Dragon Ball: Equestria

  Goku woke up on bale of hay, inside what must be the barn he dropped in front of. Trying to rise was useless. Every inch of his body was burning, and screaming out pure agony, which clouded his vision. He could barely part his cracked lips as he rasped out for help.

  "Anyone out there? Hello???"

  It seemed like five minutes had passed before he heard hooves clopping outside the barn door, followed by voices.

  "Are you sure you can fix him up Twilight?"

  "Well AJ, I did read some about human anatomy and basic first aid in the human world."

  "Phew, that's a relief. I probably wouldn't be able to move at all right now, if that guy hadn't come along," came the familiar voice of Rainbow Dash.

  "Let's not forget he was the one that put you in peril in the first place."

  A wave of guilt washed over Goku. She's right, I put Rainbow in danger. I'll make it up to her, I swear it.

  Rainbow Dash must've stamped her hoof, "Well if he meant harm, then he would've let me crash on my own, and never have dragged me to Applejack's!"

  "She does have a good point Rarity," responded Twilight.

  "Well we'll see what he has to say for himself. And where is Pinky Pie and Fluttershy? They should be here by now," Rarity questioned.

  "Spike went with them to get Zecora," answered Twilight.

  Goku tried to move again as the barn doors slowly slid open. Light from the day shined on through, blinding him momentarily. And all he could do to shield his eyes was close them. He quickly took note, the appearance of the Unicorn/Pegasus hybrid, plus one simple pony, and another Unicorn. He could already guess which was which because their appearances had a lot to do with their names.

  "Can you speak, Goku?" inquired Twilight.

  Goku breathed deep so he could speak, but had a fit of coughing and hacking had overtaken him.

  "Don't worry, help is on the way," murmured Twilight.

  Goku started to gain small bits of his Ki back, little by little. Eventually, he lifted his head, and found the one they called Applejack sitting in front of him, while Twilight had a conversation with Rainbow Dash and Rarity outside the barn. Applejack was holding a sack in in her hand, tossing it up and down.

  "Mind if I have a look in your pouch here?"

  Goku just shook his head no at her. She just shrugged and emptied the contents on the floor between them. Three beans clacked onto the ground, and Applejack greedily scooped one up and would've gobbled it up. But Goku had just remembered what they were. Sensu beans!

  Goku stopped them in midair, focusing all the mental Ki that he could, he levitated it into his mouth and started to chew.

  "Hey! How'd ya do that without grabbing it?" questioned Applejack.

  But her question wasn't anymore of her concern as she stumbled backwards, to make room for Goku as he stood.

  "Full recovery! Didn't know that was actually gonna work."

  Applejack just stared like a wide eyed child as Goku made his way out of the barn. He walked up to the oblivious ponies and came to a halt as he started to stretch before them.

  "My name is Goku, by the way. And I'm guessing you're Twilight, you're Rarity, that's Applejack back there, and I've already met Rainbow Dash. Man! You're extremely fast!"

  No response. Goku made his way back to the barn, picking up the sensu beans, and stuffing the pouch into his belt. He kept one out, and handed it to Twilight, who just looked at it confused.

  "It's called a sensu bean. It has magical healing properties, any physical injury will immediately heal, and the person that eats it will have their Ki recharged to their max. Pretty neat, huh?"

  Finally, Applejack broke the silence on their end with a question.

  "How many sensu beans are there per pod, on average?"

  "I don't know really. I can't remember much, except that I have an immense amount of Ki, and know how to apply it in combat. Aside from that, all I know is the language I'm speaking... Though I'm forgetting something..."

  Goku looked to the sky and tried to shield his eyes from the Sun. When he brought his right hand down, away from his face, he found a silver crescent like the Moon, in his right hand.

  "Princess Luna!" he shouted out loud.

  Now, he had all the ponies' undivided attention.

  "Where'd you get this?" demanded Twilight.

  "Cause it is just Dazzling!" marveled Rarity, as started to drool.

  "Well now I know, the one you all call Princess Luna, visited me in my dreams last night. She said to seek out Princess Twilight Sparkle in Ponyville, so I could help you out. In return I get to go back to my world... Except I don't know the first thing about my world. What is it like? Where is it? How did I get here???"

  All the ponies were now resting there glances on Goku. There faces the very picture of sympathy.

  Goku's face went from blank to enthusiasm. He made a fist with his right hand and kept his right index and middle fingers extended, touching them to his forehead.

  "Time to greet Zecora, again! Everyone place your han-  I mean hooves, or claws on me."

  Everyone was hesitant but reluctantly obeyed. Goku closed his eyes and pictured an area he had past during his flight with Rainbow Dash, just outside of the Ever Free Forest.

  "Got it."

  In an instant, they were all standing in front of a patch of flattened grass.

  "Pinky Pie! Fluttershy! Spike! And Zecora! It's been a while," stated Twilight.

  Goku looked up at the party that materialized out of the woodland fringe before them.

  "WOW! You really weren't kidding Twilight! A human in Equestria... Do you have any idea what this means!?" inquired Pinky Pie.

  "Yes Pinky, it means something strange is happening because the thirty moon cycle hasn't passed," answered Twilight.

  "Well I was just gonna say that this means a human is in Equestria. But of course you're right too," replied Pinky.

  Goku had backed away from Pinky to get some space as she had gotten closer. A little too close.

  "So, now we can catch up and talk some. We know you've been dealing with Queen Chrysalis and her Changelings. Also, Discord after his relapse and all," stated Fluttershy.

  Goku saw the opportunity to reach the problem at hand.

  "So is it this Discord guy, and this Queen that is giving you all this trouble?"

  The group all turned to Goku with weary and solemn looks on their faces. Goku felt like he had just reopened an old wound. The group looked to each other, looking like they were having a telepathic conversation. Then Pinky Pie finally nodded her head.

  "Nachos it is then."

  Everyone, even Goku, turned a quizzical gaze towards, who shrank before them.

  "Is that a no go on the Nachos then?"

  "Actually, I could use a good bite to eat right about now," replied Goku.

  "Good, we can all eat while I explain what's happening, to Goku," said Twilight.

  So with that settled, Twilight's horn started to glow, and then there was a flash of purple light, followed by darkness.

  All had reappeared after about a solid five minutes. A wave of nausea swept over Goku and seemingly everyone else. And on top of that, Goku's vision was blurry.

  Goku's stomach rumbled which magically cleared his vision, and nausea. But those symptoms were replaced by one that is the most dangerous of all... Hunger.

  Goku looked around frantically for a cure. That is when he noticed Twilight's condition. She had beads of sweat rolling down her face, and she was on the ground, her breathing, extremely labored.

  "What happened?" questioned Spike, as he dropped to his knees by her side.

  Goku walked over and placed a hand on her midriff. Everyone tensed and stared at Goku. Applejack even made ready to buck Goku in the face. Then Goku started to transfer some of his Ki over to Twilight.

  When he finished, her eyes flitted open and she stood tall. She seemed overrun with energy, like Pinky Pie.

  Everyone relaxed and sighed. Applejack let a bead of sweat trickle down her face.

  "You shouldn't have tried to move everyone such a distance, without warning," stated Goku.

  He took note that everypony, (and dragon), else seemed drained as well. So he individually spared an extremely small portion of his Ki to each group member. Which was enough to make each pony feel in the prime of their life.

  "Smokin' apples Goku! What did you do to- I mean for us?"

  "Oh, I just transferred some of my Ki, or energy, over into each of you, sense you seemed pretty beat and all."

  After everyone said their thanks, Goku sat down from his own fatigue, as hunger was starting to overtake him. Twilight must have sensed his distress, and started to dish out orders for everyone to prepare a meal. She seemed to hold the project together. Each pony setting about their task, as Spike followed Twilight with a quill and paper. After half an hour, they had used magic and the woodlands around them to prep a sufficient meal for Goku. They all had decided to eat apples.

  Apple jack was guessing that they had way over shot Goku's appetite, but to her bewilderment and horror, it was quite the opposite. Goku had made it seem like a petty snack. She noted that he had to bite his tongue to keep from moaning and complaining. Everyone watched Goku lay down, with his face cracking into a wide spread grin. Patting his stomach, he stood to thank everypony, (and dragon), for their generosity, kindness, and trust in him.

  "It was the very least we could do, sense you helped us, Goku," confirmed Applejack.

  And in that moment, a new friendship was formed between Goku and the Ponies, (plus the dragon), before him.

  "Not to mention we all still seem to be overflowing with energy right now," concluded Fluttershy.

  Suddenly, Pinky Pie started to circle Goku slowly and narrowed her eyes at him.

  "I noticed you made light of our meal for you."

  Pinky got right up in Goku's face, where as Goku didn't flinch one bit.

  "When we have the opportunity, I am going to challenge you to an eating contest!" exclaimed Pinky Pie.

  "You're on!" Goku's face became as stiff as stone.

  After a full thirty seconds of searching each others eyes for fear, they both fell back laughing as the gang giggled with them.

  Now Twilight stood and beckoned all members, (now including Goku), to follow.

  "So we will now walk the rest of the way to Ponyville, which I fancy isn't too far. But I will tell you of our tales and adventures on the way, that way you will better understand the gravity of our situation," explained Twilight.

  Goku suddenly had an urge to laugh when she said, -gravity of our situation. But he resisted it and nodded to Twilight.

  So over the next hour, Twilight Sparkle condensed the adventures between the six pony friends, (and dragon), to help Goku understand the impending doom that currently looms over Equestria, even at this very moment.

  "So three years after defeating Lord Tirek, we as a unit, and friends, decided to establish ourselves as the Peacekeepers of Equestria. And our task force was working great as an arbiter of justice and peace for some time. Instead of waiting for danger to arise, we hunted it down, personally, and snuffed it out. But we ran into some major trouble about a month ago. A close friend of ours had a relapse, cause you see he is the God of Discord. The living embodiment of chaos. So to be a creature of piece, would be to deny the very thing that keeps him alive, and drives him. Being the good guy for so long was killing him. So he turned and joined forces with a foe we had thought had been defeated at my brothers wedding. Queen Chrysalis. She and her Changeling army were back in commission, due to Discord providing them with the necessary power. She defeated, and enslaved, the Canterlot Royal Guard, and she even had the power to single-handedly overthrow all three princesses at the same time. And she didn't even resort to trickery if my brother is correct. But they stopped upon taking over Canterlot to restock and divide the territory between Discord and Queen Chrysalis and her Changelings. So you see, if Chrysalis resumes her conquest of Equestria, Ponyville and all we have ever called home will be destroyed and their seems to not be a single being alive that can bring her, and Discord, down. Goku, you are our last hope. The Elements of Harmony have had an enchantment placed over them, cutting us off from using them. The enchantment is also tied to Discord's life force. You're the only one powerful enough to cripple Discord's power long enough for me to cut the connection between him and the Elements of Harmony."

  Goku came to a halt and sat, hugging his knees against his chest, and letting everything soak in.

  "So what is the exact plan of attack?" questioned Goku.

  Twilight halted and stared at him dead in the eyes. Her expression the very picture of desperation.

  "We have no plan as of now. I'm too busy trying to find a loophole. One to get us out of this Celestia-forsaken mess. But, I suppose we could use another intel update from my brother. He could provide us with the info necessary to put an end to this blossoming war."

  "Sounds like the only option we have. So where is your brother?"

  Twilight's ears drooped as she sagged her shoulders, and hung her head in depression. A single tear rolled down her cheek.

  "He's been enslaved with the rest of the Royal Guard. Though they're doing something aweful with their captives... experimenting on them. I don't even know how he is right now..."

  The gang gathered around Twilight, reassuring her that her brother was all right.

  "What's his name? So I'll know him from every other pony," asked Goku.

  Twilight sighed as she looked up at Goku and nodded, "His name is Shining Armor, he is Captain of the Royal Guard."

  Then Goku made up his mind.

  "Twilight? I need an image of Canterlot, how you last saw it."

  "Why?" questioned Twilight.

  "Just trust me," was Goku's only answer.

  Twilight choked back a sob, "Fine, I trust you."

  Twilight's horn started to glow, but a white ball of light on the tip appeared and touched Goku between the eyes.

  After three seconds, a spark of energy burst between Goku and Twilight.

  They both looked like they just woke up from a deep sleep.

  "Um, are you guys O.K.?" asked Fluttershy, timidly.

  "Uh... yes," replied Goku.

  "You're sure?" asked Applejack.

  "Positive," answered Twilight.

  "Are you absolutely, positively, a hundred percent, guaranteeing that you are, most definitely, over the top sure that the both of you are good and well?" inquired Pinky Pie.

  All she got was a bunch of lopsided gazes from the gang.

  "Okey, Dokey!" finished Pinky Pie, as she continued her skipping.

  Goku lifted of the ground to meet up with Rainbow Dash.

  "Is Pinky Pie always like this?" questioned Goku.

  "'Fraid so, but you'll get use to it. Assuming you're here long enough."

  Goku started to fly faster as he turned back to Rainbow and winked. Rainbow just smiled and picked up the pace.

  Goku called back to her, "Try to keep up."

  Rainbow just rolled her eyes and muttered, "No problem."

  Though it became a problem right away, seeing that Goku was capable of making far more complex maneuvers. Goku stopped and moved straight up into the sky within a matter of mere seconds. Rainbow just doubled her speed, then cut her course short as she maneuvered upwards and tucked her wings while spiraling up, using both fore hooves to cut the wind. Soon she made it where Goku was.

  Pretending to nap on a cloud. It made her blood boil.

  Goku opened one eye and merely said, "Your weakness is gravity. Ki allows you to pull away from gravity as fast as you like, so long as your body can handle how fast you pull away."

  This gave Rainbow Dash the idea to ask, "Can you teach me to use my Ki!?"

  Goku levitated off the cloud and came face to face with Rainbow Dash.

  "I can, but first I've got to warn you. If you follow through with this training, it'll be one hundred times more excruciatingly painful, and intense, than any other training you might've received. And I'm serious, you'll either harness your Ki in time, or you'll die trying. Don't respond right away either, take one day to think on this and the reasons you want to do this. Then come give me your answers."

  The game was already over, and Goku made his way to a higher cloud and hid. He watched the gang get behind a boulder to set up camp now that it was dusk, and saw Rainbow Dash land down there with the rest of the gang.

  Now he put his plan into action. He wasn't going to watch his friend mourn for a destiny that her brother might or might not have even suffered. He captured the image in his head and put two fingers to his head. And faster than the speed of light, he traveled to his desired destination.

  When Goku opened his eyes, he stood at the entrance to the slave camp. Two guards where on either side of him. They both dropped their javelins in shock. One almost got to sound the alarm, but Goku elbowed him in his midriff, probably crushing some ribs. The next guard picked his weapon back up and charged Goku. The javelin hit Goku's gut, but the weak wooden shaft shattered as if he just tried to push a twig through a brick wall. Goku smiled at the guards dismay, and dealt him a swift blow between the eyes, sending him into nap time.

  Goku advanced, not ever relying on stealth, he didn't know how to use it. So he kicked down the iron gates and strutted through the place like he owned it. But then more guards piled out of the barracks. They all charged with their spears dipped forwards. But Goku was ready and levitated slightly above spear level. The circle of guards' spears met in the center. Which then Goku put one foot on the center of the spears. The guards were forced to hold him up, but Goku let all his weight come down, snapping twelve spears all at once.

  "Guys, if this is the Royal Welcoming Committee, then I'm offended."

  He smiled, then he got serious as he remembered his objective. Spiking his power level as high as he could, he knocked back all the guards, stunning them and removing the tents in the camp to reveal slaves on a sleeping shift.

  "Where are the others? We don't have time to waste," Goku asked.

  He just received looks of confusion as the ponies tried to determine what kind of creature.

  Now Goku was growing impatient, and raised his voice, "Where are your comrades!? We need to get you and them out of here!"

  One pony stepped forward and said, "I'll take you to them! Follow me! Comrades! Raid the barracks, and arm yourselv-"

  Goku put a hand on his shoulder, "I can take the guards on by myself. You focus on gathering the Royal Guard to retreat. Oh, and what's your name?"

  "Flash Sentry, sir! At your service!"

  "Well nice to meet you, my name is Goku. Now hurry Flash, and gather the Royal Guard!"

  Just then a swarm of Changelings descended from the skies and gathered in one big mass to nail Goku. But to Goku saw the mass as one big target.

  "You make this too easy," muttered Goku.

  Spreading his legs in a horse stance, he brought his hands to his right hip and started the shout for his signature move.

  Every living soul stopped and stared with awestruck gazes at their strange liberator.

  "KAAAAAMEEEEEHAAAAAMEEEEE-"

  Big pause...

  "-HHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

  Goku let the blast fly up into the fear stricken Changelings. The blast made a direct hit and disintegrated the weaker Changelings. Goku knew he had to step it up a notch.

  "KAIO-KEN!"

  More energy poured forth from Goku as the rest of the Changelings were disintegrated. When the blast dissipated, Goku was gonna power down. But some new ponies arrived as if on cue. But these ponies seemed to terrify the living daylights out of the Royal Guard.

  Flash Sentry ran out in front of these ponies, and started to plead, "Captain Shining Armor, sir! You have to remember yourself, your comrades, your family! Don't you care for your sister!?"

  Goku noted that this was her brother.

  This seemed to take his attention. He had a gruesome scar running down his jaws right side. He also had white fur and a black mane with lime green highlights. He also wore gray armor fitted for mobility, and a beret that had an emblem of some deformed pony's silhouette.

  What ever Flash attempted had just failed, because he picked up and tossed Flash aside like a ragdoll. Goku felt an enormous Ki signature from Shining Armor and what followed, he didn't plan on finding out.

  "My name... is... is Tarnished Armor!"

  A blast emitted from his horn and hurtled toward Flash, but Goku still in Kaio-Ken, effortlessly dashed to, and deflected the blast into the sky.

  "Flash... Whatever you hear, think, or feel next, will not get these ponies to safety. Guide them to the nearest friendly civilization, and don't look or turn back. Whatever you do. Protect those ponies at ALL costs. Safe travels Flash Sentry."

  Flash rose to his hooves and stood taller than he had ever stood in his entire life, lifted his chin, said, "Farewell Goku, we bid you good luck, and you will not be forgotten..." finished Flash.

  Everyone saluted Goku as they turned tail and made way for a safer place.

  Then Goku turned and addressed Tarnished Armor, "So from what I've learned, you're Twilight Sparkle's big brother."

  Tarnished Armor just had an agonized look cross his face, like he was trying to fight off a migraine. Then his face relaxed as his eyes flashed green, and he responded to Goku's statement, "I have no sister! Celestia murdered her! And nothing is going to stop me from taking her world away as she did mine!"

  "What do you mean? Your sister is still alive! She is not to far from here! Look, just come with me and you-"

  Tarnished Armor cut Goku off, "LIES!!!"

  The ground started to shake as Tarnished Armor leapt for Goku.

  And so it began.
