A Tale Of Two Moons

I awoke to the sound of shifting rubble, and the blinding rays of sunshine. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a purple Alicorn standing over me. She looked at me in astonishment, as if I was some sort of lost relic that had just been found. "Wh-where am I? Am I dead?" I asked in confusion.

The Alicorn's response was, ''You're in Astora... Well, what's left of it... M-my name is Twilight Sparkle. What's yours?"

"WHAT"S LEFT OF IT!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN, WHAT"S LEFT OF IT!?"

"Well, Astora was destroyed approximately 1,008 years ago... Were you... trapped under- *gasps*"

"What's the matter?"

"Y-you have wings... and a h-horn... You're an Alicorn Prince?"

"What?" Puzzled, I look at my back and see a pair of silver-feathered wings. "Wh-wha? I'm am ALICORN!?"

"Apparently so. Wow... What a beautiful Cutie Mark..."

I look at my rear and see a crescent moon with a four-pointed star in the crest. "What the-" Suddenly my memories came flowing back to me. I remembered the epic battle between Princesses Celestia and Luna. I remembered Luna's banishment to the moon. I remembered completing her transformation...

"Are you okay?" Twilight asked, worried.

"I'm... I'm fine... I'm just having a few sudden realizations..."

"Really?"

"Yeah..."

"Sooo... Why exactly are you here?"

"Well, this WAS my home, until it was destroyed..."

"What!? You're over 1,000 years old!? Incredible!"

I looked at her, as if she were crazy, but that was because I thought she was. All of this yelling and fascination... It gave me a headache... I felt like her ranting would NEVER end. But before I could say anything else:

"Oh, we have GOT to show you to the Princesses! They won't believe what you are!"

I made a sarcastic face, and said, "I can't wait..."

"Neither can I!" she responded gleefully.

"Oh, dear Godith..."

She dragged me out of the rubble and instantly teleported me to a castle that I wasn't familiar with.

"Here we are! Canterlot Castle!"
