was what she should have expected from her friend, as soon as any trouble was causing any of his friends he was always by their side.

"Can I come in?" He called through the door.

"It's unlocked Spikey." She told him trying to sound like her usual self but failed miserably.

She watched him walk in and was immediately by her side pulling her into his chest catching his scent that she just loved so much while she wrapped her arms around his toned body and cried into his shoulder.

She didn't know how long she was crying but when she looked up it was dark out and she was in Spike's lap on her bed while he ran his claws through her long straight hair.

"Spike?" She called to see if he was awake and found his glowing green eyes looking down at her and a small smile on his face.

"Hey Pinks, you ok?" He asked wiping her face clear of tears and snot while she blushed and nodded.

"Yeah I'm ok now Spikey, thanks for being here for me." She sighed nuzzling his stomach feeling him chuckle a little bit.

"I'll always be here for you Pinkie, it's what friends are for." He said.

Something about what he said Pinkie didn't like, not one bit at all. She laid there just feeling the warmth from his body as she started to drift off to sleep.

"Hey Pinkie?"

"Hm?"

"Well I was wondering, since Pokey was such a dick to you and stood you up on your date. How bout I take you and treat you to a night out on the town?" He suggest as her face felt like it was on fire.

"Spike you don't have to do that! Breakups happen and-Mphm." She was silenced and looked up at the smiling dragon.

"I want to Pinkie, you're my best friend and you were there when Rarity shot me down and I want to do something nice for all the help you were then and because I hate seeing a beautiful mare cry." He smiled while she felt like she was about explode from how hot her face was at the moment.

"Uh, um are you sure Spikey? I don't want to be a bother." She whimpered till she felt him pull her up and made her look at him.

"Pinkamena Diane you are not and never will be a bother to me. You’re beautiful, compassionate, kind, sweet, and go out of your way to make your friends happy. So don't ever think that you are a bother, not now or ever again." He stated with a very serious expression on his face.

Pinkie just stared at him for a few seconds looking into his eyes for any kind of lies and when she couldn't find any she couldn't help herself as she smashed her lips into his moaning as she felt his tongue wrap around hers before she pulled back, both panting.

"Thank you Spike, nopony has ever said something like that to me before." She smiled blushing hard and could feel the heat coming off him as well letting her know he was blushing as well, but the smile on his face told her he wasn't mad at all.

"Your welcome Pinkie and I meant every word of it." He smiled while he felt her lay on his chest and nuzzle his neck.

"So when do you want to do this?" She asked while she ran his claws down her back making her shiver.

"How bout next week when you're off and AJ and I are done with harvesting, say around 7:30 morning?" He asked getting a nod from her.

"Sounds good." She said pecking him on the cheek as he started to get up but she held him down.

"Pinks?"

"Stay with me please." She whimpered.

"Of course." He said wrapping his arms around her and fell back onto her bed.

(End Flashback)

Pinkie blushed at the memory remembering how he held her the entire night keeping her safe and warm. She never felt that way before.

'Then before we could he disappeared for seven years because of that stupid dragon.' She growled till she felt a large claw on her shoulder.

"Hey Pinkie I just thought of something, do you remember the day that we were going to have, just the two of us before I left?" He asked while she looked at him shocked.

"Well I was wondering if you would like to still do that?" He asked while a wide smile threatened to split the mares face before she latched onto him.

"YES I WOULD LOVE TO!" She yelled giggling like mad mare hopping up and down in place.

"Ok so how bout we start when you're off from work." He suggested as she nodded.

"Kay!" She beamed with a blush on her face.

'Just one more step closer, I know that he still thinks for this as a friends date but I'll show him.' She thought while a mother, daughter and dragon growled.

'You won't take him away that easy Pinkie Pie.' They thought watching the giddy mare finish dishing out the last of the plates of food.
