Who is Dusk Chaser?

"WHOOOOOOOOOOAH!" screemed Luna, Dusk, and Celestia as they swirled in the portal. Suddenly, they landed with a thud. They were now back to their own dimension.

"That was fun." said Dusk, standing up and helped his friends stand up as well.

"Yeah, until we saw those gigantic beings." said Luna.

"Oh well, at least we're home safe and sound." said Celestia.

"Yeah." said Luna and Dusk in Unison.

"Huh?" said Clex as he was suddenly back in his room, his guests nowhere to be found. After regaining his logic, Clex saw something more surprising. "Princess Luna!" shouted Clex as he noticed that his dimension's Luna was right there with him.

"Where... where am I?" asked Luna still weary after what happened.

"Uhh... you are in my house." said Clex.

"WHO ARE YOU?" asked Luna, slightly worried, slightly shocked.

"I am Clex, Clex Aletto. I was told to take care of you.

"Oh, I don't remember anything." said Luna.

"It's ok, I will help you remember." said Clex.

"Thank you." said Luna.

Luna, Dusk, and Celestia decided to visit Starshine, Silver Haze, Blacklightning and Ravenger. They made their way to Blacklightning and Ravenger's house/lab. Luckily for them, they were all there waiting for them. "Luna, Dusk, Celestia, you're back!" said Starshine.

"What happened, did you encounter the Guardians of the dimensions?" asked Blacklightning.

"We did meet a gigantic white being." said Dusk.

"And we saw a gigantic white being." said Celestia.

"Is that what they were?" asked Luna.

"I guess so." said Ravenger.

"Did they fight you? How did you survive?" asked Silver Haze.

"Well, technically, the black one turned into a mist that changed Luna and Clex. They were the ones who fought us." said Dusk.

"Then another Luna took my place." said Luna.

"Who's Clex?" asked Ravenger.

"A friend we made in the other dimension." said Dusk

"So, how did you win?" asked Starshine.

"Well, most of the time, we just used defense. Dusk would use his spell and absorbed the dark magic they used." said Celestia.

"Yeah, it eventually caused him to turn taller, his mane and tail became darker, and weirdly, his wings were fixed." said Luna.

"Wow! Those guardians seem cool." said Silver Haze.

"Yeah, I want to learn all about something... something that has been haunting me ever since we arrived back here." said Dusk.

"What's that?" asked Starshine.

"I need to learn about the Shadows." said Dusk.

"So... Clex, tell me, what happened before now?" asked Luna.

"Uhm... well, me and my friends from another dimension were teleported to a place beyond space and beyond time. We met two beings, one white, the other black. These beings were supposedly the guardians of this dimension. I got turned into Nightstalker and one of my friends, the other you was turned into Nightmare Moon. This caused her great pain. So another one of my friends, Dusk Chaser, asked the white guardian to replace her. Apparently, he agreed but summoned you in her place, seeing as how you mastered control over the Shadows. Eventually though, my friends were able to set things straight and the guardians set everything back to normal." said Clex, running out of breath.

"Uh..." said Luna trying to piece together what she was just told, she then spoke "So, now I am here with you why?" Clex took a deep breath. Luna stopped him before he could say a word. "Slowly, and say it a sentence at a time."

"Ok, my friend Dusk Chaser really cares for his dimension's Luna. This means, somehow, he cares for you too. He told me to take care of you until you regained strength." said Clex, slower and calmer this time.

"Ok, thank you. I think I shall take a nap now." said Luna.

"Sure, you can use the master's bed room, I will be here reading my favorite book. Feel free to call me up if you need anything."

"Thank you." said Luna. She retreated to the master's bed room for a good nap. Clex took out his book on Equestrian myths.

"I have to learn about these Shadows." said Clex

"Have you found anything about the shadows?" asked Dusk. The seven ponies looked at any book they could for more info on the Shadows.

"As a matter of fact, yes." said Ravenger. He held up a book entitled "The Complete Book of Equestrian Myths."

"Do you really think that will help us?" asked Luna.

"It's all we have so far." said Ravenger.

"It's worth a shot." said Starshine.

(At this point, both Dusk and Clex read at the same time.)

Chapter 3: The Guardians of the Shadows. The guardians of the shadows are one of the trans-dimensional guardians. They get rid of trespassers in their dimension by transferring their dark powers into a being. This may cause pain to the being if the host is not suited to handle pressure. The transferred power takes any emotion that the host has and uses this to enhance their power. Most of the time, anger, selfishness, greed, jealousy, and other negative emotions are used. This causes the host to lose control over their power. These shadows can only be suppressed if another emotion takes over or if exposed to the power of the guardians of light. Even though they may seem conquered, the shadows never truly leave their host. The shadows are contained within the host, waiting to take over. When the host gives in to negative emotions, the shadows shall take over once again.
