“Draw” Celestia says, also looking a bit nervous to the massive giant on the stallion's side of the field, looming over both players, it hasn’t moved since its invocation. “I normal summon Celestial Knight Galdred in defense position, this time activating its first effect, power of the fallen!” the familiar stallion again appears, this time raising a massive shield and glowing, this time a lighter blue, “when this card is summoned, it gains 200 ATK and DEF points for each Celestial Knight in my graveyard, there are currently three Celestial Knights in my graveyard, so it gains 600 ATK and DEF, now, I activate my card “Call of the haunted”, allowing me to summon Celestial Knight, Fendragon from my graveyard.

“Sorry ma’am, that is not gonna happen, Halberd Cannon, do your thing, Preventive Strike!” Second Chance interjects, pointing to the card, also the giant moving for first time in the duel, pointing one of it's massive arms towards the trap card.

“What” The solar diarch says, the mechanical titan on Chance's side of the field taking aim, and then throwing it's javelin towards the resurrected stallion, piercing it in half and destroying it and the trap card.

“Halberd Cannon’s effect can be used in mine or my opponent's turn, once per turn, if you summon, my monster can negate it, and because it negates the monster’s summon, you can’t activate Fendragon's effect, am I right?” Celestia was shocked, not only her opponent has prevented the summoning, but he has crippled the strategy of her deck.

“I end my turn” Celestia says, looking a little offended.

“Ok then, let’s finish this, shall we?” Second Chance says, then turns to the crowd, “sorry fellas, but when I play, I play to win, Celestia has been a very good opponent, but now, I end this duel, draw! “ Smiling widely, he looks at the crowd and then bows to the solar alicorn.

“I normal summon “T.G Catapult Dragon”, with its effect I can special summon one lvl 3 or lower tuner monster from my hand, so I special summon “T.G. Jet Falcon” and “T.G. Warwolf is summoned because a special summon of a lvl 3 or lower monster.” again the dragon, the wolf and the bird monsters appears in Chance side of the field, “I tune up my Catapult Dragon and my Jet Falcon”

“You can thrust in the Tech Genius strength, because it can open a door to the future, Synchro summon, T.G. Power Gladiator!” another stallion makes its appearance next to Chance, wielding an giant axe and a light made shield

“Then I activate the continuous spell card, TGX300, all the monsters in my side of the field gain 300 ATK points for each T.G. monster in the field

“This is the end, Battle, Power Gladiator, attack Galdred, Power thrust!” the stallion lifted the axe and smash the crouching pony, breaking the shield of it and some of the pieces hitting Celestia.

“Power Gladiator can do piercing damage, meaning that no matter if your monster is in defense position, you still will have the difference as damage, now, Halberd Cannon, Direct attack, Mega Blow!” the giant finally moves, aiming both weapons on its back to Celestia, and after a little charge firing a devastating dual beam towards the solar monarch.

A fiery explosion engulfs the solar mare side of the field.

CELESTIA: 4900 – 4900 = 0

WINNER: SECOND CHANCE.

The monsters on Chance side of the field quickly disappears, leaving both duelist in the middle of the town square, however, all the ponies were stamping the ground and cheering wildly, Celestia with a beaming smile, flap her wings and land near Second Chance, wich in turn bows respectfully towards the monarch.

“Second Chance, you are a worthy opponent, no matter if I lost today, I have had a lot of fun, any help you could need with your company or with this technology, myself and my sister will be glad to provide it” Celestia states, again the crowd begins to stomp the ground, and a lot of it approaches the two duelists.

“Thank you, your highness,” the stallion says above the crowd’s cheers, “but I want to extend my gratitude to all my new friends: Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike and Twilight, my partner and also CEO of Kaiba corp, Lonely Tears and the others in Manehattan who provides the components for the duel disks, and I gladly will answer all the questions that all of you have about the game or the technology.

Two days have passed since then, all the town still thrilled about the duel and congratulating the only stallion in existence who has beating the solar monarch (figuratively), however, things in Ponyville again were settling, except for one detail. As soon as the princess defeat has been announced, companies from all the Equestria (even some from Gryff and Zebrika) had come to the quiet town in order to get something about the technology or the game, however after a little incident regarding the newest of the Cutie mark Crusaders, a gallon of paint, and some feathers, Second Chance had announced that the game would be first developed in Equestria, and all the other countries interested in it will have to wait. Also, a couple of Canterlot printers will aid in the developing of the card game, once Second Chance have decided where the main office of his company should be.

That afternoon Second Chance, Nyx and Twilight where relaxing on a park near the library, the newest member of the CMC was playing with Chance with one of the many decks the stallion had.

“Now I summon fortune lady, Dark in my side of the field, and I can do a direct attack” the filly shouts excitedly, after a little calculation, she gasped, and began to do a victory dance around the stallion“I win, I win against the stallion who has defeated Princess Celestia.”

“Don’t you get cocky squirt, I let you win” Second Chance says, clearly annoyed, “but you get the grasp of the Dueling Monsters, and I want to give you one gift.”

“Really?” Nyx says, his eyes sparkling.

“Really, you know that when I finish the building of my company, I get the printers for expanding the game?” when the filly nods, the older pony continues “all the other ponies will be playing this game, however, I want to give to you that deck.”

“You really mean it?” Nyx says, when again Second Chance nods, she began to jump all over the place, giggling and then, when she stops to catch her breath, she began to examine her new deck, both Twilight and Second Chance approaches from behind the filly.

“She is very happy, Thank you” says Twilight.

“Yes!, thank you daddy, this is the best gift ever!”

“Heh, don’t mention it, little one, go ahead, I need to talk with your mother” the white alicorn says, then, when the Nyx scampered off, he faced Twilight.

After the confrontation with Celestia, Second Chance takes notice that Twilight's attitude towards him changed slightly, the librarian was usually clinging a little more to the stallion, and also she has this dreamy eyed look towards him each time he was doing something, and when he asked for something, the purple pony usual clumsiness was multiplied tenfold. The same could be said about the stallion, all their mutual friends usually comment on this, but both ponies denied this new developement, until today.

“Twilight, I suck in speeches and I am a very insecure person, however, this days have been one of the best days of my life, I don’t want that to end, however, first I want to… I-I mean, Twilight, do you want to be my m-m-marefriend? When Second Chance lifts his head, he founds that Twilight has both fore hoofs in her mouth, a very shy smile and a blush in her cheeks, and some tears in her eyes.

“Sure, I love that, Second Chance.” The purple mare says finally, embracing his new coltfriend, and giving him a kiss in the cheek.
