Chapter 1: First Awakening
The constant ringing in his head as the headache got worst. He felt himself slip away from consciousness and pass out. The last thing he heard was, "Jake!!!". He couldn't make out the voice since everyone sounded the same in a drowned out sort of way. And with that, he relaxed and blacked out.
He awoke the next day in a forest of some kind, he sat up feeling the pain and groggy sense of waking up. He looked around at all of the trees and sighed, no headquarters, did they think he was dead? He walked down a path of the forest that lead to a clearing and a few rustling of bushes behind him. He felt some sort of weight on his back and put his hand on the object, his M16 was still there, nice.
The rustling grew louder and louder and he finally had enough, he looked back and what he saw gave him a confused look. Wooden creatures in the form of a wolf were behind him. They growled at him but he remained calm as he thought about what he learned in health class as a kid, don't run away from a wild wolf. He thought it was oddly specific at the time and quietly and carefully, pulled out his three round burst M16 and aimed at one of the three. He pulled the trigger and it fell, he did the same with the others and turned to continue to a town in the distance.
As he walked out of the forest with his gun on his back once again, but what he heard startled him.
"What the hay are you?" Said someone in a southern accent.
He turned to greet the person, but no one was there. "Down here" said the voice. He looked down and he didn't know how to react as he saw a small horse that he thought was kinda cute, it had a mane as red as an apple and tanish fur and a satch on its back.
"Um, hello" I said in my normal accent. "What the fuck are you supposed to be?"
The small filly gasped at my words. "What?" Was all I could say.
"Language!" Demanded the small filly.
This reminded me of a time my daughter walked in on me and my friends at a party, we were watching baseball and we were yelling slang at each other in a playful way.
"What kind of animal are you?" She asked.
"May I ask the same question?" I said with a smug look on my face. The filly said in reply, something I think was her name "Apple Bloom, you?" She said in a firm, angry way.
"I'm Second Class Captain Jacob McCain of the USA military." Again, with a smug look.
Apple Bloom looked at me with a confused face "That's a long name..." I replied trying to comprehend how stupid I thought she really was "Just me Jake." What I didn't realize was that an older looking one had come over the hill and saw me holding a handgun and next to Apple Bloom.
"Apple Bloom, back away from that thang." She said and the filly listened to her. "I'm guessing you're this fillies mother?"
"Close to it, mah name's Applejack and you need to stay away from my sister."
I decided to have some fun, I grabbed the filly and held her with one arm, I held my handgun to her head. "Nah, I think I'll deal with her personally." I said with a smile.
"Applejack! Did you find them?" Said a voice that sounded genuine. Next thing I see is 5 others, different colours, and stood next to the already angry Applejack, only to see me with her sister at gun point.
-fuck me- I thought for some reason scared. I shook fear out of my head and put my gun away. I held the scared filly with both hands and said in a disappointed look "Sorry." I put her down and she ran over to her sister and hugged her. I noticed something strange about them and seemed like there was one missing. I counted and saw that the cyan looking one was gone. I heard a noise as if something was falling from the sky. I look up and then I felt something hit me and I fell back in a daze, I eventually passed out.
I woke up in what seemed like a library. I grunted when my head pound and tried to lift my hand to my head to ease the pain a little, but found I was constricted in a purple ring.
"Magic restraints." Someone said in a firm tone. I looked up and saw a lavender looking pony with a horn on its head.
I took the calm approach and asked calmly, "May I ask for a name?" She hesitated, but then smiled and said "Twilight Sparkle, yours?" Something told me she was a writer, I looked over and saw a quill and paper on a table reading 'Dear Princess Celestia'. I looked up and said, "I'm second cla- I mean Jake" I said knowing they wouldn't understand my name.
"Would you mind letting me go?" She shook her head and went back to her expressionless face, "I would if you hadn't tried to kill my friends sister!" She said slamming her hoof on the floor.
There was a knock at the door and a bigger, more majestic looking pony with a horn and wings was allowed in the building. "Twilight, you said you needed my assistance?"
She nodded her head and lead her to me. I saw she had what looked like two guards with her and a male pony with a horn and blue mane next to them.
"This is what you needed me for?" She asked elegantly. "Yes, I found it trying to kill my friends sister outside Everfree forest, do you know what it could be?" She looked at me and smiled. "Yes, this is a human." She said.
I tried being nice again, "Hello, my name is-" I was cut off when she answered for me. "Second Class Captain Jacob McCain of the USA military?" I looked at her shocked and muttered "Yes."
"I'm going to ask you to come with me." The majestic pony lowered its glowing horn and touched my head I fell asleep, and I thought -not again-.

Sorry this is a short chapter, it's my first fic. I would like to propose a small competition. I wish viewers would comment what the would like to see in the next chapter, starting after third chapter. I will ask a question like, "Who would be a good surprise to see?" or "What kind of weapons would be nice for Jake to have?" See you guys next time!!!

Chapter 2: Registration and New Friends
He awoke in a place he had never seen before. It was beautiful, marvellous, it was amazing. Right before him was a view of the town he was in. It was a beautiful sight indeed, but he felt himself get pushed toward a castle on the end of a bridge. He was stood up as if by force and pushed through the doors. He was told to walk to the end near the two majestic ponies that awaited him. One on which had colors of day and one of night.
"This human... won't be like last time will it?" Asked the night coloured pony. "No Luna, this one doesn't have his attitude." The day coloured pony replied.
"If I may ask, why have you called me here?" I pondered my question and waited for an answer. Outside I was acting nice, but inside I was wishing this place would be waisted.
"I have called you here for registration my good friend, my name is Princess Celestia." Celestia said with nod. "And this is my sister of the night, Princess Luna." I watched as she nodded also and I looked down and sighed.
"Registration for what?" I asked, to be honest, I was thinking about that filly, hoping I didn't scar her for life.
"Registration for Ponyville of course." She said with a smile. "I was thinking since you are here, you might as well have somewhere to stay and make friends along the way."
I stood there silent for a minute, thinking if I wanted this or not. I finally said. "Alright, I would like to ask a question."
"What would that be?" Said Luna, obviously still unable to trust me.
"How did I get here?" The two looked at each other and Celestia sighed. "I teleported you here because of your ability, as you can tell I'm eager to have you a resident of Ponyville." With that the two lowered there glowing horns on my shoulders, I felt... uncomfortable. I felt a surge go through my body and the two lifted there heads. I looked at my hands and saw a watch that had a turn pad on it. I wondered what the device did and as I was about to ask, I felt a swift cold breeze and ended up on the ground in an open area I wasn't familiar with.
"I know what if we go swimming!" Said an enthusiastic voice of a child and the sound of what sounded like a fly buzzing its wings. I got up and rolled behind cover. I felt the weight and looked back at myself, my equipment was back. I smiled and looked to where the sound came from. A small house in a tree with a stairs leading up to it. I thought it was very well done and gave props to its creator. That's when I saw who was inside walk out. Standing there, at the top of the stairs, were three fillies consisting of Apple Bloom, and two unfamiliar ones. An orange one with a purple mane and small wings to fit its body size, and a white one, with a pink mane and a small horn on its head to fit its body. I gulped but watched as the three ran down the steps, laughing.
I was nervous as they approached my position. I didn't want any trouble, but at least I knew she wasn't scared from earlier and was still playing with her friends. I'm made a move to escape the sight of the three but, of course, I stepped on a twig and I heard gasps.
I stood up from behind cover and blushed with nervousness and rubbed the back of my neck. Apple Bloom looked up at me with an angry expression. "You?!" She yelled and put my hands saying to back off "Woah, woah, calm down!" I said mentally giving myself a facepalm and called her answer. "You tried to kill me!" Her friends looked at her with a questioned look and she told them what happened, which gave her friends the same expression she had. "Listen, I was leaving anyway so go on, play or whatever." I shrugged and started to walk away. I heard a sigh of annoyance and smiled to my self.
"Hey look, it's the-" Said a voice. "Why isn't it the-." Said another. "Blank flanks!" Said both of the voices. I turned around to see two smug fillies, one pink, one grey. Both seemed to have marks on there backsides. One had a silver spoon and one had a diamond tiara.
"Leave us alone Diamond Tiara." Said the orange filly. "Shut up orphan, go cry in the corner." Said Diamond. -Woah that was harsh- I thought as I watched out of sight. The orange filly stepped down. "Hey, take that back!" Squealed the white one.
"Oh please, like you probably say that often to your sister, I hear you two argue all the time. I have sisters that love me instead of shake me off." Said the silver looking one. The white filly looked as if she might breakdown in tears. -Geez- I thought as I looked at the two sobbing fillies.
"Oh come on Silver Spoon, why do you to bully us so much?" Said Apple Bloom in her friends defence.
"Oh, so you talk now, who taught you to fight back? Your parents, oh wait, they're dead!" Said the two now laughing fillies.
I saw how Apple Bloom reacted. She looked as if she was shoot in the heart. She actually started bawling.
That was it, I couldn't stand the scene anymore. "Hey!" I called out to the bullies. All five of them looked up. It made me angrier seeing the crying faces of the three once happy fillies.
"Yes, can I help you?" Diamond replied.
"Leave them alone, what did they ever do to you?" I said.
"Does it matter?" Silver said with an attitude. "You're probably the most ugliest animal I've ever seen. I mean look at his clothes!" They looked at my outfit and I did too. My uniform was filthy, I hadn't realized. There words don't hurt me, I've heard it all before.
"Why are you standing up for them, they don't even have their cutie marks yet!" She said with a snicker. I looked at Apple Bloom with a questioned look. Through the sobs said. "Th-th-they're marks that show our t-t-talents..." She said as I saw the two bullies marks and made an 'oh' expression.
I glared at the snickering fillies and they stopped and started walking backwards. "If you mess with them, you mess with me! And if you mess with me, you get hurt!" I yelled. All five looked at me surprised. "And when you get hurt, it doesn't feel very good. Now stay away from them, got it!?" I yelled. They nodded and ran away.
I looked back and felt a force on my legs. The three fillies were attached to me sobbing and holding on to my legs. I keeled down and patted their heads. I looked up at the three and said. "You okay?" They nodded and thanked me.
I smiled and stood up and turned to walk away, but they grasped my legs again. I decided to stay with them for as long as they needed. So I did, and they hugged me in the process.

Chapter 3: Friends or More
He awakes in a place surrounded by darkness. He felt something lying next to him, he looked down and smiled. The orange pegasus was lying next to me, fast asleep. I got up without disturbing the three fillies from their sleep and went outside. As soon as I stepped outside, I was met with a cool night breeze. I looked back at the fillies, then closed the door. He takes out a cigarette, puts up to his mouth, and lights it.
"Ya know, smokin' ain't good for you."
I jumped at this and turned around. But my sly fear was replaced with a smile when I saw Apple Bloom in the doorway. -I finally remember their names- I thought to myself as I sighed and threw the cigarette in a Bush, which I wished wouldn't catch fire.
"Bloom, what are you doing up?" I asked picking her up and seating her on the railing.
"Well, I woke up and saw y'all leavin, so I got nervous, but ya didn't leave." She said not making eye-contact.
I realized that when we met, she didn't seem that surprised to see a human in her world, neither did her friends. So I made a choice to ask. "Apple Bloom?" The fillies head poked up and looked at me. "Why weren't you taken back by the fact the I'm a human? Your friends weren't neither." She bit her bottom lip and looked down. "Should I tell you?" I nodded.
She hesitated, sighed, and proceeded. "Well, ah was really close friends with this human, do you know him? His name was Parker." I searched around my head for the name, I looked down at the filly and shook my head no. "He was here to fight some sort of 'terminator' called a T-X, and he won. Ah haven't seen him since he beat it." The filly said with a frown. I smiled and hugged her, brushing her mane. I could feel her smile, and eventually, fell asleep in my hands. I went into the clubhouse and laid her down for sleep. I did the same, lying down next to Scootaloo, I fell asleep.
The next morning, I was awoken. "Rise and shine, Jake!" I tried to wake up and when I did, I found three smiling fillies in front of me. It made me feel warm inside, seeing their smiling faces. I looked over and saw my equipment.
"About time you woke up!" Squealed Sweetie Belle.
"Yeah, do you sleep late on your world?" Asked Scootaloo.
Before I could answer, a familiar voice came calling.
"Apple Bloom, where in Celestia did you go?" And then, foot- er, I mean hoofsteps coming up the clubhouse. I grabbed my gun only to be shook off by Apple Bloom. "No, it's mah sis!" The fillies looked at each other and then at me. I could tell they didn't know what to do at this point, so Apple Bloom went out and talked to her sis, keeping the door closed. All I could hear are muffled voices, both southern, taking to each other. I put the gun down behind a patio that was in the clubhouse. I faced the door where Apple Bloom had run out of, and waited.
Apple Bloom came back in with a more relieved face. "Mah family, has an awful lot of work to do, so I'm here for the next few days." Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo both smiled and I couldn't help but smile too.
-Parker... Parker... why is he familiar- A thought came to me. I looked down at the fillies talking among themselves about which 'cutie mark' they would get today. I sat down in a corner thinking about the name, when Apple Bloom came over to me and outstretched her hoof as to say "join us". So I did.
I gulped at the high jump below. I jumped out of helicopters before, but then I had a parachute. Now, I'm scared as hell! The three jumped off with their gear on as soon as I strapped mine on. I closed my eyes and jumped down. I felt the rush and the pull of gravity as I made my way down. I eventually landed and made a big splash as I hit the water. A lake with a huge diving board lie before him. What scared him most, was a scream, Apple Bloom's scream. I looked up and saw the filly racing toward the ground, not the water, the ground. I heard several gasps of ponies as I climbed out of the water and tried to line myself up with her.
I couldn't.
Apple Bloom was almost to the bottom when everything seemed to go in slow motion. I ran over and dove just to see a scared Apple Bloom in my arms. I smiled as she hugged me, I heard small cheers from passing by ponies who had witnessed my doings. What I saw on Apple Bloom's face wasn't a scared look, it wasn't a happy one, no she was... blushing.
I questioned her but all she did was give me a slight thanks. The other two came running over, soaking wet, thank God they hit the pool. "What happened?! Are you ok!?" They asked in unison. She nodded and blushed saying "Because of this one's amazing catch." I smiled, -Thank you training- I thought as I remembered the grenade catching training of which I almost died in.
We got back to the clubhouse, the three were upset that they didn't get their cutie marks in high jumping, but frankly I was happy they didn't get them. If they did, then I might have to save their flanks from death.
I also saw Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle talking behind my back and Apple Bloom blushing. I asked what they were talking about, but Scootaloo answered, "Nothing, don't worry." With a giggle. I raised one brow but ignored it, as I took my vest off along with my tank-top and started stretching my arms out after hitting the ground. I felt someone watching me and turned around only to see at the top of the stairs, Apple Bloom, she was beat red.

Chapter 4: The First Murder and Surprise
He quickly put on his tank top and his combat uniform. -I should have done that somewhere else- was my thought as Apple Bloom backed up into the tree house. I let out a sigh and blushed with embarrassment. I couldn't imagine what she was thinking right now, so I'm just gonna hope it blows over.
"Hey! You!" Said an intense voice from above me. As soon as I looked up, I was knocked on my back and gave a little grunt as I landed. I rubbed my head and looked ahead of me to see a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane. She looked as if she was ready to take charge at me, and she did. I closed my eyes, bracing for impact, but instead I heard someone yell "STOP!!!" With that, the rainbow pegasus stopped in her tracks, just inches away from me. I turned to the source of the voice and saw Scootaloo, flapping her wings intently.
"Don't you know that this guy tried to kill your friend?"
She replied with a nod as the other two rushed out.
"What's all the ruckus?" Said Apple Bloom as she examined the scene.
I looked at the pegasus and she closed her eyes. "If Scootaloo can trust you, I guess I can too. My name is Rainbow Dash, the best flier in all of Eeuestria!" She said looking smug.
I tried to think of a response to a pegasus who tried to kill me. "I'm Jake." I held out my hand and she shook it, looking away angry.
I looked up at Scootaloo and down at her. "You know Scootaloo?" I asked.
"She's my adopted sister." She said with a glance of "are you dumb?"
I sighed looking and heard a noise in the apple orchard behind me I turned around but saw nothing. I ignored it when I saw Applejack trotting over the hill with a look of sadness on her face. She looked up at me and was seething with rage. She charged at me and rammed me to the ground with her on top of me.
"Why did you do it?!" She asked with a murderous look in her eye.
"Do what?" I tried putting on a brave face, but really I was scared.
"You killed Big Macintosh!!!" She yelled and I heard Apple Bloom gasp.
"Who is that?"
"Don't play dumb, I saw what you did to him!" She replied hitting me across the face. To be honest, it hardly hurt. I don't know if it's my resilience or her weak strength.
"What did I do to him?" I replied not knowing a thing about what was going on.
"You skinned him! Nopony is evil enough to do that! I found him hanging in a tree in the orchard!" She literally had fire in her eyes.
I looked at Apple Bloom. "Forgive me for doing this." She gave a confused look. I grabbed AJ by the throat and threw her over to where the sound was coming from before.
"Listen, I didn't kill anybo- I mean anypony! I have idea what your talking about. The whole time I've been in this world, I was here with your sister and her friends!" She gave a surprised look.
"Applejack, if it hadn' been for Jake, I would be dead right now!" Said the filly to her sister. AJ looked at the two other fillies and they nodded their heads.
"Alright, I guess I won't buck you to next Thursday today." She said storming off with Rainbow.
I looked up at Apple Bloom. "Thanks, you saved me there."
She blushed and swayed her hoof. "It was nothin'", but then she turned sad.
"What's wrong?" I asked climbing up the stairs.
She looked at me with her big golden eyes. "My brother is dead..."
I kneel next to her and pat her head as her friends comfort her.
"I know what it's like to lose someone close to you, I'm sorry you have to feel that pain so young." She looked up at me hugged me knee. That was when I decided to find whoever killed her brother, and beat them to a bloody pulp, but it was like AJ said, who is evil enough to skin somepony?
I looked at the sun lowering down and pat her head. "Why don't you get some rest." She shook her head and held me tighter.
"I want you here, with us." She said in a soft voice that made me feel bad for her.
"I'll stay here the night with you." I said with a smile as Sweetie Belle and Scootalo made their way home. I was confused as the filly smiled through tears. I didn't know how to keep myself from exploding from her cuteness. I picked her up and took off my combat jacket, which I gave her as a blanket when I set her down on the floor of the clubhouse. She fell asleep instantly and so did I, but I heard a faint growling coming from outside, but ignored it as I fell asleep.
I awoke in the clubhouse and looked over to my combat jacket and saw Apple Bloom was gone. Judging by how young she was, I say she was at school. I got up and put my jacket on. It felt warm as I walked outside to the mid day sun and made my way down the stairs. My attention focused to my mysterious watch that I received as registration. I decided to go to the local library for help on what it was, but on my way past a bunch of gasps and whispers, I saw what looked like a cake shop and I swear I could here screaming coming from inside.
I stepped inside and went to the front desk. "Hello? Anypony here?" I asked as I felt a hard object hit the back of my head. Before I passed out, I heard words, words that sounded like "Your number is up..." and faint snickering.

Chapter 5: Bloody Cupcakes
He awoke in a dark room and had a strange sense that he wasn't alone. He tried lifting his arm only to find it was constricted, in fact, all but his neck was constricted.
"Hello?" He asked in to the dark room. He heard the sound of a knife sharpening and a shiver was sent through his body. He saw as an eerie red light lit the room. The sight made him feel sick. Guts used as streamers, stomachs and hearts were hanging in front of him, as if the make him weary.
"I always wanted to know what humans taste like." She said between the sound of the sharpener. "La la la la la la la..."
His heart raced at a pace it had never been at before, even in war. He looked at the 'cutie marks' hung or pinned on the wall. The sharpening stopped and a pink pony emerged from the dark side. Her left eye was twitching and her mane was straight, unlike he had saw her on the outside of Everfree.
"What should I start with... so many parts!" She was insane.
"LET ME GO!!!" He said pulling at his restraints as the pony giggled and trotted, almost like limping. "HELP, THIS PONY IS- mmph." She shooved a cupcake in his mouth and he spit it out and vomited afterwards. I felt sick to my stomach as I saw what was in the cupcake, blood, and lots of it.
"Hush now, we don't want anypony ruining our... party..." She twitched.
"This isn't a party, it's a slaughter house!" I shouted at her, but she only smiled and put her blade on my chest. It was so sharp he could feel it pierce him on a slight touch. Oh someone help.
She dug it down deeper and the pain was so sharp he couldn't help but scream, but he was able to hear a knock at the door, he sighed with relief.
"Hello, Pinkie Pie, are you there?" Said a firm, male voice. Her mane puffed up and she had an overjoyed voice.
"I'll be a minute." She looked at me Intensely. "I'll be back sleepy head." I have a slight sickening expression and felt my consciousness slipping away. Pinkie took a syringe and injected it into his knee, he felt a sudden rush of energy and was fully awake, but vomited again.
"Is everything alright down there?" Said the visitor. "And why is it dark in here?"
"I must've forgotten about the lights." She said as she opened the door slightly, enough to poke her head out. "Oh, hi Shining Armour."
I took this chance to make an escape. Despite the shot making my heart race, I yelled out. "HELP, SHE IS TRYING TO KILL ME!!" Shining looked at her intensely and pulled her out and "hoof"cuffed her.
"You're under arrest for attempted murder!" He said holding Pinkie down and opening the door so he can let the stallion out, but it wasn't a stallion, it was the human from before. He unstraped him and he was let down. I looked at him and the first thing I thought was -He reminds me of someone-.
He was lead outside and the first thing he saw was Pinkie being held by two guards with her friends in shock. He saw the CMC run up to him and started asking him questions about his safety and if he was ok.
"I'm fine girls, no need to worry." I said trying to calm them.
"No need to worry, Ah have every need to worry!" Said Apple Bloom with a sly blush. Again, I ignored it.
"No, I'm fine now, so you can relax. That's what I meant." After that they hugged me making it clear that they were worried after they heard he was almost killed violently.
But still, he couldn't help thinking they were being stalked. He looked around and he walked around trying to find the source, but he shook it off when he saw nothing.
"Everything a'right Jakey?" Said Apple Bloom and she blushed.
I blushed when she said that. "J- Jakey?!" I shivered when she nodded. Honestly not knowing what she was blushing for.
He walked the CMC back to their homes and he when he turned after dropping off Apple Bloom, he heard someone say something one him. "Hey, ah know you ain't got a place to get some shut eye, and my sis has taken a liking to you." He turned around and saw AJ. She made a peace offering for saving her sister and I accepted, after all she offered me a place to stay instead of the tree house. "But, the only place you can sleep is on the couch if that's ok." I explained to her the nights I spent on a wooden floor and she chuckled as she let me in.
She gave me a blanket to have with me on the couch. "Make yourself comfortable." She said as I lie down and she trotted upstairs to her room. I lie there in the dark and had two things on my mind. My watch and what Apple Bloom called me, and I blushed. -I'm blushing, why am I blushing?- I thought that as I slipped off to sleep after a weird day.

Chapter 9: Not Another...
He lie on a rooftop awaiting for the slightest hint of the predator to come into view. The mane six were down below all scattered around so that I could see which one it would go after. The CMC were there with me on the roof, Applejack and Rarity thought they would be out of harm up there. They all waited for about 30 minutes before looking at me and shook their heads, that's when I saw it. An outline of the cloaked creature was creeping up behind Pinkie Pie. I took action and fired at it, causing the mane six to run to cover. My bullets did nothing to it as they bounced off its armour. I was forced to duck when it fired two plasma shots at me. The CMC ran to their sisters as I jumped down with my reloaded gun and fired. It retreated before I could finish my clip.
"Dammit, how did I hit it last time?" I asked nopony, but Apple Bloom answered.
"You hit its leg." She said looking at me. I thought for a minute and thought that it must have had armour or else I would be able to hit it. I took a step back and looked in the direction of which it retreated and ran that way, the others close behind me.
I turned the corner only to find the predator, without its cloak, standing there, staring at me. I unloaded my clip into its legs, but it jumped and I missed, that was my last clip. I put the gun on my back and took out my shotgun, but the predator fired a plasma shot and I barely dodged it. I heard a gasp as I got to my feet, only to meet the predator with its blades out walking towards me. I lifted my shotgun to react, but it backhanded me with its blades and I was sent flying.
I got back up and felt blood flowing from the cut the blades gave me. I look over to the mane six only to find them in a circle, looking at something. That's when I felt my shoulder got shot by the predator and I fell to my knees in pain, grasping the spot where I was shot. I looked up only to see the predator flee and I got to my feet and sighed. I walked over to the huddle and what I saw left me there, staring at the scene. Lying on the ground was Applejack with her sister crying over her. She was surrounded in a puddle of blood and had a huge hole in her chest.
"Oh my fucking god..." I said in shock. Apple Bloom looked up at me with sad eyes and looked back. Those eyes, they made me angry, angry that this filly was upset. I clenched my fist, which had a handgun in it, and I broke the gun. They all looked up at me except, sadly, for Applejack. I was so mad that I was shaking as I stared at the pony lying in the ground, and eventually threw my gun.
//Three days later\
I stood next to a still sobbing Apple Bloom as she placed flowers on the grave of her sister. She trotted slowly over to her brothers and eventually to one that read 'Granny Smith', brushed the dirt off it and looked up at me. She hadn't said a word to me at all since that incident with her sister and since then, I've been her guardian. She trotted up to me and jumped into my arms and held me tight and I did the same to her. After a few minutes, I started walking over to the farm house. On my way there, I realized something, I was the only person she had left, except for her friends. I couldn't let her down at all and I will go at all costs to protect her.
We reached the farm house and I took her upstairs to her bedroom and tucked her in. I looked at her and smiled.
"Come on Bloom, you can talk to me, you know that." She just looked away. I knew the only way to get her to talk and I did so. I leaned down and kissed her. After a few minutes, I separated from her and she gave a small smile. I pointed at her.
"There she is!" I said and her smile widened and eventually into a laugh as I started to tickle her. It was the first time she smiled in the past few days, and I couldn't help holding back a smile. She sat up in bed and as I got up, she put her hoof on my thigh and she signalled for me to come close.
"Do me a favour, please don't die, for me." She whispered in my ear and I looked at her. She had a serious/sad face and I smiled at her, happy she finally talked.
"You don't have to worry about a thing." I said as I heard the rain slowly start bouncing off the roof.
//Twilight\
"Come on!" I said annoyed that no books had information on anything. I looked back at my friends who were all searching through books. I dropped my head until I heard somepony say something.
"Hey, I think I found something!" It was my number 1 assistant, Spike. He slid down a ladder, holding a book that was titled 'Dangerous Predators of Everfree'. He brought it me and showed me the page which the mysterious creature was on. It was labelled 'Predator' and Pinkie didn't like this.
"That's a boring name!" Everypony shushed her. "Sorry." She said before looking back at the book.
"The original Predator is a dangerous being that hunts ponies and other animals and kills them with its wrist blades and/or shoulder plasma cannon. It collects skulls and skins as treasures and only one has been sighted in all of Equestria. It's location is somewhere in the Everfree forest. Possible genders: unknown. Danger level: highly dangerous. Encounter rate: 3 ponies reported sightings." I read the book aloud.
Everypony looked at each other and then at me. I was confused on what the book had said. If it's location is in Everfree forest, then that's where we have to go.

Chapter 10: A Second Problem
//Jake\
I awoke to a faint voice calling for help. I sat up and realized that it was Apple Bloom's voice and raced to get my shotgun. When I picked up my shotgun I heard a stallion yell at me.
"Drop the gun!" He shouted and I turned around to see a grey stallion with a black mane. He was holding Apple Bloom at gun point. I slowly dropped the gun and put my hands up.
"Who are you?" I asked the stranger and he replied to me.
"My name is none of your business." He said with a bark. "On your knees!" He ordered and I did so.
"What do you want?" I asked filling with rage.
He stared at me and asked me a question I did not quite understand. "Aren't you friends of the Elements of Harmony?" He asked with a bark.
Apple Bloom looked at me with fear in her eyes. I felt like assaulting the stallion in front of me, but every move I make he makes a move for the trigger. I answered his question, "Who?".
The first thing he did was growl. "You know who!" He said, pushing the gun to Apple Bloom's head.
"You mean the six ponies I was with earlier?" I questioned.
"Give me names."
"Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Applejack who is now deceased, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Twilight." I answered.
He nodded and threw Apple Bloom over to me, which she proceeded to embrace me. The stallion walked out before I could ask him why he wanted them. -Elements of Harmony?- I looked down at Apple Bloom, who I could tell was happy that it was over.
//Shining Armour\
He sat up in the hospital bed and thought about the news he was given just this morning. One of Twilight's friends has been killed. He thought it over in his head and looked over at the clock, 10:24. He sighed and looked at the ceiling and then looked out the window at the ponies going on with their normal lives. He understood that none of us would be the same after this.
He looked up as he heard someone walk into the room, it was Twilight. She was holding a book and was accompanied by Princess Celestia.
"Shining Armour! I have a new lead!" She exclaimed holding the book to my face and I pushed it away slightly.
I read the part of the book that had a picture of the creature that might have been the same creature that caused havoc. I smiled as I finished reading.
"So, this thing is stationed in Everfree huh?" I asked with a ponder. "That might as well be our next place to check. Gather enough guards to take with y-".
"No." She said and I got a surprised look. "I'm going in with my friends and we will bring this thing to justice.
"You're not going in unprotected. Everfree alone is dangerous!" I exclaimed. Princess Celestia looked at me and sighed.
"Twilight desperately wants to stop this thing with her friends only. So if she wants to do so, I won't stop her. And I assume you won't too?" She said with a serious look. I sighed and looked at Twilight.
"Fine, but be careful."
//Pinkie Pie\
"YYYYAAAYYYY!!!"
//Jake\
He walked with Apple Bloom on his shoulder to the clubhouse, where apparently there is an 'announcement'. When we arrived I was greeted by two serious fillies talking to each other. Apple Bloom hopped off my shoulder and trotted over to them. I heard them ask her if she was ok, and I smiled when she said yes to each.
I sat down in the corner of the clubhouse as the CMC put on their satches and Sweetie Belle took the stand with Scootaloo to her left and Apple Bloom to her right. She cleared her throat and looked up.
"Audience, members, and other group words that I can't read. It is time of doubt in Ponyville." I looked around me and noticed it was just me and them. "That is why we must unite and battle this monster with out sisters. That is why we ask you, Jake, to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders."
I facepalmed and sighed at the question, were they serious? I just decided to go with it and I said yes. I saw Sweetie Belle squeal quietly but then cleared her throat again.
"Do you promise to keep the location of the clubhouse and it interior a secret?" I rolled my eyes and nodded. "Do you promise to never reveal you are a Cutie Mark Crusader member?" I nodded. "Ok, we welcome you as our... apprehendince?" A sudden jolt by Scootaloo made her run to the paper and write something down and she blushed. "Oh, I mean apprentice." Finished Sweetie Belle as Scoots threw me a satch that was about my size. I hesitantly put it on and received an round of applause from the three.
I waited until they weren't looking to throw it out, I'm not going around town wearing that. As they turned to me and they asked me a grown up question. "How are we going to deal with this predator?"
They probably thought I was their only hope on survival. I thought about it and an idea came to my head. I smirked and told them to gather around.
//Twilight\
I was about to finish sorting books on the shelves of the library until I heard a knock on the door. "Spike, could you get that please?" I asked my assistant.
"On it!" He said and ran to the door and was greeted by a grey stallion with a black mane. I didn't pay attention to what they were saying as I started writing the rest of my letter to Princess Celestia, except this one wasn't on a lesson, it was on a plan. I was stopped when I felt somepony tug my tail. I turned to see Spike.
"What is it? What did he want?" I asked continuing the letter.
"He said he wanted to know the location of the Elements of Harmony. I told him that they were in the Everfree forest." He replied.
"Oh no." I said as I turned pale. "Did he say why?"
"No, he just left."
"Does he have a name?"
"He didn't give me it when I asked." He said and I sighed.
"Spike tell the others to meet me here, we might have a problem on our hooves." He saluted and ran out the door.

Chapter 11: Taking Personal Property
//Jake\
He walks to Twilights house with Bloom on his right shoulder and Sweetie on his left one. Scootaloo decided to ride her scooter over because she is 'too cool for that'. I doubt this filly would think she actually is the bravest pony in Equestria. If I could vote, I'd say Rainbow Dash. I didn't pay much attention to it and continued my (our) walk. I was still worried about Apple Bloom not being fully recovered. She has mentioned that Applejack was the world to her. I continued thinking about this until I heard Sweetie shout.
"There it is!" She yelled and I winced when the words hit my eardrums. "Hehe... sorry." She said with a small blush on her face. I patted her head while being careful not to throw her off by accident.
I examined the house that Twilight lived in as the three rushed to the house, leaving me in the dust.
"Hey wait up!" I called out and ran after them. I heard a light laughter coming from my left and I turned to see the two brats from when I first met the CMC. I rolled my eyes and kept running to the treehouse which was a library.
I reached the library and stood next to the three fillies and examined the house as Scootaloo knocked on the door.
"Huh, a tree that is a library with a unicorn and a baby dragon living in it, usual day for me." I said remembering where I was and what was living in this world.
We waited about half a minute and Twilight answered the door. She immediately looked up at me and signalled us inside. The CMC hopped inside and I walked inside. There was something about this whole pony thing I wasn't getting, are they being cute on purpose? I shrugged and watched a pacing Twilight. She stopped and faced me, took a deep breath, and said what her plan was.
"Me and my friends are going to fight this 'predator'." She said with a confident look. My eyes widened and I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. I was trying to gather what she had said in my head. I looked at her and shook my head.
"Its too dangerous, you saw what that thing was capable of right? You saw it... you know..." I said and she looked down and nodded.
"But we will be ready, we are going to prepare for this. I know where it's stationed." She said with a stare.
"I don't see why you need my approval on this." I said and looked over at the three fillies whispering to each other.
"Because I need you to come with. You were close to killing it and you're the one with weapons." She said looking away at the book she had on a desk. "We need a protector." She said looking at me.
I thought about what she said. She sounded promising and I trusted her. I nodded and looked at the fillies. "Who will look after them?" I asked and she she looked around.
"I suppose I could have Spike watch them."
"Who is Spike?"
"A dragon."
"Typical." I said looking at the three again who were giggling. I looked at Apple Bloom and she looked up at me and smiled, I did the same. "Alright, I will go, but only because I know there being watched." I said looking at Twilight again. She beamed with happiness that their journey can begin.
//Two days later as Apple Bloom\
I looked at Spike with the best puppy dog eyes look I could give and Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo did the same.
"Ugh, fine." He said giving up and me and my friends smiled. "But only because I'm a nice dragon." He said praising himself.
He took us out the door and across the street to the candy shop which was ran by BonBon, a friend of my sister. I choked up a little but followed into the shop and Scoots and Sweetie Belle were already looking around for a piece of candy to take back. I took my time, me being the responsible filly I was, and picked an apple candy. We got our candy and Spike put three bits on the counter.
We had eaten our candy and Sweetie Belle got all hyped up. She just had to get the 'Sweet 'n Juicy' candy that made her go wild. I rolled my eyes and Sweetie Belle hopped in front of me and I swear her eyes were changing color.
"HiAppleBloom, haveyoueverwonderedwhythingsarenamedwhattheyareorwhywehavenames?" She said so fast that I couldn't understand so I just nodded. "Ohijustloveaskingquestionsaboutthingsthatareaboutotherthingsthatgivememorequestionsto-" then she just passed out on the floor. I sighed and brought her a blanket and covered her with it. I looked over at Scootaloo who was looking out a window.
"Howdie Scoots, what's up?" I said walking over to her.
She sighed and asked me a question. "Aren't you worried about what might happen to Jake?" She said not moving an inch.
I looked down. "Of course ah worry." I said looking up. "But he promised he wouldn't die for me."
"Yeah but, there is one thing." She said looking nervous.
I looked at her. "Scoots, what did you do?!" I said with some fear.
I watched as Scootaloo walked over to a box and opened it. Inside it was Jake's army jacket and on top, was his shotgun and grenade launcher, or at least that's what he called it. I looked up at Scootaloo and my face was boiling. I heard her gulp and she started backing up.

Chapter 12: Anything Special
"Scootaloo, mah boyfriend better be alive or else I will buck you to next Tuesday!" I yell angrily at Scootaloo.
"I-it was an accident, I swear!" She said shaking nervously. I see her do this and I felt the redness in my face wash away.
"Fine, I forgive you. Only if mah boyfriend comes back alive!" She nods quickly and speeds off upstairs. I sighed in frustration and heard a knock at the door. I saw Spike run down the stairs to answer it. When he opened the door, I smiled with delight.
"Hey, I think my weapons are here. May I check?" Said my lovely boyfriend as he walked into the house. "Oh, hi Apple Bloom."
"Howdie!" I said in my cutest voice. I realized that the voice worked because he blushed slightly when hearing it. Thank Celestia I was cute. "Scootaloo took your things." I said.
"It was an accident!" Yelled Scootaloo from upstairs and I heard Jake chuckle.
"Well, I'm still standing, so I don't mind." He said. He was so forgiving. I thought about him more until I heard him say, "Bloom, are you ok?" I looked at myself I was lying on the ground with my hooves stretched out, I blushed and he laughed.
"You know what, I'll stay for the next day so that I can prepare. The others are doing the same." I beamed with joy and ran into his arms and hugged him. I looked over to Spike and Sweetie Belle, who was now awake.
"Do y'all mind?" I said with a smile and they walked upstairs, Sweetie Belle giggling. I looked up at Jake and he looked at me. For the next minute or so, I felt our lips touch and eventually, we fell on the floor. I've never felt that much happiness in my life.
//Jake\
I woke up with only my pants on and lying next to Apple Bloom. -What the fuck did I do- I thought as I stood up, I felt nervous when my legs started trembling. -Woah, what happened last night- I looked over at Apple Bloom and immediately, my heart starting beating, fast. -Well, I guess something happened last night- But all I could remember was her asking, 'How old are you?' I must have told her my age, otherwise I probably wouldn't have done the things we had done.
"I heard everything!" I heard someone squeal and I looked upstairs to see Sweetie Belle peaking over the ledge. She blushed and said, "And saw some of it."
"Uh, listen, I uh..."
"I already know about the birds and the bees." She told me and I sighed. She still shouldn't have witnessed whatever it was she witnessed.
"What part did you see?" I asked, actually wanting to know.
She replied with a wink, "Your favourite part." She said and started laughing. I felt like I was going to throw up. What would Rarity do if she found out. "Oh, and you were a little rough on her." She said with a giggle.
I blushed intensely, "Oh God."
//1 hour later as Apple Bloom\
I woke up in the morning and saw that I was on the floor. I felt very warm and my heart was beating and, wet? I looked around and remembered what happened last night and I sighed happily and fell back, my eyes half lowered.
"So did anything special happen?" Asked a voice of which I jumped at. I looked and saw Scootaloo with Sweetie Belle. I was still upset with Scootaloo, but she was my friend, so I chose to forgive her. I blushed at the question and I nodded, then they gasped.
"How old is he?" Asked Sweetie Belle. Looked up at them and answered their question.
"17, why?" I said as they looked at me with worried faces.
"Apple Bloom, you're only 13. Why would you go that far?"
"Well, I just love him that much I guess..." I said getting up and trotting over to the kitchen area to get myself breakfast. Before I could even walk into the kitchen, I heard somepony walking behind me. I turned around to Jake in his uniform, which was now cleaned. We both blushed at each other as Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle went outside to get something. As I sat down I looked up at Jake and he looked at me. We both blushed.
"I uh... don't really... remember what happened last night." He said and I looked up at him with a grin.
"Lets just say you made this filly very happy." I said blushing a little. "Oh and by the way, thanks for going rough." I said, turning away with my flank raised and hopped off the chair. In a mirror I watched was ogling me and blushing. I giggled and walked out the door.
//Jake\
Wow, she is just... wow. For a kid, she really knows how to get me going. I got those thoughts out of my head and turned back to the table, ate my breakfast, washed the dishes, gathered my weapons, and walked out of the doorway. I was only to be greeted by the two brats Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. They laughed at me and looked from side to side, trying to see why they were laughing.
"Wow, it really seems like you have an addiction to blank flanks. Especially after what you did last night." Said Diamond.
"Y-you heard us?" I asked with a blush.
"To be honest, I'm pretty sure the whole town heard you two." I blushed a deep red. "But why would you settle for a blank flank, instead of fillies like us." Said Silver Spoon.
"Because, unlike you, Apple Bloom is actually a very nice pony, mark or no mark." I said staring at them. "And don't forget my warning." I said. They laughed nervously and took off. I can scare anypony I want, at least without guards hunting me down.
I walked around the town and I got a few glares and glances and heard some giggles from ponies walking by. I ignored them and continued to walk towards Fluttershy's house, which was given a map of Ponyville. But then, my focus turned to my watch. I stared at it and walked to Fluttershy's house.
On my way there, I bumped into somepony, the pony looked up at me amused and I stood there uncomfortable. The one thing she said was a mutter.
"I knew they were real..."

Chapter 13: Lyra and BonBon
I looked down at the pony with a confused look. "Uh, excuse me?" I say and the pony starts to sweat nervously.
"I-I-I'm Lyra." She says shivering. "This is m-m-my friend BonBon."
"You don't have to be so nervous." I say with a reassuring look.
"O-ok." Says Lyra looking at her friend as if asking her to speak for her.
"Me and my friend were looking around Ponyville for a new area to put our candy shop." Said BonBon in a more calm voice. She sounded like a nice pony and I decided to treat her as such.
"You two run a candy store?" Both nod. "Well, I guess ponies don't only eat vegetables here." I say with a sigh.
BonBon looks at me with a questioned look and asked shyly. "Than... what do you eat?"
"I eat mostly meat, why?" I saw their faces flush and I understood why. Ponies here are vegetarians and I choose to except it. "I haven't eaten meat since I arrived in this world, so don't worry." They were still scared, but I saw the color return to their faces. I watched as Lyra's gaze turned to my hands and I started to get more uncomfortable.
"I'm on my way to Fluttershy's house, so if you would please-."
"Oh my Celestia, he has hands too?! He is a human!" I swear I saw a faint sign of her passing out, but BonBon helped her regain. They looked at me and in unison, they said "See you later, alligator!" Then they hopped off laughing.
Alright, more crazy ponies, but also new friends. I continued my walk to a cottage at the edge of Everfree Forest. I knocked on the door and it slightly opened. "H-hello?" Said a shy voice from inside.
I replied in the nicest voice I could manage. "Hi, you must be Fluttershy. We met when Princess Cadence picked me up did we not?" She nodded shyly and opened the door and let me in. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was not only the mane five, but about a hundred animals. -How does she put up with having so many animals, is that a bear?!- I thought looking at a bear in the corner of the room and gulped.
"Hey, about time you showed up. Where have you been?" Asked an annoyed Rainbow Dash.
"Talking to two ponies who claimed they own a candy shop, but that doesn't matter. You all ready to go?" I asked and everyone nodded. "Alright, let's go fight the-."
"WAIT!!!" I heard someone behind me yell, well more like more than one someone. I turned around to find the CMC standing out the door. "We wanna help!" Said Scootaloo.
"Oh no you don't, we can't possibly have you three get hurt." Said Rarity.
"But, we could get our cutie marks!" Squealed Sweetie Belle.
"The only thing you will be getting on your flank will be a cut from a blade, it's too dangerous." I told them. I noticed Scootaloo whispering something to Apple Bloom that I couldn't hear, she smirked and looked at me. She trotted up to me and hugged my leg while looking at me with those puppy dog eyes, those eyes, gah I can't take it! "Fine! You can go, but only if you stay by me!" They all cheered and gave Apple Bloom a high five, high hoof? "I can't believe I fell for that." I said and I heard Twilight chuckle.
"Who wouldn't fall for it?" She asked me and she walked out the door with Pinkie Pie hopping behind her. The pony that was psychopathic and once tried to kill you, is all bright and sunny now. I didn't get her, maybe there was another side of her that made her crazy, I don't know.
I followed them and we walked into Everfree. We kept our heads low with warnings from Fluttershy and proceeded. I looked behind me to see if the crusaders were there, and sure enough they were, but looked very scared. We looked high and low and couldn't find any trace once we met up Twilight mentioned a plan.
"We should split up into three groups, one with a walkie talkie." She said handing herself, Rainbow, and me walkie talkies. "Jake, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo will search east. Pinkie and I will go west. Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Rarity will go north." She used her horn to get a big branch out of a tree and stuck it in the middle of them to mark their starting point.
With that, we split up.
//Twilight\
We split off to the west and Pinkie, for once, behaved. I guess even the always smiling, party pony was scared. I wouldn't blame her, I was scared as well. We were hunting something that couldn't possibly be hunted. I froze at the sound of a bush crackling and looked behind me to find something jumping through the trees.
//Jake\
I kept low as I made my way through the forest. I decided to take a break when we found nothing. I looked over at the three, all shivering, and I decided to comfort them. I picked all three up, one by one, and put them on my lap. I chuckled as the three immediately embraced me and I pet their heads, which made them calm a little.
It was getting late as I got a radio report from Twilight. "Jake, I just saw something heading in your direction. Give us the instruction to head your way." Now this reminded me of a mission I had that I was in a situation like this. We were on a mission to find and secure our overlord. I smiled and loaded up my shotgun.
Alright predator, bring it on.

Chapter 14: The Final Battle
"What the hell are you?"
I looked around, but saw no sight of the predator. I signalled for the crusaders to stick by my side and they listened. We kept low in case it was in the area at the time. We kept walking around until I heard something drop from the trees and land on the ground. I watched as the being stood up and my heart stopped as I saw the predator.
"Stay... quiet..." I say as the fillies looked towards me. "Don't move and don't make a fucking sound." I say in a whisper that was quiet but loud enough for them to hear. I make my way until I was behind the predator. I quietly snook up behind it with my knife, ready to stab it. I was right behind it and lunged to knife it, but I went right through. Then, it suddenly shorted out and disappeared. I looked to my left in time to see the predator running at me and, with enough power, knocked me into the bushes where the crusaders were. (Warning: Copyright) I heard my radio beep and Twilight said something to me.
"Jake, there is a helicopter on the outside of Everfree that Rainbow brought in from Cloudsdale!" She said as the fillies watched me with fear and I yelled to them.
"GET TO THE CHOPPER!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. They nodded and ran, except for Apple Bloom who looked back and started crying.
"You promised..." She said before running off.
I felt myself get pulled towards the predator and watched its wrist blades pop out and it tried to stab me, but I dodged each blow. I hit it with my fist and it stumbled back. This gave me the chance to get to my feet and escape, but to the opposite direction of Ponyville. It growled and chased after me, while shooting plasma shots at my feet, trying to get me to fall. It almost worked a few times as I was forced to stop those few times. I decided to stop running and to take a stand. I pulled out my shotgun and shot its leg causing it to stumble, but it continued its chase. I continued to run backwards while firing my shotgun, only hitting it twice when I was out of ammo. I felt the predator backhand me with its blades and sent me flying, but I didn't hit the ground. I kept falling and falling until I felt myself hit the water. I was quickly pulled to the bottom of the lake, but managed the strength to get back to the surface.
I climbed on shore and stopped to catch my breath, but soon, I saw something invisible hit the water. -Shit- I only had one hope in killing this thing. I pulled out my grenade launcher and noticed I had three grenades for it. -That's all I need- I put one into the launcher and flung the gun, making the launcher close. I aimed it at the object floating in the lake and fired. Unfortunately, I hit its armour, but fortunately, I hit its cloaking device. Now I could see it no matter what. I quickly reloaded and fired at the water this time, but it was a waste of ammo when the water suppressed the explosion. -Fuck me- I thought back to what Apple Bloom wanted me to promise, and in order to do that I needed to kill this thing.
I ran off deeper into the forest and stopped at a tree to catch my breath. That's when I felt some sort of heat on my head, I turned around and felt it with my hand. It was three dots in the form of a triangle. I looked up and felt a searing pain hit me in the chest, but didn't put a hole through it. I tumbled down the hill until I reached a place where I could see sunlight in a wide open area. I looked to my left and saw the chopper in sky. "JAKE!!!" I heard Apple Bloom cry out. The chopper started to lower, but stopped when I could see Rainbow stunned at something. I turned my head to see the predator walking out of its habitat and staring at me. I heard something unfold and looked up in time to see the three crusaders, all using the same parachute, floating down.
"What are you three doing?" I said coughing up blood.
"Don't you dare mess with mah boyfriend!" Said Apple Bloom as her and her friends stood in front of my lying body.
"You're going to have to go through us!" Shouted Scootaloo.
The predator laughed and started to remove its mask. When it did, I saw something that would scare even me. It had a head like some sort of alien creature and teeth like a scorpion. It looked down at the now shivering fillies and what it did next terrified me.
"You're going to have to go through us." It said in its own voice and growled loudly. The three screamed as it picked up Scootaloo and took out its blades. Then I saw Scootaloo start to cry and Rainbow Dash start to climb out of the chopper. I rose to my feet in time to see Rainbow Dash speeding towards the predator, but instead, she got impaled by its blades. It let her go and she fell to the ground with a puddle of blood surrounding her.
I took charge and rammed the predator, bringing it to the ground. It let go of Scootaloo, who immediately ran to Rainbow and she put an ear on her chest and smiled at the chopper. "She's still breathing!!!" Twilight used her magic to pull Rainbow up and set her down on a bed in the chopper. I felt myself get lifted and thrown over to the hill. I grunted and spat out blood, then I looked over to the side of me and saw my grenade launcher with a grenade at its side. I heard Apple Bloom scream in pain and looked over to see a cut on her face, probably from the blades. I couldn't take anymore. I reached for my launcher and the grenade, got both, and loaded it.
"APPLEBLOOM!" I yelled and she looked at me. "RUN!" I said and she did so. The predator looked at me, but it was to late, I fired my launcher and the ground beneath him blew up. It was a huge explosion, bigger then the last one when I hit its armour.
I stood up with my hand on my chest and noticed I had no shirt on of any nature. I walked down the hill and stumbled to the predator, who was still barely alive. It repeated my words and said, "Run." I saw it press a button on its wrist launcher and weird hieroglyphic symbols appeared on its countdown screens. I widened my eyes and it started laughing. I watched as the helicopter started taking off. The bomb was about to explode when I spotted Apple Bloom on the ground, helpless. I ran over to her, picked her up and she looked at me and I looked at her.
"I'm sorry." I said before throwing her over to the chopper and she was caught by Fluttershy, who was helped by Rarity, and pulled her in. I watched as the helicopter rode off, I knew it was to late for me. I looked back at the predator and started to relax. Then I saw Princess Celestia surrounded in a white light looking at me.
"You are very brave Jake, I would be happy to allow you into my kingdom." She said and then and explosion was heard, the sound faded and everything went black.
//Apple Bloom\
I watched from the helicopter as the explosion detonated. I looked back at Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo in the bed and I noticed something. Everypony in the chopper was looking at me as we made I turn for the explosion sight. We soon arrived at the sight and smoke and Debre was everywhere. I tried looking around for Jake and soon, Sweetie and Scoots did too.
"Jake!" Said Scootaloo. "Where are you!?!" She shouted and we did the same. I reached a point where I could see a figure lying on the ground. At first I thought it was the predator, but it wasn't. I saw something in his hand, but I couldn't see what it was. When I ran up to get a closer look, my eyes widened. I saw a slow breathing Jake lying on the ground. I ran over and started to shake him.
"Jake! Oh thank Celestia you're alive!" I said and he brushed my mane. I felt something fall around my neck. I picked up the heavy part and saw the red crystal heart on it. I started to tear up as I looked at it and then looked up at my boyfriend. His eyes were slowly closing. When they closed he muttered something to me that made me as well as everypony else, load with tears.
"Apple Bloom, I... I... love you..." He said before his head turned sideways his arms relaxed as well as his whole body. I shook my head in denial.
"No... no... no, you promised! You promised!" I shouted and embraced him. What made me start to cry was that I didn't feel his heartbeat, his lungs weren't inhaling anything, he was motionless. "No!" I said lying on top of him crying. I could hear the others weeping and Scootaloo was trying to hold back tears. She looked up and Dash and asked her this.
"Is it alright... for.. brave ponies to cry?" She kept trying to hold back tears. Dash nodded to her and closed her eyes with tears. Scootaloo then embraced her sister and same with Sweetie Belle. We all cried and I was told by Twilight.
"Come on, it's time to go." She said filled with tears.

I looked out to the Apple Orchard and smiled. It's been a while since I had a day like this, and I was happy to enjoy it. I was now 18 years old as well as Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. We all earned our cutie marks a year ago while we were riding on Scootaloo's scooter. We were on our way to school and Scootaloo decided to do a trick. We were in a wagon so it didn't matter to us. After she hit the trick she got her cutie mark, a wheel with purple flames on it. Then we were rehearsing for a talent show and Sweetie Belle got her cutie mark, a bell with three musical notes flowing out of it. Then there was mine that I got while at my first love's grave. It was a heart with a bloom on it, and that made me smile. Then I heard a voice ask me something.
"Mommy, can we pwease go to Shugar Cubes Carner now?" Asked my 4 year old daughter, Apple Pie. She had a mane as red as an apple like me, and a tan coat like Jake, her father.
"Of course we can." I said getting up and walking Apple Pie over to Sugar Cube Corner.
When we got there, the first thing I saw was Scootaloo and Rumble making out on the table. They were lucky Pinkie Pie took over the place and no one was here. I cleared my throat and they separated and looked at me. They blushed and Rumble let Scootaloo into her seat. I laughed and noticed Sweetie Belle had come up behind me, her voice wasn't as squeaky, but still.
"Hiya Apple Bloom." She said and I turned around and created her. She was locked arms with Button Mash and she patted Apple Pie's head and giggled. "Hey there Apple Tie." She said on purpose so that Apple Pie could say.
"I keep telwing you, it's Apple Pie." She said laughing and they all looked at me.
"So Apple Bloom. Have you taken any stallions into consideration yet?" Asked Scootaloo.
"The answer is still no, nopony can replace Jake." I said receiving a hug from Apple Pie.
"Oh please Apple Bloom, we all saw you looking at Caramel Cake." Said Sweetie Belle and I blushed. I met Caramel Cake during the prom and he offered to dance with me, I had a crush on him ever since.
"I still think I'm not ready." I said looking down at Apple Pie.
That's when we heard someone trot through the door and I blushed, it was Caramel. I looked away as he said hi to me as I replied hi back. I heard Apple Pie whisper something in his ear when I turned to him and he smiled. "You have a crush on me?" He asked and I blushed and Scootaloo nodded.
"Cats out of the bag." She said.
I looked at Apple Pie and she looked back. "What? I wanted a daddy." Now that made me feel terrible and the others probably did too. I looked up at Caramel who trotted over and kissed me I went full blown blush as I received a bunch of 'ooooo's'. I took it and realized then he said something that surprised me.
"I'll gladly be this young ones watch over if you would like." I looked at Scootaloo who was nodding.
I sighed and said, "Yes." I then kissed him again and heard Apple Pie hopping around.

Chapter 3.5: An Enemy Arrives
Chapter 3.5: An Enemy Arrives
An unspeakable predator jumps from tree to tree, stalking for its next prey. It had only just arrived and had no skulls. His goal is to retrieve a lot more skulls than usual. He jumps from tree to tree at night until he comes across a farm. He activates his cloak and proceeds to the farm by hiding behind apple trees. He came across his first prey was in sight, a big red stallion hauling a cart of apples was in sight. The predators cannon lifts from his armour and he takes aim and aims his sights at the stallion's hoof. He looks at it as it leads up to his head. When he sees where it was coming from, it was to late, the shot was fired hitting the stallion in the head, he falls on his back lifeless. The predator proceeds to skin him and uses his skull as a trophy.

Chapter 6: Saved In Time and Danger Ahead

Attention!: In my chapters, I will be switching from character to character so that I'm not just Jake anymore. For example: if a pony were to wonder off on his/her own, I would most likely be in control of him/her. Enjoy!
Chapter 6: Saved In Time and Danger Ahead
"Rise 'n shine!" Said a familiar voice as I tried to wake up. "Did you sleep well?"
When I woke up I saw Apple Bloom standing on my chest. She was surprisingly light as I sat up and she hopped off of me. She giggled at me and I asked her why, and she just pointed at me. I gave her a questioned look, but then she held up a mirror for me. My hair was a mess and I blushed with embarrassment. She just giggled and trotted outside to where her sister was.
I sighed and got out of bed. I would never hear the end of it if I didn't wash my hair, I walked over to a sink and started washing my hair and face.
//Apple Bloom\
On her way to school she was visited by her two friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. They were talking about different things like the shock of Pinkie being arrested. But then Scootaloo said something that made her freeze.
"So, how was your night with 'Jakey'?" Sweetie and her giggled as they saw Apple Bloom blush.
"Y'all know it was nothin' like that." She swayed her hoof as the two giggled.
"Sure it wasn't." Squeaked Sweetie Belle in a sarcastic tone.
"Lets just get to school." She said trying to avoid her whole face from blushing.
"Fine we will stop, but since when did you get a crush on him."
"Well... when he saved me from death, I don't know what it was but after that I kinda got a feeling that made me feel like I was flying." When she snapped out of thought she noticed she was stumbling and beat red. She saw Her two friends trying to hold back laughter the rest of the way to school.
When they got to school they were greeted by Ms. Cheerlie on the front of the school. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon haven't been haven't to school since Jake showed them off. So she took her seat which was in the middle right of the room. It has been quite without the two bullies harassing her through school and getting her in trouble.
They were ready to start the first lesson when there was a scratch of claws at the door. A couple foals shuttered as they heard this and Ms. Cheerlie answered the door, only to see no one there, but little did she know on a nearby tree, sat the predator on a branch, his cloak on making him invisible. When the magenta pony walked back to her class. She was confused and wondered who was at the door.
After about 10 minutes of lessons the glass window close to her was shattered. Ms. Cheerlie told them all to go into the corner of the classroom. That's when they all screamed as they saw what was causing the schools destruction of property. A big monster, the size of Jake, came in through the window. It had a mask and sharp blades on its wrist, body armour, and a small cannon like object on its shoulder. She couldn't help but scream as it approached them.
That's when the heard the door being kicked in. They all turned to see Jake in the door way with a handgun and he fired at the monster. As it retreated, it was shot in the knee and it activated its cloak. Soon, he was out of ammo and he reloaded his gun. He looked over at us.
"You all okay?" Said Applejack as she walked into the room. I ran up to her and hugged her, my heart still racing from fear.
//Jake\
I looked at the class and sighed as the teacher thanked me. "It was nothing, I'm a soldier after all." When the class heard that they all surrounded me, except for Apple Bloom who wasn't surprised one bit. The class was asking questions and I answered them until the guards, or you can say police, showed up. As I walked back with Apple Bloom on my shoulder she asked me a question that made me stop.
"Jake, do you have a special somepony?"
I thought for a minute, knowing she asked if I had a girlfriend. I added it up, her constant blushing, her calling me 'Jakey', and her asking me that question. "Apple Bloom, do you have a crush on me?" I asked with a hint of confusion.
"Answer my question and I'll answer yours." She said looking down but had a smile.
"No, no I don't." I said knowing I haven't been focused on that kind of stuff in my life.
"Oh, well.. time for me to answer." She pecked my cheek and I blushed as she did so and she giggled. I shook my head and proceeded to her farm house.
The rest of the journey was quiet. I was mostly thinking of the alien that had tried to attack a class of foals. When we arrived at her house, I sat her down and she gave I quick smile before wondering into her house. I smiled back and turned and started walking toward the clubhouse, which was my rest house for the time being.

She made sure she was alone before letting out deep breaths, her face a deep red. She had kissed her crush. She had felt like she was flying on a cloud and climbed onto her bed with a sigh of happiness. She started to slowly close her eyes, even though it was still day time until eventually, she fell asleep.
She woke up to a scream in the distance and out her window, a bunch of lights being turned on houses. She looked at the clock and it read 10:31. She heard a knock on the door and went downstairs to see her sis talking to someone at the door. She trotted over until she saw who was at the door. Shining Armour, who was in his guard armour, was at the door.
"Just stay indoors and lock all entrances to your home until further instruction." He said in a stern voice and looked at me before trotting away. Sis closed the door and locked, she did the same with the rest of the downstairs.
"What's goin' on?" I said with worry.
"Its a'right Apple Bloom, just go lock the windows upstairs, 'kay?" She replied.
"Ok..." I proceeded to do so and a thought came to my head. Jake's out there. I ran downstairs to Applejack.
"What 'bout Jake? He's still out there!" I questioned sick with worry.
"Don't worry sugarcube, he can handle himself." Right as she said that a scream, followed by two others, was heard in the distance. Even though none of them was his scream, she felt sick and passed out.

Chapter 8: Love Is In Bloom, But She Doesn't Know
//Jake\
He looked over at the three. "Oh, hey girls." He said and looked at Applebloom.
He watched as Sweetie pushed her over to me and whispered something in her ear and she whispered back. I remembered the question she wanted to ask Apple Bloom and I blushed.
"Oh my gosh, she said kissing you was- mmph." Apple Bloom covered her mouth to prevent her from revealing her answer.
"No go on, let her talk." Apple Bloom let go as if she were in a trance and I was confused on what happened.
"She said kissing you was the most amazing feeling she had!" She said with a squealing action. I looked at Apple Bloom with a smug look.
"Really?" I said chuckling to myself. She nodded staring at my arms. I looked around and motioned for Scoots and Sweetie to leave and they did giggling. I picked up Apple Bloom.
"So how good was this fe-" I was cut off when I felt our lips touch. My heart raced as fast as it could. I couldn't help myself as I hugged her while we kissed. She released and we smiled at each other, looking into each other's eyes.
"Um, does this make us... something special?" She asked and I answered immediately.
"Oh buck yeah!" I said pulling her into another kiss. We stood there for a while until we were pulled apart by an "AWWW!" in unison. We turned to see Scoots and Sweetie and they giggle and we kissed each other again before I set her down and we went into the clubhouse. The CMC Sat at a table and started discussing cutie marks, but my favourite filly was looking off. She snapped out of it when Scoots waved a hoof in front of her face. Scoots looked at me and winked and I smiled back at her.
//Shining Armour\
I woke up and saw a lamp hanging above me. I also saw my little sister and my wife. My wife hugged me and told me how worried the my were about me. I looked at Twilight and she nodded.
"The beast you were fighting knocked you out with some sort of laser from its shoulder. I looked at every single book in the Crystal Empire's library, including my own, I couldn't find a thing about it. I was thinking we could get the human to give us answers but we don't know where is." She said looking at me.
"I need to defeat it." I said with a grunt and my wife, Princess Cadence, laid me back down. "We will handle this, you rest." She said with a smile as they walked out the door.
//Twilight\
They looked around Ponyville, asking different ponies on if they knew where the humans were if they had seen him. They soon came across Fluttershy and Applejack. They asked them and Applejack replied.
"Y'all mean Jake? He's with mah sister at their clubhouse, they're all friends now." She said and led us to them. We saw Jake standing in the middle of the area behind three fillies pondering on an answer for a cutie mark in question answering.
//Jake\
"Um, Saturday?" Asked Scoots.
"Wrong, the answer was 3." Me, Sweetie and Bloom burst out with laughter to her answer on 2 + 1.
"Um, excuse me?" Said a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Twilight and Applejack with two other ponies he hadn't known.
One was pink and majestic like the princesses, but looked younger. The other was a yellow pegasus with a pink mane. They looked at each other and then at me.
"My name is Princess Cadence, we are going to ask you to come with us."
He walked into the hospital room and saw the guard that helped him from before, in the torture chamber. I watched as Bloom hugged my head while she was on my shoulders. I sat down in a chair as I saw the other ponies I had met, Rainbow, Rarity, AJ, Pinkie (who was restrained), Twilight, and Fluttershy. The princesses were there also.
"What's going on?" I asked and I supposed Bloom was wondering two when I her jump down onto my lap and lie down.
"Jake, remember the monster that attacked mah sister at school?" I nodded. "Well..." Said Princess Luna. "We were wondering if you knew anything on it."
I felt nervous as all eyes turned on me. I sighed and looked at Shining. "You helped me, I'll help you." I said then looked at Princess Cadence. "Its something I call a predator, it hunts people and I guess ponies, and kills them, like it did your brother, and your guards." I said looking down at my girlfriend who was looking at me.
"It hunts for fun." I looked up. "It skins it's prey and takes its skull, then hangs it in a tree." I said as I heard multiple gasps and sighed.
"When will it stop?" Asked Princess Celestia.
"It doesn't stop until it's satisfied." I said raising my voice hearing a gasp from Twilight. "I'm sorry."
"Its ok, any other information?" Asked Princess Cadence.
"Very little, it has a cloaking device, shoulder cannon, and wrist blades it uses for killing. Thermal vision helps it see through darkness, smoke, and its mask." Everyone exchanged glances.
"Anyway to kill it?" Asked Rainbow Dash.
I smiled as I answer, "Yes, it kills prey one by one, and we will use it to our advantage." They all looked at me, including the CMC.

Chapter 15: In A Fit of Rage
I was standing in the middle of the school yard. I was accompanied by Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Twist, Rumble, and Pipsqueak. I was sobbing on Scootaloo's shoulder and she let me. That's when I heard familiar voices come up behind me.
"What's going on her blank flanks?" Said Diamond.
"Leave us alone." Said Twist.
"No. I can do what I want." Said Diamond I looked at her and saw her alone. I felt a pat on my shoulder and turned to see Silver Spoon smiling at me, not the way she did before, she did it as more of a friendly smile.
"What's wrong Apple Bloom?" She said and I told her everything that happened and she hugged me. "I'm so sorry." She said as she let go of me.
"Your boyfriend died?" I said and I turned around to look at her. "Heh, I guess I was right, he is weak. He was so weak he couldn't kill that one animal." She said snickering I heard a gasping noise come from the crowd behind me. I started to feel my face boiling, my hooves started to shake, I felt fire in my eyes. I stared at Diamond who was rolling on the floor, laughing as hard as she could.
I looked up to her and she saw my face. "You... mother... FUCKER!" I yelled receiving gasps and I couldn't control myself. I jumped Diamond Tiara and pressed my front hooves down on her throat. I was choking her and wouldn't stop until she was dead.
"APPLE BLOOM, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Yelled Miss Cheerliee. She ran over to me and pulled me off Diamond Tiara. She had passed out from lack of air, but sadly she was still alive. I felt Sweetie Belle embrace me and a bunch on ponies glares on me, including Miss Cheerliee. I felt like I was going to go on a rampage so before I did, I ran home. "APPLE BLOOM, GET BACK HERE. I WILL TELL YOUR SISTER IF-!"
"SHE'S DEAD!" I yelled as I ran away from the crowd.
I soon reached home and I looked myself in my room and cried into my pillow until I heard a knock at the door.
"Apple Bloom, you in there?" Asked Sweetie Belle. I opened the door slightly to see Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo standing there, so I opened the door all the way.
"Hi girls..." I said depressed. "Ahm fine, ah just need a minute."
"You need years!" Said Scootaloo. "You almost killed Diamond Tiara and because of it, Miss Cheerliee let us all go home while she got Diamond's father."
I looked down at my heart necklace and sighed. "She shouldn't have been a bitch about Jake!" I told them with a tear coming to my eye. Sweetie Belle wiped it away.
"Its okay Apple Bloom, here, we will stay with you for the night if you want."
I looked up at them. "You two are the best." I said hugging them.
