scott here i'm going to give you the truth and let you decide who the monsters truly are.
In the name of Russ I hate repeating myself.
they say killing is hard... It not. It stopping your self that is the hard part.
My friend Scott and I walked across the parking lot of the convention center in Dallas Texas. For the 2015 game con I was dressed up as Artyom from Metro. I was wearing the helmet, gas mask combo, heavy dark orange body armor. My pants were also orange but I added a lot of pockets and my large black steel toed boots, and I had even included a fake Kalash, revolver, and shotgun that were on my back or in a holster. All of it was made out of plastic so security didn't kick my ass out of the con, as I passed through the checkpoint I gave them my pass and allowed them to check my identification card. I looked over the dozen police officers and security all around the entrance because of all the missing people in the last few years who just seem to disappear at the conventions the security has bumped up hugely, but in the Dallas heat it was killer. Scott was dressed up as an Iron Priest of the Space Wolves Chapter... Yes he's a fan of warhammer. He had the full ensemble. Dark blue and gray armor and a single servo-arm over his right shoulder. The same shoulder also had a weird half human, half machine Yin Yang sign. He was carrying his home made bolter in his arms and on his lower back lay his thunder hammer. I still can't believe he`s not cooking in that stuff. Behind him came his three shepherd dogs dressed up as fenrisian cyberdogs. All three where tagged and listed so they could go with him.
as we made our way inside I looked over all of the booths I saw the booth I was looking forward to visiting once I got here,I pointed it out to scott.
“Hey Scott! Look at that pony game. Some sort of copy of Fallout, supposedly made to copy Fallout: Equestria. I do my research." I pointed out the booth, which was selling copies of the book and early access codes. It had a huge line, and people were chatting excitedly. "I heard the animation was really good."
Scott's POV
“Hmm. I still can't believe Hasbro bought out Bethesda games then bought out Fimfiction and..well a lot of stuff but skill I can't believe they are making fallout Equestria and all of its side stories in to games., but whatever. I'm going over to the booth, it looks cool. “ I pointed over to a booth with a sign that looked like a lighthouse but there was no name. It was in the corner, and there was no line, so I move over to it to see if anything cool was there.
Hey, wait up!" Jacob said, walking after me. "What do you suppose it's for?"
"It's for Jewelry from the looks of it. Maybe you'll find a copy of the alicorn amulet. I'm hoping for an Imperial aquila." I told Jacob, looking over all of the stuff. I found what I was looking for. I moved my hand over the holy symbol as I reached for the Imperial Aquila, the two headed eagle, one head blind the other staring into the void. now most would wonder why a tech marine would pick up a aquila when they believe in the machine God Omnissiah. Well I just think it looks cool and I can hang it up on my wall when I get back home! I looked over at Jacob. He was a couple feet from my right side and was staring at a lighter bullet. I shook my head and looked over to the large man who ran the booth He look a little shady but as long as this was not stolen I did not care. “How much for this?“ I asked
He said, "For you, Enginseer it's only 5 bucks.” I could not get my wallet out fast enough.
Jacob's POV
I picked up the bullet lighter. Looking over at Scott, I saw he was looking at an Imperial Aquila. Shaking my head, I asked the man, "How much for the lighter?"
The man smiled. "Five bullets, Artyom." Smiling back at the man, I got my wallet out and paid him.
"Scott, what'd you get?" I asked him.
“An Imperial Aquila. You?" He asked me.
"The lighter bullet from the Metro games. It actually works, too." I pressed the trigger, and the cap flipped open.
"Nice.” I smiled at my friend thought he probably couldn't notice though my helmet.
"That guy was cool, too. He called you an Enginseer, and me Artyom. He must really like games." I told Scott.
"I told you these guy and gals are cool, mate.” I smirked at him from under my helmet.
"OK, fine, I admit this is awesome." I told him. "Hey, where's the bathroom?" I asked him.
I looked all around the room since I was taller than him by 8 inches. I was able to see the bathroom. I sighed. “Over there." I pointed at it.
"Thanks!" I said, running over. After I had finished going, I went to wash my hands. Before I could, all the light was drained from the room. "Scott!?" I yelled.
“What the hell?” I had walked in to take a piss. I looked over to where I heard Jacob call my name. "The hell is going on here mate? You ok?"
“I am, but I thought you were still outside." Said Jacob
"I had come in to take a piss. The next thing I know is that the lights stopped working. Do you think some asshole got drunk and took out the power lines?” I ask Jacob.
"Wait! Eh... Light source, light source... The lighter!" I said. I reached for the pocket I had it in and took it out. Pressing the trigger, a small flame appeared, barely letting me see Scott.
At the same time I reached for my helmet light. It took me a second to turn on then I got a face full of Jacob's masked face. I jumped back in shock.
"Sorry. I probably should've used the real flashlight I had. Anyway, where are we?" It didn't look like we were in the bathroom. We were in a stone tunnel that had cobwebs and rubble all over the place
as I looked over the place it reminded me of some of the tunnels from the metro game. Dark, cold, wet and the feeling that I would die if I wasn't careful. The tunnel itself looked to be in a decent condition so hopefully it wouldn't collapse on us.
I looked through the tunnel. "It looks like one from Metro. We should go forward though. Don't want to get stuck here,
Scott`s POV
I looked over the place slowly. "I agree. Wait, where are my dogs?" I whistled loudly for them
but got no noise back from them. "I don't like this. I don't like this at all." I moved the bolter to my back and switched it for the hammer. It may be fake, but I used a real sledge hammer for it.
Back to Jacob's POV
I took a step back, tripping over something, which was Scott's dogs. "It doesn't look to fake. And these don't look like your dogs!" They were all in a pile, probably sleeping.

I moved over to him and looked at my pups I immediately noticed that they looked like real fenrisian cyberdogs, the metal glistening softly in the light from the flashlights. They were much bigger than they were before, almost 3 times as big. There fur was a lot thicker and darker, and instead of the dark brown and of black spot their fur had become black as night. On a positive note, all of them were breathing
“looks like there unconscious." I turned over to look at Jacob just as he fell to the ground
“Jacob? Jacob!” I ran over to my friend. He was speaking softly. Most of it was in russian, but I managed to catch a few words in english. The young Dark one ,Miller, D6. The rest was nothing but nonsense I laid him next to my pups and took another look around the tunnel. I managed a few step when the world turned blurry. As I fell to the ground centuries, of memories hit me like a titan. My last coherent words were, “In the name of Russ, this hurts.” I passed out then.

"Ugh. What happened?" I groaned, opening my eyes. I was in a room that looked worse for wear. It had pieces of stone scattered around it, and there was a hole where I assumed a window. The stones the room was made of were old and weathered. Sitting up, my guns and were on the wall next to me. At least I assumed they were guns, with Scott's dogs turning into the real thing had anything to do with it. Reaching out to grab them, I slung the Kalash and shotgun over my back, and put the revolver in a holster.
"Do you think he's awake?" A voice asked.
"I don't know. The other one hasn't woken up, and neither have his dogs." Another voice said.
Instinctually, I pulled out the revolver and put three bullets in it out of instinct, pointing it at the door. It slowly creaked open, and when the people who were talking came in, I stared in shock, my revolver dropping from my hands. It was ponies. The one on the left had a darkish black mane, grey coat, and was wearing a pink bowtie, while the other had a dark orange mane and lighterish orange coat. They were sort of human in nature. They stood on two legs, and had hands and fingers.
Apparently they were surprised to see me awake, because they stopped too.
"Э-э ... Алло?" I said, before stopping. What language was that? I thought, before clutching my head, the image of an explosion blasting someone back from a door flashing through my head, then being replaced by a man lying on the bed, muttering to himself, then going to me pressing a button, a missile, and a huge explosion in the distance.
"The Dark Ones could save you." A voice echoed.
"Остановите это!" I heard myself shout, before slumping down, exhausted for obvious reasons.
"Are you OK?" The orange and grey ponies were crouched down next to me.
I shook my head. "No... Now if you excuse me, I'm... Just gonna... Fall asleep now..." I slumped back, snoring.

As I came into the waking world, the pounding in my head only grew worse at the memories of centuries of near constant battle, a horrifying but amazing experience at the same time. So much knowledge. All the battle experience. The friends and the foes. I remember having the years of training to be a iron priest, the lives I've ended, the places I've seen. I clutched my head in pain, the memories flashing by, overloading my senses, before it stopped. In a moment, I managed to open my eyes the room I was in was not like the tunnel me and Jacob were in... oh shit, Jacob!
“Jacob!” I yelled in worry for my little friend. l noticed my Bolter and my Thunder hammer lying on a large wooden table to my right. It was next to a really old and weathered statuette of a humanoid with a horn and wings. She looked familiar in some way, but I didn't know why. When I stood up, and hit my helmeted head on the ceiling. I cursed the fool who made such a short ceiling. Ducking my head, I managed to get to my weapons and check my ammo in my suit. Precisely 25 clips, each with 30 Holy Bolter rounds. As I loaded a mag into the bolter receiver, I gave it a casual glance over and checked it for damage or if the machine sprite could be hurt. Both were in good repair, thankfully.
Suddenly, I heard voices from outside. "Is he awake? The other one woke up, but he fell asleep after some kind memory attack, I think."
I moved close to the door with my bolter in my arms and listened closely for any sound.
The hoofsteps were getting clo... Hoofsteps? As they got closer, I was able to count 2 unknowns, before the door creaked open. Two humanoids walked in. The one on the right had a darkish black hair it was shoulder length, A starting grey coat, and was wearing a pink bowtie she stood about 5`6 and had a pretty nice figure. Her chest was about a c cup.(my helmet gave such information don't ask me why I don't have a fraken clue) Her face was one like the statuette. She was dressed in a professional fashion. She also gave off the vibe of a perfectionist when it came to things she cared about. The other one had dark orange hair down to her neck with lighterish orange coat she had a similar figure to the first expect she only stood at a small 5 foot. They were sort of human in nature. They stood on two legs, and had hands and fingers.
They were chatting with each other about meanless thing (to me at least), before noticing my absence from the bed. There looks on their faces was one of confusion. I decided to have a little fun, but before I could say a thing the gray coated said, "Where the hay is that hunk of metal!"
“Right behind you.” I replied with the deepest voice I could get. The terrified creatures began to turn around. They were looking at my chest, and had to crane their necks to see my head. As one, they blinked then fell to the floor in a dead faint. "Wow, I didn't know I was that ugly."

Time: We don't know
Date: If we don't know the time, do you think we'll know the date?
I woke up suddenly, grinning for some reason. It might have to do with a dream I had, but I'm not gonna go into that. Getting back up, I stretched. "Ah, that felt nice." I muttered. Grabbing my gear, which had once again been taken off, I cautiously walked towards the door and opened it an inch, peeking out. Seeing nothing but a stone hallway that looked similar to my room, I opened the door fully.
Walking towards the left, past broken windows and old, faded paintings, i walked info another room, and my jaw dropped. I was in a huge, open, room with a throne in the center, the same humanoid women in groups with food, water, and medicine scattered around the tent and sleeping areas that had been set up. There was less than two dozen, and most of them looked like Metro dwellers. That look of sadness in there eyes, the pain and stress bearing down on their shoulders. The feel of fear, worry, and hated all of it bubbling just under the surface. But I also noted there was no children among any of the dwellings . "Святое дерьмо!"
All attention was put on me at that instant. He’s awake!” Someone said.
“He’s so big!” another said.
“I wonder if the other one is awake then?” a third said.
I paused. “Where’s the other person?” I asked, the mask and helmet muffling my voice.
A grey person with darker grey hair stood up. “Follow me! I can take you to him.” She told me. I nodded, and we started walking down a hallway that was in the same state as the rest of the castle: Falling apart and old. Walking up to a door, we opened it.
The first thing I said was, “Сцут, реали?”
He looked up from where he was putting the two women on the bed. “The frak you say?” He tilted his head at me.
“Sorry. Just a side effect. I think it meant… Scott, really? Yeah. Really?” I asked him. The two who had probably come to check on him were the two who had come to check on me.
“In my defence, they came in unannounced.” He replied evenly.
“How did they not notice you though? You’re pretty much a huge hunk of metal!” I exclaimed.
“I have no idea but it may be because they were too focused on the bed and not their surrounding. I also want to know who and what the hell are they.” He said.
I scratched my head, or mask, or helmet. “Uh… To be frank, I think they’re a mix of humans and ponies. Notice the teeth. Herbivore. And the hooves. That’s easy. Although it’s kinda hard to remember what they are!” I explained.
“Nope, I'm an Iron Priest, not a wolf priest. Remember, I build and maintain weapons and armor. And shoot things. I’m usually shooting things like that, not playing with it.
I nodded. “Interesting. Please tell me more. And I think the locals can explain.” I pointed at the woman behind me.
“Uh.. yes… we’re ponies. We’re divided into three ‘clans’: The Earth ponies, The Pegasi, and the Unicorns.” The pony behind me said. “The Pegasi fly, and control the weather, the Earth Ponies are the strongest and usually do the farming, and unicorns do… Unicorn stuff?” She said.
“Hmm... Can me and my friend talk alone for a minute?" I asked the earth pony after she finished her explanation.
“Yes, yes.” The mare quietly left the room.
“Dude, we're eitherreally high on some powerful drugs, or... We're actually in Equestria.” Scott told me.
I nodded. “Considering, I would say high, but the bathroom thing and remembering stuff makes me think we’re in a bad fic where the main characters start as cosplaying their favorite video game characters then get sent to Equestria as the person they were cosplaying as.” I told him.
Meanwhile in the Multiverse Room
The God of all things Multiverse started to laugh his ass off. “They figured it out before those other people did!” He told Discord, the local God of Chaos.
“Indeed. Now be quiet! I want to see this.” Discord materialized a chocolate milkshake in his hand.
Back in the Real World
“That sounds… Suspiciously specific.” Scott told me.
I shrugged, sitting on the bed. “I do my research. So, should we get your dogs?”
“ There right here.” I pointed over to the pile of fuzzballs sleeping next to a fire place.
“Aww, they’re so cute when they’re metal dogs!” I said.
“You seem to forget that they're now cyber hounds that are strong enough to take on a squad of traitor guardsmen and win.”
I chuckled. “I’m so scared.”
“You will be when I kick your ass!” Scott fake threatened.
I leaned back, my hands in front of me. “Watch out, we gotta a badass over here.”
We spent the rest of the day or night, exchanging jokes and jabs, and laughing at each other.
Little did we know that it would be our last laugh together for a long time.
A/N
Hey guys! So this is an idea my friend came with that I decided to jump on to.
Э-э ... Алло- Uh... Hello?
Остановите это- Make it stop!
Святое дерьмо- Holy Crap!
