Skylands Flynn's Flying Ship
It was a hot day in Skylands on the Flying ship of Flynn, the Skylanders best compaion, there were no clouds, no wind, and no air conditioning where a purple two horned dragon and brown club-tailed dragon walked on deck. The two skylanders were about pass out from the heat as they walked to thier cabins. It has been three weeks since they have defeated Chaos and now been flyning since then.
"Spyro we've been flying for two weeks now do you think we're kind of ......I don't know.....lost!" exclaimed the brown dragon already having the heat get to him.
"Like I said, Bash, for the fourth time we are just taking a short cut!" replied Spyro which only got a growl from Bash in return.
"How do we take a shortcut?! We're in the freakin' sky!"
Spyro and Bash could only glare daggers at eachother and growl as they circled eachother.
"ENOUGH" yelled a booming voice as a green dragon with robotic armor walked in the room. Spyro and Bash stood silent as they sat on different sides of the cabin with a low growl. The cyborg dragon could only stare at the two with discust feeling the tension between his friends.
"What is the error going on between you two. You two used to be the best of friends and now your behaving like animals!" yelled the cyborg.
Spyro and Bash's expressions softend as they looked back at eachother with more soft expressions.
"Sorry Bash for how I reacted." said Spyro with his head low.
"I'm sorry too, it's just that we've been flying forever in this heat and it's starting to get to me." replied Bash. Drobot simply nodded as three dragonesses walked through the door with worried and angered expressions. One was purple like spyro but had a spiked collar and bracelets named Cynder, the second was a cyan unicorn and dragon hybrid named Whirlwind, and the third was white with crystals as horns and wings named Flashwing. The other three skylanders could only freeze in terror as the girls walked up to them.
"Guys!!! Did you forget about the warning Flynn gave us?!" yelled Cynder.
"Uhhhh...." the three boys said.
"Ugh....Flynn said that there would be a storm today and guess what? It's in ten minutes!"
"Really!" said the Bash rather happy to know that a rain storm was coming. He would finally cool down in some nice cold rain....then Bash's expression went from happy to confused in an instant.
"Wait, if there is no clouds in the sky how the heck is there going to be a storm in ten minutes?" said Bash as Whirlwind stepped up.
"Dunno,but if Flynn says there is a storm we've better listen," said Whirlwind with an even more confused look since she controlled and knows everything about the weather,"Right Flashwing?"
Flashwing could only look in doubt in to Whirlwinds comment, "I don't think so." said Flashwing not trying to come off rude. Spyro then stepped in now agreeing with her.
"Yeah Flynns a nice guy and a pretty darn good pilot if you tell me, but sometimes he can have a plate in his head." said Spyro as the group gave a laugh.
"Maybe you guys are right. There is absolutely no clouds in the sky and there supposed to be a storm two minutes from now, yeah maybe he isn't right in the head," said Whirlwind as the six gave off another laugh which was interrupted with a violent shake of the ship almost knocking them into eachother. When they finally caught there balance, they heard a loud boom outside.
"No way." said Spyro as him and the rest of the group ran out and saw that the sky was covered in dark black clouds, with rain and hail falling on the flyning ship. The six Skylanders winced in pain as hail pelted them from above.
"We have to keep the vessel stablized!" boomed Drobot activating the thrusters on his wings and flying up to the mast with Whirlwind and Flashwing folowing him.
"Uhhhh....Spyro?!" said Bash with hint of fear in his voice.
"Yeah?"
"Are cl-cl-clouds supposed t-t-to do that?!" stutterd Bash as he pointed to the clouds swirling into a rainbow vortex with a black hole in the middle.
"Whirlwind!!!!" screamed Cynder and soon Whirlwind descended down with Drobot and Flashwing
"What is it?"
"Are you doing that!" Whirlwind then looked at the rainbow black hole and shook her head, "I'm sorry but that couldn't be me I can't make black holes out clouds, not that I know of" The other five now had look of fear on their faces, Whirlwind was the only one they knew who can create black holes, but if it wasn't her how are they going to stop it, let alone ecape it. The ship started to creek as it was now being puled in the rainbow vortex of the storm. The six skylanders held onto the railings trying to beat the force of the wind pulling them away from their ship.
"Everybody hang on, we're going for a bumpy ride!!!!" yelled Spyro as the ship got engulfed in the rainbow vertex and vanished as the rain and hail suddenly stopped and and the black clouds dissolving leaving nothing but the epmty blue sky of Skylands.
Ponyville
Twilight and Spike was walking through the streets of Ponyville getting greetful 'hellos' and 'good afternoons'. They simply returned the gestures and made their way to SurgarCube Corner and walked inside and being greeted by Pinkie Pie bouncing around them excited for their picnic with the rest of their friends.
"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh! Are you ready Twilight for this evening! Huh huh huh! Ooooh you even brought Spike this is going t be sooooooo much fun! We can...." Pinkie than had a hoof to her mouth silencing her but still keeping her smile.
"Pinkie lets just get the basket," Twilight said with a smile,"The others are waiting for us at Fluttershy's house."
"Okie dokie lokie" said Pinkie saluting to Twilight with her hooof and pulling a basket of cupcakes out of thin air and walking out the door with Twilight and Spike. They walked through the town until they reached Futtershy's to see the rest of their friends.
"Hey everypony I'm glad you all could make it." said Twilight
"No problem Twi' what are friends fer?" said Applejack laying out a blanket
"Uhm darlings, where is Rainbow Dash? She should be here for the picnic." asked Rarity with concern.
"I'm sure Rainbow will get here she is just probaly trying to be fashionably late" whispered Fluttershy as she sat next to Twilight and Applejack.
"Well she better get here soon cause I'm about to cut tha cake!!!" said Pinkie as her mouth was literally a waterfall of drool as she gazed torwards the cake.
"Where ever she is must be soo important that she couldn't be with her friends." Applejack said sarcasticly with a scowl, where Twilight came behind and put a hoof on her shoulder."Don't worry Applejack I think Rainbow has a logical explanation of why she 's la....."
"TWITCHY TAIL!!!!" screamed Pinkie
"Something gonna fall" yelled Spike as he hid behind a treefollowed by everyponyelse. After a few moments they all looked around confused to see that nothing has fallen.
"Uhh Pinkie? Is your Pinkie sense broken" aske d Spike as he carefully rept from his hiding spot.
"Dunno usally.....oh there it is!!!!" said Pinkie pointing at the object descending from a rainbow vortex and crashing in the Everefree forest.
"What the hay was that thing!?" asked Applejack
"Looked like some kind of junky old steamboat with wings, uhg, it's even horrible when you say it!" replied Rarity, while Twilight just rolled her eyes at Rarity's fashoined behavior.
"Well looks like we have to put this picnic on pause and check out what really that thing was." said Twilight in a serious tone.
"Uhm...maybe we should wait for Rainbow.....by the way we should go together......since we're going in the Everfree Forest that is....if that's ok with you guys." said Fluttershy in a whispering voice.
"Sorry Flutters Rainbow gonna have ta' catch up" said Applejack putting a lassoe under her hat.
"By the way Fluttershy what if any animals got her from the crash." said Spike as Fluttershy's eyes shot open and grabbed all of her friends and with speed that Rainbow would be jealous of sped od torwards the forest.
Everfree Forest(Flynn's Flying Ship Wreckage
The six skylanders groaned in pain as they got off the wreckage of the ship. They looked around to their surroundings and noticed that they were in some kind of forest.
"Is everyone alright?" asked Spyro
"Fine"
"Good"
"Okay"
"Nice"
"Affirmative"
Spyro simply nodded and and looked back at the ship which was totalled. How were they going get back to the other Skylands if there ship is nothing but scraps and have no idea where that vortex came from.
"So what do we do know Spyro?" asked Cynder
"For the first time I don't know?" said Spyro as he sat down with his head hung low,"If we just listen to that stupid storm warning this would have never happend. It's all my fault."
"Don't talk like that Spyro, you've always figured something out when things got bad, and that's why were stil here today." said Flashwing giving Spyro a light blush.
"I hate to break the touching moment but we have some scary looking green eyes staring eyes," said Bash in a defensive stance.
All of a sudden ten wolves made out of wood started circling the six as they got in a pouncing stance.
"It seems that these creatures are completely organic and are living with an unkown energy still scanning for orgin." said Drobot as the Others just face-palmed in annoyance.
"Who cares what the orgin is let's have some fun!"
Everfree Forest
The six skylanders were all standing back to back in a defensive circle as the timberwolves crept closer.
"Skylanders get ready for battle!" commanded Spyro as yellow flames began to spew from his mouth, Flashwings tail started to glow, Bash is digging his claws in the dirt, Cynder has purple electricity spewing from her mouth, Drobots eyes started to glow bright red, and Whirlwind's horn glowed a rainbow aura. The timberwolves took this as a sign of resistince as they all pounced, only for Bash to summon three earth mounds and knocking some of them back. Drobots than fired to lasers from his eyes hit to wolves disintergrating them while Spyro and Cynder blasted most of them with flames and electricity.
"Uhh... Spyro!" screamed Bash," More seems to be coming!"
"We can't hold them off forever!" sceamed Spyro, "Whirlwind! Still have enough juice!?" Whirlwind simply nodded and put on a grin.
"You read my mind!" she aid as she charged up her horn as rainbow colored energy began to surround it as she gritted her teeth. "Alright everyone grab on to something!" Whirlwind screamed as the other dragons took cover. Whirlwind then released a mini black hole with a rainbow aura surrounding it sucking all the timberwolves inside.
"Whirlwind!!!! Deactivate the black hole!!" boomed Drobot as Whirlwind relaxed her muscles and closed the black hole and collapsed out of exhastion. Spyro quickly flew to her side and put the back of his claw on her head.
"Is she alright?" asked Flashwing.
"She'll be fine, just passed out from all that energy she used." replied Spyro
"It's amazing how much power she has."
"Yeah, any more seconds and everything would've went bo-" Spyro then stopped and had wide eyes.
"What's wrong Spyro?" said Bash
"WE FORGOT ABOUT FLYNN!!!" yelled Spyro. The other s had shocked expressions they had been so busy fighting of the wooden creatures that they forgot about Flynn, their friend, and maybe the only person who can fix the ship and get them out of this place.
"Hey guys!! Is that you, if you don't mind I'm stuck in here and can't get out!" yelled Flynn from inside the ship. The skylanders gave a sigh of relief to know that he was ok.
"Alright, Drobot, Flashwing you guys go help Fynn and watch Whirlwind, while the rest of us go and find any locals." commanded Spyro as Drobot and Flashwing nodded and carried Whirlwind on the ship to go help Flynn in his 'situation'. Spyro, Cynder, and Bash started to walk deeper in the forest and noticed that their was no light what so ever. Cynder was quiet happy of this, while Spyro and Drobot would flinch at everything that would make a sound.
"Spyro my I see a small hut ahead." said Bash.
"Perfect! Now we can know where we are." said Spyro as they approached the hut wich had some kind of a voodoo design to it and it was part of a tree. the three walked up to the door and Spyro gave it a knock. A zebra with golden rings stepped out and gave a confused look.
"Hello, what can I do for you three, for I have somewhere to be." said the zebra
"Yeah...uh... hey as you can see we're not really from around here and was wondering where's the closest town?" said Spyro
"Yes there is a town called Ponyville not foar from here, but as a warning they do not accept dragons there." said the zebra in a stern voice.
"This lady is wierd-OW!" said Bash as he slapped in the back of the head by Cynder. The zebra gave a light chuckle to see how cildish these dragons acted and not like the ones that create hoards of gold because of their greed. "But there is a way for them to trust you, for you have to find the friendly six woh will help you." Spyro could only tilt his head in confusion at the riddle.
"Ok thanks for the help." said Spyro as he and the others walked back to the ship.
"Is it me or is that lady cra-OW! Stop doing that!" screamd Bash as Cynder hit him again.
"Then stop being such a hard head!! I can of respect the stuff she has going on." barked Cynder as she glared daggers at Bash making him shiver with fear and give out a simple apology. Spyro could only put a claw to his face and shake his head.
"We're never getting out of here."
Elsewhere in the Everfree Forest
The five ponies and dragon walked through the forest looking for the object that crashed and interrupted their picnic.
"I really hope the animals by that thing is alright." squeaked Fluttershy
"Ah'm sure they be fine" said Applejack, "ya know how them critters can sense danger." Fluttershy simply nodded and kept on waking with still a worried look on there faces.
"I just can't wait to see aliens!!!!! I wonder what ind of cupcakes they ike? Cherry, blueberry, chocolate, bannana, apple, orange, carmel, carrot, nuts,hot sauce-" said Pinkie hopping around the group.
"hot sauce darling?" asked Rarity
"Uh huh, I have it for breakfast like almost everyday you should try one!" said pinkie as she pulled a hot sauce cupcake out of her mane.
"Uhh that's ok dear, maybe later."
Spike on Twilight' back was getting annoyed of the boring walk they were making trying to find the object.
"Are we there yet?" said Spike
"Don't worry Spike if my calculations are correct it should've landed right around..."
"OVER HERRRRRRRRRRE!" screamed Pinkie
The four quickly turned around went torwards Pinkie to see a sight that shocked them. There they saw a green steem boat with wing like sails on the sides and cylinder like tubes in the back with smoke coming from it.
"Ugh, I told you it was some rusty old boat!" said Rarity.
"Look something's coming out!" yelled Spike as they all turned their attention to the hatch on the ship as it opened and three dragons came out dragging an unconscious weazel-like biped with a brown jacket and goggles. The ponies and dragon looked in horror thinking that the three were going to eat him.
"We've got to help him!!!" screamed Fluttershy as the dragons surprisingly heard her and looked her way seeing the five of them.
"Good goin' Fluttershy." said Applejack sarcasticly as she pulled out her lassoe. Twilight's horn started to glow and her wings spread out and got in to a battle stance.
"We can't sit here and argue. We have to save....what ever they're dragging." said Twilight as she and her friendsteleported infront of the three dragons with angry looks in there eyes.
Flynn's Flying Ship(fifteen minutes earlier)
Drobot, Flashwing, and Whirlwind were dragging Flynn throughout the inside of the ship trying to get him to safety but it was easier said than done. "Ugh....This guy is heavier than he looks!" grunted Whirlwind.
"At least we're almost to the entry point soon we can transport Flynn to the nearest checkpoint." said Drobot
"Yeah we just have to.....ugggggh" said Flashwing as she glanced up the ladder to the exit. Drobot and Whirlwind groaned as the three of them struggled to lift Flynn to the hatch, after abot seven minutes they finally got Flynn half way through the hatch as Whirlwind was using her mouth to pull on the collar of his jacket.
"A-A-Almost t-t-there Whirlwind." said Flashingwing pushing Flynn up from behind. Drobot getting annoyed on how long it took them to get out the ship he activated his thrusters to full power and and pushed Flashwing and Flynn out and landing with a.....
THUD!!!!
"OW!!!' Flashwing screamed turning her gaze torwards Drobot, "What was that for!"
"You were taking too long," replied Drobot, "So I took extreme complications."
Before Flashwing could say something they were all blind in a purple light. When it dissolved the three saw five multi-colored horses and what looks like a baby dragon glaring daggers at the three as to what they predicted to be in battle stances.
"Drobot your pretty much the leader here, what do we do? From looks of these ponies and the hatchling they might mbe threatning to attack." Whirlwind whispered.
"Then we attack them first until Spyro returns from his objective." said Drobot so the ponies can hear him.
"But what if there just scared?"
"My scans say that there is no fear inside any of them especially the pink one."
"What-ever you say."
Drobot then stepped forward as the pony with wings and a horn whispered something to the hatchling which made him go hide behind a tree.'Must've told him to take cover' thought Drobot as he stopped in front of the remainig five.
"Leave, for you are tresspassing and interrupting with our primary objective." boomed Drobot surprising the five.
"We're not leaving until ya give us the critter behind you!" said the orange one turning her gaze torwards Flynn.
"Drobot there trying to take Flynn" whispered Whirlwind.
"I've noticed, we must protect Flynn and hold of the equines until Spyro and the others get back."
Twilight stepped up to Drobot until they were mere inches from eachother wondering what kind of dragons are these because they weren't any dragons in Equestria. "Like we said we are not leaving untill you give up the weasel-biped." said Twilight as her horn starts to glow.
"You think you guys can surpass us." said Drobot
"We don't think we know you hunk of metal!" said Rarity as her flared as well. Drobot was about to start blasting when he stopped and noticed something. 'Weren't there five of them and not four? Ok head count, purple,orange,pink,marshmelow, yell-'
"WHIRLWIND!!!!! FLYNN!!!!!!" boomed Drobot as Whirlwind turned around to see Flynn taken to the sky by Fluttershy.
"Oh no you don't!" yelled Whirlwind as to the ponies surprise summoned a tornado and knocked Fluttershy out the sky.
"FLUTTERSHY" screamed the mares as Whirlwind took off to catch Flynn and leave the falling pegasus. Twilight and her friends looked in horror as they saw Fluttershy falling to her death. Twilight was about to take off until a blue blur zipped pass Fluttershy and setting her on the ground safely. "Alright Rainbow Dash!" screamed Pinkie as the rainbow maned pony landed by her friends.
"Ok you punks get ready for the beating of a life time!" yelled Rainbow Dash
"Skylanders to battle!" yelled Flashwing.
Drobot shot two lasers from his eyes and at the group who dodged it with ease. He was then tackled by the Pikie and Rarity as they were pelting him in the face with their hooves. Drobot used his thrusters to escape the two and ram in to Pinkie and sent her skidding across the deck. He then felt a pain in his wing he looked at it to see sparks coming from it and to see Rarity blasting bolts of magic at him. Drobot charged torwards Rarity as she was still firing bolts at him with Drobot dodging as he got closer. Right when he thought he was close enough to land a blow he was blasted back by Pinkie who somehow got a blue cannon and blasted another round of confetti in his face. Drobot was tired of this foolishness as he spread his wings having two spiked-like discs come out and straight for Rarity and Pinkie. who both ducked only to get a new hair due.
"Love the hair-cut! HAHAHAHA!" laughed Drobot as he pointed to the to ponies.
"You brute! How dare you mess with my beautiful mane!" screamed Rarity as Pinkie just blew in her hoof and just like a baloon a new mane popped on her head. Drobot was still laughing on the ground until he saw the two mares charge him again. "Oh crap." he said as it was too late as they tackled him again.
Whirlwind was taking on Twilight and Rainbow as they soared through the air like bullets. Twilight would fire at here only for here to dodge it and send back a blast of rainbows. Rainbow then jumped on a cloud and made lightning struck right in Whirlwinds back . She then fell out of the sky, but then she regaind her balance and rushed Rainbow on the cloud. Whirlwind then head-butted Rainbow off the cloud and knocking her pas Twilight who fired a bolt right in her horn. keeping her stunned long enough for her to help Rainbow Dash. Rainbow then recovered and flew torwards Twilight.
"Rainbow are you ok?" said twilight concerned.
'I'm fine. I'm going to help Pinkie and Rares they seem to be having trouble." Twilight nodded as rainbow flew back down to the steam boat, Twilight and whirlwind horns both glowed and they flew to eachothe like a bullet and colliding in a flash of light.
Flashwing was handling Applejack and partly of Fluttershy. Applejack bucked her in the chest for Flashwing to stagerback for her to recover and hit her with her crystal wings. Applejack then took her lasso and wrapped it aroud Flashwing's tail. "YeeHaw!" yelled Applejack as Flashwing tried her best to get the rope off her by dragging Applejack all over the deck of the ship. "Let go of my beautiful tail!" screamed Flashwing as she spread her wings and spun at a speed that would make you hurl and flung Applejack off her tail.
Rainbow was battling Drobot now because Pinki and Rarity were now exhasted. They flew all around the ship at super sonic speeds. Drobot then hit the breaks and having Rainbow hit his back as she groaned in pain she bucked him sqaure in the head cracking on of his red glass eyes. She then flew up to a cloud and bucked it striking Drobot as he fell to his knees. "Power at two-hundred percent!? Well won't you look at that!" said Drobot as he blasted a giant red beam and hit the tip of Rainbow's wing which sent her crashing on the deck of the ship.
Some where in the Everfree forest
Spyro, Cynder and Bash were walking from the zebra's hut to tell the rest of the gang that there was a town for them to take refuge in. Until they saw a huge red beam come from where the ship was at.
"What in the hack was that!?" yelled Bash
"That's probaly Drobot, something must be wrong," said Spyro, "Come on, we need to see what's going on." The two skylanders nodded as they ran threw the forest back to their ship, When Spyro stopped to see a small purple dragon hiding behind a tree. The three stopped and stared at the dragon in confusion. As Spyro stepped torwards him he backed away like he was afraid, Spyro then stopped advancing and held out his claw. "Hey there I'm not going to hurt you.What's your name and what are you doing out here?" Spike then stood up, "My name is Sp-Spike and me and my friends are here because we saw three other dragons about to eat the weasel thing." Spyro only looked confused weasel thing? he thought. "Spike I have something important to ask you." said Spyro. "Yeah what is it?" replied Spike.
"Are your friends popular?"
"Yeah their the elements of harmony."
"Are they ponies?"
"Yeeeep."
"And are there six of them?"
"Of course."
"Oh no." Spyro said as he shifted his gaze of the battle taking place on the ship. Cynder and Bash stared at him with wide eyes.
"Spyro we have to stop them Thier our only chance on getting home." cried Cynder.
"I know!", yelled Spyro as he ran out, "SKYLANDERS STOP ATTACKING!!!! STOP!!!!!" Everyone freezed to see Spyro, Bash, Cynder, and Spike run out.
"Spike what are you doing!?" yelled Twilight as she landed in front of them glaring at Spyro expecting to be the leader.
"It's ok Twilight, these guys are on our side." said Spike which only got a gasp from Twilight.
"It's true", said Spyro as Twilight's gazed torwards him as he looked in her purple irises.'Man her eyes are beautifuuu- Where the heck did that come from?!' Spyro then shook his head from the random thought, "Uh we just crashed here andwere trying to find a plae to stay." said Spyro as he saw the rest of his Skylanders fly to his side with Flynn and Twilight's friends go on her side. "Then why were you guys trying to eat that poor defenseless weasel thing." squeaked Fluttershy. "Weasel thing?" asked Bash. Applejack looking annoyed pointed to Flynn.
"Oh you mean Flynn, don't worry he is our friend, eventhough sometimes he can have a plate in his head he is pretty cool." said Pyro as Rainbow flew in his face.
"Then prove it!" Spyro simply nodded and shook Flynn.
"Hey Flynn are you ok?"
"Ugh Spyro where are we?" asked Flynn as he saw the ponies and small dragon,"OMG! Talking Ponies!" screamed Flynn as he passed out again.
"Seee? He is with us." said Cynder. The six ponies had softened expressions now as Twilight hung her head low.
"Wow we've really messed up I hope you can-"
"There is no need to apologize." said Spyro cutting of Twilight
"Of course there is!" protested Twilight, "we've attacked your friends assuming you guys were trying to eat a defenseless animal."
"It's ok it's our fault we've should of told you what was going on instead of jumping in to action." said Spyro looking at Drobot who just backed away.
"Ok if that's fine with you." said Twilight with a smile, "Oh how rude of me not to introduce ourselves. My name is Twilight Sparkle, and this is Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Raibow Dash, and this little dragon is my assisstant Spike."
"Nice to meet you all. My name is Spyro and this is Cynder, Bash, Flashwing, Drobot, Whirlwind, and the guy sleeping is Flynn. said Spyro as he saw Spike come up to Twilight.
"Twilight they said they need a place to stay is it ok if we help them?" asked Spike with pleading eyes.
"Of course Spike," she said while she hugged the little dragon with her wing, "But they all can't fit in the library though, the rest of them are going to have to saty with the others, if that's ok with you guys." said twilight as she gazed to her friends as they simply nodded.
"So Spyro was it, lets get youand your friends to the library so we can figure out how to fix your ship." twilight said.
"Thanks Twilight we really appreciate it even from a pretty mare like yourself." Spyro said as Twilight blushed from the compliment. She then 'coughed' in her hoof and turned to Spike.
"But before we go to Ponyville, Spike take a letter."
Dear Princess Celestia,
Six dragons and a weasel-like creature have crash landed in the Everfree forest, and are now stuck here with no way of getting home. We are now taking them to Ponyville to get them used to the town and teach them more about friendship because they need it and when I say mean it, I really mean they need it. We haven't figured out where their going to stay and will disscuss that when we get there. I am super excited to learn about them especially there leader Spyro.
