In The Beginning

The earth ponies were first. They were greeted by a group of humble unicorns that had traveled, beginning with two hundred and ending with a rounded seventy five.In the gruop lied a small, hopeful filly named Comet Streak.With a empty stomach and parched throat she was glad to hear that the unicorns were heading towards a tribe of ponies that knew the land like the back of their hoof.As they trotted to a crimson colt appearing to be the leader, her father searched the area.

     Baren land was all the eye could see as they traversed the rolling hills.What seemed like acres of farmland was untreated and dry.Her father shook his head and spoke :

       "Why travel this long way to a broken promise of oasis? "

     After the death of Comet Streak 's mother, her father slowly faded along with the memories of her mother's smiling face telling her she 'd get her cutie mark soon.

    Comet Streak glanced at her blank flank in memory trying to latch on to her mesmeric voice.

      The group finally arrived at the gathering of earth ponies behind the muscular colt.

       "Hello, " the unicorn leader spoke " I am Kronos."

       "Beet Burrow," the pony hesitated.

       Thunder then shook the land.

        "I knew it, " Beet Burrow jerked scanning the sky.

      The earth ponies gathered immediately looked up too, appearing annoyed.Suddenly, a barrage of candy colored ponies swooped down from the sky as if descending from the heavens.Soon enough a bright yellow peagasus stopped at the sight of the earth pony leader's grimace.

     "Hey Beet Pit! "The girl cooed, slowly descending to the gravel road.

       She turned and waved at both the crowds with a friendly smile.Beet Burrow rolled his eyes and pulled her down.

       "Get that goofy smile off you 'r face!"

      "Whatever, old man, " she said floating back up and turning to the crowd, "name 's Light Prism."

       Her and her flock flew over the earth ponies greeting them one by one.Light Prism swooped over and bopped Comet Streak on her snout.She smiled flying away to greet more unicorns.Her father spoke to a skinny colt flying around

       "Where 's all of the food? "

       "The earthies stored it all in the village house and hand out rations every month, "the Pegasus said.

       "Well do you think we could stay here with you 'r village here? "

       "We live in the clouds,but all the pegasi made a deal to control the weather and watch over the land if they feed us. I just don't know if Beet Burrow will let you in."

        "Oh, " father whispers and end the conversation.

       Beet Burrow raises his hoof, hushing the crowd.He stands up on two hooves and speaks

           "Welcome to Ponyville."
