Outcast

The narrow trail was cut short with angles of soldiers heading towards the small suburbs of Ponyvill, along the way supplies aided the marching brigade. Crates pilled up the wagons with such sources including swords, armor, water, food &camping material. An unnerving fright came upon Brave Heart because of the direction the troops arrived from, Saddle Ariba was one of the richest countries during the war & it wouldn't, go unsurprised if Shadow Stalker decided to finish it off. Brave Heart was very clever when it came to device a lying scheme, although there was a fifty to fifty chance of him succeeding there were no other options to choose from.

Lightning however kept his cool & was rather quiet during confrontations such as these, he never took the "you snooze you lose" theory seriously & he kept himself trained with knowledge under the contact with the enemy. Lightning unlike Brave Heart, was & still is friends with Rain Dasher & was kept under his protection ever since Lightning's birth. It was no question that the two Pegasus were extremely close to a perfect conventional relationship. Once the war broke out & Shadow Stalker declared free rights for his rebellion Rain Dasher forced himself into the rebellion, under the responsible death of his mother Rainbow Dash which was caused by Princess Luna's order, Rain Dasher promised revenge.

Shadow Stalker considered his a powerful asset to the force. Once the brigade came to a stopping point Rain Dasher immediately applauded himself with joy when he took his eyes upon Lighting.

                                      "Lightning is that you? can it be? your still alive!"

                  "Rain Dasher your still alive! it's been so long, & so soon. Aren't I happy to see you again!"

Brave Heart look towards Lighting Thick with a side of confusion & ignorance towards the whole confrontation. Brave Heart then took his attention towards Rain Dasher & back towards the teenage Pegasus, Brave Heart was very agnostic with the whole reunion & started to question himself if this was real. He strangled his head back facing Lighting again & asked.

                                              "Wait kid! you know this guy?"

It took lightning awhile to explain the whole situation & friendship to Brave Heart but then he took the courage to finally speak once more.

"Of course! I knew Rain Dasher & his family way before the rebellion upright began. We are actually extremely close, in the way of brotherhood. To my understanding we've tottered each other during the school years."

Brave Heart gave a sneer towards Lightning Thick with a passion of anger mixed with non understanding abstracted confusion. If Lone Wolf taught him one thing than it was to never keep your guard down towards the enemy, & with superstition Brave Heart started to question Lightning's loyalty towards the freedom fighters. He never liked the kid & probably wont spare him any chances if the confrontation soon marks out of control.

The enemy was either him or Lightning Thick, & Brave Heart wasn't going to be drafted under the "I'm the spy" conclusion. Instead he counted his chances & kept a close eye upon the kid. The ideals of Shadow Stalker was labeled as "devastating" towards others but to Rain Dasher the mind was suited fit & more a responsible act of ideal check. Brave Heart looked back towards Lightning Thick & shook his head with confusion. He whispered to his ear without blowing his cover & said.

        "Are you crazy kid?! he's the enemy not your friend, do you understand moron? I hope you got that placed into your thick skull!"

Rain Dasher overheard the conversation & soon started to empathized towards the two.

       "Enemy? Lightning please tell me your not concluding your condolences with the freedom fighters. It's a losing war for them & look upon the bright side, Shadow Stalker is not a cruel person once you get to know him."

Brave Heart started laughing under the terrible proposal of the rebellion, it wouldn't make sense of finding Shadow Stalker a "good" stallion & the ignorance under his opinion was purely blowing into space. Rain Dasher kept his eye upon the sack wrapped around the back of Brave Heart & soon made the choice of confronting him into a deep instillation. The laughter grew until Rain Dasher soon confronted him.

                                  "You know Brave Heart I find it funny how you kept you secrets unaware from hidden."

                                  "Secrets? how do you know my name anyway Rain Dasher?"

     "Trust me Brave Heart I'm well aware of you under the slight understatements. Plus I don't think that message can be hidden any longer. I was well known of your message scandals & I'm assure that it ends today! now if you don't mind, you can hand the note towards me & let us proceed further towards Ponyvill!"

Dear Diary, well I shouldn't start off most of my sentences like that! obviously it's me Mystery Sparkles, the loyal student of master Potion Sparkles. After my appearance was known by the public this once dead town came back to life! well let me start off with the basics. Starlight's mother Rarity is still alive & under great condition! I'm very humble to once again meet her, another thing worth mentioning was this. Apparently I discovered something strange but yet useful at the same time, here's the story from what I've been told.

Anypony remember the Tyrek incident? well apparently after the issue was resolved my mother Twilight & the rest of the mane six issued a promise towards the citizens. A promise of a safer future, under this statement Twilight & her friends designed a new element, the Element of Magic! but what was strange is the front interior. Somehow my cutie mark was carved in the dead center & this element was made before I was born. I have a strange feeling about my destiny & what it may include, but I'll keep close thinking towards it.

Mystery Sparkles never really kept her attention towards the cheers but was rather mind blown over her popularity, than it came wondering into her head "Aren't I popular in different countries across Equestia?" the question was useful to think about & seemed to place stress upon her. She wasn't use to millions of others counting on her to resolve an issue & the thought of facing her fears extremely soon was nerve wrecking to her. Butterflies filled her stomach with such tensions but the training received from her uncle gave her the confidence to proceed further.

Lone Wolf kept his eye upon the three & felt proud of Equestia's new hero's, but he knew a threat was coming to destroy his chances & what he soon wouldn't expect was that the threat was very near. Two stallions walked up towards him & started to talk about the whole event. One of the stallions turned towards Lone Wolf & said.

                                                  "Such a sight, won't you agree sir?"

Lone Wolf soon stated his reply & said.

                             "By the furthest potential I would hundred percent not be against you opinion soldier!"

                                              "Good because you wont live long to see your defeat!"

The two stallions placed their swords upon the body of Lone Wolf & proceeded to hold him a prisoner under the right of Shadow Stalker.

The two stallions were spy's the whole time & Lone Wolf never even expected it! all around the town spy's cornered the streets under the investigation of Mystery, Starlight, the freedom fighters hideouts & the Element of Magic. Mystery suspected danger near the element & she was indeed correct, a marching armed forces was moving towards the town preparing their attack & spy's barricaded any form of escaping only to make the attack a blood bath. Soon millions will die or be turned towards the darker path, which is the new formed government.

Mystery placed her thought upon the rather odd feeling & started to diverse a plan for any form of combat. Ponyvill was close to experiencing it's final day, & will soon be known as "the town that never was" Mystery looked behind her & noticed two stallions violently pushing an old commander out of his outpost. Mystery quickly rushed her way towards the confrontation leaving the element & the diary under the hooves of Starlight & Rarity. She faced the two & yelled out.

                                           "Before I draw my violence upon the ungifted I want to know, what's the meaning of the attack?"

The two spy's started to eye her & was very clear on the features that match their description. One of the stallions replied to her & said.

           "Well isn't it the one & only Mystery Sparkles? we've been expecting your appearance & arrival. Seems you've grown attached to this town & it's features. Although I hardly doubt the town won't last for any longer! oh & the meaning was under the suspicion of the once known hideouts, & luckily this old stallion will be faced with some rather "hard" questions."

Mystery Sparkles took a quick peek upon Lone Wolf & some strange familiar feelings came upon her mind. It was as if she knew Lone wolf for most of her life despite the fact that he was never seen under her eye contact. The other Stallion drew his sword with the hopes of receiving an answer from Mystery Sparkles.

                           "We know you have it! but we aren't going to force you to face the fatal adjectives. Rain Dasher will settle the confusion, but before more time is killed we better receive answers from this old worn down has been."

Lone Wolf shook his head under the threat, under this response the two stallions drew their swords & was close to killing off the old sergeant, until Mystery stepped in. Magic filled her horn & quickly gazed out with force & action, pushing the two spy's back among the house creating a stinging effect. Starlight & Rarity looked on along side Lone Wolf with shocked emotions. The force applied was extremely strong that it shook the whole planet. Blood gushed from the body's of the two wounded spy's but they were not yet dead.

One of them reached for their sword only to find it almost unusable, the house was filled with black dust from the blast & the building was almost gone. The other spy looked up towards her & spotted a rather disturbing & yet dramatic Mystery Sparkles, looking upon him. Other spy's soon started to eye Mystery & rushed in with a attacking force. Magic soon surrounded Mystery while the spy's approach. The magic was soon released with an impacting force, causing the enemy's to turn into dust. Screaming was soon heard in the background, & the invaders soon arrived.

Brave Heart was tied to a pole which was being carried by two buff soldiers, Lighting Thick was nowhere to be found. The armed forces soon rushed into the houses throwing out many useless items under the search for the element. Some however started to murder many civilians & began to burn the buildings to the ground. Rain Dasher noticed Mystery Sparkles & started to move towards her. Mystery kept her magic under check & yelled towards Rain Dasher.

          "I knew you had the unnerving choice to join with that devious force! now under the unknowing of what to expect, here you are killing the innocent over something that they never acquired!"

         "I'm here for one thing only Mystery Sparkles, but now your my second target. That element will be mine & you will come along as well. That power you hold will be critical over my fight & I cant allow a travesty such as that to happen!"

            "Your blinded by the ignorance of the so called "free independence" I guess murdering the innocent & killing off my life is part of your freedom towards the ponies isn't it!?"

     "Ha what you call ignorance I call power! your just extremely unknowing of the grateful freedom we are receiving. Be glad that I'm offering you a chance to allow you into a better term."

                                              "Better term? request denied my dear old friend!"

Rain Dasher slowly dropped his armor to the ground & was rather irritated with the response from Mystery. Fire blew across the streets & explosions raged near the pathways, Rain Dasher started to smile & was prepared to face any serious threat from her beloved rival. Mystery however never wanted to face the key but was willing to take any means to stop Rain Dasher, even if she needs full force to defeat her. The six elements must be reconnected & there was no chance of proceeding with Rain Dasher against the fight for hope.

The two ponies quickly stared each other down with tension, the fighting between the freedom fighters & the invaders continued, only to ignite the flame between Mystery & Rain Dasher.

                                    "Rain Dasher I'm not here to ignite the flame, but to only prevent it!"

                                            "As you wish, but the light continues to burn through the truth."

Rain Dasher quickly jumped to the sky spreading his wings & made full scale towards Mystery Sparkles, only to be caught by a magical repulse. Once the dust settled Mystery quickly charged towards him & started a series of different attacks, with Rain Dasher blocking most of the tactics. Rain Dasher quickly forced his way behind Mystery & grabbed her by the back, soon spreading his wings. He charged under the speed of light pushing the helpless mare through three buildings, almost knocking her unconscious. Mystery quickly peeked her head up & soon saw the powerful stallion flying towards her, Mystery's horn quickly impulse the magical elements & pushed Rain Dasher to the towards the side smacked dead in the middle of a fountain.

Soldiers quickly charged towards Mystery only to be blasted out the path, Mystery's right hoof quickly started to ignite with electronic objects popping out, she soon charged towards her opponent & leaped into the sky with full force. Right before she could place a gripping attack Rain Dasher flew out of the path & kick her into the ground causing a mass flow of rumble through the town.

Rain Dasher soon grabbed Mystery & lifted her towards the skies with a series of impacting punches to cripple the warrior, he grabbed her by the horn & threw her roughly towards the ground with a critical thud.

Rain Dasher soon ignited a powerful force passed down to him by his mother, he looked down at the mare & rushed down towards her leaving a rainbow path behind him. They both soon collided with each other causing the worlds second greatest sonic rainboom. A huge crater was placed upon the ground only to spot Rain Dasher climbing out of it. The freedom fighters & the rebellion watched the whole battle before their eyes, Rain Dasher soon spotted the element being carried by Starlight, Rain Dasher crawls his way up with bruises covering his body, he looks towards Starlight & said with a rather wounded voice.

                   "Pass me the element & I'll make sure that you two wont end up like that washed down destroyed opponent of mine."

Before Anything else could be said, a torn down warrior crawled out of the crater & grabbed him by the leg. Mystery Sparkles was still alive & will, Mystery looked up towards Rain Dasher & said.

                                                        "I think not my friend!"

Mystery's horn quickly lighted up & under a heartbeat Mystery lifted Rain Dasher & threw him upon the sky & blasting him along the way. Mystery quickly climbed upon different buildings & boosted her way up with the magical force, reaching Rain Dasher along the way. The Magical tension broke out through her body & soon caused a mass explosion, blasting the commander down through town square. Mystery pushed her way towards the almost dead leader & collided with him violently causing a mass explosion through the vicinity. Rumble quickly covered the body of Mystery & her enemy, Rain Dasher slowly moved his way towards the center of town square & soon started to flap his wings causing a powerful tension that will cause more destructive damage towards Mystery.

Mystery used her magical force to collide with the substance of wind, under the response a electrical matter collided with both forces.

The battle of controllable force soon begun, Rain Dasher looked upon Mystery & said.

                      "I can see through your past & I can change your troubles. A better future shall be placed if you join our order, trust me Mystery I'm not here to kill you but to only adjust your potential. I guess I failed!"

Mystery soon lifted Rain Dasher with her magic & was confronted by the young teenage Lightning Thick. The battle between the freedom fighters & the rebellion continued with no chance of ending any time soon. Lone Wolf turned towards the scene & was extremely shocked to see Lightning Thick choosing sides. Lightning Thick tumbled himself purposely onto Mystery knocking her down & allowing Rain Dasher to escape the magical trance. Lone Wolf grew furious over the actions of the young Pegasus, along side Brave Heart, who was tied to a stealth military wagon. Brave Heart shouted with anger & frustration towards Lightning Thick

& said.

                                           "What the hay are you doing you stupid kid!?"

Mystery was surprised towards the other teenagers action. Rain Dasher was wounded & bruised up with many failed attempts trying to get back upon his feet, Lightning Thick barricaded the torn up body of Mystery down & said with such emotion & anger.

                                "Don't please, I've lost everything & I cant loose anymore!"

Tears rushed down the eyes of Lightning & softly pattered the body of Mystery. she looked up at the sorrow Pegasus & said with content.

                                "I know how you feel, & unlucky enough your not the only one."

Mystery got back up onto her two hooves & started to walk towards Rain Dasher. Night made it's presents known as the burning ashes of fire from the battle where the only source of clear light, the battle for superior control & extermination continued. Mystery was covered packed full of blood & wounds from her mini war with her "enemy" confrontation. She got up & crawled out of the crater towards Rain Dasher, for a brief minuet the battle stopped as all eyes were turned towards Mystery with confusion & disbelief.

Lone Wolf kept his mind upon Lightning Thick & wondered about his actions, Brave Heart soon changed from mad towards a hint of dis belief.

Mystery Sparkles, the one mare that showed everypony what she's capable of, was now holding out her hoof to greet a helping pathway for Rain Dasher. Under a controversial choice, this made Mystery more mysterious, of course Mystery felt the right of non hatred for the son of Rainbow Dash, Rain Dasher was needed for the help of carrying the elements. Rain Dasher grabbed her hoof & brought himself back upon his hooves & said.

                                      "I'm an enemy, why couldn't you kill me right then, right now?"

                             "Because I made the choice. I let you live & soon I hope you'll remember that! now I'm giving you the choice to leave & call off the attack. I hope you'll see the choices made from within the filth of Shadow Stalker."

                                       "If that's your wish than I'll be sure to accept any responsibility, but my loyalty is within Shadow Stalker."

Before any the attack was called off, a flash of a royal chariot was dogging it's way towards the ground. Two Pegasus were carrying the chariot but standing within the middle was the darkest individual in all of Equestia. Shadow Stalker seemed to notice the fight between the two competitors, once the chariot landed Shadow Stalker took a nice clean step upon the cold muddy grass. Rain Dasher stood still in his usual royal pose, Shadow Stalker walked beside him & said with built annoyance upon his words.

                       "I though I told you to destroy the hideouts, not to stop the attacks but to destroy our enemies. I'm very censure when I point out the objectives, so let me run you through again! Stop, destroy, stop destroy!"

Rain Dasher shuttled & shacked after hearing the deep dark voice of Shadow Stalker, Rain Dasher struggled to find an excuse but soon started to talk again.

                                                    "B-but I h-had no o-other......"

Shadow Stalker interrupted the freighted Pegasus & moved closer to him with anger filling his head.

                                        "Shhhh don't continue my friend. I hate it when things go out of control, & I hope in advance that you'll forgive me one day, because you know for sure that I...."

Before Shadow Stalker continued his horn flashed the unnerving pale of light & was ready to strike the force of dark magic. With the magic Shadow Stalker lifted the wounded commander back off his hooves & violently started to bang him towards the ground, over & over again as he screams out his next sentence.

                                           "Hate when things don't turn towards my advantage!"

Rain Dasher was left soaking under his own puddle of blood, extremely wounded with fatal injuries, Shadow Stalker sat near Rain Dasher & stared off towards Mystery. Lone Wolf stood a far distance away from Shadow Stalker, so his identity wouldn't be effected. Lone Wolf's identity should never be known, due to the fact that he has strong tides with a former royal family & also with Mystery herself. Shadow Stalker arose & rushed up to hug Mystery with joy. He looked towards her & said.

                                  "I know those eyes anywhere Mystery! I'm so sorry for this whole failed attempt. but now I guess judging by your friend Rain Dasher, things were settled between me & him.... Not munch for words are you? I see, I like that! but now it's time to party. Me & you everyday!"

Before Mystery could move, a sack was placed over her head & she was tied down.
