Being orphaned at only just a few weeks old, Sorrow Blast felt victim to the ever-so-loved "Born into it" trap. You see, he's half changeling and half pony, which would already causes some problems for the young stallion. But, after 16 years of hiding out as a student of Princess Twilight, he learned that not only that his father murdered his mother, he's also the prince of the changelings, since his father was the son of Queen Crystala, who was over-throne by him after the failed attempt to take over of Canterlot. And after nearly 20 years, his father devised a plan to help the changelings take over Equestria once and for all, and it requires Sorrow's power to succeed. Well, horseapples.

The main story takes place about sixteen years after the events of Twilight's Kingdom, and hopefully this will fallow the continuity of the show's lessons and stories.
