What Am I Doing?

   " You know, you aren't the most confident pony either." Lily said as her and Blue were riding the ferris wheel. They had spent the whole night together. Laughing, talking and doing absolutely horrible at eye contact. How do I know this? Well, she told me EVERY. LAST. DETAIL. They had been talking about how Cinnamon and Melody were dodging their 'feelings' for each other. All of the sudden, Blue brought up how he has a hard time with that stuff. Emotions. He looked at her in a way that made her realize, he liked her back.

"Well, I am trying to do this right, Lily." He said softly. Lily blushed and looked at the view from the top of the spinning wheel. He laughed and smiled. " Lily?" HE asked her. She turned back around and smiled. She looked in his eyes and thought she might melt. Blue chuckled and leaned in until there muzzles were almost together. Then, Lily smiled and....

"Oh my goodness, Lily please stop." Melody said, interrupting her alicorn friend before she could say anything more. Melody was plugging her ears. I sat and wondered about it. Lily and Blue.... Blue and Lily......

"OH MY GOODNESS BLUELILY!!!" I shouted, scaring them both. Lily blushed and Melody shook her head.

"Shimmerz, you are a genius.." She said. " Shipping... Shipping everywhere!!" She said, grabbing Lily and shaking her. Lily pushed Melody away and smiled.

"Whatever. You guys are crazy." She said, starting to walk towards the exit of the park.

"But. You guys are gonna be so cute together!!!" Melody shouted. We exited the park and saw all three colts running towards us. Lily hid behind Melody and gave me a ' hide' look. I shook my head and smiled. As the colts came closer, Melody raised an eyebrow. "SLOW DOWN" She shouted. They all stopped at least three feet away from us and sat on their haunches. "Fire?"

"No"

"Kiddnapping??"

"Nope"

"Pinkamina??"

"No.. Wait what??

"Nothing!" Melody looked at me and smiled, evilly. I chuckled and looked at the colts again.

"What are you crazy ponies doing?" I asked them. They all looked at each other and smiled. Cinnamon stood up and walked behind Melody and looked at Lily.

"Congrats!!!" He shouted, sarcastically. Lily's eyes widened Blue got up and pushed Cinnamon's head making Cinnamon almost fall over. Blue gave Lily a hoof and he helped her up.

"That's not the reason we came." Blue said, looking at Blitz. We all looked at Blitz who was still sitting on the ground. He cleared his throat and stood up.

"There's a spell." He said, mysteriously. We all gave him a deadpanned look. "Ugh, a spell that can make ponies immortal without being Alicorns." He said.

"What?!" We all said in unison. He smiled and looked at me.

" All we need is two Alicorns and a changeling." He said. I looked at the group. This was a great thing. I mean, only Blitz, Lily and I were going to live longer than every pony else. These were my friends, family practically...

"Let's do it."

We set up in the  basement of Lily and Blitz's house. I was pacing back and forth, trying to decide if the spell was hard enough or not. I mean, I could do it but, this could unlock immortality for all ponies, causing takeovers, wars

"Shimmerz??" Blitz said, interrupting my thoughts and my pacing. I looked at him and smiled. " Are you okay?" He asked me.

"Yep" I said to him. I sighed and concentrated on Saderine. I closed my eyes and heard a flash. I opened my eyes and felt my fangs resting very uncomfortably in my mouth. I opened my mouth and poked my fangs with my hoof. "They're alright, just haven't been used in a while." I said to Blitz who was giving me a concerning look. Lily walked over to us and smiled.

"Ready?" She asks us. We both nodded and started walking to the center of the large underground room. A circle made of a star was drawn with chalk. Each had a circle on each point. This wasn't a normal star though, it was six pointed, for all of us. I stopped in a circle and the others entered theirs. Lily nodded at Blitz who nodded at me. We closed our eyes and concentrated. I clenched my teeth. It was hard. I could feel the Alicorn energy but, that's not something changelings are used to. My eyes flashed open. I could see the transformation happening right before my eyes. A mixture of pink, purple and light brown blurs surrounded Melody, Blue and Cinnamon. They each looked sorta scared but, confident. The magic flowed all throughout the room, making it very bright. It was getting brighter. Once it was almost blinding, it popped and sent all of us flying to different corners of the room. I felt magic surging through my head and tried to stand up with little success.

"Ow... Immortality hurts.." Cinnamon said, rubbing his head. He smiled at Melody who was upside-down on the wall. Her eyes spun in her head and laughed.

"Did it work??" She asked as she flopped onto the ground. We all turned to Blitz and Lily. Lily shrugged and looked at Blitz.

"Only the changeling could see the transformation happening. Shimmer Shine??" All attention was turned on me and I thought. Light. Flash. Pop.

"Yeah. It worked." Everypony leaped up and wrapped in a group hug. I turned back into Shimmer Shine and smiled. A combination af laughter echoed throughout the room.

"Now we will all be together!!! Forever!!" Melody exclaimed. We stood in a circle and smiled.

"Forever"

        "Shimmerz!! That never happened!!"
