Doctor Rainbow

"Don't fall prey to a Pegasus Device!"
The mysterious voice echoed in the Doctor's head. He could see a crowd of foals standing in front of him, looking depressed and defeated.

Suddenly, a rope came down from above and wrapped around a brown, tattered looking filly and pulled her up and up. He followed her, and noticed a huge, rusty cauldron connected to a large machine. The rope was pulling her closer and closer to it.

Then, he heard a sickening CRACK and saw the ropes pull tighter around the filly, making her ribs splinter and poke out of her chest.

As she got closer to the cauldron, the rope loosened and dropped her in.

"No!" yelled the Doctor, but no sound came out of his dry throat.

He stood there, horrified, watching her helplessly drown in the lake of red liquid. That was it! The cauldron wasn't rusty, it was splattered in blood!

As the last of the filly's frizzy mane disappeared beneath the surface of the blood, the Doctor woke up.
