Brass Tacks circled over the wide ravine, scowling at what he saw below. Princess Celestia had hoof picked him for this task, scouting the southern borders of the empire where the badlands are, but nopony could have predicted this.
There had been many rumours and stories coming out of the badlands. Some kind of monster. Ponies had heard about it from other ponies, and it was some kind of horrible flesh eating fiend, but nopony had actually seen it.
Brass Tacks was also a horrible flesh eating fiend, fond of eating fish, the occasional brainless deer, and sometimes a mindless sheep if he was feeling particularly hungry and wasn’t in the mood for mutton else. He refused to eat anything that could say “no.” Brass Tacks was a lunar pegasus, or more commonly referred to as a “batpony” if somepony was feeling stupid and wanted to have their teeth kicked out. It was difficult to fly during the day and Brass Tacks was wearing smoked glass goggles to protect his blood-moon pink slitted eyes from the horrible horrible sun.
Below him, in the ravine, napping in the sun, was a dragon. It was large, purple and black, covered in spines and spikes, had scales like metal shields, teeth like minotaur swords, and wings. It had to be over one hundred feet long from nose to tail-tip.
Brass Tacks banked and glided downwards, eventually landing on a rocky outcropping overlooking the dragon. He swallowed a few times, his professional pride on the line, and prepared himself for what was sure to be an interesting and potentially fatal encounter.
“Hey you!” Brass Tacks bellowed.
The dragon snorted a puff of smoke and awoke.
Brass Tacks felt his balls clench in fear, and his pucker tightened.
“Yeah, you, get out of here! By order of Princess Celestia, you are to go!” Brass Tacks commanded, flaring his wings out and trying to look as intimidating as possible.
The dragon sat up, stretched, scratched a few times, and then peered at the tiny pegasus on the rocky outcropping, which was at eye level for the sitting dragon. It yawned, revealing serrated teeth a yard long.
Brass Tacks realised that he was nothing more than a minor mouthful. But he was not deterred. His pride was on the line. He cleared his throat and bared his own inch long fangs.
“You are to leave at once by order of the Crown!” Brass Tacks commanded, puffing out his barrel and trying to make himself look bigger.
The dragon yawned again in reply, and peered at the potential pegasus hors d'oeuvre. It reached up and scratched its chin, smacked its lips a few times, and tried to clear the sleepy from its head.
“Last warning!” Brass Tacks growled.
The dragon growled, a terrible rumbling that sounded like a rockslide. Smoke billowed from its nostrils, and it’s eyes narrowed into fiery orange slits that blazed with deadly intensity.
Brass Tacks, not one to be cowed, growled back, pulling his lips back from his teeth, and flaring his nostrils.
The dragon opened up its mouth and roared, causing Brass Tacks to go sliding backwards, his metal shod hooves sending up sparks from the stones beneath him.
Snarling savagely, he stomped forwards and challenged the dragon again, flapping his wings and letting out his own roar.
The dragon seemed to consider this challenge for a moment, it sat looking thoughtful. It reached up with one enormous foreleg, extended a hooklike claw, and tweaked Brass Tacks’ muzzle with enough force to send the lunar pegasus stumbling back a bit.
Brass Tacks took to the air, his wings flapping, he was growling savagely as he flew forward and whacked the dragon on the snoot with all the force he could muster from his foreleg.
The dragon snorted in annoyance, sending out a cloud of smoke that made Brass Tacks cough. He waved both of his forelegs around, trying to clear the air. The two predators glared at one another.
The dragon, moving with frightening speed for a creature of its size, reached out and snatched Brass Tacks out of the air with one set of talons, as though it was snatching a butterfly, or, in the case of the lunar pegasus, a moth. It did no harm, catching him carefully. Using its other set of talons, it forcibly (but gently) folded the pegasus’ wings in and then clenched him in a fist.
“Let go of me!” Brass Tacks commanded. “Fight with honour!”
The dragon ignored its bite sized prisoner, spread its wings, and then flew off for its cave, holding its miniscule prize clutched in its talons.
“So, you brought me back to your cave to devour me you monster!” Brass Tacks said with all the bravado he could muster.
“Well, there is certainly nothing stopping me from eating you,” the dragon replied in a stone shuddering rumble.
“I’ll go down fighting! I’ll kick you every inch down! I’ll give you INDIGESTION!” the pegasus threatened.
“You’re cute,” the dragon said in what could only be described as the most terrifying feminine voice on the planet.
“What?” Brass Tacks said, trying not to panic. Nothing else that had happened had really scared him, but he was feeling the fear right now.
“Look at you, all aggressive and proud, standing your ground, with those cute little things you probably call fangs,” the dragon rumbled.
Brass Tacks began to stammer wordlessly.
“I am fascinated by your kind. You are all so soft and fleshy. Squishy. And so full of this thing your kind calls love. You have those soft weak little lips that you smoosh up against one another. I like to watch your kind rutting, if I can sneak up and get a chance,” the dragon confessed.
“What?” Brass Tacks asked, completely flummoxed.
“I like to watch your kind kissing… we dragons don’t kiss. We don’t have courtship rituals. The strong catches the weak and makes them submit. And sometimes, we larger females, we eat the males when we have what we want from them,” the dragon admitted.
Brass Tacks began to sweat.
“But not I,” the dragon said. “I want to be loved. I want to feel what it is like to be kissed. I want to be wooed. But no male dragons are willing to indulge me. I had to devour a few would be rapists.”
“What do you want from me?” Brass Tacks asked, getting down to brass tacks, his voice quavering with fear that he would refuse to acknowledge.
The dragon leaned her head down and placed it before the pegasus on the floor. “A kiss might be nice,” she invited. She kept her mouth closed, unable to actually pucker.
Brass Tacks coughed, trying to clear the smoke from his lungs. “What if I say no?” he asked.
“Then I keep pestering you. I am pony-curious,” the dragon replied.
“What is your name? Mine is Brass Tacks. Field Commander and scout,” Brass Tacks said.
“Oh, how rude of me, I am sorry, my name is Cindersoot,” the dragon replied in an embarrassed rumble, her smoky breath tickling Brass Tacks’ nostrils.
“So you want me to kiss you? Why?” Brass Tacks questioned.
“Because you seem very brave. You didn’t run away or piss yourself. You growled back. And I like that in a potential mate,” Cindersoot replied.
“Mate?” Brass Tacks asked.
“Yes, for life. I have old fashioned values. I am not into one night stands and dinner dates,” Cindersoot explained patiently.
“Dinner dates…” Brass Tacks said, his voice fading into an inaudible whisper as he spoke.
“Yes, dinner dates. I meet some dragon, we begin our deadly dance of dominance, he tries to pin me down and forcibly subdue me, I snap his spine, and then, when the date is over, I eat him,” Cindersoot said, drumming her claws on the stone.
“Sounds exciting,” Brass Tacks replied, pulling his goggles down around his neck using a wing joint. He squinted one eye at the dragon and raised an eyebrow.
“Oh look at your tiny expressive face! So cute!” Cindersoot gushed.
“What if I don’t cooperate? Are you going to eat me?” Brass Tacks asked, his slitted eyes glittering.
“No,” Cindersoot sighed. “Like I said, I’ll keep pestering you, but if you really insist, I will let you go. I am fascinated by your kind. I’d never want to hurt you or eat you.”
“I see,” Brass Tacks commented. He strode forth bravely, closed his eyes, and then planted a kiss on the dragon’s lips. Well, something almost kind of sort of but yet somehow entirely unlike lips.
“Hmm,” Cindersoot hummed thoughtfully. “Is that it? I see ponies doing so much more,” she added.
Brass Tacks took a deep breath, screwed his sense of adventure to the sticking place, and planted another big smooch on the dragon’s mouth. He opened his mouth, licked her with his tongue, and then gave a friendly nip with his fangs. It was like licking a fireplace, she tasted of smoke and had a vague metallic taste.
The dragon reacted. Her whole body jerked.
“Oh… I like that!” she bellowed.
Brass Tacks lunged forward and began to savagely gnaw on the dragon’s lower ‘lip’ with his fangs, creating a cacophony of screeching and squealing sounds as his teeth scraped over the somewhat metallic and flexible scales.
“Hhhmmmmmm,” Cindersoot moaned. “I like that,” she said in a smokily sultry thunderous rumble.
Brass Tacks gnawed even more, and began to use his echolocation, bouncing ultrasonic waves off of the dragon’s scales.
“This is pleasant,” Cindersoot murmured sweetly. She pulled away from the kiss and then fell over on to the floor, rolling over onto her back. “Dominate me,” she invited.
Brass Tacks froze. How does one dominate a one hundred foot long dragon he asked himself. He spread his wings and took to the air, looking around, seeing what he had to work with. Dragons had to be able to make little dragons somehow.
He landed on her belly and stood atop her, feeling her abdomen rise and fall with her breathing. He walked towards the dragon’s tail, an odd swagger in his walk. It didn’t take long, he found what he was looking for.
Cindersoot relaxed and spread out her hind legs, causing her several foot long slit to open ever so slightly. She was mottled purple and blue inside. Aiming his head downward, Brass Tacks used his echolocation to gauge her depths. I could fit my whole body in there he thought to himself.
The dragon quivered and moaned as his echolocation pulsed through her, and something began to peep out from her slit. A hot eggy smell of sulphur filled the air.
It had to be the largest clitoris in Equestria. Brass Tacks realised it was larger than his head. He pointed his snoot at the enormous love button and emitted a high pitched ultrasonic “SKREEEEEEE!” directly at the giant watermelon sized nubbin.
His weaponised cry was enough to shatter the spines of most vertibrates, making for an easy kill. On the dragon however, it had a very different effect. She began to thrash, kicking around all four legs and her wings, causing the cavern to tremble. She moaned in pleasure, and then began to mewl pleadingly as Brass Tacks turned up the intensity of his ultrasonic utterance.
A large golden droplet of moisture beaded up near the clitoral hood of the dragon’s slit and then began to trickle downward toward her tail.
The smell was intoxicating, even though it was sulphurous.
Brass Tacks’ whipped out his long rough tongue, a tongue that many thousands of years of evolution had evolved for licking marrow out of cracked bones. It was rough and could shear flesh from bone. He licked at the golden droplet, and, as he did so, his tongue trailed over the giant nubbin.
Cindersoot let out a strangely girlish shriek as her whole body shuddered and convulsed.
“Aw, you like that, don’t you!” Brass Tacks shouted. “Beg for more!” he demanded, a proud growl rumbling in his barrel.
“Oh please, oh please, oh please!” begged Cindersoot, each word a heaving wailing cry.
“YEAH! Beg for it!” Brass Tacks shouted, giving another lick when he had finished speaking.
The dragon’s swollen slit began to open, revealing soft, fleshy rubbery lips, glistening with beads of moisture, the sharp scales pushed aside and curled under the blossoming folds.
Brass Tacks felt himself growing hard.
He began licking the giant clit as he continued to “skree” which caused the dragon to pant heavily, occasionally letting out a fiery gasp. The dragon’s hips rocked and Brass Tacks nearly fell off.
He straddled her entrance, both of his hind legs hanging off to either side so he wouldn’t fall in, and he violently rammed his way into the folds, barely even teasing the outer edges. But his penetration was for him… and he had other plans for her.
He wrapped his forelegs around the giant knob and began to apply all of his strength, hugging and squeezing, still going “skree” as he licked.

As he attempted to devour the bulb of quivering flesh, he began relentlessly pounding the dragon’s canyonous cunt, which gripped him tighter than any mare he had ever had his way with. With every retreat, he felt at through his cock was going to be torn out by the root. The dragon was grippy.
With each nip, each bite, each savage clamping of his jaws, the dragon squealed like a freshly broke filly, or the squeaking cries of a crushed rubber duck.

“I know that I was asking for something permanent, but I have decided to let you go. If you wish to leave, you may do so, without harm or repercussion,” Cindersoot said.

“Really? Do you think we could be happy?” Cindersoot replied.
“I can’t see why not… you sure seemed happy a little while ago,” Brass Tacks quipped.
“Do not play with my heart morsel,” Cindersoot growled.
“Don’t make me make you beg again,” Brass Tacks growled back.
Cindersoot looked down at the tiny pony on her belly. “You really are serious, you would stay with me,” she stated.
“I like you. A great deal. My kind are attracted to the biggest and most dangerous females, and here you are… the biggest and most dangerous female I have ever seen. I am at a good point in my career to settle down a bit,” Brass Tacks said.
“It gladdens me to hear you say that,” Cindersoot replied. “Because I have been fertilised from our coupling.”
“Oh,” Brass Tacks gasped. “OH SHIT!”
“Are you pleased?” she asked, a faint trace of insecurity in her voice.
“Of course I am pleased! I just rutted a dragon, lived to tell the tale, and now I am going to have awesome little monstrous offspring prove my claimns… I hope they don’t burn me,” he answered. “Where are we going to live?” he asked.
“We could live here,” Cindersoot offered.
“That might be nice, but I am expected at home,” Brass Tacks explained.
“I doubt your kind would accept me as readily as you have,” Cindersoot grumbled smokily. “But I would go with you to find out.”
“We could go back together, I know I could get them to listen to reason,” Brass Tacks replied. “And if they don’t, well, we will find someplace else.”
“You would do that for me?” the dragon queried.
“Well, we are a mated pair now, right?” the lunar pegasus questioned back.
The dragon made an odd sound and it took a moment for Brass Tacks to realised that what he was hearing was the sound of a happy dragon.
“I need a bath. I feel sticky and smell smoky,” he muttered. He planted another kiss on the dragon’s belly for good measure.
The water was cool and refreshing. The mismatched pair watched one another, one very tiny, one very gargantuan, as both of them bathed in a nearby river. Nothing bothered them… as there was nothing brave enough to bother a frolicking dragon and a lunar pegasus. The sun was starting to settle on the horizon.
As the night sky turned a faded indigo, the lunar pegasus took wing and the dragon followed after. Both soared through the sky effortlessly, both masters of flight, and both were graceful. They engaged in a mating dance midair, unpracticed, simply flying by instinct, swooping gracefully around one another. The pegasus broke away, hurtling off towards the distant horizon, and the dragon gave chase. The lunar pegasus looped and rolled, banked, then doubled back around, and the dragon matched him move for move. The lunar pegasus was able to pull off impossible airborne feats of flying using his echolocation, swooping in and around the much larger dragon.
It was the aerial dance of budding love.
Eventually, the pair grew weary and the dragon was content to glide using her several hundred foot wide wingspan. The lunar pegasus pony was happy to hitch a ride, resting on the dragon’s head and holding on to a horn.
As they flew, they talked, Brass Tacks shouting over the roaring wind into Cindersoot’s ear. They flew swiftly, the dragon a creature that could cover great distances in hours.
By midnight the pair were quite familiar with one another.
When dawn neared, they were flying over civilised lands, no doubt causing panic on the poor ponies below. Celestia might be waiting for them depending on how fast word might spread, as magic was faster than dragon flight.
As Brass Tacks had predicted, soon they had a group of Solar Guard escorts on each side, flying with them as they neared Canterlot. One of them shouted for the dragon to land, and to please not attempt to reach the city.
Wanting to leave a good impression, Cindersoot landed, still surrounded by solar pegasi. In the distance, another group of pegasi approached…
Celestia stood on a cloud at eye level with the dragon, staring at the dragon and Brass Tacks. She wasn’t quite sure what to say or do. There had never been a situation like this before.
“So let me get this straight. You two… are a mated pair?” Celestia asked. “How?”
“Well, I used my echolocation upon her giant clitoris and gnawed on it with my teeth, and while I was doing that I slipped her the pony making bone your Majesty,” Brass Tacks explained.
Celestia cringed.
“He was very loving and looked after my needs most attentively,” Cindersoot assured. “I don’t want to eat ponies, but I would like to watch them rutting.”
Celestia shuddered, still trying to get the mental image out of her mind. “I still don’t see how this is possible,” she said.
“I could show you-”
“NO!” Celestia screamed, interrupting Brass Tacks.
“Really, we wouldn’t mind offering a demonstration, that kind of turns me on actually,” Cindersoot admitted.
“NO NO NO NO!” the Monarch insisted.
“Aw,” Cindersoot replied sadly. “I was feeling the itch too. The idea of other ponies watching me sort of turns me on.”
“So you want to live among ponies, raise your young here, and you Cindersoot, you are willing to give an oath to guard Equestria?” Celestia re-instated.
“Yes,” both Cindersoot and Brass Tacks replied in unison.
“There are the vast caverns under Canterlot,” Brass Tacks suggested. “We could be happy there.”
“You must forgive me, this is all very difficult to take in,” Celestia apologised.
“Look, I going to have eggs soon. Very soon. Even now I can feel the itch to begin nesting. I want to settle down and raise my young among the better parts of their ancestry. Would you deny me that?” Cindersoot inquired bluntly.
“No. I do not think that I would,” Celestia stated. “As a Monarch to these ponies, I am very much a mother dragon in my own right.”
“Good. We understand one another. I want what is best for my young just like you do,” Cindersoot acknowledged.
“There will be a formal oath ceremony later. I will have unicorns create a safe opening into the caverns below Canterlot. Welcome to Equestria Cindersoot. Please do not abuse my trust,” Celestia stated.
“I understand your reservations, and I hope that you and I can be friends,” Cindersoot replied.
“Brass Tacks, your name will go down in legend… You are my dragon layer,” Celestia announced.
