Not Ready For That!
Chapter 4: Annnd Back Here...
Previous ChapterSo getting hit by the most powerful weapon in Equestria and somehow surviving hurts. It was an experience that I would not like to go through again. All I could see was lavender, light blue, green, yellow, orange, and pink swirls curving around us. If it wasn’t hurting as much as it was, (which was much worse that the grenade incident) then it would have been pretty damn cool.
At some point the pain was so bad, I fell into unconsciousness.
I awoke to see darkness as the sky. I immediately knew where I was; the moon. It was the same spot I had been when Nightmare Moon summoned me back to the palace. I hadn’t managed to walk that far because I was only here for about an hour. I still walked about three miles before going back, but I hadn’t found anything out here; just white sand.
In this visit I was still alone. I thought that Nightmare Moon would be here with me but, she wasn’t. After pondering on this for a few minutes, I realized something. I was in the exact place I left, so Nightmare Moon was most likely at the spot she left.
With that, I resumed my little, “ADVENTURE TIME” walk. Just to inform you, on the moon there is absolutely no air, so nothing moves. That includes my footsteps from before. Ok I know what you are thinking, “Well if there is no air then how are you still alive?” Ya, I have no answer for that. I gave-up on logic after Pinkie Pie was introduced, so just shut-up.
Anyways, after about thirty minutes of walking my mind started to wander off form the boredom. Even though I was the first human ever to find a new life and the first human ever to be on a moon’s surface with no suit, I was still board. All you can do for the first five minutes is either panic or become ecstatic, after that you just can’t do anything.
“So…this sucks.” I mumbled under my breath.
“Yes well try being stuck up here for a millennium.” An unknown but still familiar voice called out inside my head.
“I can’t, I’m not immortal so suck it,” I began to explain; “I will be dead within three days because of no water. Ha!”
The voice in my head let out a cute little chuckle before talking, “Well I can keep you alive as long as I please. It would be torture for you unless you can withstand the pain of dehydration and starvation every day. I would be most impressed if you did.” Once again the voice let out a cute chuckle. Wait…why is that cute?
“Ok well that is very cruel of you to do that. Also, can you please explain how my conscience can keep me alive? You are just a voice in my head.”
“Oh?” The voice grew agitated. “Is that all I have become in the past years, a voice? The one that nearly created eternal night is just a voice now. Do you know who I am!?”
“Not a clue,” I stated bluntly. “I have only been here for one night so the only ones I know are Princes Celestia, Luna, the six bearers, and one griffin that I nearly killed about two hours ago.”
The voice let out a defeated sigh before continuing the conversation, “Then let me fill you in.”
“Please do conscience.”
“First, I am not your conscience, I am Nightmare Moon and yo-”
“Wait! You’re that crazy mare who dumped me on this rock when I was eating breakfast?! You bitc-”
“AND YOU WILL STOP CALLING ME CONSCIENCE! You will call me Nightmare Moon.”
“Yea… can you tell me why you sent me here in the first place and why you are kind of making me your little puppet?”
A dark purple fog then appeared in front Nick. It wasn’t like fog when it was spread out were you could not see, it was just all compacted into a circle. Actually it was so thick that you could not even see through the thing.
“ENTER!” Nightmare Moon Commanded.
“Ok, she wants me to enter her little floating fog. Two things can happen if I go into it, one; she will just kill me on the spot, or two; I am going to hang-out with Nightmare Moon .It will probably be the later one considering that if she was capable of keeping me alive after I am supposed to die then she could have just killed me now. Then if I denied her two things can still happen, one; She will leave me alone and I will just die after a few days, or two; she will get mad and kill me… like when I denied Emma the chance to go out with me.” This thought made Nick chuckle at the past memory.
Last year when Nick was thirteen Emma was a girl (who like many other girls) liked Nick… a lot. Emma was different from most other girls because instead of just texting Nick, she had the guts to actually talk to him. That and her being Nick’s stalker made her different.
Their conversation was short but in the end it was the worse conversation Nick ever had.
“Hey Nick!” Emma shouted while making her way to Nick.
“The answer is no.” Answered Nick.
“What?! I didn’t even tell you anything yet! Emma was now making a pouty face from the frustrating answer.
“James told me you were going to ask me out. The Answer is no, I’m going out with Kerry.”
“She’s my sister!”
“That’s why I’m confused about her not telling you… anyways the answer is no.”
After hearing Nick not only denied her but also tell her that he is going out with Kerry, her sister, she was outraged. Nick quickly noticed the glare she was giving him and decided to run. The glare wasn’t really the scary part; it was how her eye was twitching.
The next two to three hours was just Nick running from a twitchy eyed Emma.
“Hello? Nick? Niick? Niiick? NIIIICK!” Exclaimed Nightmare Moon, “Are you coming in?”
Nightmare Moons voice quickly puled Nick from his thoughts.
“Wait what… oh right, portal thingy.” Nick then shrugged, “Well if you wanted me dead you would have killed me already so… YOLO!”
With that Nick quickly hoped through the portal… that is of course if you consider the CoD Black Ops dolphin dive a hop.
