Under the nose of everyone in Ponyville, an abusive mother has sheltered her unfortunate filly in her room since she's been able to talk. Giving her bland food and water, and words meaner than any foal should ever hear. Her only companion in this world is a stuffed Pegasus named Smarts, and together, they will find themselves in the outside world, alone, and naive.

She may end up wishing she never tried to leave.
