That is perhaps the best way that one could describe Ascentia. Broken. Despite Twilight's best efforts to correct her behavior, violence never truly leaves someone's heart once it has been allowed to dig it's claws in. And unfortunately for her, there are only so many times you can kick the kitten before the kitten claws your face.
