In a land was a village, next to the village was a forest, in that forest there was a castle, and in that castle a life began.Alicorns cheered seeing Astra carrying the small baby filly out of the ruler's quarter. The filly was shrouded with a collection of night colors. Her father, Astra, knew just by seeing her that she would take on his duties of rising the moon and bringing night. For this he named her Luna.Celestia admired her young sister by her father's side, always grinning at her sleeping smile.Of course,Celestia was going to bring light after her sister's comforting night, and she couldn't wait to be side by side her sister doing it.Her father smiled down on her as the crowd died down.

Ever since alicorns were made they controlled the working of the solar system and watched over the three pony tribes, yet they never interfered with them. They thoughtit would break the balance that they had bestowed Apon the land.Harmony was a thing that they always wanted to keep and the only way to do that was with the gems that they found on a crystal tree near the castle. Most alicorns lived with or near Astra and Lucentia, their rulers for they were a small raze that stick together.

The day of Luna's birth was the day of Reforming, when the three tribes came together and stayed. As Luna grew older and more powerful the tribes grew more, but never grew together. They resented eachother and the alicorns tried to use the tree. But to no avail.A dangerous and malevolent force was coming and the power of the tree was failing under the hatred and discord.Astra and Lucentia prepared the alicorns for what was to come and taught Celestia and Luna of magic of friendship and harmony.

The storm came a week layer.

Alicorns trotted out of the castle armed and ready for battle.Darkness rose from the horizon.Earth ponies fell.Pegasi fell.Unicorns fell.Alicorns fell.

      Two alicorns were left.

       Luna and Celestia.

They cowarded in the darkness of the castle without a soul. They starred at the gate, waiting for their parents to come and hold them. They waited for a year.

No one came.....so they ran and never looked back.
