Fluttershy is very OOC in the second chapter and honesty. I created this to see how fucked up my mind is and I think it's pretty fucked up....or not. So enjoy!
Broken And Caged
Fluttershy trotted along the road inside the Everfree Forest. Smelling the beautiful roses budding from the bushes mixed with the fresh air, she couldn't help, but smile. She hummed a soft tune and stopped as she spotted what she came outside for. A bush acting as the host to a peculiar flower with rainbow colored petals, only known as the ‘Rainbow Flower,’ which is extremely rare in Equestria.
She began to gingerly plucking the flowers out the bush one by one, putting them in the brown basket beside her hind legs for her to take home. “What a beautiful day,” she commented, sniffing the air. “Too bad Angel is too sick to come out and spend a day out here.”
A loud and painful moaning sound caught Fluttershy’s attention. Turning her back to the flower bush, Fluttershy looked around to find what was making that sound. She soon just shrugged it off as her imagination and turned back around to resume picking the flowers, but kept her guard up just in case. “I’d better hurry up, Angel is probably worried sick.”
Eventually putting the last flower into the basket, Fluttershy promptly picked the basket up with her teeth and began to quickly trot away from the bush. She kept looking behind her to find that the creature who was moaning followed her. “Oh celestia, please help me!”
Turning back towards the direction of her cottage and breaking into a gallop, Fluttershy tripped on a thorn stuck in the ground and fell into a nearby bush. Feeling a great pain in her wing, Fluttershy whimpered as she got up from the cushioning plant. She looked up and gasped at what she saw.
A yellow pegasus with a pink mane and butterflies as her cutie mark laid on the ground. Her breathing was faint and weak. She was covered in cuts and bruises, with blood seeping out of her mouth. Fluttershy was staring at herself dying on the floor. “Oh…dear.”
Acting on her nurturing instincts when it came to a wounded animal, Fluttershy briskly trotted to the creature lying on the ground and knelt down to its level. “Don’t worry. I’m here to help you.”
“My… friends… they’re in—” A blood soaked cough interrupted the distraught mare, the warm liquid splattering onto Fluttershy’s face.
Slowly wiping the blood off her face, Fluttershy looked down at her hooves now covered in her clone’s blood. Her hooves began shaking at the sight of the gushy red fluid, and small beads of sweat began to form on her head as she began to panic. “AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!”
Backing away from the body, Fluttershy slammed her back into a tree behind her. The hard wood scratched her back, sending a small sensation of pain down her spine. “Okay Fluttershy, you can do this. Just help the poor…me.” She trotted back to the body and placed her hooves on its shoulders.
She began dragging the mare’s body towards her cottage. The weight of the mare was proving to be a challenge for Fluttershy. Stopping to catch her breath, Fluttershy wiped the sweat from her head and resumed dragging the mare’s body.
“W...Where are you—”
“Please don’t speak,” Fluttershy interrupted, and cleared her throat afterwards. “You need to save your strength.”
Seeing her cottage only a couple minutes away, relief soon washed over Fluttershy’s face. “Don’t you worry. We’re almost there.”
Another cough escaped the mare’s mouth. Nodding her head, she spoke. “O...Okay.” Her voice sounded lifeless and weak. Closing her eyes, the mare’s down head dropped down and she seemed to have stopped breathing.
Fluttershy shook her head. “No, no, no! She panicked as the mare stopped breathing and her body felt cold in her hooves. “Please be alright!” Laying the mare down on the ground, Fluttershy covered her mouth, almost vomiting at the sight of the mare’s bloody muzzle.
She held in her breath, and their lips met in an effort to breathe air into the mare. Breaking the kiss, Fluttershy held her breath once more before kissing the mare’s lips again, growing more desperate with each attempt.
Finally, the mare woke up, coughing up some blood from her mouth, which splattered onto Fluttershy’s face again.
She laid her head back on the ground as she closed her eyes.“Thank… you.”
Wiping the blood off her face, Fluttershy smiled. “No problem. Please, just don’t speak anymore or you’ll fall asleep again, and I might not be save you again.” She let herself calm down a bit before she continued dragging the mare into her cottage, shutting the door behind them.
Hefting the mare onto the couch, Fluttershy covered her with blankets, then went into the kitchen. Millions of things ran through her mind while she searched through her cupboards: Should she tell her friends? What would they do? Why doesn’t she feel bad for the creature?
Shaking it off, Fluttershy poured herself a cup of water and gulped it down until the cup was left empty, sitting it on the counter.
Her heart beat rapidly against her chest, buckets of sweat soaking the blanket on the bed. Her body was thrashing around in the bed as if she were trying to escape from a horrible creature. The next morning, Fluttershy woke up...
She woke up screaming.
