Chapter 1: Force awaken

I felt the coldness of the floor and my body ached all over. I could barely move, and I was disoriented. I opened my eyes to see a white marble floor, the floor of a sith destroyer was made of sold metal. But, instead of the dark feeling of an imperial warship, the area felt warm and comforting.

I attempted to look around and see where I was at, but my vision was blurred and my eyes ached from the slight movement.   I saw shapes of something moving around me, but I could not determine what they were.

I was moved up wards by an unknown force, I could slightly feel it, it felt like the force, yet not the force. I different kind of energy, it was warm and soothing to my aching body. My vision improved as I was set down against a wall.

What I saw shocked me, it was a group of equine creatures wearing golden armor and pointing their spears at me, as if I was going to cause them harm. I reached for my light saber, but when I did, they moved their spears closer.

I attempted to speak, yet my throat stung and winced in pain. I still had my traditional robe and armor. My light saber was attached to my belt, along with a few med-packs.

I noticed a larger equine among the group. She told the others to be calm and lower their weapons. She looked to me with a curious look on her. I could tell she was female, after dealing with so many different species, one learns differences in males and females of each race.

I was only a human, nothing special, just a human with scars. I was young for a Jedi master, only in my late twenties. My green eyes had lost some color due to conflict with powerful sith and their power in the dark side and my hair has always been kept short. Long hair is just a hassle; it can get caught in many things, such a siths grip.

But, the Princess just looked at me; her white coat shined in the light of the room and next to her stood a shorter one. She was a midnight blue color, and I noticed they had both wings and a horn. One could easily tell they were royalty from the regale they wore.

The white one stepped forward and looked down at me. "I am Princess Celestia, co-ruler of Equestria along with my sister. We do not know what you are or where you came from, you appeared in the throne room with a flash of light. So if you can, tell me, who are you." To her left stood another princess, much shorter, and she was a lavender color, she held a note pad out with a quill, apparently wanting to take notes.

I gripped my throat to try and tell them that my throat was too sore to speak. They understood and Celestia levitated a glass of water that I gladly accepted with a respectful nod and drank quickly.

I coughed and cleared my throat. "I am Jedi master Martian, Defender of the republic and all who are victims of the sith empire." I shakily stood up and propped my self on the wall. "I mean no harm, to you, or you subjects your highness." I gave as much of a respectful bow as I could. "I wish to have peace with you and everyone else here, and I must ask of my location. So, where exactly am I?" My voice was rugged and a tinge of imperial in it due to my father being an ex-Sith. I had married a sith my self, but I had not seen her in decades. She had to keep it a secret, as did I.

Celestia nodded. "Of course, peace would be most preferable. For where you are, you are in Canterlot castle, within the capital of Equestria.  I have never seen a species like yours; tell me, what are you?"

One of the guards brought a chair for me to sit in and I thanked him. I took a seat and calmed my mind for a second. "I am a human, from you not knowing what I am, I will gander that you have no knowledge of the Republic or the Sith Empire."

Celestia shook her head. "No I do not know of those, you can explain later if you would be so kind, but first, we must make sure you are unharmed. We would like our guests to be uninjured in anyway." She looked to the tow princesses next to her. "This is my sister Luna, and this is Twilight Sparkle. I will have Twilight and a few guards help you to the infirmary so we may check to make sure you are uninjured and the guards are to keep you from doing any harm, I am sorry, but I do not fully trust you yet. I hope you will understand why. I have a few matters to take care of; I must calm ponies that were startled by your appearance. I will meet you in the infirmary. I do look forward in talking some more of who you are."   Celestia and Luna took their leave out of the throne room doors, to deal with who I had apparently startled with my sudden appearance into the room.

I was helped up by two of the guards and Twilight took the lead. We moved through the halls of the castle till we entered the infirmary. I noticed a few winged ponies laying on the beds and a few nurses moving about.

A nurse came to greet Twilight, but I could not hear what they said, my vision went blurry and my hearing muffled. I felt like the world was spinning around me, the next thing I felt was the cold floor of the infirmary.

-----Several hours later-----

I awoke again to find my self laying on a white bed and to hear the noise of multiple voices, a few I recognized and I tried to listen in before I blacked out again.

I opened my eyes to see I was within the council room on Coruscant. I looked to see my old master, master Ke'l Vea'l. She was a Twi'lek. "Martian, I see you have found the sanctuary of you mind within the force. You might think I am your actual master, but I am just a memory. A figment of your mind if you will, as a Jedi, you learned what I taught you. So take this, keep your mind calm and focus on your current life, then once you are done, return to the old one. Goodbye Martian." The room flashed white and then it all went black.

-----Several more hours later-----

I heard Celestia, she was questioning about what had happened, but the nurse kept responding the same way, she honestly did not know.

I turned my head to see two guards at the door and Luna standing in front of the door. Celestia had noticed my movement and moved to the side of the bed. "I do hope you are okay, we would not want you to be injured anymore then you may be. Get some more rest, we can talk tomorrow." Celestia had begun to move away.

I sat up and looked to her. "I am fine, we can talk now, and I need not rest any longer. I must find out why I am here and what I am to do to return to where I came." I attempted to get out of the bed to only collapse to my knees.

I was levitated back onto the bed by Celestia. "You must rest, please, all your questions and mine, will be answered in the morning. Have a good rest Martian." Celestia then left with her sister and Twilight behind her. The guards stood outside the door before being replaced by guards wearing a dark blue armor and bat-like wings.

I closed my eyes and meditated till I fell asleep for the night; I would get answers tomorrow and hopefully find the reason of why and how I was brought to this place. I have met many different species during my time as a Jedi, but these equines were very unique and surprisingly kind to me. But, I let these thoughts wait for another time, I needed to rest. Tomorrow would be one of the more interesting days of my life; I have no doubt about that.
