There you are!” Came the voice of one of Spectrum’s friends, Skyward Soar as he and another student came over to him, “We’ve been lookin’ for ya! We were thinking of hitting up the arcade after school! You in?” “Uh, nah,” Spectrum said, shoving his books back into his locker and exhaling harshly, “I’m exhausted. Think I’m gonna go home and have a nap.” “Aw come on, man,” Grounder pouted, “Don’t leave us hanging, now!” “Grounder, you’re just gonna do what you always do,” Spectrum sighed, “You’re gonna blow all your money on that chance machine, then bitch for hours about it being rigged. Besides, my Mom’s coming home from the hospital this weekend, so I wanna be awake to see her this time.” “She’s still in there?” Skyward Soar asked in bewilderment. “No, not like when I was little. She got really sick last month,” Spectrum said, waving it off, “She’s getting better, so nothing to worry about.” Skyward Soar whistled, “Shit, man. That sucks. Well hey, it’s your Mom, guess we can always go next time or something.” “Thanks,” Spectrum yawned, “My Aunt’s coming to pick me up soon. I got some time if you guys wanted to shoot the shit.” “Wait, which Aunt? You got like, that hot twin sister Aunt of your Mom’s and then all your Moms’ friends!” Grounder asked. “Twin sister? Cielle’s Mom’s girlfriend,” Spectrum said in confusion, “Aunt Twilight’s picking me up.” “Princess Twilight Sparkle?!” Both his friends shouted in unison. “You mean Sunrise Sparkle’s Mom?!” Skyward Soar exclaimed, “Whoa, man! That’s crazy!” “How’s it crazy?” Spectrum asked, “Aunt Twilight’s really nice.” “It’s not that man, it’s that you got the hottest girl in school’s own Mom, who’s also pretty hot at her age and a Princess coming to pick you you up!” Grounder said, wide-eyed, “Whoa! You’re lucky, dude!” “It’s just a ride home,” Spectrum shrugged, “Aunt Ascentia picked me up yesterday and nobody made a fuss about it then.” “Still, man, that’s pretty awesome!” Skyward Soar clapped him on the back, “You got some awesome connections!” “Connections? She’s family, not a connection,” Spectrum scoffed, “Next you’re gonna be telling me that Sunrise is a really big deal.” “Uh, dude, she totally is! A Princess AND the hottest girl in school?! How is that not a big deal?” Grounder snorted. Spectrum shrugged, “I guess I’ve known her too long. We’ve been like brother and sister for as long as I can remember.” Now both his friends stared at him with widened eyes and slacked jaws. “Say what?! You never told us that!” Said Grounder. “No kidding,” Skyward gaped, “You and Sunrise Sparkle are friends?!” “Yeah,” Spectrum said matter of factly, “We’ve been friends since we were really little. Mom keeps telling me about this time she kept standing on my head when I was a baby.” Both his friends burst into laughing, slapping each other’s knees. “Dude, that’s way awesome!” Skyward snickered, “You and Sunrise Sparkle, who’d have thunk it?” “People know we’re friends,” Spectrum shrugged, “You must have seen us leaving school together every day since Kindergarten.” Grounder shrugged, “Dude, who even remembers those days?” Spectrum shrugged and then lurched forward as something tall smacked into his back, wrapping it’s arms around his waist in a tight hug. “Oof… hi Sunny,” he groaned. “Heya, Speccy! Come on, Mom’s waiting outside!” Sunrise said eagerly, grinning. Spectrum reached back and hugged her as best he could, “Alright, I’ll just be a second. Chatting with the guys, won’t be long.” At this, Skyward Soar and Grounder were slack-jawed yet again with absolute disbelief. They glanced at each other, then at Spectrum and Sunrise again, speechless. “Okay, honey bunch! I’ll be at the front of the school!” Sunrise planted a kiss on his cheek before she then headed off down the hallway. Spectrum waved as she left, turning back and seeing his friends looking dumbfounded, “What?” “Dude… She’s totally into you!” Grounder exclaimed. “Huh? What are you talking about?” Spectrum asked. “You serious?” Skyward said with a frown, “Dude, did you not see the way she was hanging off you, giving you those eyes and then kissing you like that? I don’t know if you missed the memo, but chicks like her don’t kiss just anybody! Best friend or not!” “She does that all the time, ever since we were five,” Spectrum said, waving him off, “Honestly, I always thought Sunny was like her mothers and preferred women.” “Dude, chicks like her totally don’t do the gay thing, trust me!” “What’ya mean chicks like her?” Spectrum asked, getting increasingly annoyed by his friends. “Never mind, man,” Grounder brought an arm around his shoulders, “Point is, she wants you! She’d bend over for you if you asked her to!” Spectrum shook out of Grounder’s grip, “Dude! Not funny. Sunrise isn’t like that, and she sure as hell doesn’t want me that way. We’re friends, we’ve always been friends. Like… Kim Possible and Ron Sto-okay, bad example. Point is, there’s nothing else between us. Trust me.” Both boys exchanged glances then laughed. “Yeah right, dude!” “Come back in a week and tell us that same thing!” Spectrum scoffed and turned around, “I’ll see you nutcases later.” He strode off, meeting Sunrise at the car and getting into the back seat, sighing in exasperation. “Sunny, I hate my friends. Can we trade?” Sunrise snickered, “Are you kidding me? My friends are pretty sucky, too! Better idea, let’s set up our friends and then they’ll be too busy dating to bother us!” “I don’t think that’ll work,” Spectrum said flatly, “My friends have all the charisma of a truck. Yours would have to be pretty loose to date them.” “Trust me, honey bunch, they’ll do anyone with a dick,” Sunrise made a face, “They’re so desperate for boyfriends, it’s not even funny.” “Sunrise!” Twilight scolded from the driver’s seat, “What did I tell you about that kind of language?” Spectrum chuckled, “They’re cheerleaders, why would they be desperate?” “Sorry, Ma,” Sunrise pouted, then looked back at her friend, “Trust me, they are. Every day, it’s boys boys boys boys boys and more boys! I just want them to get boyfriends so they’ll shut up, then get dumped, and realize some reality of the dating world!” “Yeah, but why do they have to even try? They’re cheerleaders, they could have anyone they wanted,” Spectrum laughed, “Then again, every guy in school keeps talking about you so I guess they’re all in your shadow.” “Urgh, I know! And I hate it!” Sunrise sighed, “I mean, some teachers even called me Princess Sunrise! I know it’s my legal name and all, but come ON! It just sucks! I’m not even really that hot! So what’s the big deal with me? I don’t get it!” Spectrum leaned over and hugged her, “Aw, don’t sell yourself short, Sunny. You’re a beautiful girl. Most of the guys are just horny losers, they’re harmless. Might wanna start carrying some mace anyway, though.” “Don’t worry, Ma made sure of that,” Sunrise pulled out a can of mace from her bag, “Thing is, it just sucks because I never know who I can trust. You’re, like, the only real friend I have, Speccy. Everyone else is either too scared to talk to me, hits on me, or wants to be popular ‘cause they know me.” Spectrum smiled and kissed the top of her head, “Love you too, Sunny.” Blushing a bit, Sunrise grinned, “Good to know, Speccy!” Twilight was watching them in the rearview mirror with a big goofy grin on her face, three times nearly swerving off the road because of how distracted she was. Dropping the two off at Spectrum’s house, they went inside to find it empty. “Here’s a note from Scootaloo,” Spectrum said, “‘Dear Spec, went to pick up Mom. Be back tonight.’ Looks like we have the house to ourselves.” “Oh, that’s right! She’s finally better!” Sunrise grinned, “That’s good to know.” Spectrum flopped down on the couch, sighing comfortably, “So what’dya wanna do?” Sunrise giggled, “Oh, I don’t know… it’ll probably be a while before they get back, eh?” “Yeah, six hours or so,” Spectrum said, leaning back and closing his eyes, “Why?” “Why? It means we can do what we please!” Sunrise winked, sitting on the couch and scooting close to him. Spectrum sat up, “Have anything in mind?” “Uh, hello?” Sunrise gave him a look, “We’re two teenagers, alone in one of our homes with our parents and siblings, if any, gone for a long while.” “Yeah? And?” Spectrum asked, looking confused. “And? And?” Sunrise advanced on him, “I might have a few….ideas, Speccy.” “Well… what are they?” Spectrum asked, becoming increasingly confused. Sunrise snorted, then stood up, “Let’s go to your room, silly. It’ll be more comfortable on your bed.” Spectrum sighed and stood up, following her, “What will be more comfortable?” “What do two people usually do on a bed together?” Sunrise said, “Aside from sleeping or cuddling!” “We used to jump on ours a lot,” Spectrum shrugged, “We might break it if we tried that, though.” Letting out a heavy sigh, Sunrise pulled him into his room and shut the door, “Uh, hello? That’s not what I meant, either! All right, I’m gonna make it a bit clearer. It’s what your Moms, sometimes with Aunt Cielle, do together in their bedroom!” Spectrum thought for a moment, and Sunrise could have sworn she heard the Jeopardy theme playing in the distance, “...I’m totally lost, Sunny.” “Hello?! How can you be lost?!” Sunrise uttered, groaning. She turned around, bending over to present her rear, “I’m talking about sex!” Spectrum balked, standing there with his eyebrows raised and a dumbfounded look on his face, “...What the… are you serious?” “Yes!” Sunrise stood back up, “Come on, please? I’ve wanted this since puberty! ...Actually, I’m kinda lying, it’s not just that. I want you, Spectrum! All those guys in school, hitting on me? No thanks! I want you! You! You’re my best friend and the only guy who understands and cares about me. I dated that guy last year to try to get over you! But it didn’t work. I just wanted you even more! Call me crazy, but it’s true! I love you, Speccy! And I don’t want anyone else to do this with but you!” Spectrum’s dumbfounded looks only became more dumbfounded. Shaking off most of his initial shock, he tried to make sense of everything that had just happened in the last few minutes. A feat that proved to be difficult considering that Sunrise had just said more than a mouthful. “...So… let me get this straight,” he said slowly, “You’ve had a crush on me… for how long?” “I don’t know! A long time, I guess,” Sunrise admitted, “For as long as I can remember.” “...Really? I thought I was like a little brother to you?” Spectrum asked, moving closer. Sunrise sighed a bit, shaking her head, “I thought the same thing. I always thought that we were like brother and sister, since we grew up together like siblings. But when I caught myself looking at you and thinking of you beyond platonic or family love… yeah.” Spectrum laid a hand on her shoulder and smirked a bit, “And you thought the best way to tell me was by presenting yourself to me?” “Well, duh! Ma says you take after your Mama like that, where you gotta have the direct truth laid out for you,” Sunrise pouted, “I have dropped hint after hint after hint hoping you’d get the message so I… wouldn’t have to say it outright. I know, I know! But still, you know?” Spectrum chuckled a bit and pulled her into a hug, “Sunny, you’re silly.” “I’m not trying to be silly! I’m a lady,” Sunrise pouted even more, but hugged him back, “But let me guess. You don’t feel the same way, blah blah blah, that’s fine. Just, get it over with, okay? I don’t want all the reasons you don’t like me. Just say it out and we’ll still be friends.” Spectrum pulled back a bit and laughed, “Sunny, I once saw you eat a handful of dirt on a dare. You’re as much of a lady as Mom is,” he moved forward and kissed her before she could retort. Taken aback by the sudden gesture, Sunrise immediately returned it once the initial surprise wore off. She brought her arms around him in a passionate embrace, happily melting into his form. Spectrum hadn’t really known what he was doing, really just acting on impulse, but he was glad he did. The way Sunrise melted into his arms felt really nice, and the little moans and squeaks she was making were adorable. To top it off, she tasted good. Really good. Looks like the guys were right after all. After what seemed like an hour but was probably only a few minutes, the two pulled apart, breathing harshly. “Sunny… how long have you wanted to…” he made an insinuating gesture with his head. “Eh, long enough,” Sunrise shrugged a bit. “Do you…” Spectrum took a breath as he felt his heart start to race, “Do you still want to?” Sunrise blushed quite a bit, “Er, actually, we should wait. I uh, don’t want to rush things, you know? I got a little carried away. Hey, I still want to! But I don’t want to screw it up.” Spectrum nodded and breathed a sigh of both relief and disappointment (how that’s possible I will never know) and hugged her tightly, “G-Good idea. You had me kinda nervous about that.” “Sorry, Speccy,” Sunrise hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek, “I wasn’t really thinking. I kinda just saw the opportunity and wanted to grab it. So I’m not about to say we gotta wait till we get married or anything, but I guess we should date a while, see what happens.” Spectrum smiled and nuzzled her, “Looks like the guys were right after all… speaking of which, should we tell our folks?” “Are you kidding? They’re gonna throw a party when we do!” Sunrise laughed, “I remember they used to joke about this kind of thing when we were kids. It’s been ages since they did, though. I wonder what they’re gonna think… Ah, who cares. Let’s just tell ‘em! Your Moms are gonna be back soon, so we’ll tell ‘em then. That is if your Mom isn’t feeling too bad now that she’s outta the hospital.” Spectrum hand waved, “Eh, she’s always going to the hospital. Remember how she lived there for, what was it, three years when we were really little? Ma still won’t tell me why she was in there so long. Remember that time we tried to ask Scoots and she had a panic attack right in the kitchen? Spaz…” “Mom always says that sometimes, there are things that just aren’t our business or whatever, so I guess it’s grownup stuff,” Sunrise snorted, “I remember when Mama had to go to the hospital a lot when I was a kid. Mom always said that it was because she needed surgery and some upkeep on damaged organs. I asked her why that was, and she got a little weirded out and said she told me when I was like, three. I don’t remember it!” Spectrum’s eye narrowed a bit, “Sunny, you’ve never looked up your mother, have you?” “No, why?” Spectrum pulled out his phone and tapped the screen a few times, bringing up Princess Twilight’s wikipedia page. “Right there, it takes up half the article,” he said, turning the phone to her. Reading it over, Sunrise was stricken with surprise as she read the contents of it. It was a story covering the years that Twilight had been reported as a domestic abuser and rapist to Ascentia, with some excerpts of quotes and police reports littered about. Most shocking was that she found her mother had never pressed charges. It went on for a couple of years, before Twilight eventually sought out extensive therapy, that she still continued to this day. “Oh my God… given the date, must’ve happened before I was even born…” Sunrise realized, bringing a hand to her mouth. “I don’t know what kind of therapy she got, but considering how much Aunt Ascentia is always hanging off her like a lovestruck puppy, it must have been good,” Spectrum shrugged. “I guess so… for as long as I can remember, Mom never hit me or Mama. Anytime she was mad, she either went to her room or went for a walk,” Sunrise recalled. “Yeah, but at least you get to know what’s going on,” Spectrum shrugged, “I don’t get a word from Ma, or Scoots. They don’t tell me a thing.” “I guess… it was kinda scary or painful for them, too,” Sunrise reasoned, “And they feel that they don’t want to trouble you about it.” “I hate not knowing, though!” Spectrum grumbled, sitting down and pouting. Sunrise hugged him sweetly, “Maybe we should talk to them when they come in. You know, just ask them all curious and stuff.” “Maybe,” Spectrum sighed, pulling Sunrise into his lap and snuggling her, “Love you, Sunny.” Grinning widely, Sunrise kissed his cheek and snuggled close, “I love you too, Speccy.” I Have A Shotgun In The Back Closet“Ma? Mom? Can we talk to you for a second?” Sunrise asked, knocking on her mothers’ bedroom door. “Sure thing, sweetheart! Come on in,” Twilight called from the bedroom. Spectrum’s eyebrow raised as they tentatively opened the door to find Twilight and Ascentia lying on their bed, snuggling up together and still dressed. Breathing a sigh of relief, he let Sunrise lead. “Well… there’s something that we have to tell you, and I know how you’re going to react when you hear it, so let’s just get it over with,” Sunrise said with a sigh. “Oh no, is this good news, or are you pregnant?” Ascentia asked flatly. Sunrise balked, “No! We’re just dating!” Twilight brought her hands to her mouth and squealed in delight, her eyes wide and a big grin on her face. Ascentia’s mouth was hanging wide open, to which Twilight tapped the side of her face. “Don’t hang your jaw open like that,” she said with a snicker. “Sorry,” Ascentia said, closing her mouth, “I’m just… surprised. I shouldn’t be, we saw this a mile off, but… surprised.” Sunrise shrugged, “Yep, so we are! Just don’t start throwing silly parties yet, okay? We didn’t even go on our first date. So can we please test the waters before you guys all go crazy about it?” “Okay, honey,” Twilight giggled, “I understand. Of course. Take all the time you two need.” Ascentia sat up and held her arms out, “Come on, you two. Give us a hug.” Exchanging glances, Sunrise and Spectrum crawled over to the bed and gave them both a hug, and were pulled into a big group hug. Twilight could barely contain her squee as she nuzzled her daughter and pseudo-nephew. “Ooooh, you two were always so cute together,” she giggled, kissing Sunrise’s head. “I knooow, we totally are,” Sunrise blushed a bit. Ascentia chuckled and kissed the top of Spectrum’s head, giving his shoulders a playful squeeze, “Now don’t you get any ideas, Mister. Sunny may not have a dad, but I have a shotgun in the back closet.” “Ma! Come on!” Sunrise whined. “Oh don’t ‘Ma come on’ me, I’ve been waiting sixteen years to do that!” Ascentia said, sticking her tongue out. “It’s true, she has,” Twilight chuckled, winking at the two. Ascentia reached over and kissed Sunrise’s cheek, “You know, Spec, she used to connect the dots on my back when she was really little.” Sunrise squirmed uncomfortably in Twilight’s arms. “Sweetie? What’s wrong?” they both asked in unison. “Nothing, just… never mind,” Sunrise pulled away, shaking her head. The both of them looked unsatisfied and turned to Spectrum, “What’s wrong?” “She actually looked you up, Aunt Twilight,” Spectrum said softly, “I actually thought she knew about it all, but turns out she didn’t. She’s just kinda uncomfortable about it.” “Looked me up, what does… oh…” Twilight said softly, hugging Sunrise tighter, “Sunny, that happened a long long time ago. And… well, I felt just as bad about it as you do now. I’ve apologized to your mother countless times for it, and…” “I’ve forgiven her over and over and over again,” Ascentia said softly, running her fingers through Sunrise’s hair, “It’s all behind us now, and you don’t need to worry about it.” Sniffling, Sunrise looked up at them, holding back tears, “You never hit her again since then?” Twilight shook her head, “No. It’s been sixteen years since my last outburst. I’ve never struck her, or you, ever since. That was why I was trying to get better. Because I didn’t want to end up hurting you.” “What about hurting Ma?” Sunrise asked quietly. “Her, too. I didn’t want her to live her life in fear of me. I don’t doubt she loved me, but to live that way, I couldn’t let it happen anymore,” Twilight sighed. “...Okay,” Sunrise said, hugging her waist tightly, “I’m sorry I let it get to me, Mom.” “You have nothing to be sorry for, Sunny. I can understand how you’re feeling,” Twilight assured, kissing her forehead. “Now, you two quit your worrying and go have fun,” Ascentia smiled, nuzzling the two of them, “And Spec, I was just kidding. I’m not getting the shotgun. You two go have all the fun you want.” “Okay. Thanks, you guys,” Sunrise hugged her mothers, “You’re both still lame, by the way.” Twilight laughed, “Wouldn’t have it any other way, honey bunch.” “Hey, I may be lame, but I could still pin the two of you,” Ascentia said, nuzzling up under Twilight’s chin. “Of course, Aunt Ascentia,” Spectrum said sarcastically, “You’re positively ferocious. Like a tiger.” “She doesn’t call me Kitten for nothing,” Ascentia smirked. “Your Mama brought you up wrong,” Twilight teased Spectrum, poking his nose, “Now run along, you two.” Sunrise grabbed Spectrum’s hand, leading him out of the room, “O-kay, so that wasn’t nearly as awkward as I thought. Thanks for that, Speccy. I owe you one.” “Why, what did I do?” Spectrum asked. “If you hadn’t been there, I never would’ve never been able to say it,” Sunrise hugged him, nuzzling his cheek. “Aw, you’re welcome,” Spectrum smiled, kissing her forehead, “So my parents next?” “I can’t wait to see what funny line Aunt Cielle’s gonna say,” Sunrise grinned. “Mom? You feeling okay?” Spectrum asked as him and Sunrise stepped into the living room, where Fluttershy and Cielle were sitting on either side of Rainbow Dash. “Yeah… I’m okay,” Rainbow sighed, “Just a little… hazy from the sedatives.” “Yeowch,” Sunrise hissed, “Well, maybe some good news will brighten things!” “Oh? What is it?” Fluttershy asked curiously. Spectrum bit his lip in nervousness, not wanting the three of them to jump on him in overt glee, “Well… me and Sunny are… well, we’re dating.” Much to their surprise, the three women simply smiled brightly. “Aww, that’s freaking cool. Knew it was coming,” Cielle laughed, “Good for you little loverbirdies. Real-life Pebbles and Bam-Bam you are!” Fluttershy giggled, “That’s wonderful. Good for you both.” “Pebbles and Bam Bam?” Sunrise asked, an eyebrow raised, “That’s not funny, Aunt Cielle.” Spectrum blushed and scooted back a bit, hiding from the attention behind Sunrise, “Th-Thanks, Mom… Auntie Cielle…” Sunrise frowned a bit, “Something I never understood. Cielle is your sister, but you two act like she’s your girlfriend. Which is it?” Rainbow snickered weakly, “Both, sillies. What’d you think?” “...You can do that with a sibling?” Sunrise asked, an eyebrow raised. “Oh, yes,” Fluttershy chimed in, “It’s incestuous, or twincest as some call it. We’ve been together for, wow, sixteen years now.” “Yeah Sunny, the Cake twins do the same thing,” Spectrum said. Sunrise blinked, thinking this over, “Okay, so… let me get this straight. You two are married… And she’s your girlfriend, too? And everyone’s okay with that? Well, why didn’t you marry them, too?” “Polygamy isn’t legal,” Rainbow shrugged, “You can only have one spouse.” “Don’t some places practice that?” Sunrise mentioned. “Well, yes, they do,” Fluttershy said, “But around here it’s not legal.” “It’s okay though, I’m family!” Cielle said with a grin, “It’s kinda like it, except it’s not, so no worries, kids. It’s no big deal. We’re just glad to be here together, that’s all.” Sunrise nodded, “Okay, I think I get it… hey, where’s Scootaloo? I wanna tell her the news too!” “She went to Sweetie and Apple Bloom’s house,” Fluttershy said, “She’ll be back sometime tomorrow.” “Okay,” Sunrise smiled, “So you guys are okay with… us?” “Are you high? Of course we are! We’ve been cooing about it since you were babies!” Cielle laughed, “You two are absolutely adorable!” Rainbow giggled, reaching over to pat her son’s head, “Totally. You go for it, kiddo. Have fun with this.” “Thanks, Ma,” Spectrum blushed a bit, “Guys, don’t make a fuss, okay? We just, you know, we just kinda started. We wanna get into dating a bit before Aunt Pinkie inevitably throws us a party.” “That’s all right, taking it slow is a good idea,” Fluttershy smiled, “Don’t worry, we’ll make sure to keep it low key.” “You’re one to talk, we never took it slow,” Rainbow smirked, giving Fluttershy a playful shove. “No, but Sunny’s parents did,” Fluttershy said, booping her nose. “Really?” “Oh yeah, they were dating for, what was it, seven months before they finally slept together,” Rainbow shrugged, “Poor Ascentia.” “What do you mean?” Sunrise asked. “Back when they were dating in high school, Ascentia wanted to get into Twilight’s pants so badly,” Rainbow laughed, “And Twilight made her wait. It was actually pretty funny to watch.” “Can’t say I’m surprised,” Spectrum admitted. “Anyway, call it learning from the past,” Fluttershy giggled, “You two have fun, okay?” “Oh, believe me, we will,” Sunrise smirked, playfully grabbing Spectrum in a noogie, “We’re gonna have a blasty blast!” “Ah! Sunny!” he whined. “C’mon stud-muffin,” she giggled, “Let’s go get something at Sugarcube Corner. I’m starving.” This Story I Have Got To HearThe two burst into Sugarcube Corner to see a cheerful Pumpkin Cake at the counter. “Hey guys, what’ll it be?” she asked as the two lovebirds sat down at the counter. “Chocolate with Hot Sauce,” Spectrum grinned, which earned him a look from Sunrise, “What? It’s good!” Pumpkin giggled, “A little daring, huh? Sounds like a plan!” She got them their sweets and sat down at the counter with them while they ate. “So what have you two cuties been up to?” she asked, sipping from a soda. Giving a shrug, Sunrise finished her bite before responding, “Not much, really. Doin’ stuff at school and all that. But we decided to try dating each other, so that’s new.” Pumpkin perked up, then quickly looked around, “She’s not here… okay. So really? All this time and now the two of you finally hooked up? Nice.” Spectrum smiled, feeling more comfortable around Pumpkin Cake. She always spoke to them like they were equals, not her kids like other adults did. He remembered Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle getting the same feeling from Ascentia. “Yeah, she kinda… dropped the bomb in a really unsubtle way,” Spectrum laughed. Pumpkin Cake chuckled, “What did she do? Bend over and shout ‘Fuck me’?” “Gee, how’d you guess?” Sunrise said dryly. Pumpkin laughed loudly, “Really? I was just kidding!” “Yup,” Spectrum chuckled, “Tight jeans and everything. Nice view.” Pumpkin grinned and handed them more soda, “Oh I’ll bet. Sunny’s a cute one.” “And before you ask, nope! Nothing happened,” Sunrise winked, “We’re takin’ it slow.” “Bet Spectrum still liked the view of your cute little butt,” Pumpkin said with a smirk. Spectrum blushed and nodded, “Yup.” Giving her a playful poke in the side, Sunrise grinned, “Ooooh yeah. They don’t call me the hottest girl in school for nothing! ...Oh jeez, I did NOT just say that. Urgh! My life needs a freaking rewind button.” Pumpkin laughed loudly, “Oh sweetie, I was in the same park you were. All the boys at school wanted a piece of me, and I HATED all that attention too. I even used to get groped in the locker room. That was a real problem until Pinkie dealt with it. Then I came out that I was seeing Pound and all that attention vanished overnight. Not quite sure if it was the fact that I was seeing someone, or the fact that I was sleeping with my brother.” “Oh, right, Speccy here mentioned that earlier, since his Moms are with Aunt Cielle and all,” Sunrise said, “Man, you guys are still at it, now? Impressive.” Pumpkin nodded, “Yeah. Despite everything else we do, we love each other very much, Sunny. We’re like any other couple… with a bit of extra fun thrown in,” she giggled. “...Speccy, seriously, this town is crazy when it comes to relationships,” Sunrise deadpanned, “But hey, it’s actually kinda cool! Maybe one day it’ll get so crazy! Oooh ooh! I know! Maybe Mom’s long lost lover from so long ago comes back, ready to win her heart! But Mom’s all like, ‘I’m married and have a kid!’ and stuff! But then it all becomes crazy, and then Mom’s lover is with them now, too! And then they have kids! It’d be like, I have two Moms and a Dad! Then, those kids would be half-siblings to me, yet only kinda, and then it’s one big weird family! Wow! It’s almost worth making it happen just to tell the story!” “Eh, I’ve heard weirder,” Pumpkin smirked, sipping from her soda. “Oh yeah?” Spectrum laughed, “Like what?” Pumpkin’s smirk quickly fell and she looked around again, nervously, “Uh… okay, you guys are cool enough to keep a secret, right?” Spectrum and Sunrise both nodded, looking at her curiously. “I’m serious. This is important,” Pumpkin said, leaning in closer, “It’s not that big a deal to us, but most people might rethink shopping here if it got out.” “Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye,” Spectrum said proudly, watching as Sunrise did the same. Pumpkin relaxed, “Okay… it’s not just me and Pound doing stuff together. As much as we love each other, we’re even talking about getting married, there’s something else to it as well.” Leaning in, curious, they both asked “What?” Pumpkin sat forward and spoke quietly, “Okay, so the story of how it all happened is long and I won’t bore you with it unless you want me to, but to make it simple… the five of us, me, Pound, Pinkie, Mom and Dad, are all… sleeping with each other.” Now both Spectrum and Sunrise had slacked jaws and widened eyes. Eventually, they pushed each other’s mouths back up, completely speechless. “...Wow, really? All of you? Okay, no way, this story I have got to hear!” Sunrise whispered. “Okay, but just be warned, it get’s really dirty really quickly,” Pumpkin said, getting up and closing the store before sitting back down, “It started back when the two of us were about seventeen. We’d already come out to our parents and everything was pretty good. They even helped us get ready to go to our prom together. I know, cliche, but bite me, it was fun.” Sunrise giggled, “Hey, who cares. Cliche or not, it’s still neat to hear.” “Okay,” Pumpkin smiled, “So, it was after prom, actually. School was out, we were taking a year off so we could save up for college and still have a safety net. It was summer, we were bored out of our skulls. You two were just babies, so you probably don’t remember it. It was during that one heat wave that hit Ponyville. It was pretty bad! Temperatures rose over forty at the time.” “Yeesh! I think I remember Mom telling me once that we went to visit Aunt Cadance and Uncle Shining Armor that year. We took the train, but it was still so hot, and there wasn’t enough room, so she was holding me in her lap the whole time,” Sunrise recalled, “Anyway, go on!” “Well, so Pound and I were just doing our thing. As much as the heat was making us crazy and wanted to screw, we knew it’d just make us way too hot. We did everything we could to stay cool! Filling the tub with ice cubes, standing against the open fridge, sticking our heads into the freezer, you name it. But then, there was a bad lightning storm one night, and there was a town-wide blackout because of it. We all went down to the basement, the only cool place in the house,” Pumpkin said, making a face, “We all had to sleep together in the same room.” “Yikes, that sounds brutal,” Sunrise said, gagging, “Not to sound arrogant, but I’m glad we have family in the Arctic. I hate the heat, it makes my brain cook like the egg in that drug commercial.” “So… I don’t get it. How did sleeping in the basement lead to all of you in a sexual relationship?” Spectrum asked. Both Sunrise and Pumpkin looked at him with mild surprise. “Seriously? You’re not connecting the dots?” Sunrise said with disbelief, “The minute she said they all had to go to the basement, I was way ahead of her.” “I’ll bet,” Pumpkin giggled, “So, anyway, the outage lasted about three days. We rarely made trips upstairs unless we had to. By then, the outside was so hot, the news broadcast, which we had on a radio, said for everyone to stay inside. And we did. We stayed in the basement, using a generator for light sources, and we used the wood burning stove for food. Despite that, we had nothing to do. We told stories, played board games, charades, you name it. One night, both Pound and I were frustrated, and so we went into the utility room to make out. It was a real relief, but then we heard something. It sounded like Pinkie screaming, so we were worried and ran back out, thinking she maybe saw a big spider or something. But it turned out she, Mom and Dad were having sex. Now you’d think we would be grossed out, since it’s our parents and all. But, we weren’t. We found it hot! That kinda scared us at the time. But they let us watch after they realized we were there, and… yeah, I think you can guess what happened after.” Sunrise’s jaw was wide open, while Spectrum was sitting with his legs crossed and pointedly looking away. “Can… can you tell us anyway?” he asked. “Spectrum!” Sunrise balked, half laughing, “You perv!” “I’m sorry, it’s just… it’s a really good story,” Spectrum said with a blush. “Really good, or really hot?” Sunrise smirked. “Both, okay?” Spectrum frowned, his face flushed, “Don’t judge me!” Pumpkin smiled and patted his shoulder, “Hey, no need to be ashamed! Taboo can really spark it.” “Yeah, so… can you finish the story?” Spectrum asked, nervously. “Oh, okay,” Pumpkin giggled, “You mind, Sunny?” “No way! I want to hear this!” Sunrise grinned. “All right, well, they let us join them. I know, right? But I guess since we all had nothing to hide, and could just let it go, we went for it. It felt kinda weird at first, kissing both my parents, and Pinkie too, who was always like a big sister to us. But it was… actually so amazing. The entire family coming together like that was not only arousing as hell, but it was heartfelt. I actually enjoyed what women could do to me, I liked seeing Pinkie’s adorable face between my thighs, and I think Mom tasted so good… Like her milk… And then I had Pound and Daddy penetrating me from both ends… And I loved it,” Pumpkin murmured dreamily, giggling, “I loved being sandwiched like that, by my brother and father, or even by my Mom and Pinkie. Then sitting on Pinkie’s face while Pound was going at her… Watching Mom and Pound making out, then doing her… Oh boy, it was all awesome, I came so many times, I lost count.” By this point, both Sunrise and Spectrum had flushed faces and were sitting awkwardly, their hands entwined together, probably to keep them from venturing elsewhere. “Holy shit…” Spectrum said squeakily, “...Not gonna lie, Pumpkin. That’s… really hot. And you guys still do that to this day?” “Mm-hmm, we sure do,” Pumpkin grinned, “Whether it’s a couple of us, or a whole Cake family orgy. We love it!” “Damn… that is so freaking hot,” Sunrise mumbled, squirming a bit. Pumpkin giggled, “I’m glad you think so. Grandma and Grandpa found out about it and they were… well they were assholes about it. What is it with grandparents and being dicks?” “My grandpa is pretty cool, Grandma’s...yeah, sucky,” Sunrise made a face. Spectrum nodded, “My grandparents are either dead or in jail. But my Moms told me about how they all sucked it to them a long time ago, before I was born. I wish I could’ve seen that smackdown, it sounded so awesome.” “Oh yeah, I heard about that,” Pumpkin chuckled, “Princess Twilight laid about a dozen charges on them right after Mrs Sparkle beat the ever loving shit out of Fluttershy’s old man.” “Totally!” Sunrise grinned widely, “They told me the story too, and it was so awesome how Mama just wailed on the guy! Yeah! POW! Right in the kisser!” They both stared at her blankly. “...Oh come on, really? Nobody gets that reference?” Sunrise groaned, “What, old obscure television not good enough for you?” “No, but anyway,” Pumpkin went on, “So our grandparents pretty much cut us off since then. I mean, I know we’re better off without them if they’re gonna be bigots, but it still hurt, you know?” “Okay, not to play Devil’s Advocate or anything,” Spectrum said nervously, “But… be honest here. If you found out right out of the blue that your kids were having sex with their kids, how would you react?” Pumpkin thought for a few moments, biting her lip with uncertainty, “...I don’t know, actually. I never really thought about it.” “Well, if you’re not gonna play it, I’ll play it,” Sunrise said in a mock haughty tone, “Our grandparents come from a time when not only was sex considered filth, but also, that kind of taboo was just outright social suicide. They were raised to think that way, raised to know what was right or wrong at the time. In their perspective, especially at their age, it’s no wonder they’re freaking out and have no clue what to think of their family. It goes against everything they ever knew, and, yeah, even today incest is still kinda frowned upon. So while I think it’s sad to turn on your own family, you can’t really call them evil or anything. It’s just how they went about life and knew things.” “I guess so,” Pumpkin sighed, “It hurt for a while, so it wasn’t exactly a pleasant thing to think about.” “What exactly did they say to you guys?” Spectrum asked, looking concerned. Pumpkin gathered herself for a moment, “They said we were a disgrace to the family, that we would create mutant inbred children, and that we were unnatural. But the worst part was when they turned on Pinkie. Now you know Pinkie can take a lot, right? But damn, she was destroyed and was actually crying her eyes out when they tore into her. Pinkie. She was always like family to us, we couldn’t believe it. They said it was her fault, that she brought her filthy, slutty ways into our family and that she was a bad influence on them, and on Pound and me. It became personal after that, and we just… We couldn’t take it. We left their house and just took the midnight train back to Ponyville. We never spoke to them after that.” Sunrise and Spectrum’s jaws were agape once again. “...Forget what I said, fuck those guys!” Spectrum shouted. “Like, holy shit! They made Pinkie cry? Pinkie?! Those bastards!” Pumpkin smiled a little from their reactions. As long as she could remember, Pinkie was one of the most adored women in Ponyville. Everybody loved her, and she loved everybody in return. From what she remembered Princess Twilight telling her, it was always considered the worst possible thing to make Pinkie cry, especially since it happened so rarely. It was hard to shake Pinkie, even at her worst, so someone had to be pretty damn cruel to do it. “Good riddance to them!” Spectrum scoffed, his previous arousal from Pumpkin’s story having been forgotten, “Assholes.” “No kidding, that was pretty mean,” Sunrise remarked. Pumpkin nodded, “Yeah, we almost considered breaking it all off, but we stuck it through. We just loved each other way too much.” “Hey, that’s great,” Sunrise gave a smile, “I can’t imagine how hard it was for you guys.” Pumpkin nodded, “We’re really the only family I know of that are like us. Most people don’t know about it. Even Pinkie agreed to keep it a secret. I’m glad because… well I really like it. Sounds weird to a lot of people, but I don’t think I could go without it anymore. As much as I love Pound, and I really do, I love sharing this with my parents and Pinkie.” “So there!” Sunrise slapped her palm against the table, “Besides, look at this way. You’re not hurting anyone out there, so what’s the problem?” “That’s true, but there does even have to be some kind of balance with that, but I digress,” Spectrum put in, “Point is, it works for you guys, right? Don’t worry, we’ll keep it secret. We won’t even tell our parents about it. They don’t need to know. Not unless Aunt Pinkie told ‘em herself, but whatever.” “As far as I know, she didn’t,” Pumpkin smiled, and hugged the two of them, “Thanks, you guys.” “You’re welcome,” Spectrum smiled, “Thanks for telling us.” “Totally! It takes guts to talk about that kinda thing,” Sunrise giggled, “So you guys just keep doing what you’re doing.” Pumpkin smiled and sat back, sipping her soda. A few minutes of silence passed before Sunrise broke it. “So… did you ever… ya know, I assume you did, but…” Sunrise said, moving her hand around. “What?” Pumpkin asked. “You know…” she bobbed her fist in front of her face, “...With Carrot?” “Could you just spit it out, please?” Pumpkin said, smiling. Sunrise growled in frustration, “Did you ever suck your dad off?!” “Um, yeah, I don’t know where I said I never did…. but yeah!” Pumpkin nodded, “I did. Why do you ask?” Sunrise blushed a bit and looked down, “No reason… I just… kinda have an oral fixation…” Spectrum sputtered his drink while Pumpkin laughed. “Oh, widdle Sunny’s curious about blowjobs, is she?” she teased. Sunrise pouted and turned away, “...Yes.” Once more Spectrum nearly did a spit-take and squirmed in his seat. All the while his cheeks matched the red in his hair. Pumpkin giggled, while Sunrise scowled and pouted. “Well, nothing wrong with that. Don’t we all have our sexy kinks?” Pumpkin shrugged. “So… how was it?” Sunrise asked bashfully. “Well, I had experience with Pound, so on a physical level, it wasn’t too hard. Heck, they weren’t even far in the size department, either. But that’s neither here nor there! Like I said, the first time it felt kinda weird. But after that, it felt good,” Pumpkin said, grinning, “Sometimes while I did it, he patted my hair and said sweet things to me, like how I’m Daddy’s Girl and stuff.” Sunrise blushed and covered her mouth with her hands, making some muffled sounds. “Holy shit, you guys really take the whole incest thing to the next level,” Spectrum said, crossing his legs again. “Hey, just because it’s incest doesn’t always mean that it’s child molestation or rape,” Pumpkin pouted, “But yes, yes we do.” “Sorry, I didn’t mean it like that,” Spectrum said bashfully, “A-Anyway, uh… so uh, how about the weather?” “Yeah! Weather! Nice weather!” Sunrise grinned sheepishly. “Do you two need to go somewhere more private?” Pumpkin asked with a smirk. “I’m going home to feed my… dog fish...bed… drawer…” Spectrum got up and hobbled to the door. Sunrise got up, side-stepping toward the door, “I need to go wash my...books…” Pumpkin smiled, “Have fun, you two. Don’t hurt yourselves.” The two got outside, breathing heavily and leaning against the door. “...So we’re going home separately?” Spectrum asked. Sunrise nodded, “As much as my hormones are telling me otherwise, yes. We should. J-Just for now, ‘kay? Still, um, it’s nice to know I wasn’t the only one turned by her story,” she gave an appreciative smile. Spectrum nodded, “Alright… I guess I shouldn’t kiss you goodbye, in case we change our minds?” “Eh, a little peck won’t hurt,” Sunrise pecked him on the lips, but then took a few steps back, “O-kay, you’re right. Let’s go to our homes, cool the heck off, and just… we’ll regroup later!” “Alright,” Spectrum said, hurrying off the other way, looking back to see Sunrise running off and groaning in frustration, “Mmm… when did she become so hot?”
Might Wanna Start Carrying Some Mace“Duuuuude! You know, just ask them all curious and stuff.” “Maybe,” Spectrum sighed, pulling Sunrise into his lap and snuggling her, “Love you, Sunny.” Grinning widely, Sunrise kissed his cheek and snuggled close, “I love you too, Speccy.”
I Have A Shotgun In The Back Closet“Ma? I’m starving.”
This Story I Have Got To HearThe two burst into Sugarcube Corner to see a cheerful Pumpkin Cake at the counter.
