Dinky Hooves is the student of Princess Luna. She discovers that the mare in the sun is Solar Flare, a mare who wanted eternal day on the land out of jealousy of her sister's beautiful night. She tells her mentor who sends her to ponyville with her baby sister Twilight to live with Derpy Hooves which is Dinky's and Twilight's mom and discover friendship. Dinky finds this annoying but goes.

When she gets there, she meets three mares called the CMC, Applebloom's cousin Babs seed and Rumble, Scootaloo's crush. She soon finds out that there the Elements of Harmony.
