'Long ago, in the beautiful land of Equestria. Two alicorns sisters looked after the land. The younger brought out the moon to begin the night while the older brought of the sun out to begin the day. Thus the two sisters made harmony throughout most of the land, but one day the older sister got jealous of her sister's beautiful starry night sky.

The younger sister tried to tell her sister that the day was beautiful but the older wouldn't take it and became a evil entity called Solar Flare. The younger having no choice used the elements of harmony and sealed her older sister in the sun forever. However it has be predicted that Solar Flare will come back and but a eternal day and summer on the land' The voice slowly changed into a Mare's.

''But so far love and harmony have been protected throughout Equestria'' A mare was sat reading a book about the story. Her periwinkle hoof on the page. Her blonde hair moved in the breeze. It's one white streak didn't mix with the blonde. Her golden eyes were fixed on the book as the sun blazed on her flank lighting up her 4 star cutie mark meaning magic.

''Elements of harmony? I heard of them before but where?''

She ran down the street only to run into three mares her age. One had a bluish-turquoise coat, purple hair, purple eyes, unicorns horn and a flower cutie mark. Another had pinkish rose coat, proper rose mane with a lighter streak. And lime green eyes. Her cutie mark was three red jewels. The last one was yellow pegasus mare with a purple mane. She had blue eyes and a white feather cutie mark.

''Hey Dinky Doo. Piña Colada having a party in the left court yard'' Said the blueish-turquoise coated unicorn mare.

''Um sorry Tootsie. I have a load of studying to catch up on and I gotta look after Twilight. Sorry'' She ran off leaving the mares confused.

''Dinky had always wanted to play when we're foals and she lived in ponyville with her mom but she slowly changed the moment Twilight was born..... I gotta looked at Bonbon and Lyra'' She ran off leaving the other two.

''Is it me or is it that everypony has foals to look after. I mean Dinky with Twilight and Tootsie with the twins who are actually her foals. Am I right Ruby?'' said the pegasus.

''Yeah. Come on. Let's find those foals!''

''You mean Minuette and Berry?''

''Yeah. Omg my daughters have a thing of running off''

''I guess. Being the only one who doesn't have foals. I have to babysit...''

Dinky ran up a few flights of stairs and pushed open a door banging into a small unicorn filly who was lavender. The filly had a dark bluish-purple mane with streaks of rose and violet. She also had violet eyes and a star cutie mark. The stars were arranged so a pink one was on top of a white one. 6 white stars surrounded the stars.

''Big sister. Knock before you enter''

''Sorry Twily. Where's that book on myths and legends?'' She ran over to the books in the library and with her magic searched them. She never noticed when the little filly had made her horn glow in a mass search spell. Twilight found the book and levitate it to Dinky.

''Here Dinks!''

''Thanks!'' She opened the book and scanned through it muttering. ''E..E...E...Elements. Elements of harmony, see 'mare in the sun',''

''Mare in the sun? Isn't that an old mare's tale?'' said Twilight confused.

''Ma...Mare...Ah Mare in the sun!'' She scanned the book. ''Mare in the sun is a mythical enity that was once Solar Flare, a mare who wanted to shun the land in eternal day and summer. Twilight do you know what this means?''

''Not really...''

''That Solar Flare might come back. In fact it's written here. 'It's stated that on the 1,000 year of the summer suns celebration and declare eternal day and summer'. See!?''

''Actually I don't....'' said the normally shy filly. ''What it about. Anyway don't we have a summer suns celebration to think about since it's in two days''

''That's the thing. In two days is the 1,000 year of the summer suns celebration. The day Solar Flare is stated to come back! We must inform Princess Luna!''

''Fine...'' She summoned a piece of paper and began writing.

Princess Luna.

I have come across a horrible truth.The mare in the sun is actually Solar Flare and in two days she will return to create eternal day!

''Now? I don't know big sister. I mean Princess Luna is planning for the summer suns celebration''

''Fine'' She sent it with her magic. ''Don't expect a good respond'' A respond came within second making Dinky smirk.

You know I trust you fully but you should stop reading dusty old books

Dinky gasped.

Now on a carriage being pulled by some pegasus guards. Twilight was sat next to her as she hung over the carriage edge.

You need to get away from those books so I'm sending you to watch over the progess of the summer suns celebration But I have a more important task Make some friends.

''Ugh...'' said Dinky as she went into even more despair.

''Oh come on Dinky. It's not that bad after all you get to see mama!'' This improved Dinky's mood.

''Okay I'm happy about that. I haven't seen mommy since I moved to canterlot and when she forced me to bring you since you helped me get my cutie mark as A NEWBORN! and earned your own...'' Her naturally light periwinkle coats color fainted slightly due to being dizzy and sick at the thought of her newborn sister earning her mark.

''Oh shut up. It's not my fault that you lost control of your magic causing me too''  said Twilight annoyed. They soon landed after that. ''And you got friends to make''

''I don't have time for friends. Need to do this task then find more information on Solar Flare'' As they got on the carriage. ''Thank you sirs''

Twilight had a face of annoyance on though.

''What's with that face'' said Dinky worriedly.

''That you totally ignore other ponies who want to be your friend''

''Well your one to talk. Your as shy as hell!''

''Oh shut up big sis!'' A mare with a orange-brown coat, pink striped hair and green eyes came over to them and smiled. ''Come on. Say 'hello'

''Um hi?'' said Dinky. The mare gasped and ran off in a different direction confusing Dinky. ''Yea, easy''

''So what we do know?'' asked Twilight.

''Well for starters, check the list'' Twilight checked the list and saw that food was first at Sweet Apple Acres.

Dinky signed as they walked up a long mud path.

''First up, cantering at Sweet Apple Acres'' said Twilight. As they walked into the farm, they saw a mare about Dinky's age run past them.

The mare had a bright yellow coat, red mane that was plaited into a pink bow with a cowgirl hat on. She also had bright orange eyes and a cutie mark of a apple and paintbrush. The apple was green and the paint on the brush was also green hinting that the apple was painted by the paintbrush.

She kicked a tree with her hind-hooves knocking a ton of apples into some baskets below. Dinky groaned.

''Let's get this over with'' She walked over to the mare. ''Hi, my name is Dinky Hooves and this is my little sister Twilight Sparkle Hooves. We have come to check on the cantering for the summer suns celebration''

''Hi Miss Dinky'' said the mare turning around and began shaking Dinky's hoof rapidly. ''I'm Apple Bloom. I'm in charge of Sweet Apple Acres as my two sisters Apple Smith and Applejack are too young and Little Mac is very much too young''

''Okay...'' said Twilight trying to feel her hoof after Apple Bloom stop the hoofshake, Twilight giggled slightly earning herself a glare from her sister.

''Do you wanna stay for grub''

''Huh...Only if it not long''

''Okay'' She grabbed a triangle and banged it yelling. ''Soups on, everypony!'' A whole group of earth ponies ran over making a table appear. The mare from earlier was there too. There was a small filly actually about Twilight's age and another mare about probably in her teens.

The filly had a orange coat and blonde mane in pigtails. The pigtails were hold in by two apple clips. She also had green eyes. The teenage mare had a green coat, blonde hair and orange eyes. On her back was a little colt with a red coat, orange mane and green eyes.

''Okay let me introduce you two to the family'' said Applebloom. ''Okay bumpkin apple, apple caramel'' More names came through till. ''Applejack'' she referred the the little filly then says. ''Apple Smith'' She pointed to the blonde teen mare and then to the mare from earlier. ''Babs Seed, my favorite cousin and lastly Little Mac'' She pointed to the baby on Apple Smith's back.

''Um it was nice to meet all of you. Come on Twilight'' She looked at Twilight who was playing with Applejack.

''No, big sis I wanna play''

''You can play with the fillies in Cantorlot when we go back''

''Fine... Sorry AJ''

''It's okay Twilight see you some other time''

''Yeah..''

They walked off making the Apple Family frown.

They walked down the street as Twilight looked up a the sky with Dinky groaning.

''So what's next?''

''Well...Weather. There's meant to be a pegasus pony called Scootaloo and her little sisters Rainbow Dash and fluttershy are meant to be doing that..''

''Well, she isn't doing a good job'' As she said that, a purple and orange streak crossed the sky. Now on top of a muddy Dinky was a orange pegasus mare with a messy purple mane. Her eyes opened to reveal purple.

''Ah sorry!''

''Can you get off me!''

''Yeah'' said the mare as she got off the Dinky. Two pegasus fillies ran other. One was a blank flanked cyan filly with rainbow mane and magenta eyes, the other was a taller then normal light yellow or pale filly. She had a pink mane, soft turquoise eyes and a 3 butterfly cutie mark.

''Big sis, um are you alright?'' said the yellow filly.

''I'm fine Fluttershy'' Fluttershy didn't look certain. ''It's true''

''Who's the mare'' Said the rainbow one.

''Oh Rainbow Dash. I don't know but I landed on her''

''Seriously...You can hardly fly despite being a grown pegasus''

''Hey. I can prefer a sonic fireboom to have you know''

''I'm not sure if I believe you but my name is Dinky Hooves'' said Dinky getting up. ''This is my little sister, Twilight Sparkle Hooves''

''Oh I'm Scootaloo Dash'' said Scootaloo. ''These are my little sisters, Fluttershy Dash and Rainbow Dash''

''I'm here to check on the weather for the summer suns celebration but it's doesn't look ready'' She pointed to the cloud full sky.

''Oh I can clear that up in five seconds flat''

''Prove it'' dared Dinky. Twilight, who was talking to the fillies looked up along with them to watch. It was true, Scootaloo cleared the sky in literally 5 seconds flat. Dinky's mouth dropped to the ground in shock.

''Ha your a laugh Dinky Hooves. Come on you two!'' said Scootaloo flow away leaving Dinky to think.

Twilight waved by to her new friends shyly as Rainbow Dash grinned while waving and Fluttershy was kindly yet shyly waving.

''Come on, Twilight''

''Okay...''

Later, walking down the path, Dinky and Twilight saw a grey pegasus, dark greyish-blue mane and purple eyes, the same shade as Scootaloo. He was helping ponies around, who needed it. Such as helping a old mare across the street or giving flowers to a sad pony.

He helped around and when he spotted a sad looking filly. The filly had a bright pink coat with a even lighter mane with a cutie mark of 3 balloons. Two blue and one yellow and her eyes were blue. Her mane however wasn't it's normal light color, no it was a dark pink that was deflected badly.

The stallion grinned and went over to her and throws balloons and cake towards her with made her mane pop into a fuzzy mess of light pink. She was playing now smiling and eating cake.

Dinky groaned, she had to ask if the decoration was sorted. She hadn't been able to check but this stallion was doing it.

''Um, my name is Dinky Doo Hooves and is the decoration finished?''

''Oh, it's finished and my name is Rumble!''

''Okay, I'm done here. Twilight....'' She turned to see her sister talking to the pink pony who was giggling with glee of meeting a new filly.

''Hi, my name is Pinkamena Diane Pie but most ponies call me Pinkie Pie!'' said the filly. Twilight giggled at her energeticness. ''Ah!''

''What?''

''Pumpkin and Pound are waiting for me to go back to the cafe!'' She bolted, particular flow, only stopping to say. ''Pop over to Sugar Cube Corner soon, Twi!''

''Okay, Pinkie!'' Twilight yelled back. Dinky walked over, signing and pulled on her sister's hoof to walk her away.

They walked down a mud path to where a unicorn along with a unicorn filly. The mare had a marshmellow white coat with a curly pink and purple mane and tail. Her eyes were a deep sea green and a cutie mark of a pink note with a purple heart attached.

The filly was the same white as her older sister, she was groaning and whining as her older sister tended to the birds who were singing. She was getting mud in her beautiful vivid purple mane. Her annoyed blue eyes were fixed on her sisters.

''How. Much. LONGER!?'' yelled the filly in annoyance.

''Wait a little longer, Rarity!''

''I can't, Sweetie Belle. I mean my hooves are in a wreck and my mane is scruffy. I can't go back to Ponyville looking like THIS!'' Sweetie Belle giggled but just smiled when Dinky and Twilight were spotted.

''I suppose you want to hear the birds?''

''Yes. If you may?'' asked Dinky.

''Okay. Guys! One, two, three!'' The birds began singing a beautiful song as Sweetie's cutie mark glowed slightly. After the birds finished, Dinky smiled and introduced herself to Sweetie Belle.

''My name is Dinky Doo Hooves. New in Ponyville. That's my little sister, Twilight Sparkle Hooves''

''Hi, my name is Sweetie Belle. I'm the towns musician and that's my little sister, Rarity Belle'' She glanced at Rarity who was whining to Twilight about the 'horrible' mud.

''Oh. You play music, makes sense. I mean your cutie mark is a clef after all'' After saying bye to them, Dinky walked to the small cottage just outside of Ponyville that was her mom and dad's home.

''Mom?''

''AH!'' yelled a mare who appeared from the kitchen. She was a grey pegasus with a blonde mane. Her eyes were crossed badly and golden like her daughter.

''Hi, mom.'' Derpy smiled at her daughter and hugged her.

''Hi mommy!''

''Oh, hi Twilight. I haven't seen you since you were in your diapers.'' The family did a family hug before Dinky asked.

''Mom, where's dad? And where's Sparkler?''

''Oh. Your father's out on a trip with his TRADIS. And your sisters in Cantorlot at the moment with her boyfriend''
